I am asking this question with a heavy heart because a friend of mine told me his F1 visa application—as well as that of all intending students to the US—was denied this morning. He answered all the questions of the visa officer perfectly but he was still denied. He was aked if he is married and had kids, and he answered in the negative. Could his being single be a factor in the denial of his application? Or is there something else prompting the US embassy to deny Nigerians visas? I am really perplexed because my friend expended a lot of money to apply and gain admission to a US school. If the US doesnt want Nigerians to come to their country anymore, they can as well a formal and well publicized directive to that effect. The practice of swindling Nigerians of exorbitant visas fees must be deprecated and discouraged by the Nigerian Government.

According to my friend, all intending students for masters degree to the US were denied their visas this morning. Not even one was issued a visa. This is the height of visa discrimination and something must be done to remedy the situation. Nigerians cannot continue to waste their hard earned money to apply for visa that has already been denied by fiat of the authorities at the State Department(Foggy Bottom). We need clarity and honesty on this visa issue from US authorities. Enough is Enough.

This is old news. I already enlightened hundred of thousands of Nigerians living in Nigeria about the lies portray by some of our brothers in America. Closing my thread was the thanks the mod gave me for spreading the truth. I hope one day they realize that the truth can't be hidden forever. Respect to all my friends and haters alike

The truth must be told so young people won't be deceived. Any Nigerian who have stayed 15 years in America and built a standard duplex is involved in fraudulent activities. It is impossible to work legitimately in the US. for 15 years and save money to build a duplex in Nigeria. Many middle class Americans can't save $100,000 within a 15 years period, these are people with professional college degrees,. so when next you see a Nigerian back from the US. erecting a mansion and driving expensive cars just know he is into wire wire, credit card scam, checks, western union money pick up and other shady deals. I expect a lot of bashing from Nigerians in America but I know deep inside they know it is the truth, 15 years is even being fair.

I honestly don’t have anything against you justwise.
You started this thread and some other Student visa threads , and I must commend you because I have benefited a lot.
However , due to your (maybe busy ) schedule and overseeing of the threads . Your contributions have been minimal here and some other persons have been making effort to keep your legacy (the thread)alive. But all Frankrobbn1 is saying is crystal clear and straight forward. It does not appear to me to be an advert if you post another suggested link for generation of the GCMS note.
In fact will aid persons in getting their detailed reasons for refusal without waiting for persons in Canada apply for them.

Thank you for acknowledging my previous post. With all due respect Sir, placing a tested and trusted ad here for prospective applicants to order for their GCMS note is not bad in any way, either it helps the present situation. I can recall brilliantly some time last year on this thread, when applicants freely make use of third party GCMS website, not until after we had a range of news going round about that some applicants were secretly defrauded outside this thread all in the name of assisting them in ordering for their GCMS note. Thanks to you, who took it up and sanctioned the impostors involved in such Fraudulent Act. But, this has got nothing to do with the trusted third party GCMS website people have been making use of on this thread, our threat last year was on the imposter in question. We never had any bad reviews from applicants here concerning the third party webpa

Kindly make this GCMS website to be available here again, so that people won't be facing challenges or being restricted to having someone in Canada before ordering for their notes. Let's be sympathetic and considerate please.

I write on behalf of the prospective applicants who were recently refused of their study visas and are finding it very difficult in ordering for their GCMS note using the ATIP LINK which you pasted at the first page of this thread. I beseech that you look into this matter ASAP and get a supporting and a trusted website where applicants can easily order for their GCMS notes, without being mandatory/restricted that an applicant must have someone in Canada before ordering for their GCMS note, considering the fact that not all applicants that are here has someone in Canada. I have decided to call on your attention to this present situation.

I hope you kindly look into my suggestion and find the best possible way to handle the issue on ground.

I was going to ignore this but decided to give you the benefit of doubt, help you and others like you before it's too late. Didn't you just get your visa? You've not even spent anytime here, you're already joining gang that won't help you and suggesting people are misinformed. I'm sorry for you.

When I came here, I visited a family. I heard stories of how people got their citizenship within 5 years of coming here. Those stories were stories that sounded too good to be true. Instead of doing oversabi and trying to prove them wrong, I simply told them how shocked I was, made myself humble and asked them to tell me their experience so I can learn. Best advice I ever got... and they're white people, people who had nothing in it for them.

