bawomolo:
bryan westbrook is more value to the eagles than mcnabb. he is one of the most underated RB's along with frank gore
Really?
Lets see. Take out McNabb from the eagles superbowl run few years ago and leave in Westbrook do you think they'D have even made the playoffs?

No doubt Westbrook holds his own, but if you're saying who's more valuable, it's hands down McNabb. And the eagles will soon find this out after McNabb leaves this year and ends up in your city of Chicago smiley.

I know right, 50cents 9bullets or whatever does not compare to this guys pain. sad the tragedy we humans do to ourselves is unspeakable sometimes.

Anyways in other Cowboy news:

I hear there has been some mumuring by TO about not getting enuff balls thrown his way? smiley somebody betta talk to him n make sure he doesn't have a Philly/McNabb repeat in Dallas. Ya'll got a good thing going if you can hold it together . . . geez the way everyone is talking about the loss, it's just 1game! undecided no cause for alarm at all.

Whats with these guys shooting up NFL players

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-jaguars-collier&prov=ap&type=lgns

Dude is paralyzed and had to be amputated cry cry
*from the article*
Kerwin said Collier suffered 14 bullet wounds to the back, left groin, left legs and right buttock. In addition, a bullet severed his spinal cord, causing the paralysis. The amputation was the result of damage to his left leg and groin, where blood clots formed. Five bullets alone were removed from his urinary bladder and the 26-year-old player also had bouts of pneumonia, infections and renal failure.

He was shot 14 times? shocked shocked sad sad Some people in this world are so cruel. I pray for the best for this poor guy, this is indeed sad. At least though he is still alive after 14 bulletts! that alone is a miracle in itself.

mean?

About your dream. The only thing of value anyone can give you now is to tell you to pray to God about it. Have you already done that? I guarantee you God is not sending you to a mosque like Alhaji suggests. The truth is only found in the bible and that is where you should go, not a church or mosque but look down into your bible AND you must sincerely pray about it and for relief from it. All the best.

An incomplete is 100times better than an INT. Romy needs to learn that.

TO tried now. The coverage on him was excellent. Did you see all those balls that were knocked just before he woulda caught it? It is Barber who coulda done a better job on the ground.

Well. . . . . atleast the Texans did better this week than the past weekend. Mayne the Jaguars were hard core, but my Houstonians tried their hardest. I mean I knew their focus was primarily on the red zone. Which worked out well for the Texans. Because the Jaguars defense was hella low. They must have prayed to God for nights for their Offensive team to pull through.

So what is the update for you Jesolo and 40oz?

After that DISGRACEFUL lose to the Dolphins, they need to take this time off and do some serious interventions. I mean what the hell happened during that game? That was suppose to be like a freaking scrimmage game but they went lost. What's next. . . . the Dolphins will beat the Giants.
At least we are 2-1 and have 3 SB rings still hanging on our fingers  cool . . . uhm . . . how many playoff appearances do the texans have in the past decade?  grin  cool

Joseph6,
how are you?  smiley  I don't want you to feel like you were ignored and I understand your concerns but no one is perfect my dear, we all fall short. Let us instead pray for those who you feel are being duplicitous that they'll grow in their walk with God and cut out anything in their lives that is not pleasing or glorifying to God. And there is nothing wrong with sharing songs or words here, I know that I am blessed many times by a song I'm reminded of or a word of encouragement. Godbless.

Gamine,
its funny you should ask that question . . . that SAME topic (communion) was taught in church yesterday smiley. AKO has already done justice to your questions and I'll just add a bit.

To take communion 'unworthily' can be in several ways.
1. An unworthy person (one who's not saved)
2. In an unworthy manner (like the corinthians did, getting drunk and gluttonizing the food)
3. Taking it for an unworthy purpose (for example like you mentioned Gamine, to get wealth or some kind of material favor)
4. Using an unworthy mindset (perhaps a believer who just takes for the the heck of it, without recognizing its deep significance.)

Also like AKO said, annointing and feet washing in the biblical perspective have no connection to producing or acquiring wealth or prosperity. We do see though that anointing was used to as a means in healing. For example:
Gamine:
okey.

I remember in camp, i was invited to an anointing service

and i talked deeply with one of the organisers.

i asked what the purpose was.

he said, impartation for good placement and jobs, also security.

i told him i will try to make it, but i couldnt.

It just didnt seat well with me.
is completely untrue and like my brotha said, is an abuse of the act of anointing. There are so many biblical things that todays church has taken and twisted and added their own 'meaning' and 'significance' to it. It's just plain sad and rest assured God will hold us all accountable for what we've done to His word.

Una trade Asante Samuel abi?
lol . . . I may be a die-hard Bostonian, but I'm also a realist smiley objectively and truthfully speaking, the Pats will be lucky to make the playoffs this year. With an aging defense and an offense in disarray without its general, its hard to expect much from them fellas but still we hope! cool Cinderalla stories hapen all the time.
The Pats woulda been insane to trade Asante, he was a free agent and simply went to the highest bidder smiley he did what 99% of players do - follow the money!

I'm lucky my dad didnt take up Islam strongly, even though his family is still currently islamic if not

i may have been in her shoes.
and I am glad you didn't have to go through that. I don't even remember getting or feeling any sense of "islam" coming from your home  smiley . . . although I remember clearly the folks in 418 were heavy muslims but they did welcome us into their house joyfully and often.

I didn't see anything that was "heated" to cause Seun to lock it or for him to ban Queenisha . . . nevertheless, that testimony will still spread and bring praise to the name of Jesus! Amen.

I tell you. Ist quarter of the first game after a record-braking season? talk about bad luck.
Yeah even the espn heads have been speculating that Moss might shut down n not play hard this season . . . I don't think so. He has too much to lose & nuthin to gain if he does that. We'll see. And Cassel has not shown he has the arm strength to make those deep throws downfield that is Moss' specialty. Our defense while good, is old. Our rushing  game should step up so Cassel won't need to make so many passes but mr dredlocks who was supposed to be a star RB has not shown anything yet. Now we'll see how genuis of a coach Belichick is or isn't

wel he's not coming back this season, earliest is next yr preseason. It's one of those injuries that a lotta athletes never come back from. We're just hoping for the best for him, it'd be such a shame for him to go out like that.

That Miami game was an aberration. Infact I predict the Pats will be so humiliated and embarrased they'll come back n step up their game immensely. We started 0-2 one yr we won the SB, 2-1 is not that bad in comparison.

He looks down at those who hate Him and He still reaches out to them, loves them and saves them - I cannot help but look at the atheists and muslims here on NL, and think that there is hope and we MUST PRAY for them!

God will bless and perfect all that concerns you my sista. I pray everyone who reads this thread will not leave the same way, I pray for the unbelievers to experience a new revelation of who God is, for the muslims to have their eyes opened and for the christians to hold steadfast to the faith we've received. Godbless Pilgrim, her father and mother and siblings. May all their lives be instruments unto God's glory and may they draw many into the kingdom and may they be counted among the faithful on that day.

Yeah I watched it. The Chargers appear to have a a few nice offensive options . . . that shorti Sprouls and his low center of gravity was just evading all the tackles - nice game.

Wasn't too suprised to see Bratt with 2 ints - he is the all-time record holder after all. But I'd like to see the Chargers have this kind of offensive display against a really good team, then I'll be completely sold on them.
