Taciturn1: Good question again. Government may be obliged to subsidize the cost of replacement, but not necessarily. The cost per gallon of LPG is lower than petrol by about 50%, but the fuel economy is about 20% lower than petrol. Meaning autogas will be cheaper and will almost equal the mileage of petrol
The main short term challenge is with long distance interstate travellers, since only NNPC megasations will have the autogas stations at the initial phase of the programme. great reply from you again as you said its much more cheaper. Is this autogas the same like the one we use for cooking at home. More so, can 12kg of it take me from Lagos to the East with my ml350? That means we will not be importing fuel in large quantity again. Bless you u guy |

Taciturn1: Well, good question, but at the moment we import all our petrol since refineries aren't currently operating. So if we achieve widespread conversion to autogas fuel, we won't have to import much petrol, thereby reducing our need for foreign currency for fuel and channel the dollars to other products import.
Autogas is fully processed in Nigeria by our various gas processing plants in the delta region.
And yeah, it is more economical and more environmentally friendly too. great for prompt reply bro. but don't you think also that majority of car owners won't buy this idea because if you check the price of converting your car from fuel to gas, don't you think the price will be killing? because our automatics will use that opportunity to cut the throats of car owners. my opinion though |

Nairaland General › Re: What's The Worst Thing You Ever Did Under The Influence Of Alcohol? by jacoik(m): 8:36pm On Aug 28, 2020 |
Larryhoover: I went to a birthday party with 2 friends in 2009, we got drunk on Napoleon and boom the drama started after 20mins. I first dropped the Napoleon bottle on the floor and it broke and a friend later asked of the remaining Napoleon and I was showing him my empty hand as if I was still holding the drink. After about 10mins I left with my 2 friends to go home, there was no bike or taxi so we had to trek for about 3km. On our way home a friend got to the main express and slept on it that we had to pull him up and plead that we were not yet at home and we had to hold him closely so that he won't insist again while on our way. My house back then used to be a lion's den and you dare not come back home late but on getting home we banged the gate as if we wanted to bring it down and at some point the Gateman got scared and opened the door with fear. Truly alcohol is a bitch.
Thereafter my Uncle's wife (Fearless Woman) asked us from her window where we were coming from at 1am and I responded without any remorse "Mama we are coming from a party ni jor"...lol
We all entered and slept anyhow and after like 20mins I threw up all the food and the alcohol I had consumed and I slept back without knowing. When I was informed about it the following day I couldn't believe it until I was shown the video made by one of us, it was so disgusting.
Finally, the following morning, the room was so unbearable with the smell of the alcohol vomit as all of us threw up all through the night that I landed in the hospital. I developed a serious body itch and after proper examination, I was advised by the doctor to do away with alcohol as it was not good for my system. This then became the end of my journey in the alcohol world. lolxxxxx hahahaha I off mic for u. way I dey think weda u go come meet me for wazobia bar dis weekend |

Sports › Re: PSG Set To Beat City To Messi After Neymar Asked To Bring Former Teammate by jacoik(m): 1:43pm On Aug 28, 2020 |
Sanchez01: Messi has become the fair woman that is being courted by both the gentlemen and the thugs and 'she' keeps courting almost all parties to the best of 'her' ability.
The story for Messi and Neymar is fast looking funny and strange. Both tasted European-level success when they played together and then Neymar broke off the union for being in Messi's shadow. It has been nothing but horror for both players since 2017 that Neymar left. Now they are both seeking to play together and possibly replicate the success they had around 2013.
The twist here is: Messi wants to play under Guardiola, and with Neymar in the team which is why he is pushing for City to sign Neymar. Neymar knows he cannot leave as he still has an active contract that will ruin his career should he attempt to terminate it or trigger the contract. His best chance is to whisper to the money bags in Paris to reel Messi in like a great white.
Meanwhile, City has offered 'two sacrifices' to ease and cushion Messi's asking price. The game changer here is not just where Messi wants to play or who he wants to play with or under. The one with the ace here is Adidas who sponsors Messi. PSG and City are Nike controlled, which is a stumbling block somehow. Manchester United and Juventus are both Adidas sponsored which is somehow favourable to both clubs if they show interest.
Why it was different with Ronaldo is because he outrightly chose Juventus and didn't allow to be courted like Messi. In situations as Messi's, the premium sponsors often wade in and help (in some cases pay a part of the fee) to see the said player signed to the club they have business deals with. If Manchester United show keen interest in Messi like City and PSG, Messi will most likely move to Old Trafford. your analysis is top notch bro. I like your kind of person who put things the way a lay man can understand. thanks |

Coldie: this is the truth, remember how they quickly released a statement that ipob killed 2 of their men and kidnapped one. Only for it to turn out to be a lie.
To me ipob has been peaceful enough all these years this incessant killing of them needs to stop.
Nigerian government has no respect for southern youths at all. Alot of things that southern youths get killed for in the north they can't even arrest them for it.
I have seen a situation where EFCC operatives was engaging in illegal stop and search and extorting passerby the moment a man was passing that they discovered he was hausa they apologized to him. This happened in Lagos.
Is this supposed to be so? I have really come to realized that one Nigeria is just a fluke. there is nothing one about this country. a country where government will set jamb result for our kids and the ones in the northern path of the country will have a different cut off mark. a country where our leaders will lag a genuine agitation for terrorist but prefer to give terrors that have wasted thousands of innocent blood for rehabilitation |
