Ndkings1: Gurus in the house, I really appreciate you for all the help you have rendered to us novices through your advices. I can only say, I God bless you all.
Now, I'm going to explain my situation without holding back any iota of truth in order not regret at last.
Earlier this year I met a guy based in London through my mum, we got chatting and we concluded that he's gonna send me invitations letter and other necessary documents on his part to come and stay with him in London for some time. Note: I have never seen him face to face
I work in a private school, where I earn 125k a month. Though the school pay tax but they don't deduct tax money from our salaries. they don't give payslips and sometimes, they us cash. The questions bothering me now and I need urgent answers for are ;
1.. Will my physical unfamiliarity with the person inviting me affect my application even though he's providing the accommodation and other documents?
2..I intend to create a payslip on my own for next six months. I intend to make it look like I'm paying tax for every salary I get by including some tax deductions which I'm not actually paying(I was told my payslip must show that I'm paying tax or else my application will be refused)... Please I need your undiluted advise on this one.
3..is my monthly salary of 125k enough for this application(I don't have another source of income for now)
4...my host says he's going to to send me hotel reservations - is this not gonna complicate issues for me since I'm going to stay in his house?
5...i currently have 1million in my account and I intend to use my salary for the next six months months to build it up to 1.6million or more starting from wit the salary for this month.. DO I NEED TO EXPLAIN THE SOURCE OF THE 1MILLION NAIRA OPENING BALANCE? these are my major dilemma and I need honest advice please. Thank you very much as I await your response. God bless...
@justwise @epotek I really don't want to discourage you on this because i think your mind is made up already. Reading in between the lines it appears that you are planing to visit the UK and live illegally with somebody you never met before. The visa you are applying for will not allow you do anything other than visit and see places, you can't work, study, do business, rent a house or open bank account in the UK. Forging payslip is never a good idea because if the embassy run a check on that you will be looking at 10yrs ban from the UK. You really need to find out more about the person inviting you and willing to send his personal details. |

Wilfredpat22: Hello gurus in the house, hope your week is going well? And family ?
I am planning to go on a tourist visa to uk. My flight and stay will be covered by a EU citizen as I don’t earn much in a store where I work. We are paid cash but I have been able to save 700k
Thing is do I need introduction letter from this store (Mr Biggs) or leave letter? As I was employed by word of mouth and have been working here ever since
Please what do you guys advice justwise, marylanderr Get both if you can and get them to state there that you are paid cash in hand. |

ytp: Awwww, ok. I had always wanted to go for a 3 weeks summer course for some time now, i wasnt too sure i could make it this year so I didnt put many things in place.Eventually, i decided to give it a try.I had filled my form and was about to submit when i realised the category of visa i picked wasnt right.Thank God for the confirmation letter that was sent to me.Had to change from tourist visa to short term study.Time wasnt on my side, submitted on May 30th.Available date was 6th june through prime time which i clicked mistakenly. It was a day to biometric i discovered i wud need to pay.Long story short I paid online, went for my biometric and prayed i get a response after 3 weeks(june 27th) before the course starts on the 2nd of july.my paasport was eventually returned to me on 29th (not without drama with dhl) and travelled next day.Coming to this platform, I discovered things that i wouldnt have done if i hadnt come: cover letter (which i did after submission thank God i checked here befr biometric).I wrote alot of things from itinerary, to financial status, what I do etc. My mind was playing tricks on me cos I submitted a 5 mnths statement for both my salary acct and company acct, made bulk transfers a week before biometric, forgot to include i was denied US (i didnt remember at first), was confused when i was asked in the form if i have a relative in the uk which i responded No because of the clause written there meanwhile my cousin invited me in my previous application that i was denied...so it was a crazy moment for me while waiting cos a 2000 pounds non-refundable for my course was at stake if i was denied and didnt inform the school with proof before the course starts. I jst have a feeling the cover letter got my back. You are very lucky to pull this through. Enjoy your time in the UK Congratulations! |

