I can see some fake users up there lying for pennies. Many Abuja landlords have become tenants due to constant raid of their estates by bandits. |
Fake story as usual. Only you was robbed as an evangelist. Wants to divorce your wife Your life is in danger because of debt and You also wanted to commit suicide. Now, your latest problem is your neighbors wife. Tell your imaginary wife and neighbor's that you need urgent mental healthcare. |
Fake story as usual. Only you was robbed as an evangelist. Wants to divorce your wife |
hmm |
Ruggedniggaone:Then Tinubu should be happy right? Well, going by the attacks from his media team, Tinubu doesn't share your enthusiasm. The truth is that both Tinubu and Atiku feels threatened because he has introduced uncertainty into the election. |
Desusi:It is a fake story. I just went through his post history. He has no wife! |
udede: udede:Fake story. You are not married. I am not even sure you have a girlfriend. Some suckers will of course fall for your gimmicks. |
OriOko88:Only Iran did. |
OriOko88:Don't you know Iran and Saudi are separate countries? |
Prince111111:How many people does it take to knock down a billboard? |
ibinaboonline:Stop responding to these toxic boys. Most are immature teenagers playing alpha online. As to the ring size. Does she currently use ring? Then you can secretly get the size. You can also ask her friend if she has a close one. Also, you can take another girl with similar size as your girlfriend to a jewelery store. |
mach7:Typical! I didn't properly vet your moniker. |
mach7:Can you remind me how many TV stations we have in Lagos alone? Is it a crime for a jittery politician to refuse an Arise interview? |
Says APC women leader. If you don't want to be questioned, don't accept or request for live interview. One delusional and selfish general was reported to have denied any form of insecurity going on in the country because he and the people he knows are safe. As time goes on, Nigerians will start seeing great value in adversarial journalism because it is the only means of exposing mediocre, illogical and incompetent personalties. |
MDM2021:How is this relevant to my post? You need relearn comprehension. |
DroppingLiquid:You are confusing yourself. Wealth and fame are not mutually exclusive. You claimed it is here that they treat rich people like god(which by the way is an exaggeration). I countered by pointing out that rich people have influence everywhere they live. Then you now change the topic to fame because I used Gates and Zuckerberg. Okay any unnamed wealthy man is treated like a god by those who know them to be wealthy. Are you satisfied now? A billionaire from Anambra will not be treated any differently than an average person in a shopping mall in Lagos for obvious reason. While the same man could command huge respect in his hometown. |
Parachoko:The attackers weren't regular kidnappers. They were ISWAP members out to kill. The two issues are unrelated. |
Coldie:False. |
DroppingLiquid:This is pure lie. Rich people carry unequal influence everywhere in the world. Speed darlington is an average man just trying to survive. Gates or Zuckerberg will never be found in a laundromat. They own their own side of an island! |
Mcaccess:I consider anyone asking about "legacy" project as being ignorant of government. Projects are not the primary functions of governor or president. It is unfortunate that the citizens are not so enlightened to realize this truth. To have a fruitful discussion of resource on any particular administration, you need real figure of revenue and how they were spent not "I think" or "some people said". Without the numbers, your words carry zero weight. |
Nonsense. This same VC enjoyed federal subsidies from primary to his post-graduate years. He never complained of low fees then. While he was in office, he admitted a record number of students per session even though he knew the government was broke and fewer students should have been admitted. He didn't care then because he was benefitting. When the federal government wanted to senselessly create new federal universities as political rewards, this VC was one of those lobbying for one of it to be sited in his hometown. He knew then that the government was broke but he didn't care. He never opposed the plan even though it would place more strain on the educational budget. Now that he is out of the system, he can comfortably be objective. I am no fan of almost total government subsidy in universities. But the problem would not have arise in the first place if each university only admitted students they can cater for. If we are to adjust tertiary education system based on current government earnings, various colleges students population may drop by up to 70%. |
LifestyleTonite:Financial power actually matters. It is just like comparing a well todo man's mansions with a civil servant face me I face you. Such comparison makes no sense. Neither Tinubu nor Obi has any "legacy" project(the ones that can dazzle you) within their 8 years of administration. So expect the thread to be very dry. I personally don't consider "legacy" project as important unless they are revenue generating or lowers the cost of governance. |
Jim99:First the headline said "has died, not was killed". Note the difference. If you bothered to read the article. The next byline reads: Security sources in Pakistan and Afghanistan claimed Ayman al-Zawahiri is dead And who claimed he has died, unnamed Afghan and Pakistan sources. Not the Afghan or Pakistan or the US government. Stop being fooled by ambiguos headlines, always check the body. |
Jim99:Stop making false claims. |
BreakingNews21:If you can read, you won't have bothered replying me. Read the headline again: "Re: Jonathan's Government Awarded $1.96bn Kano-Niger Republic Rail Line In 2013" Now try to connect how the link you posted has anything to do with the discussion at hand. Take as much time as you need. |
obailala:Read the headline again: Jonathan's Government Awarded $1.96bn Kano-Niger Republic Rail Line In 2013 BTW, even if Lord Lugard had designed the project himself, a smart person wouldn't consider that an excuse for executing it. It is funny that you think that making vague statements is the same thing as awarding a contract and applying for loans. In your world, our current financial system will not exist. Unfortunately, I cannot help you any further if you can't grasp the obvious difference. |
ArewaNorth: ![]() It is now obvious you know nothing about business and procurement contracts or governance. |
obailala:Wrong comparison. We "hope" to link the rail line to Niamey in Niger Republic. That is the exact quote. Which means no plan, study or anything os substance was done regarding the "awarded" project. Jonathan did nothing to further the "hope". Buhari already applied for loans, it is China that delayed because they are not sure we can pay back. Now, the government is aggressively looking for other sources of funding, have awarded contracts and have begun preliminary work. https://punchng.com/contractors-begin-preliminary-work-on-1-9bn-kano-niger-republic-rail-line/ https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/12/kano-maradi-corridor-amaechi-meets-german-financing-advisory/ You can now see why the comparison makes no sense. |
ArewaNorth:Agreed with who? If you don't know or understand governance you'll never understand how sensitive agreements are.If you understand governance, you will know the difference between mere talk, promises, agreement and enforceable business contracts. This are the kind of agreements our clueless leaders have been signing including P&ID by GEJ's administration, Mambila Power Plant by OBJThere are actual document relating to P&ID and Mambila. Where are those for the Niger rail line and which companies were involved? This same mess will happen with numerous rail line projects among others Nigeria signed with China if our next President is stupidDon't muddle the water, Nigeria took loan from China under some terms of repayment. There is no "mess" involved, either we pay as agreed or they take over what they have built. All these talk are unnecessary. Just bring out the evidence of contract documents signed in 2013 for $1.96 billion dollar rail to Niger. |
Another "Jonathan made me do it" Fake news. Nowhere in that article was a contract awarded. The deceptive OP even added the "$1.96 billion" phantom cost for a project that was never officially considered. If you think I am wrong, kindly provide the contract documents, the companies involved and the budgetary allocation. |
That was his plan all along. He needed the article to play the victim. |
