It was a liability issue. Halls in a hotel have crowd limit in case of emergency. You cannot rent a hall of 200 capacity and try to fill it with 300 people. You will be shut down. The manager acted in the best interest of the hotel. Unlike your typical Nigerian eggheads, Oyibo believe in prevention is better than cure. If any accident happened in that event: 1) Mbaise community would sue for damages. 2) The city will come hard on the hotel for violating city ordinances 3). Insurance may not cover them.

The hotel manager deserves accolades.

If only you knew what they said about computer and the mark of the beast when it first came out. Then they ported the scaremongering to the internet. Facebook wasn't left out. Today Christians are the beneficiaries of such wonders.

The good thing is that Christians especially Catholics are not as violent as they used to be during Crusades and Inquisition. The church was more violent and feared than the radical Muslims you hear about these days. Accusations of Apostasy and heresy got many killed.

There are too many responsibilities with minimal benefits. What you can get in marriage, you can get out of marriage these days. All those sacrifices are not even reciprocated at old age. With the proliferation of simps and effeminate men, the future looks bleak.

Because of the extreme poverty in our land, we see life as a toy. When people see developed nations, all they see are the nice buildings and good amenities. They fail to recognize the hard work input it took to create such environment.

I think only USA requires foreign trained doctors to repeat residency if u are a foreign trained specialist. I'm not sure this makes lots of sense especially if the foreign doctor is coming from a country with advanced healthcare system.
However, the biggest hurdle for most IMG remain USMLE, its a tedious exam that requires at least 2 years of solid preparation and intense hard work, and u still not guaranteed a residency slot.
