donstan18: Shot fired!! What a bitter truth! After bashing her, you all will still log out and face reality of what she said
Look at them, a lot of them up there wishing and saying she isn't happy with her family, all because she said the truth, all because the truth is bitter.
Even without being told, an evening newspaper lady should know that she has no right to celebrate birthday because she has been biologically expired, psychological traumatized, sexually useless, maritally screwed and aboki-cally suyalized.
A single lady still celebrating birthdays, going to wedding parties and still doing boyfriend/boo at 30+, is a disgrace and a big shame.
Sensible evening newspapers will do nothing to end their predicament but............ When your daughter is 42 and unmarried, i hope you will remember this trash and baseless comments you are making. |

BluntBoy: Imalma, do fraudsters put guns to the heads of their victims before swindling them of their hard earned money?
Of course not. Pastors are like scammers. They brainwash their victims into giving. For you to be brainwashed means that you have a level of greed about what you would get. Or have you ever been brainwashed? Even those 419 fraudsters that jazz people into bringing their valuables at home work on the person's greed. I have been a member of many churches....Redeemed, Zoe ministries, Assemblies of God, Winner's Chapel, Global Impact Church; Apostolic Church and i have never been forced or brainwashed to give. If you do not understand the bible for yourself and serve God personally, then you are responsible for whatever folly any greedy pastor lures you into. I am in a church and i have been in it for about 10yrs and my pastor says we should not give if we do not believe because it will be a waste of our money. Try and drop your bias and generalizations for pastors and you will be fine |

Politics › Re: INEC Declares Oyetola Gboyega The Winner Of Osun State Governorship Election by ImaIma1(f): 11:15am On Sep 28, 2018 |
We have an idea about what will transpire in the presidential elections.
Honestly, our youths represented here on Nairaland are are not objectively fighting for the future of this country but are just mentally tied to parties that do not have the interest of the masses at heart.
Here on NL is just a visionless battle between APC and PDP zombies blindly pledging allegiance to corrupt leadership and people we know at the back of our minds will not take the country or state even a baby step forward.
The foolishness and immaturity of our youth is apparently what makes the older generation believe that we cannot successfully run for president or governorship and execute well. Because many are still enslaved by the competition, razzmatazz and showiness of the various parties they support forgetting what we are really fighting for...a better Nigeria.
We need to be emancipated from mental and political slavery as it is already eating deep into the younger generation...the generation with the hope of saving our country Nigeria from down-slide disaster.
APC...PDP...SDP...APP...CCC...AAA...whatever alphabet it comes in is the same old corrupt people being shuffled like cards and going in and out of parties. So you all can continue acting like zombies and supporting people that do not care about you and your family. |

BluntBoy: Freeze is not against donations. But against false gospels such as tithes and first fruits. We are still saying the same thing. Tithe, first fruits, seeds, offerings, whatever. He should not be paid from it. Nobody is forced to pay tithe, first fruits, etc. Anyone under duress to pay, is doing so foolishly and should blame himself/herself. And God is capable enough to fight for himself. He doesn't need Freeze to do it for him. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Daddy Freeze Reveals Paul Adefarasin Is Behind His Boycott From MC Jobs by ImaIma1(f): 3:44pm On Sep 27, 2018 |
BluntBoy: Imalma, do you actually think pastors spend tithes on jingles?
Ordinary to buy a single plastic chair, they will ask for donation. They ask for donation, even from widows, for things the pastor himself can afford to purchase.
Tithes go into the pastor's pockets. No matter how rich a pastor gets, he will still ask his relatively poor members to donate if the Church needed even a needle. That is what you believe based on your church. It is still money from the congregation that is used for the jingles...whether seed, tithes or whatever. Freeze is against all of that and should not be paid with it. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Daddy Freeze Reveals Paul Adefarasin Is Behind His Boycott From MC Jobs by ImaIma1(f): 1:23pm On Sep 27, 2018 |
BluntBoy: He wasn't getting salaries from tithes.
He was doing MC jobs but suddenly, no one was calling him again. Obviously, the mafias ganged up to ensure that none of their patrons patronized Freeze any longer.
For instance, when 9ice had a fight with his former wife, some DJs who were sympathetic to his wife stopped playing his songs. He was forced to start shooting a lot of videos to push his music out. I mean the jingles. If the church does jingles on his radio station paid with tithes of people, it is unfair for Freeze to be paid salary generated from the jingles funded by the tithes. |

