The Fulani herdsmen should be able to take their cows to anywhere in Nigeria.
...as long as other citizens will continue whining and complaining without putting up any form of resistance. They were attacked last week in Jigawa. I can bet you that you will not be seeing herdsmen loitering up there soon. They only understand one language. The option is clear: Talk to them in the language they understand or keep quiet and bear the menace.
No harm. She should keep looking. But it seems that she has a sense of entitlement. She should know that lawyers or masters degree from UK are a dime a dozen. The essence of traveling abroad should be to stay ahead of the game. My advice for her would be to start a law firm (even if it is a quasi one in a home office) and providence may smile her way.

NigeriaKitchen: Dubai is Not As Rich As UAE Government Portrays On Media - READ THIS Eye Opener with PHOTOS
I know you must have asked this question: how come people in Dubai are so rich? But after reading this article....your perspective of Dubai will change.
Don't get me wrong, Dubai is a big city like every other city; London, New York, Dublin, Tokyo, etc, but Dubai is not just an all-glomor city filled with wealthy people living extraordinary rich life like the UAE government controlled media portrays to the world to attract global tourism and trading, which is what Nigeria needs to learn in order to boost the Nigerian economy and image.
Now read the full report with PHOTO proofs below after the page cut:
Dubai as a Brand has been the brain child of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He has created this aura that Dubai is RICH and that it is happening.
Truth truth however is far from it.
It is EXACTLY like any other country.
The only difference being - whatever is being shown on the Media is totally controlled by the Ministry of Media & Communications - which is the Government.
And they have one and only one Agenda - to keep the image that Dubai, UAE is forever rich.
If you doubt what I have to say - ask yourself - why is it that is absolutely NO POOR person pictured or pictures or news that is talked about openly?
How come recession has never hit Dubai, UAE?
How comes Emirates Airlines is the ONLY airlines IN THE WORLD minting Profits and Profits (with only one year loss so as to give a good reason to cancel the excess orders of over-purchasing Boeing aircrafts) while all other airlines ALL OVER THE WORLD are suffering losses or closing down?
How comes NO ONE hears about the unpaid salaries? Prostitution business? Corporate Racism? Jail Stories in the UAE?
In fact - are you even aware that if you write something about the UAE when in the UAE - you can get jailed & deported ASAP? EVEN IF it is the truth?
DO YOU KNOW that if you EVEN LIKE something on facebook - A Group or comment that speaks negatively about the Country (for example now that UAE has broken ties with QATAR - if you EVEN wear a shirt that supports Qatar or send a message support Qatar - its bye bye for you?)
Don’t get me wrong - I do not hate UAE. But the truth is the truth.
In fact - haven’t you even asked yourself WHY was Burj Dubai’s name changed to Burj Khalifa AT THE DAY OF THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH ONLY - when it was marketed for years and years as Burj Dubai
Simple.
Because Dubai is NOT rich. it ONLY SHOW YOU the mirage that it is rich.
There are Hundreds of Thousands of Horror Stories of Unpaid Salaries, Dishonored Contracts & Massive Debts that no one hears about.
Dubai is just surviving because it shows it has Billions and Billions of Dollars - which is not true.
I know it because I am the second generation of Expats that lived there for 40 years.
Today Dubai is only surviving on charging its expats very high indirect taxes to live, survive and remain in its country.
All the expensive cars, vehicles, parties, lifestyles - is only people living on Credit and showing off to rub shoulders with the whose who.
But the reality is - every single day people are struggling to pay their bills and survive.
You want to know the reality of Dubai - stop seeing what they show you on the media - it is all planned out and well thought off. Most of it is fake, or incomplete or false.
Want proof?
Check what happened to the 99 years visa?
Check what happened to the property bubble?
Check what happened to the World Islands?
Check what happened to Dubai’s Billion Dollar Debt.
And if nothing else…go and visit places like Sonapur (google it if you want)
mrhubby: Hello Doctors in the house. I have a pressing issue that I want the advise of qualified medical practitioners on this great forum on. please, I really need your candid advise on this issue. For the sake of being anonymous, I had to created a new account to post this.
I'm married to the best woman in the world and we are blessed with a baby boy almost 4 years ago. I left the country and didn't return until after 3 years. We are trying to have another baby but it seems not working. We tried everything we could, yet, she cant get pregnant. My wife is very good at calculating her ovulation period and I'm not a 1-minute man either.
Now to what I need the advise on. Since the very first month after I returned, she was having some signs of pregnancy. She gets tired easily, her breasts were tender and each time she wore bra, she complained of discomfort. These are some of the symptoms she had when she was pregnant with our first child. We were happy and waiting on conducting preggy test, hoping for a positive result. Lo and behold, it was negative. We thought maybe it was too early for such test, we did the test again 4 days later, it was still negative. A couple of days later, her menstrual period came. We were devastated but we didn't lose hope.
After her period, we seek a medical advise on how to boost our chances of conceiving and we carried them (advise) out to the letter. Mind you she was still having the symptoms that I described earlier and it even got worse that she started having mild morning sickness. Fast forward, the day she was suppose to see her period came and she didn't see it. We were happy that maybe, God has finally answered our prayer only for her to see blood the following day. The period was heavy and it lasted 7 days, 3 more days than what she normally had. We became worried about the prolonged menstruation and didn't know what to do. Prior to her having the period, for about 3 days, she was having difficulties urinating. Each time she was to urinate, she experiences an excruciating pain inside her vagina for the whole period the urine is coming out and once she's done urinating, the pain stops. It went on like that until the period came and the pains stopped.
Just this month, while the pregnancy symptoms persisted, she had her period again. But this time around, the period was delayed for about 3 days. It came heavy for 2 and half day and then stopped only to return 2 days later with another round of heavy flow which lasted for 1 day. All this period, we kept on carrying out preggy tests, thinking maybe she was pregnant. We just did blood test for pregnancy today and it came out negative as well.
Doctors, please what should we do at this stage?. Its getting out of hand and I just want my wife to be OK. Even if the baby(ies) do(es) not want to come now, all I need right now is to have my wife healthy and confident again.
I know some people will say Nairaland is not a hospital, yes I know but I still want to seek opinion of different people on the issue.
Thanks.
Sorry for the epistle and please pardon my blunders.
FortuneTeller: If I have access to my sister's car and I take it to go to the store, that is stealing. Even if I intend to bring it back, I did not get her permission to take her car. That is theft. She has every right to say I stole her car, regardless of my intention. In this situation it was even more so. He was a student and it was a plane. A plane is not some random automobile, neither did it belong to a friend or family member. What he did was very foolish. I'm not saying he deserved to die, but he definitely had a hand in his demise.

