There was a country I don't know when it started When it enjoyed When it declined, And When it ended |
This is unnecessary and deplorable. Selling in this market and buying. They need to visit markets in other parts |
DJperdurabo:Let's look at it this way, These CEOs are powerful and successful. I've worked in a place were i saw successful and powerful people cow to the overall owner, as you rightly said because they are employees. Now i am on my own, I see myself as free, not as rich as they are for now, but free, free from being fired ![]() But seriously, Even CEOs need people to work for them if not they'd lose their success and power. If we are all business owners we would not build anything among other things. We need workers, we work for others and others work for us. Volunteers are not in full employment Public and civil servants work for others Business owners are employers of labour |
For those of us who live in Calabar or have visited, please when you go to Tropicana, visit the museum behind, it's just N200 and it's so worth it. If you are fortunate, you may be given me a movie preview before the tour by a learned curator. What you will see will slap you back to reality. Although we thank God we were not born in that generation, HUMAN BEINGS were For more info also take a boat ride to Twins Ialand or Benin museum or the one in Badagry |

THIS IS A FANTASTIC POST. I CAN TOTALLY RELATE KAZEEM LET THOSE WHO ARE WISE LEARN FROM THIS POST |
Maintenance culture is also key. I went to government school and visited a private hostel and school. As a student you can 'Behind' your corner or room. Some people are not tidy, neat and have non challenge attitude to things that are not theirs. In d private school I visited d hostel, the student repainted her corner to her taste and put ceiling fan and other decorative things. For the private hostel i visited in a public school, the student arranged the room to look almost like a home- homely, cozy and in order. In the public schools i went including during service year, I made the best of the little i had. I had no money or interest in floor carpet, fan or others, but I put d basics (net and light), swept often, put bedsheets and arranged regularly. These pictures show people who are nonchalant and disorganised. |
speckless:We patiently await GIGM side, this is real justice, hearing both sides. |
oz4real83:Many do this glove in hand with insurance companies and some law enforcement agencies Sad |
Edegbe line don do me Ours was not accident but altercation with soldiers. The driver left all of us and we all had to find our way. Up till now they neither called me nor the number of sister i put on their manifest as my next of kin. Because I was in transit i could not go to their office to complain. Peace Mass also did this to a friend. I followed her to complain and up till now no response. Do you know there is a passenger's welfare scheme that is somewhat like an insurance? So people really think that if someone dies in an accident the transport company goes Scott free? Do you know how much airlines pay families of deceased passengers of a plane crash? We have rights, but the typical 'I don care' attitude of Nigerians, coupled with all due respect ignorance, impatience and lack of agitation (civil and media and legal) makes many wrongs swept under the carpet. We are so numb to injustice, failed systems and wickedness that we have accepted them all as 'normal' because this is 'Nigeria' Wake up Nigeria, if you have good roads, light and water without justice, equity and truth, you are still like a slave in Egypt |
Click share or raise your hand if you are tired of Nigerian politics don't worry I go see your hand!!! ![]() |

Austin234:sad really deplorable of his supporters, not that i support SR |
this is an issue of law and morality. dont forget people holding such offices are in a public position to show example and model of true statesmanship. if your neighbour commits adultery and is not know in the public domain no one reports it but a serving senator with a minister wife? we would support this if he was a clergy. dont forget what happened to the like of Bill Clinton and co. #thinkNigerians bad is bad good is good the more you justify, overlook, cover and laugh at sin, the more it will become the norm and celebrated. Then what is the essence of right living? Let Saraki and Dogara and Osinbanjo do so then! Even as a Muslim he is not entitled to zina unless those 2 ladies are his wives. but they cannot be because he already has 3 wives, he cannot have 5. People he signed sharia law for goodness sake! what height of hypocrisy and double standard is this? May God deliver us from temptation and sin in Jesus name, amen. Inspire Motivate Encourage |

why is no one asking why he died in a hospital in Ekiti when his family is based in Warri. Please go to the root cause, location and circumstances. God is in control. heart-felt condolence to his family and friends. |
I bought live chicken yesterday in Sasha market and had to take it to another man to help kill and dress them. I have never killed chicken out of choice not opportunity because I don't like the image or blood (though I donate blood willingly - story for another day) I looked at the man effortlessly slit the necks of the chickens and drain their blood and throw them into hot water to de-feather them. Even though I was looking, my mind began to wander and think about people who effortlessly take the life of humans My dear it is simply heartless and of no conscience. Even though it is no single to kill and eat animals still a couple of us don't like doing it. Not to mention killing another human for whatsoever reason Is it money, fame, revenge, religion, political, relationship matters or what? It is absolutely unimaginable I hail armed forces and people who have license to kill oh I no fit do that kind work All lives are precious- those on death row, those about to kill you and those who are despicable. God will help us, whether you believe it or not. Rest in peace little one, I was probably learning and living safe at 7, but now someone has cut your life short. May your family be comforted and others be protected in Jesus name, amen. ![]() |
Hey NLers how you na day dey go so far? It is fine, things are getting better. Na tunnel, light go dey the end. I usually like watching Ted talks, they are pretty cool. A couple have been organised here in Nigeria. I watched this one recently "Which country does the most good for the world" rendered by Simon Anholt. See the statistics. Do you agree? I'd invite you to watch it and if someone can help attach the youtube link I'm not very good at that yet. Thanks. God bless your life in Jesus name, amen.

