WORST: UBA!!! such a sh!t bank.
Wrong...gtb customer service staff were trained never to smile. They attend to you but with no single iota of friendliness...just do and go. Maybe their large customer base makes them have this sense of superiority. They need to work on it. It's the same with about 4 branches i deal with

Must everything be made public? We had to see the picture of her doing a CT scan. I think the beating should have been recorded and made public.
These people need to step away from Social media and live their lives. People dont really care what happens. It's just a juicy topic for discussion and debate. The less people know the better for you.
Romance › Re: What A Husband Told His Wife The Night Of Their Wedding by ImaIma1(f): 4:59pm On Apr 29, 2017
stane007:
My wife, everyone has gone home. The music is quiet, the celebration is over. Our wedding was beautiful but it is now in the past. We have finished the wedding/marriage, it is now time to build our marriage. All that is left now is the two of us… What we will become tomorrow, starts from tonight. Our life is no longer the same.

There was a day you put on one red dress… You looked so beautiful in it. That Day I wanted to just touch you! We were in the Cinema and I was so tempted. I wanted to just take you inside the toilet and kiss you but I couldn’t. Guess what? Now I have you forever, I can do that everyday.
Before I take off your cloth and make love to you… let me tell you few things.

I have nothing to hide from you from this day. My phone, you can use it like your own. You can access my facebook, my twitter and my Instagram
From today, I have become a child. For the past five years of my life, I have been a man. I wake myself up in the morning, sometimes I go to bed hungry, I do things the way I want to. I come home whenever I want to but all that ends today. From today you become my mother, who will scold me when I come home late, a mother who will wake me up at six to go work, a mother who will ensure I don’t sleep hungry. I am glad I have a mother in you.

I hope you will be a good mother? Don’t be too harsh and I promise I won’t be too stubborn. Sometimes I will give you headache but I promise, I will also be the cure of every headache.

When my parents died, I looked after my brothers and sisters. I was like a father to them. So i will not have problem being a father to you.
Hope all men wil be as nice as dis. Let treat women like how it was ordained by God. Women are precious, they are of immeasurable value

Has some truth in it.
You get to clean up after them when they get back from work and throw their things around.
Make sure he eats well and healthy.
Wake him up to go shower or else he will lie there in his underwear all night.
Pack his lunch pack for work...

Op is just playing to the nairaland "commenters" that are always talking about ladies and materialism. Everyone seems to ok the write-up.
Some ladies want everything and they want it NOW. I dont believe that a relationship should be receiving on one part. The lady should spend also and give the guy things as well.
This "broke guys" issue seems to be a popular topic here and the guys here are always reacting bitterly. Are most nairaland guys broke? lipsrsealed
Crime › Re: Lagos Landlord Beats Wife To Death And Flees by ImaIma1(f): 1:20pm On Apr 25, 2017
imam07:
Firstly i will condemn the husband from killing his. This is very bad it is not the solution. Husband beating his wife is a devilish behaviour.
Secondly, u see many guys and ladies abusing the man here. Yes he must truelly be condemn. Let the law takes its stand. But what i want to say is women are sometimes genesis of this domestic conflict. It is only men that are married can understand what am trying to explain. There is no married man that wants to beat or molest his wife. All of us pray to have a good wife in order to be happy and have a peaceful home. Don't we know that some women can frustrate life out of their husband. Many of these women change to worse when the husband can no longer provide 4 the family again. We should understand few men can't manage psychological pressure. A Yoruba proverb says 'Ti esisin ba n je elegbo, aye ko nigbo sugbon to elegbo back ti n je esisin, gbogbo aye agbo. Meaning when flies start sucking your wounds, nobody will hear it but when u start killing the flies, all d world will hear and see what u are doing.
All these new generation wives need the training given to our old mothers. This for better for worse, till death do us part they said in church during wedding is just film trick. Many of our wife are just attending church for going sake. Words of God do not reflect in them. We men too have our bad part but i believe a wife makes a good home. She is in charge of the house. Many wives now are days abuse and caurse their husband. A wife that says it will not better 4 her husband that he will die,has she forgotten she she was told during her wedding that her husband is her head. If u abuse him,u abuse yourself and if the head is affected by what u said to him,it will affect u the wife.
Let me tell us this domestic conflict between husband and wife is happening in more than 40% marriages and home. Many men and ladies are not really matured to get married that is why these are happening. Our church and mosque are doing nothing concerning this. You see beautiful faces every Sunday but that beauty doesn't reflect in their character.
Men should stop beating their wife because if anything happens, you don't have any excuse.
No husband will ever attempt to molest or beat a good wife. Many men do not know d worth of a good wife if they have.
No matter how demonic or devilish the wife is, the man has absolutely no right to hit her. In such case he can walk away or leave the marriage because it is also a form on abuse on the man.
Do you beat your fellow men or friends whdn they frustrate or annoy you? Hitting a woman should never ever be an option.

