ukaface: As the saying goes, all work and no play makes….. a dull person. But, in this situation money was spent alongside the play🤣😂. My friends and I made a schedule to have our leave same time to enable us go for a vacation in Morocco and yeah! It did work out. Departure was from LGW to Marrakech- RAK
PS: plane transportation can never be my favourite means, it’s sooooo inconveniencing 🤭🤣
So I decided to post some pictures, Morocco was hot AF 43 degrees, my skin was literally on fire and I was even scared of getting dark
So our itinerary was : a visit to Ouzoud waterfall
Camel riding and quad biking
Dinner in a goooooood restaurant
Beach at Essaouira
Took a tour of the city with the horse
Shopping
Pool day
Body massage at MarajahSpa
And guess what? When we got to Morocco we started looking for Nigerian restaurant near me🤣🤣, e choke! Moroccan dishes wasn’t doing anything Aswear! Next time, research and pick the right time of the year to go. Lol. Nigerians are notorious for doing that anywhere they go. First they usually ask for is egusi soup. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: President Paul Biya Changes Military Formation In Cameroon by JuanDeDios: 12:15pm On Aug 31, 2023 |
Tntsi: This is 2023. Africa has woken up. Autocratic democracy is no democracy. State capture democracy is no democracy. Unconstitutional democracy is no democracy.
If we can't have a clear election and our elected leaders, then we don't need democracy.
If you like sack everybody and bring in anybody. You will only succeed in putting the people that will take you down. The wind is blowing and it will blow you away. It's not waking up. It's racing back to the Stone Age. Military coups take us back decades. The fact they're happening in 2023 is just sad. |

Ukraine is losing the war yet Russian’s casualties are far greater keep on using propaganda until there’s no one left in Ukrainian. The comedian has absolutely achieved nothing in this war. Ukraine has not joined NATO or EU, you’ve lost four regions , weaponry, soldiers, civilians, economy and territory. Russia has something to show for the war despite suffering casualties. Not true. When you're attacked, your set achievement is to defend yourself. He's done that so far. |
Politics › Re: President Kagame Attends Nigerian Governors' Leadership Retreat In Kigali by JuanDeDios: 7:46am On Aug 28, 2023 |
hammerT: Sit tight and deliver, no problem. What is Mr Kagame delivering? And why do you think it's ok to destroy institutions for future generations just because you're "delivering"? Do you know that if your philosophy is accepted every leader will sit tight since they all "deliver" in their own eyes? |

Food › Re: Indomie Generation Doesn't Know The Drink Called Goldspot And Olo by JuanDeDios: 6:53pm On Aug 27, 2023 |
Throwback: Even my siblings and cousins born in the late 1970s ate indomie in the mid 1990s when they were in the university and also at home.
So they all drank Gold Spot, Limca, and Tandi Guarana up to the 1990s just as us who were born in the 1980s.
So if those born in the late 1970s still ate Indomie and Maggi 2-minute Noodles as teenagers in the mid 1990s to qualify as Indomie generation also, what then is the need for these incessant questions over the years about Indomie generation not knowing things that existed in the 1980s or 1990s when those born in the 1970s also qualify as indomie generation as I have proven. Lol. I think the appellation "indomie generation" refers to those who ate noodles AS KIDS. But, yes, it's a flawed appellation. |

raskymonojendor: The Ukrainians would be very happy. However, Nigeriens, Malians, Burkina Fasos, and Guineans will be sad.
With Wagner in Mali, the terrorists and jihadist had already taken over half of the country. Now that Wagner is gone, they will just take over the rest of the country from the Mali military junta. They would still have taken over with Wagner anyway. Well, you're right: Wagner would have defended their base and the military "president" would have a place to hide at least. |

Music/Radio › Re: FM Radio Presenters In Nigeria In the 1980s, '90s And Early 2000s by JuanDeDios: 9:32pm On Aug 22, 2023 |
naptu2: Raypower The very first private radio station actually began broadcasting without permission from government. The station debuted sometime in the middle of the year (broadcasting on 100MHz), then they were ordered to shut down by the NBC, then they legally started transmission towards the end of the year on 100.5MHz.
It virtually wiped out OGBC and RN2 from the airwaves. They were broadcasting from Alagbado, but they had a relay station on Bookshop House in Marina, thus their signal was clearer across Lagos than OGBC and RN2's signals. They poached a lot of talent from OGBC and Radio Nigeria. People like Ambrose Shomide and Momoh Kubanje joined the station. They had presenters like "This is Ray Power 100.5 FM." I was three states away from Lagos and used to hear that clearly. But only Sunday mornings. I used to wonder 'what is RayPower 100.5 FM?' Until one guy told me 'Na Lagos that one dey.' I used to tune in on Sunday mornings. 1994/1995, that was. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Uncontrollable Wildfires Rage In Canada As Thousands Evacuate Cities ( Pics) by JuanDeDios: 10:36pm On Aug 19, 2023 |
jacobs2015: Not until these residents reason genuinely with their senses and ask their leaders some intelligent questions, they'll keep attributing this wide fire of a thing to a natural disaster.
A wide fire melting alloy rims of cars on the road in the US, yet the road made of asphalt remains untouched. The trees remain as calm as they could, yet they keep telling them it's as a result of dry wind and fuel present in the cars.
FYI, Russia has the highest number of trees in the world. Brazil has a higher number of trees than the US. Why is this wild fire prevalent in the US, Canada and sometimes in Australia? Is dry forest and woods not present in Africa? Why is there no record of such? Why only in America?
Aluminum has a melting point of over 600°C, bitumen is approx 550°C while asphalt max is approx 400°C. Yet, the so called wildfire is melting aluminum and even its alloy but can't melt asphalt/bitumen.
Anyways, the bigger the head, the bigger the ache. Let the weapon testing continue at the expense of the gullibles.
By the time this becomes a success, nuclear weapons will become outdated. So the Yanks are testing new secret weapons on themselves and Aussies every year. This is a new one. |

Subsidy beneficiaries are currently facing the music.
The parallel market needs a courageous decision against from the president if we want our naira to have value again
N206 profit without manufacturing anything to improve the economy of the country after collecting dollars from the bank is terrorism and economic sabotage But the parallel market is not the problem. "Official window" is. The former exists because of the gross inadequacies of the later. |
