The government of the United state of America,to me are more humane.I shall never have sympathy for any extremist r religious fanatics,no matter how high or low they maybe. in case you are still have sentiment about mutallab's state of criminality, see what HIS type are doing to fellow human being, world over.Watch the video at your own discretion please as the slaughtering is very graphic and it can make CRINGE. http://news2.onlinenigeria.com/headlines/136317-gruesome-murder-of-man-by-boko-haram-video.html |

Bros,WHAT DID THE BOY DO?Lets put sentiment aside, I grew up in Ibadan and i know that (united secondary school)school very well. They should not pass the bulk of the blame on the poor preferences to NIGERIA's OFFICIAL SECOND LANGUAGE, PIDGIN.No tribe in Nigeria that does not understand pidgin."That school no get standard EFIAN" However, the teacher went far far out of his boundary and the reaction of the house of assembly on such matter is biased. From the speaker to the cleaners. If the case is allowed to go to court, trust me,the teacher will loose the case in 10 seconds, hands down.while it will be a case of no victor no vanquished. |
Just as some peeps have voiced their opinion and still doing same on BB,The teacher SHOULD NOT have asked the boy to STRIP, and upon refusal FLOGGED him. HE could have as well TELL him to live and come back with his parents.Lets be realistic,If it was your son or daughter that was flogged that way (with visible bruises all over his back),most of us on nairaland would have brought the roof down that same hour ( i know i would). And as for speaking pidgin english, come on,wetin bad for dere ; ? how many of them at the oyo house of assembly can speak concise, clear and standard english or make a statement without additional Yoruba accent overtaking the proper pronunciation e.g EIGHT as HEIT, HOUR as AWA, THE as DEThose remarks made against that boy regarding his PRESENTATION by the lower house member is just based on TRIBAL intolerance and cynism please. "IGBO boy and im papa, rack yoruba man for im papa soil.Eewo orisa!" |
YOu no want make Jona to "chop" well well before he go comot? After the expiration for his tenure, you should not be surprised he will be singing a different tune. |
well,i supposse my dear Sanusi Lamido Sanusi should be "smiling" NOW. More SKILLED JOBLESS Nigerians on the street. |
[b]A Houdini escape: driver survives a 20-ton boulder dropping on car roof[/b When i saw the Toyota car crushed by the telecoms tower on obalende bridge heading towards ikoyi,on Monday after the storm that killed a school teachers,i was so amazed and praising the AWESOMENESS of God for the survival of both the driver and passenger. However, when i saw this headline of the miraculous survival of yet a crushing accident by a HUGE BOULDER stone,i say KAUNAR JESU!!! Read the story Ludovic Masciave, 36, was driving his car through the Arly Gorge in the French Alps when a 20 ton boulder crashed onto the roof of his vehicle. Amazingly, Masciave survived the crash and is recovering in a local hospital, according to Landov. "I remember the impact of the rock," Masciave told French newspaper Le Parisien. "I'd been driving slowly at between 40 and 50 kilometres [25 to 31 miles] an hour when suddenly there was a terrible shock which brought the vehicle to a sudden halt. I immediately lost consciousness." Analyzing the photo, it's nearly impossible to imagine how Masciave escaped from the vehicle alive. The entire vehicle appears smashed under the weight of the 20 ton rock. The Daily Mail reports that the vehicle was so damaged that rescue workers couldn't even determine the make and model of Masciave's vehicle. Naturally, they assumed the driver didn't survive. And yet he lived, despite injuries that include flattened lungs and several broken ribs. Fortunately, Masciave is expected to make a full recovery. He says he plans to sue the local government for not removing the boulder earlier. He was flown to a local hospital in Albertville, France where he is still scheduled to undergo several operations before being released. "The space was very restricted. It could be measured in centimeters," Masciave told Le Parisien, referring to the inside of the car. "All I was thinking about was stopping the pain. When firefighters were able to open the door I was finally relieved of the huge pressure of the rock." and if you have any similar miraculous experience, please share with the world. You never can tell whose FAITH might just be rekindled.

Good gracious God.How could this officer be this daft to doubt or think he could meddle with an IED as if its a banger.Did you see how he was blown into bits and pieces while those with heavy gear were standing at some distance probably betting if the bomb is real or not. This just makes US,Nigerians look stupid at our approach to security and especially terrorist issues.Kai,that guy wasted within splits of seconds.Just like that. |
IF by 7.00pm-8.00 pm i dont see any stand down, checking points even right of police stations and not just along the eve busy akowonjo to ikotun road, then i would believe they have complied. but till then, these men in black are jus hiding while idling around to see if the police task force are cruising round. |
chuksikem:my broda,if you travel to ibadan and arrive at toll gate chalenge anytime from 6.00pm the traffic you will experience is comparable to iyana-ipaja-osodi traffic. and likewise that of UI-Agbowo-sango poly road to eleyele. Not to talk of some other areas within ibadan metro.Reason, lots of cars, vans, suvs and buses have filled up the traffic. So lots of people now uses cars, and i mean CARS not toys. I was surprised when last i went there myself.Search for any brand of american spec SUV in lagos, you will find same in Ibadan> But on this train issue, abeg, they should simply privatise it (as is the practise in Nigeria now) and perhaps we might begin to see the type in photos posted here by a fellow nairalander. |
Comrados,I still commend Sanusi for his move. Afterall how many governors, senators,LG chairmen or councilors thought it wise to DONATE to the affected people and communities even where they represent? None. It's a case of everyone to yourselves. |
As it was since the beginning (western region era), So is Now, as so shall it be with NRC for evermore,Amen. come ol boy you need to see the one in kaduna.Theres little or no difference and Billions of naira had been CLAIMED spent on the railway. |
fellow countrymen, what do you expect from the LEGISLOOTERS?support SNC which will invariably knock off their millions upon millions of salaries and allowances. Asking them to support SNC is of no use.Unfortunately of more of insurgency arises, all over the country, then they will be the ones to ask for SNC. just my opinion though. |

I live in the US so I can only speak of here. It has been made significantly difficult to find work as an "Undocumented Alien". The best advice I have it is to not leave Nigeria without some documentation but the choice is yours. You also need to define green pastures. Is green pastures making a successful residence here in the US or is ti just a a place of employment? You can drive a cab, live prudently (rent a room) and send $3,000 home a month.