I disagree. In a more ideal environment where things are done according to standard and welfare of the citizens, things like this just dont happen. Tankers don't just kill people or fall off the bridge, etc.
Our shabby way of doing things has got us here. Lack of maintenance culture, no value for human life, greed, corruption, cutting corners...this is it.

Gaddafithe2nd:
Since Islam permits muslim men to marry christian or jewish women, I don't see anything bad in what Musa did. Our muslim ladies/women are now self centred. Ask 10 muslim ladies this question, 'Would you allow your husband to marry another wife?'. 8-9 of them will go against it, some will tell you they will hypnotise their husband or kill him. Our muslim ladies/women should follow what Allah says in the Quran and stop being selfish.
And they say this Allah is the same God Christians worship. How can this be even remotely possible?

A lot of Nigerian women like deceiving themselves. It is a Nigerian thing and not necessarily a muslim thing. The only difference is that Nigerian muslims make it official. The woman that became a christian because she doesnt want to be a second wife is deceiving herself. The men that don't carry second wives have BILLIONS of GIRLFRIENDS. Unless you marry JESUS, you are on a long thing.
Except you have personally taken the statistics and have come to the exact conclusion that every man cheats in his marriage, if not, speak for yourself alone

Don't be silly. What did she suffer and endure? This kind of useless mentality makes me very angry. So he shouldn't marry a second wife if he so desires - a privilege that his culture and religion entitles him to?

Let the ungrateful and deluded wife go and suffer and endure to make her own money, or to marry another premiership footballer, if it is that easy. She wants to be the solo madam to enjoy all the thousands of pounds that enter every week all alone - because she is the one that helped him get the contract or that empowers him to train and perform on the pitch abi?

Bloody parasites and hopelessly deluded creatures.

this a foolish right up... relationship decision doesnt rest with a man if u want to settle with a woman there is a chance she may not want to settle with u. There are a lot of this women that use men and yet claim to be victims. Women are deceptive creatures. If u have money today and u marry a woman since money is an essential factor, can we now say that u divorce immediately if money goes away since the present world today it is only money that seems to matter to a woman
Just as there are deceptive women, there are also good and sincere ones...focus on those ones.
Money is essential for everything not just for getting a woman. You need money to eat, dont you?

you can't achieve this when the rich who got there didn't work hard. The problem is the gap between the poor and the rich and if hardwork was what it took them to get there, there wouldn't be a wide gap like this. When you ask this same rich people they will tell you "Na God o". No one will even tell you it's hardwork to encourage anyone. The problem is quite complicated.
Not everyone you ask will sit you down and start telling you all the details of how they became rich. One that is serious will push further and study how the person achieved it. The rich ones that didn't work hard for it were probably born into it. Whatever the case, everyone has a plan to make money; some legitimately but some...

I have been driving for nine years now and like to think I am good at driving. I also travel long distances too when the need arises with my maximum speed so far at 140km/hr.

But then again, most men don't agree that women can be pretty good drivers starting with my hubby who had to engage the services of an escort to be with me while I drive myself to and fro from Anambra to benin yesterday.

I just like to know what most men think. Have you ever seen a good driver that is a female?

If so, share your experiences please.
I have been driving for about 3yrs and my car is a manual as in stick...not the cruising automatic that u just put on drive. I check for oil...water...etc and service it often to avoid breaking down. But when it does and i can't figure out the problem on my own, i call the mechanic. I can say i am a good driver.

Pre eclampsia is responsible for 40-60% of deaths in developing countries and post partum eclampsia is even worse and almost always leads to death even with intervention and here you are blaming doctors and nurses. Worse still she was having twins making it a far far terrible case than normal.I feel the doctors would have told you initially that they had a very bad case with which anything could happen.

Without even listening to the hospitals side of the story and from your account, you were negligent at some point. If you feel inclined, kindly sue the hospital instead of maligning them.

Nigerians are the most hateful and unhappy people on earth despite any prior study. Now I understand the dynamics of jungle justice and how it thrives even on the internet.
Some of these doctors feel insulted when you are asking them questions. People feel like gods in their area of authority or experstise. Imagine me doing a scan and the attendant there refused to answer any questions at all. It was as if I was pestering him. He just told me to call in the next person. I fear govt hospitals. Even the very big gbagada general told us to come back the next day before 12 if we want to see a doctor. They try.
However i have met a nurse in LUTH that is so kind hearted and does a good job that when she was seriously sick, people rallied round for her and the much love she showed to people paid off.
God for us all

That's the problem. It is very worrying no one sees how far reaching this issue is. I find it disturbing that anyone including this third rate "journalist" can be arrested on trumped up charges or hearsay evidence and then remanded for an undisclosed term. It can happen to anyone. The allegations are spurious and her arrest serves no purpose. As much as I don't pay her any attention, we have much more pressing matters as a nation than a pastor whose "feelings" have been hurt by some crackpot bloggist. Our senators and politicians are robbing us blind and they are walking free as a bird. Criticize them and see yourself being arrested too for 'cybercrime' too.
Yes we have more pressing issues. But answer this question...did she commit an offence that is punishable by the law?
