Heritagee: My husband's and son's application is still ongoing. Can I concurrently apply for my mum? I really need them around during the delivery NB: The address I'll use for my mum will be different as I've just moved to a new house. Hope this won't affect the application? Yes you can apply for your mum and explain why you have two different addresses, just you stated here that you have moved house since the previous application. |

SBadejo: Good day everyone
Please I need a sincere answer.. Am thinking of migrating to UK permanently on work purpose, although I don't know anyone there and I haven't got any offer yet, my question is how do I go about it in securing a job while still in Nigeria, secondly should I apply for work visa, or visit Visa because I have heard some people saying that once the visit visa is granted I can use the opportunity to look for job while still in the country although I don't support false documents.. I will love to go there clean and continue my work as mechanical engineer
Pls your contributions will be highly appreciated Start your job search here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-k-shortage-occupation-listDon't waste your time and money getting visiting visa with the hope of working with it because it's not possible |

Kenttoday: Happy New month all. I am here again with questions
Please regarding the accommodation requirements, I need advise I currently stay with parent in a two bedroom house with two living rooms
I have my own room. My brother who is not living with us is on the property name as shared owner. Same house is being occupied by two young children under 10 years old and another adult over 10 years.
Will this be regarded as over crowding please?
Another option is to use another relative house who has 4 bedrooms, 1 living room which is open space to the kitchen. This house accommodates 1 couple and one daughter and two sons that are over 10 years. Will this be okay to use? You need to contact property inspector to determine that but if you asked me I will say..says it’s overcrowding. How about renting one bedroom flat for 6month? |

Glad I had the good sense to come ask for clarifications here.
Mom was already breathing down my neck to send advance this afternoon but I told her to relax let me ask a few questions around.
Thank you Chief. Your mum has a lot of money to do away with |

Ahijo1990: Good day guys,
Pls I want to enquire about the genuineness of an offer to process Visa to Canada.
A Priest I know said he has 20 slots for job offers in Canada and is processing the visa for 1.230m. Said visa is for 5 years. Immediate job and accommodation upon arrival.
Pls I want to enquire if there's any provision like this for Canada before I will fritter away my little savings. I would appreciate every response. If there is, does it require the usual ielt exam like applicants for permanent residence? That person is not a priest just another scammer. There is nothing like what that thief told you |

labiowo: Her mum is presently living in US,she was in support of her visiting UK and my major concern is that hope her circumstances won't affect my own application? Thanks Apply separately else you may find it difficult to explain the situation. A 7yrs old left by both parents and now they want you to take her to the U.K to visit the daddy. I will be surprised if any of you is given a visa based on this situation. You may be accused of child trafficking |

seunice01: Good evening sir, please I need your candid advice. I intend to attend a conference organised by British Society of Animal Science which will be held at Edinburgh Scotland. Although am a postgraduate member of the society. Sir I had paid for the conference £180 for students member and I also got an invitation letter from them. The registrar of my school had also given me a letter of introduction.
Sir I intend to use my supervisors statement of account, although am paying for my flight and accommodation but just that I don't have the money in bulk rather it's coming in piece meal from my poultry business. Do I have to submit my own personal account statement too? Or just my supervisor own?
Also I had traveled to UAE in 2014 and was also fortunate to get US visit visa in 2015 but I was returned at the point of entry and landed a five year ban. ( No criminal offence o). Sir, but this passport had expired and I already got a new one. Should I tell them of my US visit in my form? Should I go with the former passport.
Your candid advice sir @justwise That will not help your application by any chance, you have to proof that you are financially capable of sponsoring yourself fro the trip. |

Jyyes: Dear justwise, good evening and thank you for the wonderful thing you’re doing here. Please I have a question. I had applied for the UK visit visa with my wife in October 2018 and we were giving 6 months visas each as first timers. We travelled to the UK in November and came back to Nigeria after 15 days. First question is, can I reapply in March before the expiration of the visa which is 25th April? because I plan to travel in May. Secondly, my wife has just put to birth our first child and she is 3 weeks old now, do I need to get a passport for her and apply for her visa too when I’m putting a new application for me and my wife? Thank you in advance 1. Yes you can apply in March no problem. 2. I'm not sure about this but you can check Nigeria immigration website about child passport to know if you can get her a passport or her visa will be attached to your wifes |

Flem821: Hi All,
I need some advice if possible.
I'm British, my wife Nigerian. She's with me here on a settlement visa all fine.
We applied for a visitor visa for her mum to come and visit and we were refused on the grounds that we hadn't proved that she would leave the UK once her visa has expired.
We stated the dates she would be visiting from and to, proved that I would be sponsoring her financially in full, proved she would be staying with us.
She is retired and relies on money from her sons and daughters and what little pension she gets.
Cheers Was that bit stated in her application? |

Fekonzy: Hello. @justwise and others. Please i have a question to ask. I want to apply for a renewal for my visa that will expire around april. I want to apply for a 2 year visa this time around. However in the past i had been denied a visa three times. But on the third time, i appealed through the organization that organized the convention i intended on attending and they overturned the decision and gave me a visa. So i wish to ask would the past denials pose affect my chances of getting the visa? And can i get a 2 years visa if i apply as a tourist now? Also I have a student visa for south africa as I plan on starting my phd research next month. Please what are my chances and any advice for me? As long as you declare previous refusal you will be find in that aspect. Yes you can apply for 2yrs but whether you will be issued or not its up to the ECO and documents you submitted. |

olatunbosun96: Goodday everyone, Please I did chest xray for UK visa today but the result was inconclusive. I went to another hospital to repeat the xray but they said my chest xray is normal. Please is there anything I can do about this or can I repeat the test at IOM. I did it in Lagos. @justwise and other gurus in the house please help. I can understand you feeling worried about the issue but before you go for another test try and read what the rule says about inconclusive test result and go with the latest result to show IOM when you finally go for another test. Really sorry to hear about your issue. |

tahirabu: Hi @justwise,
I have started my visa application online and I wanted to ask if there is an option to add my dependants application to mine. I am asking because on the IHS page it says I have no dependants. But on my application form I filled that my spouse and my child will be travelling with me.
Thanks I think you need to complete separate form for each individual traveling with you |
