Agent charging me 2.2 million naira for 3 months non appearance Turkey tourist visa. Please Nairalanders, is the price okay?

CC Justwise
Please don't start this year like this, even if you stole that money at least don't waste it.

You can not fill visa application form? What else will the agent do for you?
TravelRe: Should I Move To The UK Or Return To Nigeria? by justwise(mod): 9:31am On Jan 01, 2022
GeneralDae:
An average middle man in Germany and UK ( especially Germany) do not have lands and their own houses. They just work and pay almost half of the salary to the Government as taxes. It is easier for an average or middle class man in Nigeria to buy a land as an investment than for the average white man.
Ask yourself, the people paying 11 million naira or 15 million naira from Nigeria to the UK or 8 million for Germany's blocked account are doing okay. What they lack are the basics from the Government. People in Germany get shocked when you reveal to them that you spent 10000 Euros or 7 million naira for studies, many of them get help from Government. In America many are into debts.
I'm not against relocating abroad when struggling but my logic is that one who can get 10 million naira in Nigeria or one doing well should consider and plan properly if it's really worth it.
How do you know that?

@justwise Compliments of the season. While you are here let me repeat a question asked earlier without response. The oanda rate used is that of the date you submit your online application or the date of your biometrics? With the way this pounds is rising on Oanda I have to check. Someone with a margin of extra 1.5m on top of the amount required at todays rate shld be safe right? Hoping it will not appreciate past that by the 4th.
The date of application

It's not ooo.
I don't pray people should have type of my issues.
Na woman wahala. It's because I have invested much on this that's why I want to endure and secure the Visa for us, then when we get there I can now divorce her peacefully.
This is not a clever idea. Don’t do it

Do you mean both of them can still remain in the UK without any issues? most especially the husband has been the dependant. what type of VISA will the husband obtain.
The husband can switch to student visa if he can afford it or look for job with sponsorship

@justwise and all others elite.
If a couple secure a student visa.
Wife(applicant
Husband (dependant)
Baby 6months( dependant) and they got to the UK, after six months and they divorce.
What will be their faith, I mean what is the consequences?
Depends on what the wife plans to do after the visa expires but I will suggest that the husband change visa now before it’s too late.

I like where the HRGuy said "in my admittedly biased" opinion. That's because there is no right or recommended answer to your request for advice, all you're going to get are opinions.

I have 3 children, and I also looked after my children when we first arrived and I hadn't gotten a day job. No biggie, I still do it.
However, if I have one child like you do, I will put her in [affordable] daycare right away and take any day job that pays enough to cover the costs and leave me with something. I did not enjoy sitting at home during the winter months with 3 children, separating fights and getting homework done, only coming out in the evening when it was already dark to march off to a night job which I did not enjoy. I was unable to get anything much done in the day time or even get to know the new city I was living in, because marching 3 children around to the city to explore was definitely not something I had much energy for.

Again, our Nigerian women dey try in many ways, and I'm no sexist bigot, but do not leave your madam as the sole reasonable earner for any length of time.

They will soon come for my head, so make I tune out first.
Very very important point.

It's hard work especially if in the hospital or nursing home. Physically demanding and can be monotonous. Quite a bit of personal care - washing, changing incontinent pads, showering where required, feeding including actually spoon feeding like you would a baby. For clients with mobility issues, there's hoisting in and out of bed, chairs etc. Some are bed bound, so there's turning the client to avoid bedsores as well. Emptying catheters, cleaning colostomy bags if any. Shifts can be long - breaks are very welcome and sometimes, that's all the break you get unless you smoke haha

On the other hand, some can be relatively easy where the client is mainly mobile and capable and needs supervision and guidance - ie reminding them to wash, brush, cut food into smaller pieces, cook for them, take them out for walks, appointments etc. This is also same for learning disability care as well. Although with learning disability, some of the clients can also exhibit violent and aggressive tendencies to include hitting, biting, spiting etc.

There's palliative care - end of life stage - where clients have a syringe driver in and are basically waiting to die so likely also nil by mouth, tube fed and maybe intubated and the support worker's role is to keep them comfortable. So there isn't much to do apart from sitting around and ensuring their comfort.

Nights vary in different places but day support is almost always harder - although you're also not allowed to sleep on shift at night but there can be differences and nuances in different providers. Some will have a sleep in person.

There's also support work for supporting children in care - neurotypical children and or those with LD as well. It's very very similar to a teacher/ parent/ guardian role. You do get lots of being sworn at, rooms thrashed, some fixating behaviour etc.

Support work will also have you despairing about humanity and oyinbo life in general. You get the see the best and worst of humanity and realise that wahala and family drama full everywhere
This post is getting a lot of people banned for no reason, please avoid quoting it.

My point is that they have the right to do that without thinking about invading your privacy

But why should they check your bank statement or card. Like they will bring out pos to check your Account? Is that not invading someone's privacy?
If you have ever watched ITV Heathrow airport program you would have seen where they drag a Nigerian to ATM machine at the airport to check the money he claimed to have for the visit, it turns out that he lied but luckily for him a friend he was visiting here agreed to pay money into his account and the immigration checked and saw the money before allowing him in.

She has to book and do the test with another provider, there is no other way out

Please someone close to me miss her covid 19 test after her arrival in Nigeria. Actually she has done already vaccinated for covid in her host country and have covid 19 certificate for vaccination in her hand.