Okay i am not a fan of any Mod but i really do not know why snakes take up such a big interest in NL. There are so many other amazing and intriguing animals in this world. Personally my hatred for snakes comes from the fact that it is written and i believe that the Devil came in the form of a snake to tempt Eve to disobey God's instruction. Whether it was apple or not, what many people seem to skip is the fact of 'disobedience' Imagine telling your child not to play with knives or fire and your wicked neighbour comes when you are out to work and tels your child, 'do not mind your mother/father, knives are met for cutting not killing and fire is good for cooking not burning so play with them!' In one hand that wicked neighbour has used half truth to tell\tempt a child to toil with his safety, life and trust for his 1st teachers (his\her parents) Nuff said... below are some questions culled from a book i read many years a go and i do not remember the name or the author. please bear with me, unless someone can help with the reference. just stumbled on where it was typed out. Question 800: Which snake is known for the fact that it eats other snakes? ANS: THE KING COBRA- IT GROWS TO A LENGTH OF UP TO 18 FEET Question 802: which is the largest snake in the world? ANS: RETICULATED PYTHON Question 803: which is the heaviest snake in the world? ANS: ANACONDA Question 805: which snake has 60 to 80 babies, each of which is deadly poisonous? ANS: FER-DE-LANCE Question 808: which of the four common species of snakes found in India does not lay eggs? ANS: VIPER Question 809: what is the extra sense organ in the roof of a snake’s mouth called? ANS: JACOBSON’S EYE Question 813: which is the world’s largest venomous snake? ANS: KING COBRA Question 816: which is the largest known insect in the world? So let us ask for more front page stories about other 'nice' animals, like dogs, dolphins, rabbits, lions, jaguars and even elephant. maybe in another thread or post i will tell you about the beautiful wild life i grew up around, where we saw real life 'jungle animals'!!! Have a blessed week in Jesus name, amen. Inspire, Motivate and Encourage

May he get well soon and completely BUT... whats all these 'may' and speculations? is it sports betting? imagine if a civil servant exceeds his due leave by even a day the kind of wahala im go face as Buhari dey Uk im salary still dey roll oh i wish him good health but Nigeria is not his care taker his medical bills are resting squarely on the shoulders of Nigerians and tax payers who mostly can't even afford medicare in Government owned hospitals not to mention private not to mention abroad i mean... if they can not give a definite date and stick to it let him come like the way he left ![]() PS: God bless our week, in Jesus name, amen. |
i beg wetin concern FRSC for there and Police and NSCDC on top chair matter? meanwhile its a wake call for us all that charity begins at home. its bad that all the wealthy people and in-laws affiliated to Daura and Katsina in general cannot donate simple things- roofs, chairs, water (even if na well- not with big snake oh) or even street lights! ![]() |
ok when NL keeps pushing topics of how people spend money it can be intimidating for those who do not have. it can also make some people idolize both money and the people that keep featuring on FP. people still drool for money. ). have you noticed some people faint, die, run mad and squander money because they do not know what to do with it when they finally have it? why should a man see money and die even if it is billions! are you the first? sick people on sick beds have no such desire- either for money, women, wine, positions or luxury! its a battle of life and death. this shows that there is more to life than money. we do not know the source of many people's money but we elevate, celebrate, push, idolize, mesmerize and talk so much about them. why! how will talkin about e-money, davido, psquare, unpretty mike, mikel obi, ronaldo, bill gates, dangote and the ubahs add money to your pocket or years to our lives. too much of everything is bad. what do we need this news for? to commend him? yes he did well for his club. but if this thread is going to make people curse their family, their jobs, husbands, wives, situations or financial status then i shake my head. rich people did not get to where they are and stay there by cursing themselves and idolizing others. they set goals, some started small, they remained focus, led prudent lives, worked hard and smart, learnt from others and the wise and better ones, relied on God Almighty. i beg NL freeeee us with people and their luxury goods, ways of life and money, many of us who have do not flaunt it cos it is not for flauting but for use. money is a tool, unless you love your hammer, chalk, computer or paint brush ![]() |
