You see the problem of Nigeria are Nigerians themselves. The average Nigerian man is selfish by nature and only does what will favour him, even at the expense of others. Now a rogue police unit called SARS have been intimidating, maiming and killing innocent Nigerians, yet the Federal Government refused to take drastic actions to deal with the issue. It's almost like the government are okay with what SARs were doing. Now Nigerians decided to speak up and protest peacefully, some people decided to colour the protests up, whipping up ethnic and political sentiments. The comments from some Northerners on this issue was so disappointing. SARS would never try this rubbish in the North, so they don't understand the magnitude of this. And because they do not, they decide to conclude that Endsars protesters are trying to overthrow the government. Its so sad sha. So we should all have kept shut and the killings continued? Now the protests were hijacked by some hoodlums (which is applicable in every country of the world where protests are carried out), which led to wanton destruction of properties and massive looting. So the government is now looking for who to pin the blame on, they now decided to go after the social media influencers by blocking their bank accounts and hounding and intimidating them. Nigeria is such a joke of a country. My advice to any well meaning Nigerian is to try and save up some money, process your visa and leave this country which you can and never return. With the rate at which this is going, I doubt if there is still hope for this country. Everyone is so selfish and won't mind benefitting from where many people are suffering. Such a shame.

The Lagos state government is already cooking up a counter lie to tell Nigerians on what happened. They know that they cannot admit to instructing soldiers to open fire on unarmed civilians. Nigerians already know the truth and the repercussion is the wanton damage carried out in the state last week. That is Lagos state's punishment.

The system is wired to make you feel like you are a dumbo, and give you poor grades that will practically make your search for a job useless. Only in Nigeria will a B.sc holder be forced to do a job that pays 40k. Yet you go to any University abroad, put in the same amount of effort, and you come out in flying colours and then come back to Nigeria and employers will be rushing you with 200k abd above salaries. Nigeria is just messed up. Its gotten so bad that even Nigerians do not trust the system they created anymore.

Based on merit. Thats is what obtains in saner climes, unlike our dear Nigeria where the candidate has to know one big man that will connect him to another big man at the top based on tribal and religious sentiments. Are not just messed up like this in Nigeria?
