Econet wireless which was once Zain and now Airtel is the first telco company to launched her lines after post-NITEL days and not MTN, I stand to be corrected if wrong sha.

kikero:
Glo and Airtel are not too good, and 9mobile is not widespread....

Plus MTN was the first mobile provider in the country. Your family and friends and colleagues are more likely to have an MTN line than any network.

Made worse back in the 2001-5 period, when it was a bit difficult sometimes to call between networks...so if you had to call someone back then without problems, you had to get an MTN line in addition to your ECONET line.
Career › Re: Differences Between: Sack, Lay-off, Retrenchment And Fire. by Jeboy(m): 3:46pm On Apr 29, 2020
Most deceitful companies have even up their game especially when they want to lay you off or retrench which should come with benefits.
The HR will stylishly intimidate you by telling you to resign rather than face lay off that may affect your career history.
Not that they really want to protect your professional experience but just want to have an easy way out of not paying you the benefits you are entitled to.
If you didnt commit any misconduct to warrant sack or fire please dont buy in to the idea of self resignation often suggested by these errants HR because the motive is to deny you of your exit benefit attached with retrenchment or lay off. Stay woke.
Note: This applies to jobs with benefits for retrenching or laying off their staff
Romance › How A Banker Wife Got Divorced By Her Husband Over A Rape Incident by Jeboy(op): 1:50am On Apr 24, 2020
PLEASE ADVICE HER

I am a Banker in my early 30s and going through a messy divorce. I married my husband as a virgin. I have never been with any man but him until I was raped. I didn't know anything about orgasm, climax or what have you because I have never experienced it. 8 years of marriage with a miserable sex life. I have two children from my marriage. It happens that We traveled to my husband village during last Easter period. While in his country home by 1 am in the night our house was raided by armed robbers a gang of 7 members . It was a very terrifying experience, after collecting all the valuables at home, the leader turned to rape me. The leader tied my husband to a chair, tore my clothe and went on to show me his manhood that he will use it on me. I was frightened. I begged him and cried but he wouldn't listen. It was a rape that cost me my marriage. As the guy was entering me, I was supposed to feel pains but that wasn't so. I felt a kind of ,electrifying sensations that I have never felt in my whole life. I screamed oh my God, as he started pounding on me I didn't know when I was holding him hard and begging him not to stop to the amazement of others, I was enjoying being raped by a criminal. I was told I was screaming very hard when I wanted to come. Yes I had my first orgasm through rape and since then my life hasn't been the same. The robber took me two rounds which I came both times. I don't know what happened, if it was my village people that pursued me, but all I can say is that I haven't had such with my husband. My husband gave me the beatings of my life after they robbers left. He called me unprintable names, I am a prostitute, he didn't know I was an ashawo. He can't marry an Ashawo. I was hospitalized for two weeks as a result of that incident and his beatings . My husband left me at the hospital and travelled back to our home. I was Damaged .How could such a thing happened to me? What was responsible for me enjoying being raped and even coming as a result of it? How could I even enjoy such act of cruelty on my body? These were the questions I kept asking myself. When I got discharged I met a divorce papers waiting for me to sign. I tried begging my husband , involved my parents but he swore instead of staying with me he will rather die. That I am a disgrace to his life. My husband is a rich guy, so when our divorce news broke out, while I was denying it, he kept telling everyone one that I am a LovePeddler. It took me months to accept my predicament and move on. I am still healing, still seeing my therapist. But one thing I know is that I am not what my husband says I am. I am just a woman who was sexually starved. I did not pray to be raped, but it was the turning point of my life . I just feel like sharing this with you my family because it will help me . Pls don't judge me, because you don't know my pains. By July I will be through with the divorce . I just want you all to wish me well with my new life. I pray to find Love in the nearest Future.

1. *What could she have done differently?*

2. *Was it a crime for her to enjoy rape sex like that?*

3. *Was the husband being fair to her?*

4. *Was divorce the only way out?*

Politics › COVID-19: Group Rejects 2-weeks lockdown extension, threatens to defy order. by Jeboy(op): 1:27am On Apr 24, 2020
A group, Oodua Youth Coalition, has condemned the decision of the 36 state governors across Nigeria to institute a further two-week national lockdown in the country in order to curtail the spread of Coronavirus.

