Mrlemuel: In terms of Smartphone, Glo 3G/4G lte takes the lead, not just about their cheap data bundles, even the speed is "wow!",
then comes Airtel, but the way your data will vanish before you even blink will make you rethink your decision,
and then Mtn, they have been good all the way.
can't vouch for etisalat, their data is outrageously high, yet their service isn't that feasible. You must be a Glo staff to be lying like this. Glo has the worst data network. |

Hmmm...well in your case you are the guy snd she might end up becoming a Christian. But if she doesn't, there will be differences and clashes. Love is not enough to sustain a marriage. So you have to project fivd yrs down the line...ten years... . I was in love with a muslim guy at one point abd I saw in him a lot of things i wanted in a husband. But i thought about a lot of things like how would we bring up the children...will they be torn between being Christian or Muslim...would my husband and I be able to pray together...etc. and i knew i was never going to convert and so I moved on. The moral of my story...weigh all the options before making ur decision. |

Romance › Re: Check Out What A Man Does To His Wife To Prevent Her From Being Richer Than Him by ImaIma1(f): 3:35pm On May 23, 2017 |
pocohantas: Firstly, there are lot of women doing it and you won't know.
The men playing head of family are they not misbehaving? Do you know how many men mistreat their wives and kids just because they're the sole money source? Or only men are allowed to misbehave?
A Nigerian man is the sole breadwinner, his wife would quietly accept her role. When a wife becomes the sole breadwinner, he will still expect her to come home and cook every night, wash, sweep, clean...then have marathon sex with him. Isn't she human? Once she counters one, he'll tag it misbehaviour.
One of the reason marriages are breaking anyhow in recent times is because women are becoming more financially independent, which is about the main thing men wield against them. As women become more empowered, I foresee greater problems. Asides money, most widows have no other memory of the Nigerian husbands. Some of you have to learn to bring something more than money to the table, it is a cure for this insecurity.
This woman is obviously nice, that's the only reason the man knows she has money, let alone seeing it to take. In her mind she is supporting her husband. There are spouses like this everywhere. So, condemn what is bad and leave this your excuse. Very nice comment. What marriages need is understanding and communication. If they have this, both parties will be on the same page and plan together rather than anyone trying to destroy the other. It's very disheartening that a man who claims to love his wife will do things to tear her down instead of building her up. The ego is bigger than the love. |

tetula123: number 4sums it all... I would rather give a beggar in the street rather, as I feel God will appreciate it more and they need it more than the church does. you see a well built church telling you to want to destroy a segment of the church so they will rebuild it again to beautify it, when members haven't seen funds to eat.. I call that lack of priority. The bible never told us ro give beggars. Beggars are quite different from the poor. |
Family › Re: Interesting Ways To Please A Nigerian Mother In Law. by ImaIma1(f): 3:54pm On May 21, 2017 |
I just believe in being yourself and using wisdom and not playing games.
Not all men are that attached to their mums that they cannot make a decision and stand by it. If a man's mum keeps influencing his decison, that is a serious problem. That would mean that he's still a child in his mind no matter how macho and mature he looks.
Over the years i have noticed that it is "mostly" the yoraba mums that give plenty wahala and have this strong hold on their sons. They demand so much from the sons like they owe them for their existence. It's just what i have noticed. |

nobleblood: Stop doing that OK! The chauvinist thing only became a bone of contention because you were actually using it way too many time than needed. In my defense I had to respond that way. Am just hardline on how women should be handle. IMaybe the way I was raise formed my perception. I can Never rule that out. Nevertheless I still don't think its a bad way to bring up a child. And aagin I was never abuse. Neither was my mother. Its all part of being in a family. If it end well for you, it also ended well for me. I won't judge the process further.
Are you married to an African man so fluent he speak three different languages? wow Me some more...!
On the screwing men thing
Maybe you misunderstood the context in which I was using that phrase "screwing men" I was actually referring to western culture and homosexual. That we over here find it distasteful however, we respect them enough to respect their laws a and practise. Likewise they should respect ours.
#from attacking celebrity marriages to defending myself. Lord how did I get here. Lol...you got here by constantly responding to me and Hey!!! Women are not to be "handled". Dont get paranoid. I only used the word "chauvinist" once. You are probably mixing me up with someone else. |

nobleblood: Chauvinist..chauvinist. Did you learn that recent. Enough already. Just because you are defending women stance, Does that make you a feminist.
My dad hit my mother yes. My dad still buys her what he can from the abundance of what he has. They've had their moments and are still waxing strong. If I am to define him by that one moment then he will be an abusive man. He Still speak about her in glowing terms with bright smile on his face.
Have you even dated a real African man this one you are doing lady so. I haven't made one feminist comment. Not one. You were the one asking me about "screwing men". Is "chauvinist" such a big word that my learning it today or yesterday has become a bone of contention? I see your background formed your opinion and thinking. My father never hit my mum. Thank God. And i don't believe a man has a right to hit his wife. They have become one. And as long as he doesn't beat himself when he does wrong, he should never beat his wife. What if i told you that i am married to an an african man. So nigerian that he speaks 3 nig languages fluently? What if? |

nobleblood: All I see is someone whos society has stuff with a believe sets. What is it that you don't understand about peoples culture. Yet you claim to be educated. Do I complain when you screw men or don't you you think Other societies frown at it the way you frown at beating a child We do not beat children for no aperent reason rather as a method to correct. Why can't you reason. Its not the same thing as abuse. I didn't claim to be educated. You are the one throwing terms around. I thought we were talking about men hitting their wives. Let's stick to that. A typical male chauvinist comments..."screwing men". Now you have committed the fallacy of hasty generalization. Though you seem to know something about screwing men. Enlighten us please. |
