CharisEleos: Now, mind you, in my my entire write-up, I kept emphasizing on the need to marry a true born again. It shouldn't just be one sided but both must be genuinely born again and not based on pastors testimony of them but God's through conviction.
So, If she had married a true Christian, such wouldn't have happened. A real born again will not raise his hand on his wife in the first place and vice versa. People change. And that true Christian is a human being that could fall to his flesh. As long as that person is not not God, anything is possible. A pastor that was considered a "true Christian" killed his wife. There are so many wolves in sheep clothing. And unfortunately, there's no instrument or test to determine that someone is truly a Christian. Some people who are just casual Christians even have more morals and conscience than those that claim to be real Christians. |

CharisEleos: Many are not true Christians but church goers. so dont get it twisted.
A true born again who understands and sees marriage from Gods own perspective will never consider divorce no matter the challenges.
Marry a true born again Christian. Not a church goer. Na Dem full church today. This kind of advise/comment has left a lady in a wheelchair while her husband that put her there has relocated abroad and remarried. The pastor that advised her to stay because divorce is not an option for Christians is healthy and at home with family. But the woman has been taken to the village since there's no one to keep taking care of her in Lag. She could have saved herself and left the marriage but she listened to advice like this. |

haslaw: Why should I read about it when I am not a medical doctor and I don't hope to be one.
You on the other hand is not a medical doctor but ignorantly and foolishly giving out dangerous information on what you know nothing about. How does having a baby makes you an authority in medicine. You must be the most dangerous_daft human being in the world.
You are no deferent from those killer doctors that have been jailed by the government and you and your quark doctors will soon fine yourself behind bars. You are not a MD and don't hope to be one. So where did you get your facts from? Which authority have I proven? I have never even been through labour but I know it's possible. The person that you were twinning with that categorically stated that it's a big lie, did you caution him? No. Why? You just carry ignorance about disguising to be smart. Meanwhile, no single knowledge of what you are saying. |

Whiteshield: You are not a professional, you are not even qualified to be a quack. At best, you're a discharged patient. How a patient managed to be an authority in medical matters sounds funny. Wherever you has your kid is your private business, that one doesn't concern me. Whatever you learnt or experienced there is not my concern and it is not conclusive
I'm telling you from a position of knowledge that no qualified medical personnel will watch a woman labour for 4 days. And you that categorically said it's a big lie, are you a professional, quack, authority or at best even had a child? No |

Bekind123: Don't argue with them any more. No doctor will force you into using CS for your delivery when you Don't have any complication. I do post date but won't allow them to induce me, even when they suggest it for me. And this people here are concluding for those with the experience. Is that not funny. Don't mind them. It doesn't mean that going through 4 days of labour is the best thing to do especially against the doctor's advice, but it happens. The people here are just concluding that it cannot happen based on their level of ignorance. They don't think it's right doesn't mean it doesn't happen. |

I was rushed in for a CS that morning because the baby's heartbeat dropped. As you said, if the baby is doing fine, they don't have to rush especially according to the parent's wish. |

Lxgking: You have heard about and had Braxton Hicks good for you and I believe you now know what real labour( what is normal labour and how long should it last ?) is good for you also...
But have you now understood what "false labour is"
Also check prolonged labour and come back to me again, let me be direct your learning for proper enlightenment ma. You are just beating about the bush. The bottomline is that a woman can labour for 4 days...real labour. That is the crux of the matter. No point arguing further. |

Lxgking: Don't talk what you have no knowledge of.... Whiteshield has cleared the air on the facts and you are still arguing....... What do you understand by false labour, go and browse it and quote me if you understand it. False labour...you mean Braxton hicks? They usually send the woman back. I had Braxton hicks twice and both times I wasn't admitted to go into labour because it wasn't the real labour. We are talking about real labour where the woman is dilating but slowly. |

Whiteshield: Okay then, show is Jehovah's witnesses who Labour for half a week in standard hospitals, show us. You people will pack yourselves in abbatoirs called hospitals and use the nonchalance of the medical personnel there to judge the excellent standards of proper medical institutions.
Madam, if you go to a good hospital, you won't labour for 3 days. Sweetheart don't be ignorant. A doctor cannot force a mum to opt for CS. The best they will do is let you know the condition of the baby. They can make the husband sign that it's their choice to wait for a normal delivery or refer them elsewhere. |

Bekind123: why can't you just believe. Are you gynacologist or a mother. Is not everybody that wants a doctor's blade on their body especially the scars that come with it. Too many Thomases without any fact, 1st person or 2nd person experience to back up the comment. Someone just come up and say it's a big fat lie like he/she works in a labour room. |
TV/Movies › Re: Bbnaija: I Was In Labour For Four Days – Jackie B by ImaIma1(f): 12:42pm On Aug 19, 2021 |
Whiteshield: When you had your own baby, you spent half a week in labour, abi? The fact that you've had a baby doesn't make you an authority on childbirth. Afterall, even those with mental issues also give birth to children.
Childbirth is not Olympics that you'll be doing it for 48 hours not to talk about 4 days.
If the labour is prolonged, the mother loses energy. If energy is lost, the mother becomes weak. If the mother becomes weak, she can't push. If she can't push, both mother and child are at risk. For you to blatantly say it is a lie should mean that you are an authority on the matter. Me that I have been through childbirth and didn't go through labour doesn't mean I will boldly say it's not possible because mine wasn't. Besides, me that I even have a little experience didn't claim authority on the topic lije I represent all the women that have put to bed. |

haslaw: Quit going to quack doctors. You should only have strong opinion on issues you know something about. Not to just come and say big fat lie for something you have absolutely no knowledge about. Pick up your phone and call your non "quack" doctor, let him/her throw some light on the topic. |
TV/Movies › Re: Bbnaija: I Was In Labour For Four Days – Jackie B by ImaIma1(f): 12:16pm On Aug 19, 2021 |
Whiteshield: Big, fat lie. No medical doctor will allow a patient linger in labour for a day not to talk of 4 days. Jackie B's mother is Senator Grace Bent, her father is retired General. So, she has access to topnotch medical care and not some Ewurejoba Medical Centre. She is trying to draw sympathy from female viewers but this lie is senseless. Have you had a baby before? Are you in the medical field or work in a hospital? As long as the baby is not in any danger throughout that period and the mother doesn't want to opt for CS, it can happen. Besides, I know mothers who were in labour for days. |

Even their teachers must be very sound. What tripped me was that every class has a french teacher, so the students are bilingual. And since it's a Montessori, they are taught individually according to their pace. |

Family › Re: Why The Attack On Feminism?(a Feminist Perspective) by ImaIma1(f): 8:29pm On Aug 18, 2021 |
The kind of feminism we see here is SINGLE ladies with animosity towards men. They rubbish the main aim of the feminism movement. They act like heartbroken and bitter people, always ready to spew and pounce on negativity about men.
They are at the fore front of the "men are scum" association. It's about hating men; usually very toxic in nature. Just recently a popular "men are scum" leader and feminist (Bianze) got married and it raised a lot of eyebrows.
These class of feminists are quick to denounce feminism when they finally find a man that scatters their brains with love.
Feminism is much more and very different from all of this, but that's what we get here. |
