I think it's confirmed. There is chaos all over Kaduna.

It's linked to the killings which took place in Kasuwa Magani on a very busy market day (the market is a very busy village market not too far from the central town which has had similar issues but to a lesser scale in the recent past)

How could the Government and police try to cover the deaths. First, they reported no casualties, later only two then only yesterday
they reported 55. When I myself saw over 70 dead bodies which were deposited in one mortuary alone not to talk of other mortuaries in the state whose mortuaries had been filled up. Worse still, two more consignments of more bodies were still on the way to that center as other centers had stopped accepting bodies. That's aside how many more still in the bush and bodies which had been claimed.

How can well over 400 people be killed in a market on a market day not by guns but cutlasses and matchets in a move which was obviously preplanned and the security agencies couldn't act on intelligence to forestall it or nip it in the bud? Then the next day, a prominent traditional ruler is waylayed and kidnapped. The thing they could do is a declaration of a curfew after casualties were well into the hundreds

The annoying thing is that almost all the bodies were agile young men. Also all were mutilated and cut absurdly with matchets like they were animals. It was something I had never seen before in my life. A gory sight.

In all these, it was rumoured that the police stood bye and watched the killings which were obviously preplanned until the villagers gathered to protect themselves, that was when they stepped in. Then they now come to deny the deaths.
Left to me, the market should be closed for the time being.

The issue is that this started towards the evening. From experience of similar occurrences, no one can predict what would happen at night. That's when most killings take place. More so, Kaduna town has too many hot zones and it's difficult to bring calm once it has escalated. For now, the curfew has not been fully effected and people are still moving though carefully.
It's by tomorrow that the security agencies may really control the issue

I see public universities are beginning to change their mentality. Poor grades are not a thing to brag about.

Covenant University seems to have shown them the light. Hope students to can learn and stop using their poor grades to rate their individual universities

I got the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 a while ago. It turns out it's very difficult to make calls indoors. Using mobile data is even worse.

Please, I have a Honda Accord 2003. The steering has a little clearance and the steering rack has been leaking oil for quite a while now so I usually top it up ftom yime to time. Last week, I bought ABRO oil to top up. Today, I noticed the steering started getting stiff. I took it to my mechanic who checked and said the power steering pump wasn't working well and needs to be changed or repaired. He also advised I change or repair the rack too.

Pls do you think I can use it for a while if I repair it or is it better I just go ahead and buy a new one? Also, I'm thinking it may be due to the new oil because I can't remember using this oil with it before

@op obviously, you've got a lot of diverse advice from people here and would be more confused now.
That's why is always advisable to see a professional.

From what you're experiencing and the distribution and shape of the rashes on the pictures you posted, it's likely you have scabies.
Scabies is a caused by a tiny mite called sacroptes scabei. They move around on the body, lay their eggs and pass their waste. Your body reacts to these which causes the severe itching. You must have got it by coming in close body contact with someonewho has it. Also, people around you may have contracted it and would need to get treated if they notice similar symptoms.
Seeing that this is not a bacterial or fungal infection, your usual antibiotic or antifungal creams wouldn't work on it.

Finally, you should go and see a dermatologist (doctor who specialises in skin issues) to get the best treatment and be sure it's not something more sinister

My brother, you have scabies, and everyone in your family is also probably infected as well.

I am suffering the same issue now. It is a very contagious and stubborn infection. Everyone in the family has to be treated at the same time.

I don't know where my brother picked it up from but within 2 weeks after his own presented, all six of us developed symptoms.

Antibiotic does not kill it. Only an anti-parasitic topical cream can.

Here's what you need to buy.

1. Sulfur 10% cream [N500]
2. Benzyl Benzoate Lotion by Moko [N350]
3. Permethrin 5% Cream [N7,000]
4. Set of fresh underwears

1. Apply Permethrin all over your body at night and leave it on for 10hrs for two days

2. After the second day, at night, apply the Benzyl lotion after bathing and thoroughly sponging your body. Wash it off in the morning. Be very careful with Benzyl lotion. Do not use on your face and private part. It will burn you like the devil inside a hell chamber.

3. Daily In the morning bathe with warm water and then apply the sulfur cream like your normal body lotion, it will kill the remaining mites and wipe your blemishes.

Everybody in the family must do this routine else you are going to be reinfected.

Beddings should be laundered with hot water, and if you cannot change underwear with a fresh set, then launder with hot water and iron before use.

You must launder towels with hot water as well.

This infection is very stubborn but you can defeat it within one month of faithfulness to the regimen I've outlined.

You're quite right but don't need to use both permethrin and benzyl benzoate. You can use either of them.
Also, in your case which is becoming recurrent, one can add ivermectin to the benzoate nd repeat both after 10 days. Together with contact tracing of people around you've come in close body contact with , it usually gives above 90% cure rate. Something to reduce the itching for the meantime like loratidine may also be useful. Also it's necessary to cut ur finger nails before applying as they may hide there. Also the web spaces of ur digits and skin creases even between the buttock should be payed closer attention. In addition keep off ur usual clothes for 2-3 days so the mites can die.
Necessary to note that even upto 4 weeks after successful treatment, you may still be having itching. This does not mean treatment was not successful except new rashes start appearing.

Finally, you should see a dermatologist as there are a lot of skin conditions that may mimic scabies but are not and represent something more sinister going on below.

Just like comparing steam to dry heat. On the other hand, the dry heat in the North is likely to darken the skin more

That means each child has a 25% (1 in 4) chance of being SS. So a couple can have four and sll four would be AA or have four and all would be SS. It's all probability.

I'm about to buy a global ROM flashed phone (max 3). The global version is not yet out. Hope it wouldn't affect my network connectivity or should I just wait for the global version?

Global version= Phone sealed from factory and shipped with Global rom and has the 4G band 20.

Does the lack of LTE band 20 affect it's 4g usage with any network here in Nigeria?
