Napata77: Can you see yourself, that you are very stupid and foolish? When was the approval given? Elections have just been concluded. Abia and Enugu was just yesterday, so you want to compare that with governments that are incoming. Do you know the template that Lagos State, have put down long before now for this? Sanwo-Olu has been in the saddle for 4yrs now, with renewed mandate, you want to compare the rest with him? Make use of your senses please. 3 Likes |

nlfpmod: I wish him all the best and pray that he will allow God use him for the best interest of the Abians in particular and IGBOS in general. The best of governors that Abians have had, was Dr. Ognonnaya Onu. After him, others like Orji Uzor Kalu, were thieves and official armed robbers. He should not be like Soludo Charles. IGBOS had high hopes on him, believing that he will the shinning light of the change the IGBOS will have, but his style of government and out put within his time, has left so many of us in doubt as to when the expected savior in the SE will come. |

No wonder Donald Trump can call this nation any name of his choice. President Buhari, you are not and have not done well. |

ebukajay184: Mr Governor, with all due respect,I want to say your statement, doesn't reflect what your office is. You saw Oluomo display his acts in the elections, you saw other shenanigans in the past, you said nothing. Only for you to spill this, after you have won. Mr Governor, this is not right The posterity will judge everyone. The seed that was sown in Lagos State, under your reign as governor in this election, will be inherited by generations unborn, including some who may be close to you. For what a man sows he reap. During the reign of Tinubu, Fashola and Amode, there were oppositions, yet they won, never in their time was there anything like ethnic profiling, never in their time, were people stopped from voting because of the tribe, but the election that gave you, your second term, was a sham. It will stick with you. You may have won the battle, but the war has not been one. Sir, I believe that you could have won this election fair and square, even in the midst of the opposition, if you had lived up to expectations, if you have made this comment before the election, but it never came. You are not a bad man, neither are you a bad governor, but this stain, has rubbished all the goodwill. Stop talking to us as we are kids |

YoungLionken: It was the fear of the first election that brought out the stupidity of APC and their supporters. If Tinubu could lose his base in the first election, they knew that Sanwo-Olu was a goner. If it was free and fair, APC, like Matawale, would have been licking their dust by now. |

TheRareGem1:Lagos Your statement after your meeting at Chattam House, about how to get power, may have sharpened all that occurred during this elections As a leader, when the foundation of this was laid in Lagos, by your trusted supporters, Oluomo, one had expected that you will rise up and calm the situation, but you never did. Feelings have been raised, bad blood generated, friendship boundaries broken and you are addressing the issue now. This is medicine after death. Great leaders foresees danger, and warn their citizens and followers to escape from the danger, but you never did. Posterity will judge all of us. |

Christistruth00: Please read my post again. I think you lack the ability to comprehend one statement. Process is the same everywhere, once it's not right in one area, it can't be right everywhere, if the same method is applied either in the East, West, North or South. |

XAUBulls: I think, you are missing it somewhere. I don't think, you have been a victim of Yoruba tribalism, if you have, you will not be pushing this rot and nonsense. That you have 3 out of 6 governors in the SW, marrying people from the SS,SE, is never a criteria to show how untribalistic the Yorubas are. You don't understand Yoruba politics. If you do, you will not say the rejected GRV, for what he said. If you are not from the mainstream Yoruba political hegemony, no matter who you are, you are seen as Omo ale. E.g (1) Obj, why didn't they support him in 1999? (2) Ebenezer Babatope, a great Awoist, hence he shifted to PDP, who hears about him again in Yoruba politics. (3) Jimi Agbaje, when he contested on the platform of PDP, in 2019, check out what they said against him. (3) When FFF, was with PDP, check out what the mainstream Yoruba politicians said about him, he's now, an Omoluabi. It's not about what GRV said, but because of his not connecting with the mainstream Yoruba politics. In 1978-79, M. K. O Abiola was a political outcast in Yoruba land, despite his wealth, because he was not resonating with the core Yoruba politicians and politics. Awo was their political God, anyone against him is a devil, that must be dealt with. Do note that in Yoruba politics, those who are against there intrest is treated as out casts, no matter how good they are. Mr Ogunseye Ogunlewe, has gone back to APC, from PDP, he is a member of GAC, in Lagos State. That's how the politics of Yoruba is played. Ask Obanikoro, Seye Ogunlewe and Dr Dosumu, their experience about Yoruba politics, when the defected from AD, to PDP, between 1999-2007. All of these, is to show the kind of politics, been played here in Yoruba land. It's all about their interest and agenda. |

