some people don't fake it o, my SIL will fall sick from the first to the last months, and get better when she gives birth. She's presently carrying the 3rd and she's been sick, from one hospital to the other.
Awww!! I pray for a safe delivery for her.

I was talking about the cravings. I didn't say it is fake. I only said it could be controlled.

Some do it as a result of surge of hormone not intentional, dat why u dont compare urself to others.
Common!!! You can't put your life and well being in danger or lose your sense of right and wrong and say it is a surge of hormone. If same person passes by a mad woman eating something that happens to smell enticing, will she go and meet the mad woman?

If no, that means there is some strength deep down somewhere to restrain ourselves.

I am comparing myself or saying i am better. Please do not get it wrong. I had my issues i dealt with

Selfish talk..

Some women spend the entire 9months in the hospital, as well as hell and back, some lost their lives due to pregnancy so what is the exaggeation you are talking about? angry...just because you were lucky does not mean others are or were
I know that. A close friend was a on drip for the first 7months.

We are saying different things. I never said people do not lose their lives. That wasn't even the issue here.

If you do not understand what i mean, you can move along.

And you saying it now? Well, the level of promiscuity on our campuses is alarming.

Although, lectures barely harass smart and intelligent ladies. Na all these ones wey de always fail thereby looking for cheap upgrading, those who don't submit their course work as at when due, and those who love showing themselves, and always visiting their offices.

Lecturers avoid smart and intelligent girls, even if dem fine like mammi water. Na dull girls d fall.
Not true. There were times i submitted my assignments late or had to beg a lecturer for pardon in advance for missing tests. And i visited a particular lecturer's office often when i needed clarity on his course. It didn't mean they had to take advantage of me.

Besides whether a lady is dull or air headed doesn't still give a lecturer access to sleep with her. It is still her body and choice.

I am not surprised;
Pastors are first men before they are men of God.
Reverend will first be men.
And a man will always be a man.

I tell folks.... Being born again doesn't stop your preek from misbehaving. After all, it was your heart you gave to Christ not your preek.

Every man is potentially dangerous to a woman.
The only man to trust around a woman is an amputated eunuch without a tongue.

With that said,
The Reverend has eyes for good food.

Men feel cheating is their right and heritage cheesy. They were created to cheat...that is how they are wired. They are polygamous in nature...and every other lie they tell themselves.

Haba na me hate am pass, u were too extreme not all women are faking it.
I heard of a pregnant woman that begged a total stranger in a bus for puffpuff and another one that was passing by some women cooking for a party and stopped there to ask them.for the food even if she didnt know them. That is extreme.

Different strokes for different folks;just because you had mild cravings doesn't mean another person won't have severe cravings...
Stop sounding as if you are the first woman to get pregnant;for the fact that you were able to control your cravings does not mean that all other pregnant women out there faked their cravings or could not control it.
You have no idea about severe cravings nor pregnancy complications.
Calm down!! My neighbour was pregnant before me and she made me understand that it is not a do or die affair. If she sees it, she eats it but if not, she won't go out of her way.

My cousin is currently pregnant and her husband is away most nights because of his job. So she is alone most times. She craves but does not even have time to act on it all the time. I have seen a lot of people deal with it.

While i have seen the ones that can beg for food just because it smells nice. Food smell used to torment me. I could smell afang from a street away or fried stew with beef...lol. But i think the mind and our strong will can come into play. It is not like the woman is completely helpless and unable to function until she eats the food.

Also, i heard in the past that when a woman is pregnant, her flaws are more pronounced. That those that can go and beg for food even from total strangers had it in them before. I do not know how true though.

And many have been pregnant before me. I am not the first...wont be the last

I think some women exaggerate it...they probably never get help from their husbands on a normal day and are trying to punish him cheesy.

I hardly had cravings i couldn't control. I never woke hubby up for food. I still did things myself...still cooked for him most times. And if i didn't feel up to cooking, i would tell him to get food.

An older friend said he drove to abule egba from surulere to look for masa (i think it is a Ghanaian food) and he once went to a mango sellers house at almost midnight because his wife wanted mangoes.

The question is...what do single pregnant women do? With no husband or man to send around. From experience i realized that this cravings can be controlled. Not the one that one pregnant woman will go and beg for jollof rice where they are cooking as she is passing by cheesy cheesy

Anyway...involving his mother or sisters or female relatives does not remove the fact that what he said is true. Nigerian ladies/Women today have totally lost it.
And Nigerian men? Will I say because i have met few Nigerian men that have "lost it", i will then generalize and say Nigerian men are this or that. That is an unintelligent conclusion.

I need to meet at least 70% of the whole men in Nigeria to come to that conclusion.

The thing is many of such people are yet to encounter non Nigerian ladies. When they happen to go out to other countries, they will change their line of thoughts. I hate hearing stupid generalization like he did. Even the Nigerian ladies, he is yet to encounter a quarter of their population in the place he resides.
Just like a song says "na after we go, we go know....."
As in!!! It makes them sound very unintelligent and unenlightened. Using their shallow choice of girlfriends or the girls in their "yard" or area to judge us all. Very small minded thinking

I won't go into any long sermon on this I'll just speak from personal experience.

No Nigerian woman is worth the trouble ahead. Infidelity is a serious Nigerian girl issue and it won't leave after marriage rather it will only get worse since her lifelong ambition has been fulfilled and she is now at peace.

Nigerian girls are materialistic and selfish. They do not truly understand the term "love".

Every Nigerian girl 25 & above has engaged in prostitution of some sort be it openly or 'coded'. There are corporate oloshos now sef. By prostitution I mean sleeping with a man for financial gain.

They are just not worth it.

I seriously doubt if I'll ever get married to a Nigerian girl. I'll have two kids from 2 different women & that's it.

Quote me & bash me but kindly produce counter-points or disprove my points while you do so. Oh & lest I forget I have no sisters & my mom is late too.

Goodnight.
How many did you actually date before this your conclusion?

Is it from the little number you saw friends or family experiences that you have come to this conclusion?

Are there Nigerian women that have remained married and are faithful?

Do you have any family or friends who have been married to good Nigerian women?

Lastly, are your sisters, female cousins, mum part of this your conclusion?

She doesn't want people to know his name. Then why did she name him? Is it not his name?

Pay your MIL little attention. Call him baby, toddler..whatever you like. If she complains, act like you didn't hear. If she complains to you directly, nod like you understand. As soon as you leave her, call him baby. She will get the point that she shouldn't meddle.

You need to take control of your home. It is your house not hers.
