HealthTell Your Experience Under Anaesthesia by jaszplus12(op): 9:34pm On May 10, 2020
Since the discovery of anaesthesia it's been very helpful in medicine especially during surgery.
Being under it one is bound to lose consciousness and control of our minds and senses therefore leading to hallucinations and spurting out words and sometimes leaking secrets!
In 1997 I needed to go under to get my shoulder fixed...as soon as I was asked "what's your name?" I recall losing consciousness and seeing myself "somewhere" I can't describe now...but I remember asking loudly "am I in heaven? And answering myself "no, cos if you're in heaven you'd be very happy" then I asked again "am I then in hell?" I answered myself saying "no you're not cos obviously you're not burning up!"
If you're able to recall some or all the things you saw or uttered let's have fun here!
Christianity EtcRe: "Odumeje-indabosky" -A Disgrace To Christianity by jaszplus12(m): 2:24pm On May 07, 2020

Op, don't mind what those above are saying, many so called christians don't follow the bible that is the problem we have today, they try to justify their own ways.

I am no saint, but the fact remains, ANYTHING THAT CONTRADICTS THE BIBLE is not christianity. Sin is sin, right is right and wrong is wrong, you don't need the angels to come down to tell you somethings are wrong.

The good news is christianity is not enforced, hiding under the name and trying to manipulate the book to justify your actions is foolishnesss.

Heed the warning to flee before it's too late. Any married woman that's giving you the come on signal is as dangerous as COVID-19, she traps you, you can't breathe cos she suddenly wants you more often... chokes you cos now your time is hers, and quarantines you as everyone else will be shut out from your life. Thennnn....she no longer needs you when her hubby is back yet and soon she will give you away to her husband saying you're the one who toasted her, at this point, you have no defense, it's your word against hers and she is going to win.

Then.... you're dead... from maybe a pistol shot or by a mob mistaking you for a thief....it will be years later the truth will be known...but by those who mourn you....
Be VERY CAREFUL

Christianity EtcRe: Should I Pay Tithe From My 20k Stimulus I Got From Government? by jaszplus12(m): 1:04pm On Apr 19, 2020
Mavrick2012:
I heard my neighbor asking another neighbor if he can pay tithe from the 20k alert he got from government.

This got me thinking.

Are members expected to pay a tenth of whatever they get at this difficult period?
A cursory look at the Bible teaches us that tithe was paid ONLY by the Jews to the Levites only in Jerusalem and it was NEVER cash!
Sir, if you really want to know what the Bible says about TITHE...we can have a private chat. We can have an objective look at the topic from Bible study.
I'm expecting. Cheers

first semester result came out and he had 3.98 out of 4.00 topping the class. I think he wasn't given 4.00 because of his staggering attendance. he also screams at unusual intervals.

.
Hehehehe...I can relate on that reading aspect!
For me, I can't prepare in advance for exams, I can only read and understand few hours to exam. I read through quickly...then browse over once...I drop the book...any attempt to open that book again..my memory deletes! I'm doomed to fail that paper... unless mercy is extended....

I am still trying to wrap my head around the power outage/generator refusing to come on story and his death and I don't believe it for one bit.
Assuming he was intubated and on oxygen, definitely Oxygen supply doesn't require a power supply, unless they were using oxygen concentrator, which I doubt.
It's also most unlikely any hospital of that status carrying out such costly and delicate surgery would not be on assured power supply during the surgery.
What I see here is someone or people using the power/generator as an excuse for something more serious that went wrong.
Either the patient himself wasn't healthy at all to have undergone any type of surgery that involved the type of anaesthesia he was put under or something went wrong during the procedure itself.
The generator stuff is just bunkum and I am very sure,an autopsy,if it's allowed to be performed, would show the man died of a medical ailment, that has no link at all to power being available or not
Yeah...the day I truly understood that some medical failures blame could be shifted was hearing doctors gather to agree to blame the death of a man on delay on the family in bringing him to the hospital! I overheard it live! I shivered....may God continue to keep us healthy...Amen

