/ Nigerians copy things blindly without due diligence. In the country, there are about 80% silly people who have nothing to lose and 20% normal people. USA was founded in 1776 and it was only in 1965 that everyone had the right to vote. There were some requirements to vote including being a citizen, white male, owning a property, not being Jewish nor Catholic, etc. One can argue for or against such discriminatory practices. But for more than a century, that was the foundation of "Democracy". As long as democracy in Nigeria gives the same right to a man in Angwan Rogo who has no vested interested in Nigeria and an industrialist who has businesses in Nigeria, it is bound to fail as it is. How can a professor in UnIlorin has the same voting right with a cattle herder in Adamawa who can't even say the National Pledge even if his life depends on it? Wanna talk about the wasteful bicameral legislature we have? Nigeria is a poor man copying the lifestyle of a billionaire. That's why the country is heading to abyss in a hand basket. / |
/ Tinubu forgets that he will be back in UK or France soon for medical treatments. All they need to do is arm-twist the doctor to put him under anesthesia and play with his blokos--whatever that means. Abiola didn't recover from the tea drank. / |
/ They had the opportunity to for vote progress but they voted along ethnic and religious lines. This is just a month in office and wailing has started .Possibly another 47 months to go. I am loving this. After una dance for campaign ground finish. After una boast of crowds in campaign ground. Una never see anything sef ![]() I am reserving my taunts until $ hits N1000 in a few months. / |
/ Student loan debt forgiveness is like asking owners to free their slaves. It is a tough battle. Take away the shackles of huge debts, many citizens will be disobedient. Debt-free is freedom no reasonable government should give to her citizens. Keep them shackled for loyalty. / |
vanitybutiwanti:/ How are you doing? That's what matters. Other people no dey chop enter your belle. / |
/ ![]() Who they use him head break coconut no dey follow chop am. ![]() I will be a liar if I told you that I am not enjoying the tragi-comedy. / |
talented321:/ Good. You may be an outlier. Afterall there are always exceptions. But then you are only one in millions. / |
vanitybutiwanti:/ To move in search of green pasture requires ambition. The paltry N50k/month is enough for alcohol and womanizing. So keep enjoying your "wailing". / |
LOVEALAIGBO:/ Ken Saro Wiwa thought Igbo people were his problem. The Northerners empowered him with political posts for abandoned Igbo properties that he implemented. When he needed life the most, his former flatmate and good friend killed his ass. The rest his history. Karma is real. The day it will be Asari's turn,he will turn and their is nothing to grasp at. / |
talented321:/ Are you fighting poverty or empowering poverty? They kill your aquatic lives, make $ billion and give paltry N50k/month to the youths of the community. For that token you are willing to snatch ballot boxes and kill for them. Then you turn around and cry like victims. Na una dey do unaself. / |
/ Good one! He is man enough with an integrity check to show that he seeks medical attention. Enough of selling olive oil that we use in cooking stew to gullible followers. Stickers don't cure. Pictures don't cure neither does olive oil. Pope just came back from a surgical procedure two weeks ago. Anyone who believes a pastor can cure his or her ailment should save enough money for casket and funeral first. / |
phemmyjohnson:/ In Guangzhou, China they have specific affordable brands and qualities tailored for African market. Once you mention Nigeria, they redirect you to where Nigerian importers source their products. Yes. What they sell mostly in Nigeria are low qualities. / |
/ Take a closer look at the wives of OBJ, Adam Oshiomhole, Ned Nwoko, Gov. Obaseki. Now you know the true answer. Women always do the opposite of what they say in public. Cave ne sedes. / |
/ Most Nigerians are delusional. During campaigns, the gates are always open. Once they win election, they lock the gates and go into seclusion or hibernation. All those who hung around and dined with Tinubu during the campaigns would be shocked to realize that they may not come close to 100 meters from him now that the election is over. Their calls will always go to voicemail unlike pre-election. People will be always be used and dumped./ |
/ What's their business? Nigerians love suffering. So Tinubu is free to tighten the knot as much as he desires. / |
ivolt:/ Let's assume that you are educated. I wonder why you believe that education below Ph.D level is illiteracy. Who has the comprehension problem now? ![]() See! You might have gone to school (that doesn't mean you are educated) but you lack common sense. / |
/ Above 30 is walking on thin ice. Of course there are exceptions. I think that a lady that is truly interested in childbirth should gun for 21-28 (max). At 28, she should be having her last child. Is it doable? Yes! But most ladies at this age concentrate more on materialism than love. They prefer to belong to the street until it is late. But then if they get married early enough, it will be bad business for babalawo, pastors and Shiloh. Ladies are the ones sustaining the miracle/magic industry. / |
/ He should have known that destroying the hopes and aspirations of over 200million people shouldn't come easy. Talk about wasted 8 years. / |
/ Ohaneze has since turned into an elitist organization. Perhaps they should change their name to Eze and dump the Oha part. / |
TemplarLandry:/ True. But when shit hits the fan, you start crying to UN for assistance. During Covid you were bending over to WHO. Pressed to the walls economically, you start looking up to IMF and World Bank for loans. What happened to your sovereignty then? / |
/ Nigeria is a just slave farm and all of you live in it. Once in awhile you offer your opinions online to pretend that your existence is not inconsequential. / |
/ Like I always say...from GEJ, Okezie Ikpeazu to Soludo...all these Ph.D holders should stay in the classrooms. They have no business in government unless political appointments in some parastatals. They think governance is an academic exercise. People want actions not lectures. / |
/ Resilience! That's what's driving the Japanese and the Chinese you see today. Don't think he won't take it the 100th time. A Nigerian will fail JAMB twice and start blaming Tinubu for stealing his pen. / |
/ Lekki is where they goaded well off Nigerians living in Lagos to come and suffer under the guise of upper class. Poor sanitation, no clean water, bad roads, excessive flooding, poor electricity supply...and they expect you to pay millions. Can someone define madness? / |
amadil14:/ Remember that in this era of wokeism, an insecure man has been redefined as a man who knows his rights, stands his ground and refuses to simp to women. If your lady says that you are insecure, that means you are doing everything right as a man. Endeavour to wear the "Insecurity" tag as a badge of honour. The last thing you wanna be called is a "nice man". / |
/ ....And Nigeria is supposed to be a rich country. Debt burden of $5 billion and Nigerians are groaning. We are 10th World country! / |
/ Campaign and grandstanding are over Reality has taken over. / |
peekspot:/ That's a very bold statement. He needs to settle down in office first. If only he understands that "Insecurity" is a multi-billion dollar industry...with internal and international benefactors. / |
/ Every new IGP would usually start with : 1). Withdrawal of VIP police escort services. 2) Dismantling of road blocks. Once the dust settles in less than 2 weeks, the personnel revert to status quo ante. The IGP convoy will be the first to break the directive. / |
/ This issue could be mitigated if workers down tools after 2 months of non-payment. I don't understand how they let it get to 7 months. What's very annoying is that the same workers would troup out en mass to welcome and "hail" Ortom whenever he visited. But as soon as he leaves, they'd start complaining. What's the essence of the State Chapter of NLC? / |
/ Just like the subsidy cabal, there are people (internal and external) profiting from the arbitrage who would do anything to protect their interests including sabotaging CBN policies, effecting acute shortage of forex and outright disregard of protocols to implement CBN policies. Even Jesus Christ will not want to administer the nation called Nigeria. / |
JOHNFBOSCO:/ Concentrate on feeding yourself everyday for now. / |
