This pretty lady joined our company in 2019, She is a junior staff, she works directly under me. At first I didn't like her, in fact I'm more friendly with other ladies in the office than with her, but in 2020 those who were my friends left, and I was left with no option than to be more friendly with her. Within few months we became very close.

She is very beautiful, smart, and very intelligent, She loves me and she always show it, I love her too but I didn't come out to tell her I love her, though I always care for her anytime, others think we were dating, in fact many people say it to our face.

Now my feeling for her is very strong. I belief she knows this too, for some time now she always wants to be around me.

To cut the story short, the management gave her a sack letter early this month, meaning today is her last day in the office.

NOTE her sacking has nothing to do with my relationship with her, I'm seriously missing her already. For over two years in that office she is not in any relationship, but now she is dating one guy, and she is leaving Today.

Good morning Nairalanders! Have got this pressing issue, I need your advise on.

There is this business friend to my dad, who is in his early forties, he once asked me out for a relationship but I declined because he his married with two lovely children

So I have been on vacation from my job for some weeks now, so I decided to spend time in my family house
so three days ago he brought this job offer to me that I should be his new secretary since his old secretary have relocated abroad, I told him I will get back to him

Pls guys I am just confused and scared, I mean this man once asked me out and me being his secretary means we will be close to each other, I don't want any case of rape or sexual assault from him

Plus his new job salary is almost ×2 of my present job salary!

Could his intentions be pure or could it be that I am overreacting or reading too much meaning to this

Should I accept the job offer from him or not!
Pls I need your critical advise

Please, I don't want to be judged. My husband is a good man. We have been married for 14 years. I am 33 years old. He is 39 years old. We have 4 kids - 3 girls and 1 boy. He has never cheated on me. Right from day 1, he has been very open. He is not the type of husband that locks phone and all of that. But I am tired. He has the habit of flaring up around the children and I don't like it. I don't want my kids to be damaged. I know some will say no marriage is perfect but at this point, I don't even want marriage again. I just want to be free and single and look after my kids. I am tired.

Anytime we have an argument, he always talks about how he did this and that for me. In front of the children. I don't want this kind of life. He hardly gets angry, maybe twice or thrice in a year but when he does, he does not have the sense to know he should not be doing it in front of the kids. He apologizes to them and to me but I am done.

He has no other issue apart from this. He has never beaten me or anything but I am tired. Overall he is a good husband to be fair and honest but I can no longer deal with this. I prefer to be single and free than deal with this rubbish.

I feel like pouring out my heart.

Nigerians destroy the country more than the leaders do. We don't have a national resolve to make this country working as a people. We just use words of mouth to deceive ourselves.

I just concluded my service year on February 2022....barely a month ago and I'm still job hunting, although I have submitted so many applications but the job invites that are coming through are from lagos.

I'm currently in the east. Don't have anybody to stay with in Lagos for now. Now, I'm somebody that like to get a work in career or field that does not allign with my course of study, remember...I studied Animal and Environmental Biology and I came out with a good 2:1. In terms of job opportunities in Nigeria in respect to what I studied, it is very limited and chances of me getting in a job is very slim considering Nigeria factors as I don't have any connection.

A friend adviced me to go for my masters abroad and I told him, there is no money to do the initial processes although I believe in myself that I can get full funding if I apply but the money to write the necessary exams is not around, reason I'm trying my best to get a work of any kind that doesn't necessarily require what I did in school. So many people are doing it and if I ask them, they will say, they got it through graduate trainees and entry level roles in organizations and firms

I'm somebody that likes working in logistics company and as a customer representative but the major hindrance I'm having right now, is not having the experiences that will make me to work in those fields. Some, if not all of the job offers I always come across require for 1-3 years experience which I Don't have.

So guys, what's the best way to get through this? Just one month out of service and I'm already feeling bored at home doing nothing apart from helping my parents in the farm works and reading a basic course on UI/UX designing?

Please any advice of any kind is duely welcomed. Insults are welcomed too. I out here to learn because, nobody knows it all.

About digital skills....I can write but currently don't have a system to do the job again.

Good morning

I gained admission to study in a federal university in Nigeria in 2019 but due to ASUU strike I didn't resume until 2021.

During the wait,I decided I wanted to study in Canada.So I applied to Canadian schools before I resumed in the federal university last year.

Before the end of 100level,I applied for my visa in October and due to delay I had to defer to Sept 2022.

My parents said I should continue studying in the federal university pending the time I get my visa.

The issue is I was asked to withdraw from my faculty in school because I didn't get the required points to move to 200 level.
My parents are advising me to change to a lower course that I can't sit at home that it would bring disgrace to them.

Right now, I'm so confused.Should I listen to their advice or wait for my visa and learn skills while waiting