Khez: Please hear this, so I wish to apply for a 6months visit visa, I work with a salary of 100k, but my boss been paying me 60k since March due to economic downturns, now it has improved, he recently made a payment of the outstanding salaries amounting to 160k and it's a small company, so I don't have a pension account to print for this application, and oh sometimes he pays me with his main account and not the company account I think just once.
I also have a side small business ,I sell wears and shoes on jumia and also dress people up, help people go to the market and buy clothes, which I am been paid for, which explains the other monies that enters my account apart from salary, I have jumia's vendor ID card to support as jumias deposits reflects in my statements and also has a page on IG where I sell too. Which makes my mothly income to 150k 200k sometimes.
Now I learnt here I don't have to spend moredan 4times my salary in a trip , and my brother inlaw is taking up my flight and hotel fee for the five days I intend to spend in the uk ,pls what documents do I need to present on my part and his. And would you advice he sponsors or I let him out, I have inflow and outflow, eventho most times I transfer from my fidelity to the main account I intend to use gbt and my closing will be 2m or 1.5 as people are oweing me a lot..
Sorry for the long talks, thanks again You need to read this thread regarding documents to submit because we have answered this sort of questions far too many times. Whether you want to sponsor the trip or your brother inlaw you still need to proof that you have a strong tie to Nigeria, looking at your salary level you will need to spend more than 5months of your salary on 5days trip. If your brother inlaw wants to sponsor you he can but you still need to provide those documents to support your tie to Nigeria. Your side business without any document to support it will hardly be taken seriously. |

chime11: Ok let me comment on this,am a student in Philippines, most schools here does not run online application,so for you to get admission here requires you sending a representative in person of friend or relation, because getting admission here from school is one thing, you still need to authenticate the documents here by in Philippines foreign affairs before sending down to nigeria,so some things school can't do the whole process alone,a student here must be always involved, That doesn't mean that all foreign students has to look for somebody in Philippines to help them with admission. |

covbrand: Am not sure you understood what I said, i haven't had my baby yet and I have not owed a dime for any child.
The sick child is my toddler who I had a while back, not a new baby and please next time if you cannot pass your message without throwing passive insults you can skip from answering. I did not predict that my son will be rushed into the ER. I perfectly understood your question there is no ambiguity here. You are thinking of taking Medicaid to settle your toddler's medical bills because he was born in US. Recently a lot of people have been denied a visa or insulted at the POE partly because what you are planning to do now. If you took the Medicaid and returns to Nigeria with your kid who pays for it? |

covbrand: I don't know if anyone has had a case like this before, I travelled with my toddler that was born in the us to have my second baby,on the flight here he caught a serious virus so I rushed him to the er when it seemed like he was looking consciousness. We stayed for a few hours as he was placed on IV and some test and scans was done on him. He was given intravenous drugs then we were discharged. On leaving, the billing department gave me a bill of up to 10000 but said I could get a discount that will make it about 900, the shocking part was when I was told that I still had to pay for a separate doctors fee, pathology and radiologist fee.
I am thinking of collecting medicaid on his behalf since he is a citizen and wasent just born now. I will appreciate anybody that has been through something like this to share. Will it affect my chances of coming into the us again? Surely it will and should affect your chances of getting a visa again. I think its morally indefensible for you to claim Medicaid when you have not for a single day worked and pay into American system. Take a payment plan and sort out your bills so as not to make life even more difficult for other visa applicants. |

skills50: u will have to send those things to someone there in the Philippines to process the admission for u, since they don't do online admission, that's what I meant, u could also verify that too That is not true, you just don't understand the process. You send all the documents to the school directly and not to anybody else. Download the application form, complete it and attach all the documents and send it to the school. |

Aside, coop is the only way I can save money otherwise, I will spend the money. You know it is difficult to have a saving in Nigeria. Applying in Nov for March travel is far too early, you should be looking at Jan and start putting money aside from now till then, putting money aside for the trip shouldn't be difficult if you are determined to do that. |