davidif: Wrong It won't have. It would have made you look childish and petulant. Plus it would have been an admission of guilt on your part and they would have laughed at you instead. When people resort to insults it means that they you have lost your arguement and cant think of anything else hence the personal attacks. Or simply that you are clouded by yiur emotions and cant ghink straight. Most countries are not like Nigerians that like to pride themselves in being able insult people. Personal insults and name calling are seen as childish and infantile that adults should not be participating in. In other words, people won't really take you serious you would just be seen as the angry guy or the raging lunatic to some. If you want to rebut someone's points. Do your research and present facts with sources and don't resort to name calling.
What is the difference between Yahweh and Amadioha? Nothing, they are both gods.
What is the difference between the speaking in tongues of a “born again” Christian and the incantations of a Juju worshipper? Nothing! They both speak gibberish in the name of talking to gods.
What is the difference between the sacrificial rituals in the bible and the sacrificial ritual of the African traditional worshipper? Nothing. They are both rituals.
What is the difference between the Pope’s regalia and the Juju priest's regalia? Nothing, except the Pope's regalia shines more.
What is difference between the statues, symbols, altars, and signs in churches and the idols and symbols in the temple of the juju priest? Nothing.
What is the difference between a pastor casting out demons and evil spirits with swearing, binding/casting and the exorcism of evil spirit by the Juju priest? Nothing.
There is only one difference - packaging! No religion is superior to another. Foreign religion appears to be more divine than our local religion simply because they are well packaged.
Force me to choose one of the two, I like the fans of Amadioha more. At least I know our politicians fear him more. [/b]

You forgot to mention that it is the same reason oyibo technicians are respected in Nigeria more than seasoned Nigerian professionals. The key rule in Nigeria is: Anything foreign is always better. /