Family › Re: Effects Of Divorce On A Woman..Men Take Note by ImaIma1(f): 8:48am On Sep 27, 2018 |
revolt: these feminists lol...ok face reality. The reason men tend to remarry is cos there are still so many single women or babymamas desperately in need of a relationship. As long as the man is financially stable its almost certain in less than 5years hed have started a new family. There are exceptions to this rule. The only thing that affects the man is perhaps the children. The greatest losers and ones affected are the kids. Women on the other hand in desperation settle for less ie a toyboy or a man whose for obvious reasons. Which o0% of the time results on a separation. Whether 18 or 31 century, women age faster than men and become less appealing once children are involved. Women in the West as you claim are so desperate they would do anything to even date very illiterate 3 world nation men hoping to tie them down in marriage. So this narrative your preaching here can fly for people that aren't well travelled. We know it's even easier fo get stable relationships here than in the West. There are thousands of men that reconcile with kids when they grow but the real damaged people are the kids. I haven't seen any divorced woman that's had a stable relationship. They all ususlly become cougars ..no abuse intended. I disagree with your theory. So a man will marry a desperate baby mama or single lady out of pity even if he doesn't love her? Nope. So many divorced women remarry and thrive in the second marriages especially if the first marriage was a sham. So also for men. If a woman is with a husband that gives her so much problems because he is a cheat, burden, terror, off course she will be better off without him. The cougar thing is not for everyone. Some women will take that route but some will still hope to find true love and a real man and they will. The world is big enough for all of us. Men and women are affected by divorce...forget that a man tries to form macho and act like he is fine. It also affects him. |

I can tell you that I haven't met any rude nurse yet.
The only problem I do have in government hospital is delay in seeing the doc.
IMO, rudeness is individual thing.
Would you think that an air hostess will be rude with that their kind of profession?
I've encountered two rude air hostesses. One almost poured me juice on a flight. You are a guy...most times they are nice to men for one reason or the other. |

How can such people be rude? Hardly the ones in govt hospitals in Nigeria. The one you mentioned is in the hospitals abroad or the private ones here. The nurses i encountered were caring and concerned and always cheerful...not govt hospital though. Whenever i take my LO for immunization(in a govt hospital), it is always rudeness galore. The first time i went there, i was sent back to my seat because i did not answer "ma" when my baby's name was called. They even scold you for not holding the baby properly for the injection as if we were trained. It is always a day of patience and holding back. |

Women have it differently. Some will continue sex till the delivery day while some will be too uncomfortable or irritated to do it.
If you truly love her, bear with her and be patient. Try to be caring and understanding. Ask her how she is feeling and what you can do to help. She will come around especially if you are affectionate towards her rather than demanding.
All the best! And no cheating. |

Profession doesn't makes anyone rude/kind.
If it does, then every soldier would be rude and every air hostess would be kind. You haven't met Government hospital nurses. They insult you and order you around. They are especially mean to pregnant women. I vowed not to put to bed there. I cannot be in pain and be scolded. |

Pipedreams: But she would be laughed at her back and many african men do not wish to marry a second hand. She may remarry a widower or a fellow divorcee or an elderly man as second wife. No sane young man with a morally sound family will agree to marry her except on rare cases. Do not be too sure. The fact that you wouldn't doesn't mean someone else won't. I have a senior family friend who is divorced and has a 13yr old daughter. She is engaged to a "never been married" doctor. And his family does not mind. They are all abroad. There is still hope for everyone...no matter what. Life goes on |

lefulefu: There was this hollywood movie i watched where this dude who happened to be a writer took out one lady for date. The lady was gushing over the guy telling him how so much she loves his novels and how she would want to be a great writer like him. Mind u it was not a romantic date but jus a friendly date. Halfway through the meal the guy paid with his credit card but d waiter tried the card and told d guy d card wasnt working. D guy got embarrased and told d waiter to check it again but d waiter checked and told him d credit card wasnt working. D guy was now getting so embarrased but d young lady took out her cash from her purse and paid for both her and the guy's meal saying it was her pleasure and it wasnt an issue. Now after watching dat scene in dat movie i now wondered if such scenario were to play in naija hw it would end . Anyway in my opinion both parties should pay the tab but if one party volunteers to pay for both he or she is welcome. It could play out the same way. I watched a Nigerian series recently. They went on a date and the guy's cards were not working. But in his case, he didn't have any money in his account but he had mouth to brag. He was just asking the waiter to try his empty cards while trying to buy time The lady eventually brought out her card and paid...lol. You guys love to see we Nigerian ladies as leeches. |