Obviously staged! Who will go for this one when some teenagers and young girls can do it for the same N500?
She is a disgrace to motherhood alongside the nuisance that recorded it.
Why didn't he look for N500 to give to her?
Not N500 to wash people's clothes.
Not N500 to tidy someone's compound.
Not N500 to do community works.
Not N500 to work in a canteen that even give food to workers. ETC.
Wants N500 for sex only, shameless woman.
Just imagine being given a school project to make a compilation of your mother's throwback on the Internet, a lot of people will curse their mothers.
Thanks. You said it all.
Let's be realistic to stand and say you will sell your body for #500 and to ask if there's any work she can do for even less than the#500 which is more dignifying? We've lost our morals especially those who are busy covering her shameless act! What advice can she offer her daughter now? Imagine if 60% of mothers are like her! Then we're back to Sodom and Gomorrah!

CultureHave You Noticed This In Your Village? by jaszplus12(op): 9:17pm On Apr 05, 2020
I've been previledged to visit lots of village settings and there's a trend I find interesting.
The actors actually see it as a way of life. Sometimes as a means to an end but mostly the acts are above their power or will...and age is no barrier!
The actors are:
1) the village troublemaker.
This person sees no issues with raising issues with anyone!
He or she wakes up and goes around the village and picks up quarrels or fights all day and all year round! Only on sick days does he or she relent!
2) the village drunk.
Typically he or she reeks of alcohol from dawn to dusk... staggering and swaying in the wind...beaten by the rain or not finding his way home when totally knocked out! But will surely resume the following day! Most times he's broke but is never lacking in a cup or two to start the day! Funny that some are even married with kids!
3) The village belle!
This usually are female... she's everyone's bedmate! As a visitor to the village your guys will present her to you even though they also have had her in the past!
She's ever ready to date or have a one night stand... with anyone!!! Just say hi....she's yours...
These three actors make the village life spicy and interesting always!

Damn son, this Nigeria was especially where I had problems with him. The talent was obvious but the use was not purposeful. A less talented footballer like xavi or even xabi Alonso or Toni Kroos were better because they were purposeful with the way they played. No unnecessary entertainment yet they are greats in their own rights.
Simple! And thank you for that simple comparison.

Okocha overrated??
Maradona overrated??

You see why people always attack you Messi indomie fans...

You think if Messi and Ronaldo played football in the time of such players, they'd have up to 5 ballondors??

For you to call maradona overrated shows the kind of person you Messi fans are, only Messi isn't overrated... A maradona that lifted a Napoli to league titles winning best player and golden boot along the way... A maradona that put Argentina on the football map?

Alright Messi is the only non overrated player in the world

Okocha overrated? Really??
A master of midfield that carried a dead Bolton team playing with unskilled players like Davies and Jameel etc??
A midfield maestro that combined skills with dribbles even inventing his own step overs.. A great passer of the ball, freekicks, shoot technique... Really?
Kaiiiiiiiiiii... you're overrating the okocha I know! Was he a freekick specialist? A great passer of the ball? What shooting technique? All I remember is his dribbling skills...no doubt about that...and only at Bolton did he play purposefully to lift the team...and at Frankfurt while still developing...for Nigeria believe me he didn't push the team enough to consider him better than average.
Our problem is we're unduly emotional about who we follow and rate them from our point of view

I consider Manu Dibango to be one of the 4 great legends of African music. The others are Fela Anikulapo-Kuti of Nigeria, Hugh Masekela of South Africa and Miriam Makeba also of South Africa.

Manu Dibango's 1972 classic, Soul Makossa, was a worldwide hit and he won a Grammy Award for it.

Michael Jackson stole a portion of the song for his hit "Startin Something" and Dibango sued him, but the matter was settled out of court. Michael Jackson then granted Rihanna the right to use that portion of the song in her hit, "Please Don't Stop The Music" and Dibango sued both Michael and Rihanna.

He has been based in Paris, France since at least the 1970s.
