I can't marry a man that is less educated. A man's ego is not a very interesting thing to deal with. When he is less educated, many things will be considered a slight to him.because of that.

I told a guy i dated " it is such a shame that we didn't see yesterday" and he said "shame on who?". I spent the next few days explaining myself and apologizing. It was a big issue.

Earning less is easier to mange if he is educated.

There are greater issues in life to be more concerned with than marriage or children ultimately.

It is irritating and cringe-worthy. And these are guys that are always mouthing about how they prefer to date foreign women or how backward Nigeria is compared to foreign countries.

We both dated different people and he even used to ask me help him "access" a girl he liked. And then whenever i needed to make a continental dish, i would get him to help me.

It never crossed my mind to date him and i doubt it crossed his until that year. We started dating Feb/March, he proposed in May and we got married in November.

You are very right. In my case, i dated guys that i felt were shallow and the relationships were short-lived. I never clubbed or kept late nights and i used to wonder if i would ever meet a guy. Forget church guys...they are the same guys you meet outside but in a sanctimonious form.

When i eventually got married, it was to a childhood friend that i had kept in touch with over the years and it has been worth it.

The lady that made the silly comment that birthed this thread is ignorant and has mouth because she happens to be married. I am married but i know that single ladies even in their 50s may not be single because of a fault of theirs.

There are just too many myopic men and ladies that make single ladies feel insecure and unworthy. An older friend of mine clocked 45 and she is single. She did a photoshoot and flooded Facebook and also threw a party. Life is for everyone...single or married.