Strikethem: Please, don't go about shaking the table that you know nothing about. Do you know how many prominent Igbomen, that are married to Yorubas? My uncles, married Yoruba women, who raised up children with them. A Yoruba woman, was made the women leader of my town here in Lagos, because, she married my uncle and her rights as one married to an Igboman, was not denied her. My sister, married a Yoruba man in my state, they have two children now and are living peacefully in the East. A Yoruba man, is handling roofing jobs going on in my kindred now. Emeka Anyaoku, the former Sec- Gen of Common Wealth, married a Yoruba woman, without decriminalization. So what's the big deal in Yoruba, marrying IGBOS? Gabriel Suswan's wife is a Yoruba lady, Muritalal Mohammed, married a Yoruba woman, so what is the big deal? |

naptu2: I'm one of the most depressed and disappointed Nigeria, who lives in Lagos, that was sad over the conduct of the last general elections. Elections come, go,the people and nation, remains and move ahead. I seize this medium to dissuade anyone like me who was also disappointed with the conduct of the election, from taking part in any form of protest in Lagos State or elsewhere, that will rupture the fragile peace we have now in the country. Peace is priceless, you may not understand, till your peace is disturbed. Power is transient. You win today, and lose tomorrow. Please let genuine peace reign every where in Nigeria. I want to specifically, appeal to my Igbo brothers and the Nigerian Youths who are still hurting, to please let those steam be released. It pains, to see your expectations not realized, not because you made no efforts, but because you were deliberately disenfranchise d. But we must move. I have laid off every bitterness and anger, and will advise you to do same. Let's continue to push, in no distant time, we shall be victorious. Thanks and God bless all. |

bcomputer101: You are free to have any opinion you want about the IGBOS, that is Ok. But understand one thing about them. They are not easily moved to do anything, but once they are, the overdo it. You see this election matter, IGBOS, Don't normally get involved in elections in Lagos State, if you recall the past. It's still your people, who usually say, IGBOS, don't vote in elections, all the care about is their shops. Now, they are getting involved in elections in Lagos State, you are crucifying them If you say the should go back to their states, well, they may reconsider other things here as well, since they don't have a say over anything here. Omoawoke: They are following the constitution of Nigeria, which guarantees every Nigerian the right to live anywhere of their choice peacefully, vote and be voted for. If the Hsusas, want to contest here, no one stops them. But trust me, it will happen one here in Lagos State. For your information, the Hsusas have been contesting and winning elections here, but they are smart about it. They contest under the ruling party. An Hausa man has contest for councillor, chairmanship of L. C D. A here in Lagos. Go to Iba and find out. |
Politics / Re: Lagos Election: Chinedu Rhodes-vivour Hallucinating After Sanwo-Olu’s Win – APC by honeyB2018: 2:31pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Christistruth00: I'm not concerned about who wins, but I'm about the process. Let everyone be given the chance to vote, whoever wins becomes the winner. One stupid act you have refused to understand, is that it's not everyone in Igbo land that supports Peter Obi. I have been saying for the longest time, I'm not Peter Obi's fan, neither did I vote for him nor support his political moves, so it's not every Igbo man that will vote for him. If the process is ok, even when you lose, your conscience will tell you who you.are So stop your tribalism, it will hurt Yoruba race the more. 8yrs, will soon be yesterday. If Tinubu is sworn in as president. Is it not Buhari, that is about going out now. Awolowo sowed the seed of tribalism, which you people are standing upon today Years to come, Yoruba will reap this fruit |
Politics / Re: Lagos Election: Chinedu Rhodes-vivour Hallucinating After Sanwo-Olu’s Win – APC by honeyB2018: 8:56am On Mar 20, 2023 |
Christistruth00: You see the stupidity in some of you. You are deriding, because he bore a name, you hate to associate with. You derided him, because he's not a Lagosian, you have already designed his political future, when you're not God. Lots of people who are not Lagosians have ruled Lagos and are still ruling Lagos. You threw him under the bus for destruction for standing up to challenge the status quo. You denied him his Yoruba name, because you hate him. Endsars, that was a nation wide protest, has been narrowed down to a tribe and person, as if he has committed the worst sin. Don't forget, that the constitution of Nigeria, today is the grand norm of the laws guiding this nation. Everyone is free to live anywhere of their choice unhindered and peacefully. It also guarantees every Nigerian the right to vote and be voted for. You have further divided this country from where Buhari left it. Good luck to you people. 1 Like |