She pay over there in her host country and the organization on the list of accredited organization she took refuse to give her the date for the test and she assumed that it will be 7days after her arrival because last time she came the test was done 7days after her arrival but unfortunately the suppose organization that suppose to conduct the test insisted that she suppose to do the teat 2days after her arrival in Nigeria and they refer her to Lagos state biobank located in Yaba but she cannot find any of the staff on duty due to the Christmas celebration because she went there on Sunday think that they will be on ground to attend to her but they told her she should come on Wednesday which is yesterday gotten there they told her she had stay long before she reported for test that she will need to pay fine at task force office in oshodi. Gotten there they told here she will need to wait for court to determine how much fees she will pay. She waiting for the day she will face the court now.

Please if there is anyone in the house that has pass through that know what to do to address this should please help us. I don't know what to do to help her in this situation because she only came to greet family and return back
I was in that situation two weeks ago, I was called to do day 2 pcr test a day after I arrived Nigeria and I told them that I will not be able to do it as I’m travelling for my mum burial in the east. They insisted that I have to do it within 2days and not 7days as the rule stated before. I did not do the test on day 2, after the burial I went to their office on day7 for the test and I was allowed to do it without extra charger.

All your guest needs to do now is to book a test with another approved provider and get the test done. Ignore their court nonsense and don’t get panic attack about this. The most important thing is that the test is done within 7days after arriving Nigeria and 48/24hrs before her departure.

Different dad kwa? Same dad, Reason for refusal is because dad is not travelling.she is 3years, the one given will be 5years by January.
All the ECO wants to know is who will be looking after those kids while you study since the daddy will not be traveling.

Single mums do get a visa but you have to convince the ECO that your kids wellbeing in the UK is taken care of.

Even as your mum may likely come but she is not part of the solution visa-wise.

1. Arrange school/day care for your kids that covers time and days you will be at the university

2. Contact the day care/school and make inquiry then get respondent evidence for visa purposes.

3. Provide financial document to show that you are financially capable of taking care of those kids for the next one year

4. Explain this in a letter to the ECO that you have made arrangement for your kid with evidences and attach them to AR package.

Good Afternoon Everyone, Please I have just gotten a mail from UkVi requesting for additional documents.
They asked for a consent letter to use the POF signed by both my parents. I already submitted one from my Mother during my application but they are now requesting that both parents sign.
However, my father is late and as such cannot sign.
Will submitting a new dated consent letter from my mother and my father's death certificate suffice please? @justwise and co, your response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Perfectly ok.

I dont think they can check your acct balance. No bank will give out that info. The best they can do is ask for you to reprint your statement and then confirm the authenticity of it with the bank.

Others can confirm though.

But really, I will be shocked to know any bank will formally divulge a customers bank balance. If they want to confirm anything outside the days you presented on the statement, they will have to ask you to initiate the request.
This is not true, we have debated, argued about this for years here. the embassy will get info they need from your bank if they want to, if your bank refused to corporate or not reply their inquiry your visa will be refused. Over the years here many have been refused for submitting fake bank statement or removing money after submitting application.

People will argue about this but when they get refused and banned they get another ID and come here to ask how to go about appealing the refusal.

You are not my favourite person justwise but when it’s time to call a spade a spade I would. truth be told a lot of these guys you are arguing with probably are living in denial it’s a stage which I understand because I’ve lived in Ukraine myself. They know you’re saying the truth but they choose to deny it. Ukraine really has nothing to offer other than the easier path of moving to better countries. Their PR is useless as far as I’m concerned ( you stupid agents and yahoo boys pls don’t even try and quote me I’ll not even give you a reply cus I’m tired of y’all).
Any meaningful young man or woman wanting a better future for themselves wouldn’t stay in Ukraine. I’m not just talking from hearsay I’ve lived and seen Ukraine from every perspective I still have friends there that are packing their bags now to move to other counties because all Ukraine does is rob you of everything you have. The matter long Abeg short and long of it is have a plan and whatever that plan is it should not include you spending the rest of your days in Ukraine. If you choose to na your papa business me I don talk my own. All man with Wetin dey worry me. Ciao.
My posts are not targeted at those ones, my concerns are for those planning to move to Ukraine and paying crooks $$$$ to get a visa.

These crooks both in Nigeria and Ukraine lied to prospective students that visa is guaranteed if they pay $$$$, they sale IV letter to them then target their school fees when they arrived in Ukraine, I'm only after those people.

My apologies. But others gave you advice about that already especially with regards to the kind of place Ukraine is but you were adamant with your opinionsand perception about Ukraine that is why I decided to chip in. Don't feel bad. I also concluded plans to study in Ukraine but I decided not to at the last minute after doing more due diligence. Mind you, while Ukraine unis that offer the course I planned to study had bad reputations, the ones that offer the course you study could actually have great reputation. For example, when it comes to physics, Ukrainian universities are excellent. I also think that Engineering in a good number of their unis are miles better than many other places. My major point is that you should do enough research so that you can pick a good one. In fact, you could find one that is comparable or even better than the unis in more developed EU countries.

Regards.
I only wish we have more people like you here. people who are not afraid of telling the truth, keep doing what you are doing.
