Oluwasaeon:Pride?? Be reasonable here. Why should she cook on the first date? The guy obviously sees her as a help. The first day she is invited to hus house to cook for him and his friends. Next time he will say his toilet is dirty. That is how she will be slaving for him and his friends will be calling her "our wife" and he will end up marrying someone who does not do half of what she does. Most guys here seem to have one kind village mentality. When a woman refuses to be walked over, you say it is feminism or pride. So women should be fools. |
Choise:He should learn to mind his business. Must he talk? |
Nigerians need to chill on SM. They carry things on their head. ..even things that the owner of the matter doesn't even care about. If tomorrow Bovi says he is giving out 50k each to 5 people, the same people will start begging with their destiny and lineage. |
Boldtrust:Off course not. Both sentences are independent. |
sukkot:Epic crap! |
Boldtrust:So much whinning from men. Men seem to be dominating NL |
It is true that we also have abusive women in relationships who are even physically abusive aside from emotionally abusive. And the poster should have acknowledged it in the write up. But how many men have been reported dead as a result of domestic violence? |
YelloweWest:Look at Lilian Esoro for instance. Till today she hasn't said anything publicly. Only to the people that matter. There are other celebs that have gone through problems but dealt with it privately. Mercy is moving out of the house...she posts a bideo of it. She goess for a scan and makes it public. She is giving too much information to get public sympathy |
YelloweWest:I don't think Mercy is being blamed for that. The issue is her reporting everything to SM. |
Some people will come and justify the beating by blaming women. That is why it is best to walk away. Now nobody will ask whether she attacked him first or insulted him and his kinsmen. He hit her and she died. End of story! |
They were calling themselves Pirates but were caught during an initiation ceremony. |
Icon4s:Secondary school in Ibadan |
This cult wahala happened in.my school years back like 1998. And it was a school in the west. So Afonjas back off!! |
I don't think watching porn is a trivial thing as you guys make it sound. Seems like it's only the guys adivsing here and you guys believe watching porn is normal?? Secondly, buying cheap items for the wedding list doesn't speak too well about the guy and his family. They themselves agreed that the things they bought were cheap. At least some things should be of good quality. It takes two to tango in a relationship and the lady or guy cannot do all the work. It is obvious that the guy is not what she needs. There are better and more reasonable guys out there and not one that cannot deal with simple issues. Poster pls move on and do not get involved in this donkey years dating. |
mayorjosh:Happy birthday. May your heart desires be granted. We may children are special...wink |
Mostly for show off and to be termed as distinct. During NYSC, one guy introduced himself as Pharmacist Frank to impress a babe and she too gave her name as Engineer Ann. Stupidity. I always give my first name...married or single, I still have my identity. Let me see the person that will call me mama this or mummy that..lol |
FromZeroToHero:Very good point you have. We have to take the things of God seriously. Though i think some churches line up activities that just seem time wasting. And the attention span of people can just be cut off and they dont get the message especially when it is too long and never ending. |
Wow!! What a brilliant mind. I doubt it has anything to do with luck but rather hardwork and a busy mind. I knew this guy as an actor. I pray the 200m commitment is given. |
malton:If he went to America or one country in the abroad, it won't be suspicious for him to take "too many" pictures. |
PapiSmith:You described Bisola not TTT |
2dugged:Now it is two agbayas trying to get sympathy from faceless people |
Adesuwa and Banky have become role models over night setting the relationship goals. Your relationship/marriage is what you make it. If you live to impress or to be happy is your choice. But i know too much exposure will cause more harm than good. |
From what i am reading here...that means Osogbo was heaven. The camp was said to the one of the best then. I taught in a public school and the government paid 3500 monthly...over 5yrs back though. We might not be entitled to anything from the state but i believe that funds are made available for corpers but are diverted along the way. |
pesinfada:I will quote you as much as i want to. Why are you quoting me ??Graduates still get jobs especially if they are employable. |
Proof* |
pesinfada:Speak for yourself and stop discouraging people with your "thy is no job". The fact that you have not been able to secure a job is not prove that there is no job. |
pesinfada:So the jobs that are eventually secured are thrown down from heaven? It is people that employ not organizations. People still work into companies and get jobs without knowing anyone. I once crashed a bank test and since i passed, i was given the job. I have never believed that there are NO JOBS and so i always get them where others believe they don't exist. Maybe you need to change your mindset. |
ezewealth:It does. It cannot rape "it's" mother |
lezz:How can you be so insensitive and trivialize the act of rape? |
alozie27:Would rather stay in a 1room self contain in surulere than stay in a 4 bedroom duplex in ikorodu. |
Getting a job is not impossible. Most of the people telling you that there are no jobs anywhere have jobs. How did they get it? Dont set your mind to believe there are no jobs. You already said "only teaching jobs". The best way to get a job is through referrals. Do not be a quiet person. Tell people around you...uncles, friendss, neighbours, etc that you are searching. ..no forming. My next door neighbour told me she was searching and i saw something that suited her and she got the job. Most of the jobs i did were through friends and family applying for me and telling people on my behalf. I think it is better you don't just jump straight to master's without work experience especially in a Nigerian uni. My school mate did master's immediately after service. She ended up working in her mum's restaurant for a long time because she couldn't get a job. And so many others. Even some that travelled for master's and came back. Doing master's is not automatic job security. At the same time, it is not wasted. Networking as the other poster said is very important. Let people know. And there's a job group on Telegram that they post jobs daily and the success rate of getting jobs is quite impressive. Good luck |
