I can't apply without them. Do i cancel the application? What about the health charges paid already please help me urgent. Thanks
Correct that mistake on the printout before submitting and mention it too during your interview, don't wait until you are asked.

You can also use the blank space in the form to explain the mistake

From experience, it's depends on when you are traveling and the type of accommodation you need including shopping.

Am in London for 4 days December/January
Ethiopia airways return ticket #308,000
Accommodation £50/day on average
Feeding £100/day average
Transport £250 Buy oyster bus card for cheaper transport, taxi suck. Though depends on your route.

Advise: Book for flight ahead like 3 weeks, you can even get cheaper flights on British airways. Looking for hostel or Airbnb for accommodating if you are on low budget. Shopping depends on your pocket size.

Safe trip.
Is that a joke?

Justwise, Ekpotek and others, I am about booking my ticket to the UK for March as stated in my application today but got a mail for official assignments to end in April.

I have to go in April now. But hope it won't be seen as misrepresentation since I stated March in my application?

Also, can a 7days vacation be extended to 10 days? I don't want any issue whenever I apply in the future.

Kindly assist with your opinions on these issues.
I don't think it will be a problem but if you haven't attended biometric appointment yet then you can correct it on the printout.

Spending extra 3 will not be a big deal but if I'm in your position I will stick to the number of days stated.

Need some help here guys. My Nigerian phone crashed, weather was too cold for the phone.
Problem is it crashed with my Nigerian banking apps, bigger problem is, I damaged my MTN sim in the process of trying to fit it into another phone, biggest problem is I have money in Nigerian banks which I can't access because I can only activate the apps via SMS to the registered SIM which is now damaged.
I can't also do it online cos I never activated online banking when I was in Nigeria.
Any suggestions on how I can get my SIM and access to my accounts from here? I use first bank, access and diamond banks.
Get someone in Nigeria to help you get your sim reissued from MTN(forget what it's called) but you can get another SIM with the same number.

Alternatively download the app with another phone here and use the same username and password to access it if you still remember those details.

I don't know why am bothering to respond but for the sake of those who genuinely want to help and need better clarification , I will say this. My husband just completed his PhD in SA and was supposed to start his post doctoral program this January. So he traveled in Nov to attend a seminar and spend some extra weeks vacationing . Unfortunately the post doc didn't work out so he stayed back a little longer and probably see if there are other schools for his post doc and if you read my post well you will see I mentioned he will be back next month. Moreso why will I want to go live in US permanently if I have things working for me here.
If your hubby traveled with B1/B2 visa then its still an issue only if he declared all that during his interview

Are you working? Or have you worked in a relevant occupation pertaining to Canada express entry (your one year Nysc experience can also suffice). If you have at least one year of experience in a relevant occupation, you can migrate via Canada Express entry. Here is the thread
https://www.nairaland.com/4843199/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled
Click on part one to get a detailed info. Don't fall into the hands of preys called agent that would get you a visiting visa, take your money and then leave you to your fate. Or worse earn you a 5 years ban due to misrepresentation.

The part one page one gives you the first steps to applying. You can do this yourself and all things being equal, it takes six months.

Hi Justwise. I want to do my Masters in UK but I av a one year old baby. Can I apply with her cos I can't leave her in Nigeria? Also, her dad will not be going with me at the moment cos he works here. Is it possible And what is d average school fees if i enrol her in a Nursery? How much I'm I expected to show as her maintenance fee. Thanks.
Pls any other experienced person can also attend to my question. Thanks all.
You can apply with her but before you do that you need to find out the cost of nursing in the city where your school is or contact your school because some schools have that provision.

Regarding maintenance fees you need to read guidance note link in first page of this thread, there is a section in that link where dependant financial requirement is explained in details

@Justwise and other gurus in the house.
I have an issue now as I am filling the form, I need assistance. Let me start with the background story. We intend traveling soonest to UK. Family of 6. Husband, wife and 4kids. Expenses to be paid by our private Coy. We have all board resolution and approval. Budget 2.2m for all. My question. How do I fill this
1. For the kids. How much are u planning to spend on your visit to uk
2. What is the total amount u spend each month
3. How much will they be paying towards your visit

For Wify and I, how do we answer same question? Do we have to state the total sum of 2.2m each or break it into our individual breakdown which is about 362k for each of the 6 of us.
I have answered this question before

200 thousand naira as monthly salary.
Loan of 1million naira

That doesn't look good because it will take you more than 5months of your whole salary to pay back the loan.

How about saving for it rather than taking that much of a loan?

What I read from the guidance is not clear enough sir. There is an heading on Tier 2 guidance called PREVIOUS GRANT OF LEAVE which says people can claim 10 points for English language proficiency based on their immigration history. I also checked caseworkers guidance to see. Am trying to upload the screenshots of what I read from caseworkers guidance and Tier 2 migrant about English language proficiency but it's not uploading. Please sir can you also help me to read paragraph 158, page 40 of Tier 2 workers guidance and page 78 of caseworkers guidance sir. When I got my Tier 2 then it was through the point based calculator I checked my degree status but now i noticed people needs to send to UKNARIC but based on the content of those paragraphs which talk about PREVIOUS GRANT OF LEAVE am confused sir. Thanks
I have seen that section and it stated that you will be awarded 10points if you have met the English language requirement before.

