Please clearly state that this is your personal views and the views of your church probably and not what the bible states.
The bible is crystal clear, it states clearly that only by mutual consent do you deny each other of se-x and it shouldn't be for too long. The churches should not ruin marriages with their own doctrines. If you both decide to fast and pray it must be by mutual consent and not one partners decision.
