dljbd1:Been using it for over 4 months now. Crazy good, sleek, fast with super excellent battery backup. My charger rarely leaves my home now and on some days, I don't bother charging despite being a heavy user. I have lost count of how many times people walk up to me and ask which phone it is and how to get it. I must also add that the initial Chinese done Global ROM had connectivity issues but this was later rectified via an update |
Childish propaganda |
litdutchboy:This is really funny and looks like a paid post. You should learn to give credit where due and criticise constructively. While I wouldn't hold brief for any politician, most of your post lacks a basis. Ask anyone in the know about happenings in Anambra before, during and after Obi's tenure. Fact is that while virtually no state in Nigeria can boast of truly world class roads, Obi did a lot in improving the road network of state owned roads in Nigeria. Today Anambra has one of the best network of Stare owned roads in the country and that is due to the continuum from Ngige to Obi. He had a plan and went about it judiciously. Secondly, the current state teaching hospital was built by Obi. This was a huge improvement over what was obtainable previously. Currently, the hospital is used as a training center for students and professionals alike. You're trying to belittle his efforts in putting up savings for the state is another one. If half of the governors in Nigeria had governors that could take their states from debts to savings of 75 billion after their tenure, Nigeria wouldn't have had the last economic woes where majority of states couldn't pay salaries and needed to be bailed out you keep mentioning world class this and that.... Mention any state in Nigeria including the FCT that has a world class standard of any of those things you mentioned above. I value improvement when I see one. Also, while personally I support separation of powers and strengthening of the local governments, looking at Nigeria today, its hard to fault him on what he did. The greatest corruption takes place at the local government level as there is virtually no accountability there. What we should be asking for is strengthening of the system with delegated responsibilities for the LGs. Like him or hate him, Obi is an economic guru. He earned his bragging rights before getting into politics and it's virtually impossible for someone with such economic knowhow not to be doing well for him self. That his businesses are flourishing is testament to his ethics. Afterall, the typical Nigerian governor would have siphoned the 75billion to himself and borrowed more too. Finally while I may have some issues with Peter Obi, I give him credit where its due and recognise him as one of the best governors Nigeria has produced. |
MJBOLT:oops.. Thought it was today. Thanks |
Please can anyone confirm if GoTv Max would air the match |
Adeitanajoke:What is this ?No source? I thought all front page topics are verified or has Nairaland started offering sponsored posts? Just checked and saw that the op just registered today and has about 4 topics already and with all "her" topics being political. There is certainly something fishy and it looks like money has changed hands @Seun and @Mods I think you should look into this. Hope someone is not collecting money from politicians for propaganda by pushing such unverified topics to the front page |
seems crazy.. but we're getting there |
Pidginwhisper:Dry.... Poor sense of humour |
Hello guys. I've finally been able to solve the network issue with my mi max 3 that equally plagued most earlier bought devices that had the unofficial global ROM installed. The MIUI 10 update which is available via OTA at about 765MB solves it. So no need of flashing the Chinese ROM. Quite a relief |
He is absolutely wrong Firstly, we're talking about a president who dodged his presidential debate and has never had a live presidential chat with the local media- something which should be done monthly. He set out by gallivanting around the world and only granting exclusive reviews to foreign media when outside the country forgetting about the local media. Maybe he thought that way he could sustain the propaganda by foreign news outlets who brought him to power. He perhaps thought foreigners would be involved in voting. However of recent they've seen him for who he truly is and have been dragging him and his so called integrity on the floor. He now remembers the local media when he's already sinking. Shows a man with slow thought process. He should start by organising a live presidential media chat. But I'm sure he's handlers wouldn't allow him or they'd insist he should answer questions from a book because he's sure to make more bigoted and explosive statements whenever he speaks without being told what to say Secondly, he has to perform at least to an extent so that the media outfits have something to constantly report. But here we're talking about a disaster of a man who twice pushed Nigeria into the greatest recession she has ever seen. Even his paid BMC crew are finding it hard to Photoshop his already battered image. Hence, most times they resort to insults. Just look at how they're throwing personal attacks at Atiku instead on focusing on telling the electorates what their master has achieved. Fact is that now that he's desperate, he'd start throwing tax payers money around in a bid to salvage his drowning image. |
SEONaijaExpert:You're quite wrong. The average health indices for Nigeria is quite poor. The number of Nigerian children that die of malaria and diarrhoea or women dying as a result of complications in pregnancy is staggering especially compared to a lot of nations. |
justscorchone:And what are your qualities/what are you bringing to the table. You have quite a number there, would be ideal if u have similar or better qualities too |
whytepawn1:After three days of the incident and no response, the bitter truth may be that he was a casualty. It's not just the reprisals that worry me. It's the fact that for several years, the State seems like it's always waiting for the next riot. This has been going on for decades unending and no Government wants to bring lasting peace |
Mizwisdom:That's Nigeria for you. Human Life seems to have been cheapened in recent years. |
PMBfirstson:People are being killed and you say nothing is happening. Be sure of what you know before waving off issues. |
Seems Kaduna is always angling towards the next riot. May God keep us safe despite all the military bases scattered all over the state. |
It's confirmed. There is chaos all over Kaduna. It's linked to the killings which took place in Kasuwa Magani on a very busy market day (the market is a very busy village market not too far from the central town which has had similar issues but to a lesser scale in the recent past) How could the Government and police try to cover the deaths. First, they reported no casualties, later only two then only yesterday they reported 55. When I myself saw over 70 dead bodies which were deposited in one mortuary alone not to talk of other big hospitals in the state whose mortuaries had been filled up. Worse still, two more consignments of more bodies were still on the way to that center as other centers had stopped accepting bodies. That's aside how many more still in the bush and bodies which had been claimed. How can well over 400 people be killed in a market on a market day not by guns but cutlasses and matchets in a move which was obviously preplanned and the security agencies couldn't act on intelligence to forestall it or nip it in the bud? Then the next day, a prominent traditional ruler is waylayed and kidnapped. The thing they could do is a declaration of a curfew after casualties were well into the hundreds The annoying thing is that almost all the bodies were agile young men. Also all were mutilated and cut absurdly with matchets like they were animals. It was something I had never seen before in my life. A gory sight. In all these, it was rumoured that the police stood bye and watched the killings which were obviously preplanned until the villagers gathered to protect themselves, that was when they stepped in. Then they now come to deny the deaths. Left to me, the market should be closed for the time being. The issue is that this started towards the evening. From experience of similar occurrences, no one can predict what would happen at night. That's when most killings take place. More so, Kaduna town has too many hot zones and it's difficult to bring calm once it has escalated. For now, the curfew has not been fully effected and people are still moving though carefully. It's by tomorrow that the security agencies may really control the issue |
The Mods should move this to go to get people aware of what's going on. Especially travellers |