So you don't need to evaluate your certificate with Uk Naric again. Just make sure that you completed the form properly to reflect that

Please I really need someone to help me or tell me what to do ! I am Daniel and I am from Abia state and I live here in Lagos state ! I have a fiancé, who is a German woman ! We met online and we talked and get to know more about each other and finally she came 2017 October and we spent 2 months together but we didn't get married due to at of that time she was filling for divorce papers!! She wanted to help me with a visiting visa and I applied but due to I haven't traveled before, I got rejected!! I believe that's the reason and I was very sad cry and I went to an agent who told me that he can secure a France visa for me (schengen) and I can use it to in France and from there I can find my root to Germany by train and I said Good because I was desperate and wanted to leave with my woman !! But unfortunately it was rejected also due to is not up to 2 weeks I left from German embassy! So I have been struggling with my visa process ever since and my fiancé now told me that we can marry in Germany, that I should write the A1 examinations (prufüng) which I did and I passed it !! I have give her the certificate, my school certificate, birth certificate, bachelor certificate, two photocopies of my international passport which must be issued by the court that its original!! She's about to summit it to there registry ( Standesamt) .. I am very worried because I haven't seen anyone who left Nigeria just like that to fly to another man's country to marry because I don't think is possible due to the record Nigeria has !! Secondly, she is older than me I am 29 years and she is 64years old and age doesn't matter to me but the person inside of you , that's all that matters most !! So they might the age difference between us and start thinking negatively! ! So please please please, I need assistance or is it possible that I can go to Germany and marry her after my 6months verification
That should bother you and it will bother the embassy because visa is involved here and not necessarily love.

Let's be honest here without getting emotional, this woman is almost 40yrs older than you and you want us to believe that it doesn't matter? That it's all about love? In your 29yrs of existence have you ever fallen in love with a 64yrs old Nigerian woman living in Nigeria and desperately wanted to marry her?

If this is truly love as you said then let her come to Nigeria to marry you and settle in Nigeria.

The embassy definitely knows what is at stake here.

I know this is not what you want to hear but I have to say it.

I will be surprised if you are given a visa, not only because of your salary but for the fact that you are traveling without your wife and kid, even if you want to travel with them you still can not afford that family holiday.

Hello All and @justwise.

Please help and advise accordingly. I have been to the UK in holiday in August, 2012 where I spent 2weeks out of the 6month visa days granted to me.

I also travelled to Ghana for 6days on honeymoon same 2012. I have not left the country since then nor applied for any visa because I have no reason to. Now, I want to visit the US in holiday alone without my wife and kid. My passport has expired and am about to renew it and apply for US tourist visa.

Please what are my chances or been granted a US Visa. What are the neccesarry documents to have in place. I don't want to use any agent, since I did the UK myself without involving an agent.

Please all, advice me in the way forward.

Hello House this was the response from the university

@Zoey1,@justwise and others please do justice

Hello

We are very sorry to hear of your visa refusal. Unfortunately the
University is unable to approve the assignment of a new CAS immediately
for the same intake in this situation, due to the high probability of
another visa refusal.

I would recommend in this instance that we defer your offer to a later
intake, and nearer the time we would consider whether we are able to
assign you a new CAS (although this is not guaranteed).

I would also recommend that you challenge the decision by applying for
Administrative Review as per the instructions in the letter, this is
free of charge to do and should the visa refusal be overturned this will
be beneficial to you in future visa applications. The decision appears
to be made rather subjectively on various points. Also, as far as we are
aware it is not a requirement of the visa application to provide
documents confirming your current and previous employment with your visa
application so if you were not specifically asked for these documents
you may be able to challenge this point.

I am sorry for your disappointment, please keep us updated with your
Admin Review decision if you apply for it. I will arrange for you to be
sent a new offer for September 2019, we will correspond with you in the
summertime in regards to any further information or requirements for you
in order to consider assigning you a new CAS.

Kind regards,
Your school made a valid point there and which can win you the AR.

You will not be able to make it this Jan just go for the AR just to clear your immigration record and prepare for Sep admission season.

Ok sir. I will apply for VISA AND NATIONALITY. Though I was in the UK before as a Tier 2 general migrant and left in 2016 without applying for leave to remain. When I applied i only presented my degree certificate and a letter from my university to proof English language proficiency. So I don't know if it's necessary to still show my English language proficiency through NARIC again for my new Tier 2 application or I don't have to. I mean if 10 points will be given to me based on Previous Tier 2 visa.
Have you gone through the guidance note to see if you need to evaluate it again since you have successfully applied before?

Go through the guidance note first to see if there is any help.

If there is non then go ahead and evaluate it else you will be refused without NARIC supporting letter
