PoliticsRe: Jumbo Cost Of Governance: Pmb's Food Budget For Tinubu, Shettima Creates Ripples by InvertedHammer: 8:35am On Jul 03, 2023

Nigerians copy things blindly without due diligence.
In the country, there are about 80% silly people who have nothing to lose and 20% normal people.

USA was founded in 1776 and it was only in 1965 that everyone had the right to vote. There were some requirements to vote including being a citizen, white male, owning a property, not being Jewish nor Catholic, etc. One can argue for or against such discriminatory practices. But for more than a century, that was the foundation of "Democracy".

As long as democracy in Nigeria gives the same right to a man in Angwan Rogo who has no vested interested in Nigeria and an industrialist who has businesses in Nigeria, it is bound to fail as it is. How can a professor in UnIlorin has the same voting right with a cattle herder in Adamawa who can't even say the National Pledge even if his life depends on it?

Wanna talk about the wasteful bicameral legislature we have? Nigeria is a poor man copying the lifestyle of a billionaire. That's why the country is heading to abyss in a hand basket.

Tinubu forgets that he will be back in UK or France soon for medical treatments.

All they need to do is arm-twist the doctor to put him under anesthesia and play with his blokos--whatever that means.

Abiola didn't recover from the tea drank.

Student loan debt forgiveness is like asking owners to free their slaves. It is a tough battle. Take away the shackles of huge debts, many citizens will be disobedient. Debt-free is freedom no reasonable government should give to her citizens. Keep them shackled for loyalty.

Pope just came back from a surgical procedure two weeks ago. Anyone who believes a pastor can cure his or her ailment should save enough money for casket and funeral first.

Most Nigerians are delusional. During campaigns, the gates are always open. Once they win election, they lock the gates and go into seclusion or hibernation.

All those who hung around and dined with Tinubu during the campaigns would be shocked to realize that they may not come close to 100 meters from him now that the election is over. grin grin Their calls will always go to voicemail unlike pre-election. People will be always be used and dumped.

You are one of the symptoms of under-education, if you could read and comprehend
you won't make this nonsensical argument.
Imagine linking non-payment of 100 million naira fund for an experimental project with
state-wide poverty?

BTW, how far did your NEPA bill Buhari fare?
He obviously doesn't belong in the classroom.
What about the semi-literate military administrators that were in charge for decades?

Illiterates have no business in government at any level, the only thing they are good at is subverting
the will of the electorates through violence.
/

Let's assume that you are educated.

I wonder why you believe that education below Ph.D level is illiteracy. Who has the comprehension problem now? grin
See! You might have gone to school (that doesn't mean you are educated) but you lack common sense.

HealthRe: The Best Age For Women To Have A Baby REVEALED by InvertedHammer: 3:14pm On Jun 28, 2023
/

Above 30 is walking on thin ice.

Of course there are exceptions. I think that a lady that is truly interested in childbirth should gun for 21-28 (max). At 28, she should be having her last child. Is it doable? Yes! But most ladies at this age concentrate more on materialism than love. They prefer to belong to the street until it is late. But then if they get married early enough, it will be bad business for babalawo, pastors and Shiloh. Ladies are the ones sustaining the miracle/magic industry.

But when shit hits the fan, you start crying to UN for assistance. During Covid you were bending over to WHO. Pressed to the walls economically, you start looking up to IMF and World Bank for loans. What happened to your sovereignty then?

FamilyRe: Wife Sister Naming Her Baby After My Wife Ex Boyfriend by InvertedHammer: 8:20pm On Jun 27, 2023
amadil14:
Good day all,
I met my wife 4years ago, before we got married she told me that she has a boyfriend and she do call him pet name as ( MAJESTY) and I do see it wen ever he calls her not until our relationship became strong and we eventually got married.
However, before we got married my wife changed her sim card entirely and even till today I have never witness any strange number call her and we have been happily marriage.

Not until last week, my wife older sister gave birth to a baby girl and we both went to visit her and the baby with gifts. Infact my wife took along with her so many things in our house including baby baff my mum bought for her wen she put to birth.

My worry now is that, my wife sister named her daughter after my wife ex boyfriend and that has been disturbing me because the name still rings in my memory and I'm yet to know why among so many names on earth why I'll she chose (MAJESTY) as a name for her new born?

Note: this my wife sister is not yet married, she just got pregnant for a married man even as I write, the married is claimed to have traveled to London.

Please ur kind advice is highly needed.

Thank.

Remember that in this era of wokeism, an insecure man has been redefined as a man who knows his rights, stands his ground and refuses to simp to women.

If your lady says that you are insecure, that means you are doing everything right as a man. Endeavour to wear the "Insecurity" tag as a badge of honour. The last thing you wanna be called is a "nice man".

Once the dust settles in less than 2 weeks, the personnel revert to status quo ante. The IGP convoy will be the first to break the directive.

This issue could be mitigated if workers down tools after 2 months of non-payment. I don't understand how they let it get to 7 months.

What's very annoying is that the same workers would troup out en mass to welcome and "hail" Ortom whenever he visited. But as soon as he leaves, they'd start complaining.

CareerRe: N75,000 Monthly Take Home Salary, How Much Should I Be Saving by InvertedHammer: 2:53pm On Jun 26, 2023
JOHNFBOSCO:
Good day Nairalanders. I Recently got this job, after several attempts of applying both online and offline. My monthly salary is average #75,000 per month, I used the word "Average" because its not static. Sometimes it could lower, as low as 60,000 and hardly surpass 90,000...so it's a commission work.

And we all know commission work is not reliable, you could be fired anytime. So please my question is, with the Nigeria standard of living, couple with the recent economic hardship, so now, the question is how much is ideal to save per month from this Salary.

To and fro from my work place is around 850 per day. We report to office 3  or 4 times in a week sometimes. I noticed that at tmes I even struggled to survive on 60k a month, minus miscellaneous oooo...chai e no easy (p.s. single and I stay alone)