Tonytonex:Seems it started in Maraba Rido and spread into the town |
profeazy:It's going down. The town was already tensed on Friday as people suspected this might happen. Youths who had seen the bodies or heard of the scale of the massacre were already getting restive. I had to limit my movement on Friday. The deaths in Kaduna Magani should have been well over 500 |

CodeTemplar:sarcasm Knowing you're one of the people who champion the course of Covenant University, I see the point you're trying to drive across. I'm sure if it was CU, that's what people would say |
I see public universities are beginning to change their mentality. Poor grades are not a thing to brag about. Covenant University seems to have shown them the light. Hope students to can learn and stop using their poor grades to rate their individual universities |
Good day house. I got the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 a while ago. It turns out it's very difficult to make calls indoors. Using mobile data is even worse. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? |
Pity he has lost control of the dressing room. Happens in most of his team's. |
GAZZUZZ:Quite steep price. May manage it till months end cos I noticed yesterday and today that it's getting free. Thanks for your response |
Good day Gazzuzz Greetings on your contributions here. Please, I have a Honda Accord 2003. The steering has a little clearance and the steering rack has been leaking oil for quite a while now so I usually top it up ftom yime to time. Last week, I bought ABRO oil to top up. Today, I noticed the steering started getting stiff. I took it to my mechanic who checked and said the power steering pump wasn't working well and needs to be changed or repaired. He also advised I change or repair the rack too. Pls do you think I can use it for a while if I repair it or is it better I just go ahead and buy a new one? Also, I'm thinking it may be due to the new oil because I can't remember using this oil with it before |
Good day @luvinhubby What's the price of the power steering rack and pump for Honda Accord 2003? Also do you send items outside Lagos? |

Pipedreams:@op You should be matured enough to blur out or cover her picture/face. Nairaland is a big place and anyone who knows her or has her contact on his/her timeline would recognize her. |
