Being brainy is not the same as doing tedious jobs. Branch Manager's work is brains, not necessarily physically tedious. It's more of mental work.

Former Diamond bank had mostly ladies in their bulk room in my branches.

Branch Manager is not just mental. It's physical too. You have to visit customers around to try and seal deals. You go with your account officers and DSAs for storms (mass.marketing). Even the mental aspect is tasking.

There are so many jobs that women take up these days and compete with their male counterparts.

I have a friend that is into renting out and selling of generators. She's called the generator girl. She handles all those industrial gens so well. Women are not sitting back at all these days.

Na wa o. Someone will be cheating and still moaning loudly...the audacity!

Same thing happens in professional organizations too. Women are giving less daunting activities. That's why most people in the BULK room in banks are men because the work is very tedious while the customer care in the banks are more of women.

I disagree, especially with your example. Women also do tedious jobs. I worked in a bank for years and we usually had mostly ladies in our bulk room and as tellers.

The way they count money with expertise was very impressive. Even all the cash officers that worked there were ladies. The branch operations managers that worked in that branch while I was there were 4 ladies and 2 guys.

Don't underestimate women. Out of 4 female branch ops managers, 3 were spectacular while one was nothing to write home about.

If it's banks, gender doesn't count. From Account Officers to DSAs to tellers, everyone is expected meet their target without concession.

That would mean applying for Direct service which is usually a 6months programme, since you already have a degree.

It's quite competitive to get in. Because, I knew then that it was 4 people per state. Starts with about 16 candidates and narrows down after the tests. Your course of study would apply, if it's something that is hot cake and not very common.

The assessment is quite tough. They check you medically/physically (you come in with only your briefs and they check every single thing even to the number of your balls). The educational assessment is in front of a group of generals and they will ask you questions from your course of study.

The last is the fitness test. You are to run 3.2km in about 5 or 10mins (I don't quite remember).

Same applies to men. The standards apply for both sexes. Men also have horrible pasts that they guide with their lives. If they disclose, no woman might agree to marry them.

I need your sincere advice on my present situation.
Please ignore any grammatical error or punctuation. I’m the first son of my family, my father is an average Nigerian trader, he single handedly sponsored my schooling from nursery to higher institution.

After my service year, one of his friends scammed him of 300k in the name of they will get me a job in NUPENG before he paid that money I told him my pastor’s revelation about the NUPENG job, which my pastor said She does not like the job and shared ill references associated to the job with me and I told my dad when I got home, he countered and rebuked the revelation, he doesn’t take any of our advice, he finally fell for the scam.

To cut the long story short, I’m now working class that earn 75k monthly, however I’m still squatting with a friend and I’m still struggling to survive.

Recently I received a call from my dad, he told me he needs 500k for trading, that he wants me to take loan on his behalf he will be paying the debt once it’s due, since he is yet to complete the outstanding loan he took from the same bank, which is remaining 3 months to complete. I later discovered he had another debt he’s still servicing (Paying ) of a different bank that is remaining 6 months to complete.
After pondering over it i asked him; what if he defaults what will happen ? he shunned me and said why will I be negative and I politely told him my mind that I cannot help the current issue. Since then he started reporting me to my mum relatives to talk to in order to accept and collect the loan of 500k on his behalf.

Please your advise on this will be helpful.

Don't do it except you have the capacity to repay it on yourown. Because, he will definitely default. It's not being pessimistic, it's just impossible to service 3 loans without defaulting.

And once he defaults, be ready for emotional blackmail and "daddy bullying". Everyone will say that he is your father, he paid your school fees, etc. You will be left to sort yourself out.
