Tpfkakambo: the parables in d bible never strted with "there was a certain man except for the parable of d prodgl son and d shrewd manager,the good samaritan, and d great banquet". This is not suffcient justication for a parable.
All others began wth: he told thm a parable, the kingdom of God is like,etc.
Parables are wrd pictures Jesus used to teach a spiritual fact.
The parable of d banquet illustrated d kingdom of God.
The prodgl son illustrates wat Jesus said in the parable of d lost coin, there is joy wen a lost sinner returns,
the gud samaritan was used to demonstrate wat lov is.and to correct a bigoted lawyer wu wanted to justify himself.

Jesus' parable were 99 percnt about wat the kingdom of God /heaven is like.
He never used actual names..
There was a moral to it.

On d other hand, the rch man and lazarus gave wasnt a moral story
or about d kingdom of heaven,
and cited ACTUAL PEOPLE , abraham, so if it was a parable Jesus was lyng!
Jesus never used death , hell to teach a parable.
Jesus used illustrations the ppl were already familiar with to teach illustrate spiritual thngs.
Like . The sower,isreal was agrarian.
The lost sheep, the weeds,
the banquet,
the lost son,
the wheat nd tares,
the mustard seed,
the talents
the sheep and goat
the ten virgins
the vineyard
etc
because d ppl cud realte with these. He kept it simple. Y wud he break his princple of keepng it simple and relatve to concoct sth like the rchman and lazarus?
because tht wasnt a parable!

How can the boldeÐ not be enough Évidence to show that the introductory part of the story of the rich man and lazarus is a parable??........it is obvious that it is......how can the parable of the shrewd manager which started luke chapter 16 and with the same ""there was a certain rich man"" be a parable and the succeeding story of the rich man and lazarus that started the same way not be a parable??........please how??............

Can we also agree that the parable of the shrewd manager and the prodigal son aren't parables too??.....

Please take a look at how Jesus started this parable too.......

If you still insist that the story of the rich man and lazarus isn't a parable then I have questions for you which in your wildest dreams you might not be able to answer...........

Also the Concept of HeLl is one that paints God as extra-judicial......would God roast individuals multiples times??......

Would God roast persons first in HELL,then later transfer them into the Lake of fire to burn again??.......or can you say HEll is the same as the lake of fire......would God leave adam and eve the creators of sin in humans and burn US there progenies in both Hell and the Lake of Fire literally,forever??.....would GOD reserve satan the chief trouble maker for the Lake of Fire only,while unrepentant humans would first of all be roasted a lil in Hell and then later transfered to the lake of fire??....

All the parables of Jesus always started like ""there was a certain man,......"a certain man....

Consistently Jesus started his parables in this manner.......and we have all seen that it is impossible for the individuals in that parable to had been in heaven or in a roasting chamber literally when Jesus gave that parable...........

Nations,human governments,sorrow,satan,Death itself would be thrown into the lake of fire....

It is up to you to tell me what kind of fire is that........you guys sometimes should relax back and review all the facts before arriving at a conclusion....

We know the basis of all mentations is the human brain but why should the materials in the brain evoke these mentations. There is no reason for a purposeless, amoral material to start considering purpose, yet this is what we see in the brain and in all biological systems. Going by the known fact that purpose & morals can only be defined in context of that which has intelligence I can extrapolate that morality (particularly in humans) ultimately comes from an intelligent being (God).
Materialists must realize that matter alone can't think or feel. These attributes require a specific assemblage of materials which CANNOT self-assemble the only reasonable option is to infer from human ability to create intelligent machines that intelligence is required to create intelligence and this necessitates a God. After all is said and done I think the basis of morality is intelligence.