The group said any attempt to force the people to remain indoors without adequate preparation for their welfare and well-being shall be resisted.

The 36 state governors had on Wednesday recommended a national lockdown for another two weeks in addition to the almost elapsing four-week lockdown in Lagos, Federal Capital Territory and Ogun State to deal with the pandemic.

According to Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, who made the announcement, the inter-state lockdown became necessary following the continued rise in the number of infected persons and fatalities in the country.

In a statement by its President, Oluyi Akintade Tayo, and Publicity Secretary, Ajongbolo Oluwagbenga, the OYC said it was disheartening that the governors could agree to lockdown in their respective states without recourse to how the people had been living in hunger since the partial lockdown.

The statement reads, "Save for Ondo and Oyo states, the remaining four states in Yoruba land have been on total lockdown for weeks now and the resultant effects are clear to the blind.

"In Lagos and Ogun, criminals are having field and free days terrorising the people and looting their properties.

"Every night, hungry and angry Nigerians, who should be sleeping soundly in their homes, have turned emergency vigilantes while the ones indoors only sleep with one eye closed.

"Unfortunately, there are reports of unreasonable and unnecessary attacks on innocent citizens by security men stationed on major roadblocks in towns and highways.

"It was also reported that the Nigerian Security Forces have killed more person than the Coronavirus itself.”

The OYC observed that the palliatives being shared around by political office holders and government officials were ridiculous and cannot sustain the people.

According to the group, a further lockdown could lead to chaos in the country that government may not be able to curtail.

Finally, the bible says there is a way that seemeth right (exciting, fulfilled, attractive, enjoyable) unto a man but the end is destruction.

Sports › Re: Underestimating M. Ali Was The Mistake Of A Lifetime Says G. Foreman by Jeboy(op): 10:55pm On Apr 11, 2020
I quite agree with your submission that history usually repeats itself because you need to see the video of how Ali described Foremans strength and weakness and how he plans to outbox him with confidence. I got si much respect for Ali men.

Fast forward to Fury Vs Wilder, Fury also described Wiider as a bully who will be confused on the offensive. Exactly the same game plan Fury talked about was what he executed. History keeps repeating itself.

Freestainworld:
the way Anthony Joshua got whooped by Ruiz, the same way the big mouthed and unskilled Wilder got destroyed by pillow fist Fury, and the same way A.J will destroy fury in time to come, that is boxing, underestimate your opponent at your own peril, it happened to Mike Tyson against buster Douglas, happened to Lewis against Rahman, all it takes is just one punch, the difference will be made.
Sports › Underestimating M. Ali Was The Mistake Of A Lifetime Says G. Foreman by Jeboy(op): 10:33pm On Apr 11, 2020
After watching the Heavy Weight boxing Championship bout where George Foreman KOed the powerful Ken Norton & made him look like an average boxer, Ali being interviewed after the fight near the ring side being the next challenger described the strength and weakness of George Foreman and promised to whoop his ass in Zaire Kinshasha in the presence of the Lumumba boys in a fight tagged Rumble in the jungle.

Later on Ali went into the fight and executed what he said at a time George Foreman was seen as a beast.

The greatest boxing lesson I can deduce here is exactly what George Foreman says years after that his mistake was underestimating the tenacity of Mohammed Ali.

I think this is a lesson for all. Know your opponents.

Boxing lovers what can you say about this match still being regarded as the greatest boxing bout of all times.

Webmasters › Which Internet Subscription Is Best For This Lockdown Period by Jeboy(op): 9:04pm On Apr 05, 2020
I just observed I have overstretched my data expense by over 700% this lockdown period. From taking tutorials online, church service online, keeping up with internet news, being involved in different WhatsApp group, whatsaapp video and audio calls and working from home has put unprecedented demand on staying online since we have more time to be on the net.

We now know it is office wifi that have been making up for us, yoruba will say Asiri tu (the secret is exposed).

How do you guys manage to stay on budget and which network and combination keeps helps you. Dont tell me about night plans because the best I get from my is a N50 for 500mb and it is capped once, u cant use twice for a night. Your suggestion is welcome, pls help a brother. Internet is really life, I agree with airtel even though I have disagreed with them all the while.

