DelTel: 3rd party insurance is ₦5,000 as prescribed by insurance regulator NAICOM. As the name implies, it covers damage to 3rd - another - party property (vehicle, building, bodily injury etc) adjudged caused by you by relevant security agent, up to a maximum of ₦1m, that is, if the cost of repairs is ₦1.1m, the insurance company will only pay ₦1m and you will pay the ₦100k balance. 3rd party insurance doesn't take care of your own vehicles.
Comprehensive motor insurance is a total package that takes care of every damage caused by the accident (there are other sub-divisions of Comprehensive policy but no need to go into it now). The insurance company usually charge a percentage % of the value of vehicle as premium to be paid by vehicle owner, often annually.
It is important to state that this is only possible if and only when you purchase from any of the over 50 duly licenced insurance companies by NAICOM and can be confirmed on askniid.org/verifypolicy.aspx. Fake insurance policy do not pay compensation. . 3rd party insurance doesn't take care of your own vehicles. This is where I get confused! If it doesn't take care of my vehicle, why will I then pay the 5000 every year and also, if it's the 3rd party that caused the accident that damaged my vehicle, I can still not be compensate? What is the essence of me paying every year for to repair another persons car every year when mine will be sort out by me alone |

Oga mode can you help me with front page so as to have quicker solution? Please my people, what is different between comprehensive insurance and third party insurance. I mean the insurance you pay 5000 on your car while doing your vehicle documentation. I was going listening to a radio program this morning and I overheard a lawyer making reference to it but only what I can here him say is that 5000 insurance, the company will be responsible for anything that happens to your vehicle. But my question is, why do we always take the responsibility of fixing our cars instead of the company. What is different between corporate insurance and comprehensive insurance and please any lawyer in the house should do justice to this. |

I can understand in the case of some babes who are in the habit of wearing earrings, necklaces, bangles etc to sleep (just in case they meet a suitor in their dream). ILOVETOFUCK: I am not Igbo but my question is why do some Yorubas, especially, have special hatred for the Igbos. Must it be because of their enterprising spirit, their doggedness, their will to aspire and achieve. Why do some pple from other tribes get panicky when the Igbos are mentioned Still yet U dnt want them to go. Nigeria fought a three year war to keep them and still hate them this much?? Pls someone should help me solve this mystery cos we see them excelling more than other tribes in other parts of the world. I love them though. just relax, take your popcorn and coke, then wait. people that will attack you with ballistic missile will soon land. they see igbos as their enemy |

solmusdesigns: Ok let me give you a straight forward answer based on experience
My cousin is a Naval Officer, and went to join SBS (Special Boat Service) these are elite forces similar to US navy seal or the marine commando, upon getting selected he came home to seek protection from my dad's uncle who happens to be a Land merchant, Ibadan high chief, and Customary court Judge.. to cut the long story short a dish was prepared for him with content including cat eyes, and other ingredients, bullets from a pump action was tested on him and nothing happened, he has done tours in North East, and South South with many falling beside him without him getting hit..
Another personal experience is 2013 during my service year as a Corper in Abeokuta I witnessed metaphysical phenomenon aka jazz called Magun live and direct, I witnessed do as I say charm being used on a British online client live and direct
. why people don't believe in these just beat my imagination |

pancrowcash: Nice write up, OP...
1. Will you return items bought in your shop (personally) if they spoil before the warranty expires?
2. From the guy's complaints, he was sold only the speakers not the player (hilarious).
The monies was to be returned, yes, coz you cannot force anyone to collect an item he doesn't want to buy, most especially if the main item was removed.
3. The eastern part of Nigeria, are known to majorly trade in that particular environment(i am from the east as well), wouldn't be reasonable if you see so many COWS in your farm, grazing on your crops, to suspect the FULANIS...
4. Unions don't come to the aids of the people because they are also traders(sympathy). The buyers need protection as well which they do not have.
I have always recommended people to use escrow services, to resolve unnecessary issues. lolxxxxx hahahaha and what's escrow service please. put it in layman's language. but on a more serious note, am an Igbo man but those guys can kill someone and burry the person in broadday light in that market |

Johnrake69: This one is medicine after death. As far as there are no punitive measures in place to deal with those dubious miscreants in that market. My best advice is for a new person is to stay away.
Don't attempt to buy Electronics as a new person in the market. You're better off buying from Lawanson or any other market.
I lost #60k in that market. And I swore never to step into that market.
And this is not about tribe. The main guy that scammed me was Haruna then supported by my Igbo brothers. I see it as the culture of the market. The tales from first timers experience in that market has always been horrible. And don't try to blame it on the guys doing osoafia. They are in Idumota and Balogun too. In fact I use them alot. They earn commissions from the stores and each time I make use of any of them I still tip them because they save me alot of time especially when I'm looking for a particular design of wears.
Like I said earlier, fraud is the culture they have adopted in Alaba market as a virtue.
If you have never been to Alaba before to buy Electronics better stay away. You're 99.99% likely to be scammed. So why take that chance?
The same receipt has always been used. Divine Grace Investment. My friend has bought used electronics from Lawanson and got home it didn't work as expected and she returned it and collected her money in full no dragging. But in Alaba, the money you just paid now now, see me see you I haven't touched your electronics is none refundable. Anybody calling that a business is a criminal. you have said it all my dear and that is end of discussion. yes am an Igbo man and alaba is close to me but I detest that market with passion. is idumota and balogun not market like alaba? why is fraud not in those market? the answer is this: the chairmen in alaba works in conjunction with those fraudsters! |

hisgrace090: I hope you're about to tell us that the market leaders have resolve unanimously to stamp out those bad eggs to redeem the image of the market.
They should inform their members that anyone his shop is used in defrauding someone will be expell from the market simple.
Then they'll use one to three people as an example and this reoccurring madness will come to an end.
Failure to do so will indicates that all of them are together in scamming people and will not help the market too. very good fact. yes am an Igbo man but those bastards, I believe they are working in cohorts with the chairmen |

How will they know if they have internal injuries which can kill faster in this situation? Nigeria is highly devided between the rich and the poor. And many people wasting data and fighting for these so called leaders as if they care.
