What a crazy Sinful world filled with Deceits and Deceived.
See how old mama is being Deceived and she is shinning her teeth.
You people discourage sex outside marriage and encourage marriage. This man has proposed so they can get married. Where is the sin in that naa? Or is it only when the man is older that the matrimony is holy? What do you people want sef?

She cannot 'endorse' public execution. She can only urge that the suspect be prosecuted and if the court finds him guilty and the penalty is public execution, so be it.

Reporters should stop arrogating powers to those who don't have them.
I agree with you 100%. But I want to believe that she's advocating that after the man's trial his execution should be carried out in public like it's done in some countries.

Lagos is one of the dirtiest slums in the world. You guys are making it look like exactly the opposite with these isolated pictures.
There are slums in Lagos. But these places here aren't isolated. They're very much Lagos. As much as the slums.

Politics › Re: 2023: Who Do You Think Should Be Tinubu's Running Mate? by JuanDeDios: 4:14pm On Jan 17, 2022
Omicron007:
It is no longer news that frontline Lagos politician Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja recently where he informed him of his decision to contest the apex political seat in the country in 2023.

Since that visit, social media pages have been awash with Tinubu's life long ambition of being the president of this country.
A stroll on Nairaland's politics section would confirm that the polity is gradually being heated up concerning the race for who would succeed Buhari come 2023.

Tinubu's candidacy is a trending topic on this forum and a lot of political enthusiasts are airing their voice by drumming support for him or standing against him.

However, let us look at a certain scenario.
Who do you think would be Tinubu's running mate?
This is a very dicy situation concerning the fact that Tinubu is a Southern Muslim and it will not be acceptable by the general population if he fields a Northern Muslim as his running mate.

Who do you think is the best choice for Vice-President?
Bolded is the issue? Run with a Northern Christian then. Funny country.

It is high time the government made cross dressing a punishable crime. Social media and bloggers are also not helping by constantly pushing these perverts in our faces and keeping them in the news.

Do you guys really need anybody to tell you that Tinubu is the leading aspirant for 2023 already? He’s the most talked about and the one shaping 2023 conversation. All other aspirants are simply struggling to catch up. This is exactly how Trump won the US election in 2016.
This is true.

That's right, you didn't support Asiwaju expressly in that post. You merely questioned something Mr Osinbajo allegedly said. I think you guys would support either of the two but if it comes to a fight between the two, you'd support Mr Tinubu. This preference is what I'm trying to understand why.

So you're supporting Tinubu, a business-as-usual type who will keep the status quo and probably spend time in London hospitals like Buhari, over Osinbajo, a fit and intelligent man who understands business and has shown that he can do a good job in the few opportunities he's had? Interesting.

IPIGSRHYPO:
Nope

I beg where did your leaders come from? Are they from another country or planet?
Your leaders are a true representation of the people in the country. Your leadership is a microcosm of what you are.
Remove all the present leaders today and replace them with youths on NL, activists, and other ordinary Nigerians and I can guarantee you that it will be the same or even worse.
The fact of the matter is that the average Nigerian is greedy, selfish and have very little concern about their larger community, they care mostly about themselves.
Until you have a large part of your society who actually cares more about othere/community than themselves, you will continue to have the kind of leadership that you have now.
It's not rocket science, it's simple logic.
You stated the problem correctly (blue). But your solution (red) is wrong because it's impossible. A large part of society can't suddenly change. Leadership is top-down, not bottom-up. One person (leader) can make a difference by starting the process of change.
Travel › Re: Canada Rush: What Desperate Nigerian Asylum Seekers Are Saying About Nigeria by JuanDeDios: 4:39pm On Jan 04, 2022
Nonpartisan1:
That is the problem of an average Nigerian. We tend to abuse, saturate and make mockery every opportunity we get.

Open say, a recharge card vending business in a location in a small street, before you say, jack 100 of Nigerians would abandon every other Business they were into, and open the same business as your in that same location, before long, everywhere would saturated and that particular kind of business killed off.

I can bet, perhaps one person cheated through this means and succeeded in seeking asylum, he started calling other people back home to come and explore the same illegal route, and now the whole mess.

Yeye people! Canada Govt should jail them before repatriation.
Post is spot on. But I doubt these folks would mind being jailed at all as long as it's in CANADA. grin

The stupid girl did not provide any free legal assistance. In fact, she stole the Bitcoin donated through FEMCO for the protest. Maybe you’ve not been keeping tab with the recent development concerning that crooked and mischievous lady.
I followed that story. The issue here is whether Ms Odele did anything criminal – by defending people, which is what a lawyer does.

Whether FEMCO (which I understand Ms Odele is not a member of) embezzled donated funds or whether indeed Ms Odele was paid millions by FEMCO is a different issue. It's ok to dislike this lady but we shouldn't mix up the issues.

The stupid girl think everywhere is Nigeria where they do nonsense and get away with it. The fact that government refused to prosecute folks like her who instigated the destruction of Lagos in 2020 doesn’t mean natural justice won’t take its course.

The Nigeria mission in Kenya should have allowed her to rot in Kenya jail. Folks like her who do everything and use every opportunity to bring down the country should not benefit from the goodwill of the country. They will all pay for their crimes against the country one way or the other.
So Ms Odele's arrest in Kenya is the universe punishing her for providing legal assistance to illegally detained ENDSARS protesters. I see.