Barring any unfortunate events, I'm projected to get my U.S. citizenship in 2021. That's 5 years for me too. I know people who predicted harsh events for me because I didn't come here on funding to study a STEM course. Without sounding condescending, I can tell you my gamble paid off.

The program I came here to study in my school was ranked number 6 in the whole world. Generally, the school is not even in the top 100 schools in the U.S. but the department was so highly ranked that it was almost impossible to graduate and not get a job. Super-strong alumni too. When they were hammering me for not going to top school/getting funding, I stayed on track and focused on my life.

Telling me "You can't do X" is the only motivation I need sometimes to go the extra mile. You and that guy just gave me the motivational "it's impossible" speech lol. When I start studying to pass my test for Naturalization, all I need to do is remember the people who say it's impossible lol.

Please be humble. When someone tells you "I did x and got y", simply ask them to show you how without being disrespectful. I surround myself with positive people, and I am very grateful that God sent them my way. May God be with you o, doubting Thomas.

Hello house, want to narrate my story and wish you guys can assist with an idea and ways i can go about my next interview. In 2013 i merged with a lady that won visa lottery,on the interview day the consular discovered that i personally won visa lottery too but i won as single(not married)in short we were denied and the guy said we have been banned from playing visa lottery. Because of the fear since 2013 i decided not to apply. I got a job with an audit firm that same year with good salary and married 2016 but told my wife to apply alone and she didnt fill my name as her husband as advised by agent unforunately she was denied.

Now we have both travelled to south africa last month with our daughter and we wanted to apply for US now for 2weeks vaction. I know my chance is slim but just want to seek for advise here. Assist look into my case plzz

Yeah, i tried contacting many clubs across, to even get an invitation from them is really hard mostly if no better video. it was only Academies in Spain and France that where ready to invite me.

However, my Nigerian passport will expire in January 2019, which I am planning to extend before September. Please, do I need to transfer this valid visa to the new passport or I can basically present the old and new passports at the airport?. Anyone with such experience? Please i need your advise on this. Hello everyone, I asked a question a while back about my budget whilst filling my application. I got my passport back yesterday with a 6 months visa. I did my biometrics on 2nd July at Ikeja, got an email for collection on 25th July.Documents submitted:
6 months payslips
Letter of introduction from my employer
Proof of ownership of our residence
Evidence of husband’s ownership of other properties
Husband’s payslips and evidence of employment
Son’s birth certificate and bio data page of passport ( he’s traveling with me but he doesn’t need a visa)
Bank statements (salary n savings)
Husband letter of co-sponsorship (he’s not traveling with us)
Letter of invitation from sister-in-law and a copy of the bio-data page of her British passport
Cover letter- I explained the lodgement of some funds into my account by my husband in January.

My wife, our last child and I were issued six months visa in march this year and we traveled with it in May using ten days as stated in our application.
I wish to apply for my remaining three kids. I want us to travel before expiration of our visa in September. My questions are...

1. Is it not too close for us to travel again in September since we just came back in May.

2. How will Eco view our application since we will not have other family tiles in Nigeria as we all intend to go on this trip?

3. Will our account balance of N2.5 million be sufficient in the Eco's eye? (Though we also have another N3 million investment on Treasury Bills).

4. Hope my first son age of 16 years won't be an issue? I mentioned all my children name and submitted their birth certificate during our application in February this year.

I will appreciate more insight on these matters sir and ma as I do not want UK denial. The whole family had been denied US visa.

I have a land and a car receipt, that should do na abi boss, as my tie.
Will my in law provide an document proving his my in law? Or just a letter from him and personal statement??

Just like as suggested some months back, my mum moved the 9 million required for my college from her business account to her personal account on the 2nd of july. I submitted a bank statement of just 3 days(from 3rd - 5th ...it didn't show where the 9 million came from though)to my college to prove that the money is already sitting in her account. Since the 2nd of july till this very moment my mum has been doing numerous transactions with her account but it her balance has never gone below the required. Just today my college contacted me and said they wouldn't continue with my application because they dont understand who my mum is sending money too and they dont understand why she is receiving money. I am perplexed, is the account expected to be static with just the 9 million in it or what
