Politics › Re: NDDC: It Is Clearly Not God's Will For Akpabio To Be A Minister by jamesversion: 8:22am On Nov 21, 2019
very subjective write-up. Why should Edo state have Chairman of NDDC, how much oil do they produce?
Politics › Re: Wike: PDP’s Loss Of Bayelsa Poses Serious Threat To Rivers by jamesversion: 8:20pm On Nov 20, 2019

I don't know what you know. I don't think Buhari was in Bayelsa to campaign for Lyon...yet APC defeated PDP whose flag bearer 's the incumbent Gov's cousin. In Kwara, Akwa Ibom, it didn't matter if Buhari was a flag bearer or not; to cut Saraki and Akpabio to size.
Besides, in 2019, like in 2015, we saw very many people who didn't vote for APC because Buhari was the flag bearer yet APC won PDP in both elections. Such is politics!!!
APC will win again in 2023... after their 16 yrs abysmal failure, why will PDP want to rule Nigeria againhuh
Buhari almost has a religious following in the North. It is safe to say he won election for APC. I don't expect you to contest that fact.

Bayelsa APC victory in all sincerity was more or less a protest against the Maladministration and perceived arrogance and needless disregard Dickson has for not only his constituents but the person of Goodluck Jonathan. I live in old Port Harcourt township, an area populated by Ijaws and the general consensus was irregardless of the fact that Dickson is very prominent in INC, they purposely decided to teach him a lesson to respect elders.

then @bolded, if you believe this Buhari's administration doesn't amount to a failure, then I pray someone runs your life the way Buhari is running Nigeria. Say an Amen if you will.

Shut up your mouth. There are people of Yoruba ancestry in South South too.. there are yorubas in the North and yorubas in Benin republic. Have u seen the yorubas forming attach'e by force with them?? Igbos have so failed in politics that the only political ectasy and that seems to give them satisfaction and relevance is clinging on to the southsouth and making false brotherhood claims. As long as the Olu of Warri is not subjected to being a surbordinate to the obi Of onitsha by tradition and the Constitution, you're all strangers to the people of south South with no Igbo ancestry and bloodline.
Cut the Igbos some slack. There are a few of them in Rivers, and by this I don't mean the Ikwerres, I mean people found in two LGAS who have identified themselves as Igbos( Oyigbo LGA and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni).

With that, I believe they have a say in whatever happens in the SS region cos it affects their brothers.

You are not very correct. APC had no candidate in the 2019 Rivers gubernatorial election. And it's all due to the Amaechi/Abe issues...Wike was already a goner until they disqualified APC from contesting the election. 2023 will be a different ball game and Wike knows that...he wont be in the Senate, he wont be Gov, he wont be a President, he wont be a VP, he wont be a party chair....he will just be Wike and he may even go to jail
Are you now an all-knowing being to have already figured how 2023 will pan out. What assurances does APC have that they will turn out fine in the Absence of Buhari. Cos even an Idiot easily understand that Buhari on the Ballot is the reason for APC presidential victories on both occasions. APC should watch it.

The deed has being done,Bayelsians have made a very big mistake and they have forgotten that Lyon could also betray them. Sylva dis to GEJ, Dickson did it to GEJ and Sylva and Lyon could do it to anybody... Am seeing Rivers also going to APC
Rivers aren't going to any APC, that is if APC does not implode after their 2023 primaries.

Rivers has a lot of Igbo/Igboid influence that aren't really comfortable with anything APC.

Am a Christian and Wike should stop disgraing us abeg.

Tying Christianity to rivers state is like tying Christianity to cultism, kidnapping, prostitution, bunkering, militancy, ritual killing to Christianity.

Rivers state is one of the biggest crime places in Nigeria and this man proudly keeps on tying it to Chrstianity.

Is he thinking at all?
You are very stupid for the absolute rubbish you wrote about Rivers. It is your state of Origin that is infested with cultists, prostitutes, kidnappers et al.

Sounds like a party facing an existential crisis. Given how shabbily they've treated the East, I think the party deserves every ill lick that comes it's way.

Pdp cant keep treating it's most loyal base with such contempt and expect to prosper. Even the bible frowns at that.

Pdp 2023 ticket must go to the East. Shikena.
If the South East is PDPs most loyal base, what then do you call the SS?.

You are just a mischievous fellow. grin

Igbos have their own party, APGA. They are certain to have an Igbo presidential flagbearer there. PDP is the property of the SS states especially Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Delta and Cross river.

Igbo's haven't consistently been members of PDP. So be rightly guided.

And so you know the capacity of every single state in Nigeria?

Lagos is the only state in this nation with anything close to a modern fire department. Three years ago, we had a leak in the pressure system in our station at fadeyi. Pms was discharging into the gutters. A location full of crazy area boys. I was sure we were fkd. But Lasg fire service got there in a jiffy and discharged foam into the gutters. They shut it down. No incident escalation.

Let us hope other states will learn from this, though I doubt it.

Of course as always we also need to regulate the road worthless trucks Carrying pms, but that is another story.
Your highlighted comment is faulty. How did you arrive at that conclusion. Did you take a study of all Fire departments across the 36 states before concluding thus or u have guessed it as typical of Nigerians?

Please Rivers have a very efficient state owned fire service plus a legion of others from the various multinationals based there. You wouldn't know this cos you've never been to Port Harcourt.

@Topic, Igbo's, especially Anambrarians usually over exaggerate themselves. You see a comment like "how can this happen in Anambra of all places",and you just know that pompousity is the reason they don't have fire service. They are so full of themselves.