Romance › Six Mates to Marry To Enjoy Marital Bliss by Jeboy(op): 1:46am On Apr 04, 2020
One of the ways your marriage will not add to the rate of divorce in our world today is for you to marry your mate and if you are married already, make your spouse your mate! You see that statement of ‘ Am I your mate?’ does not apply in marriage. You must marry your mate. I will like to talk on seven dimensions you and the person you want to marry or you have married must be mate.

1. MARRY_YOUR_SPEAKING_MATE

Marry someone you can speak together and understand each other. Communication is very crucial in marriage. Don’t marry someone that, when you are saying ‘A’ he or she will be saying ‘ Z’ Once there is dichotomy in your speaking and understanding level, you can’t enjoy that marriage. So many men go to bar to hang out with friends and gist till 11pm because they know their wives can’t engage in any meaningful intellectual discussion. So many women too prefer to hang out with their friends, because they know their husbands mentality when it comes to vital issues and discussions is very low. Marry your speaking Mate.

2. MARRY_YOUR_SCHOOL_MATE By this I mean, marry someone you can learn together and improve together. Don’t marry ‘ Mr Know all’ or ‘Miss Know all’. Don’t marry someone who is rigid and not open to new ideas, new ways of doing things, or new innovations. Marriage is a great institution. From day one till death do you part, you will keep learning. Marry your ‘school’ mate; someone who is ready to learn with you.

3. MARRY_YOUR_SPIRITUAL_MATE

Marriage is not just a social union. It is also a spiritual union. Marry someone who knows the same God you know. Don’t marry someone who’s believe of God is different from yours. Two can’t work together except they be agreed ( Amos 3:3, Joshua 23: 11-15, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18). The spiritual controls the physical, even in marriage. Check for spiritual compatibility in that person you want to marry.

4. MARRY_YOUR_SPENDING_MATE

Don’t marry someone who is stingy. There are so many expenses to cater for in marriage. A stingy guy in courtship won’t suddenly become a generous husband in marriage. Don’t marry a lady that has the financial philosophy of ‘ My husband’s money is our money, but my money is my money’. Marry someone who believes in dignity of labour , who is ready to work, not a lazy fellow who just want to be a consumer and not a contributor. Marry someone who is ready to spend and be spent for the growth and success of the family.

5. MARRY_YOUR_SEX_MATE

Marry someone you have sexual feelings for. Sexual feeling is not a sin. It is an instinct God put in every person. Sex plays a major role in the success of any marriage. Any man you don’t have emotional feelings for, don’t marry the person. If you don’t have emotional feelings for that lady, leave her alone. A spiritual being is also a sexual being. No matter how spiritual you both may be in your marriage, you won’t be praying for 24 hours in a day. You won’t be reading the Bible or worshiping God 24/7. You will have sex! You will romance! You will flirt with each other! You will make babies. So, marry someone you can connect with sexually. It will help you to enjoy your marriage so much!

6. MARRY_YOUR_SOCIAL_MATE

Don’t marry someone you won’t be proud to go out with. Don’t marry someone you will be feeling shy to introduce to people with boldness. Marry someone you are comfortable to hang out with. Marry someone you are socially compatible with. Don’t marry an anti- social person. You might be wondering if you can find all the ‘mates’ in one person. Yes! The answer is YES! You don’t need to marry 6 guys/ladies to have all these mates. One person can be all that for you. If you also work on yourself and build your life, you can be all that for the guy/lady that will marry you. The promise of God for you is this : ‘Seek and read from the book of the LORD: Not one of these shall be missing; none shall be without her mate. For the mouth of the LORD has commanded, and his Spirit has gathered them.’ (Isaiah 34:16). Say it loud and clear ‘ I shall not lack a mate!’ I hope this blessed someone reading?

I have been reading a lot of weak logic how China released covic 19 to plague the world.

Rather than invest in Technology, Research and Development we invest in religion and dirty politics at our detriment....the result being weak point of views and preferring solution.

Get it right, China used good human database system , surveillance system plus Artificial Intelligence to win the covid 19 pandemic. Dont be lazy in thinking. Even the West has not accused China of any wrong doing. Check attached pictures for detailed analysis. I could not post video due to size.
