4 year's of Buhari is better than 16 year's of PDP.
Every success you celebrate today was initiated in that 16 years of PDP. Apart from the Lagos – Ibadan standard gauge which was started by this administration (though signed by Jonathan), every other rail and airport project which have been commissioned by Buhari were all started between 2011 and 2015.

Exactly. Most of us from SS keep letting how SE Igbo brothers know that having a Biafra with minorities would be another Niggeria. We know this people, we live amongst them, we share states with them, we know them more than SE but SE igbos keep ignoring our warnings. Biafra should be Igboland and Igboland only. We have more than enough population to be a nation. We have more than enough intellect to run a nation. Even if that oil, we have than enough oil to run a nation. Oyigbo and Egbema has one of the largest oil production in River state then add Anambra, Imo and Abia and even done parts of Anioma to the mix. Then in Anioma, we have the largest gas reserve in Delta. I'm not sure but I was once told SE has the largest gas reserve in Nigeria plus coal is still a fuel source still being used by some and we have that in abundance. Let's not forget other minerals in both SE, Anioma and Rivers igbo.

With that being said I don't believe our people would depend on natural resources like Niggeria whatsoever. Personally I think Biafra should utilize human resources for growth which our people have in abundance. We have the Aba and Nnewi that can build anything. We should focus our attention on expanding that engineering mind of Nnewi people and exporting it keiser the business mind of Aba people. Then you have onitsha people with their market that's well known already... Expand that market and making it past a known market in Africa. Personally, I believe Biafra should mimick China to the T because we have what they did to grow. Until some of our people start thinking Igbos only and leave this minorities, the better for us. IPOB Biko listen to us...we share states with these people...We know them..Biafra should be Igbos only.
I agree with you. Igbos have limitless potentials that are being stifled by the Nigerian union.
An independent Igbo nation will be a wonder of the 21st century.

I agree too. I am an igbo guy from opobo and I love and respect all my fellow people of the niger-delta tribes but in other for the world to take the agitation seriously and in other for it to materialize it should first be an only igboid issue for starters.

Afterwards only people of the Old Aro Confederation can be allowed in as we all have thesame forefathers. But for any of these tribes to be included there has to be a vote within the community and minimum 95% vote by all of the people within the community to join. Because for a country to be loved by it's people, the people within should first accept that they want to be part of that country, and that can only be done by voting - That is the civilised way of doing things.

I say this because the a lot of the other tribes of the niger-delta that are non igboic are either kind of for it or on the fense with biafra or against it or playing politics with it for their own agenda.

An Igboid Nation of over 55 million igboid speakers with a seaport at Opobo, oil in central and south igbo communities and overall igbo business working spirit (whether our other Aro brothers join or not) would be one that would be bound for greatness.

Core igboland has yet untapped oil, ikwerres/ogba's have oil right now that is being pumped at over 200,000 Barrels per day and nothing to show for it in ikwerre and ogbaland other than death and destruction.

Biafra should be an igboid affair for starters, after it's is achieved and working a lot of our "Aro Brothers" would definitely want in as they themselves can not tolerate/stand or survive in this forced nigerian contraption.
You're making so much sense. I love it when I see Igbos from Rivers and Delta who understand that we are all one.

I still don't understand why some of our Igbo brothers continue to consider so called niger delta as part of Biafra, the five igbo states are more than enough to make a formidable state and nation!

Igbos do NOT need the niger delta oil to survive, give us an international airport and a functional state and we are ok ! To hell with niger delta !
You sabi! We don't need any damn Niger Delta oil to survive. Does China have oil? Yet they are on the verge of becoming the biggest economy in the world.

How can you be talking about a fully igbo nation that is landlocked when you have us Opobo people, which insult be that one. The southern most igbo speaking clan is the Opobos, we are right on the ocean, And there is no way that there would be an Igboid Nation of everybody speaking some sort of Igbo and we opobo people will chose to join another country and become igbo minority for wetin na? so that they would do to us what the cameroonians are currently doing to the calabar who were annexed into cameroon? God forbid! And please note that I didnt say Opobo-nkoro-bonny. I simply said Opobo because bonny people and their king are playing oil politics and can twist their history because it's not very documented but for Opobos thanks to the numerous communication between our founder king jaja and the europeans nobody can come and tell us that we are from benin or sudan.

And to correct you, the total amount of Igboic or igboid speaking people put together stands at over 55million making it the single largest ethnic group in Africa. And imagine how this yoruba and hausas/fulani are using us to play okoso. It was the loss of the biafran war and oil politics that is still hurting us, but the younger generation is learning fast, thanks to internet you don't need to ask your father about who are, you can research it yourself, and at some point when all these wicked old bastards (who collected money from the so called "one nigerialist" and came and lied to their people about their origin and arm twisted their history to fit these wicked agendas) are gone, the igboid tribe receive a new awakening.
Thanks for the enlightenment.
Thumbs up!

Oga Urhobo should not be in that list. Any Yorobaoid tribe in the SS and those from benin should be removed anytime Biafran issue is being discussed, otherwise that Biafra would be sort of a mini nigeria which is bound to be another series of back stabbing because the people within do not see there selves as people from a common ancestry.

Biafra should only be open to those who tribe was part of the Aro Confederation, and I believe that is also what the people at the fore front Biafra is agitating for

And for those too young or too unread/uninformed to know what the Aro Confederacy i'll help.

The Aro Confederacy was the ONLY closest thing to a federal republic that existed in West Africa, A trading bloc constituted of Majorly Igboid, Ibibiod, and ijoid tribes that traded together, intermarried , and formed military alliances existing for almost 600 years until it was squashed by the british in their quest to take over the territory in the early 1900s. The old people of Aro had a writing called insidibi, most big business men and kings in the old Aro territory had to learn insidibi to guarantee that they were able to communicate/trade within the economic bloc. If not the invasion of the British, the Aro Confederacy would have morphed into a modern country on the bight of biafra. And it would be all up to us to imagine how powerful that country would have been.

Please understand that the if your tribe, whether or not it is in the SS, was not a part of the Aros, nobody is talking about your people when the issue of Biafra is being discussed. Ask your grand parents/uncles.
You're right. I only mentioned Urhobo because of their proximity to Anioma which in itself is a part of Igbo land.

I'm Igbo, and I wouldn't even mind a Biafra that consists of only Igbo land. It will be far better than the present Nigeria.

"No matter how bad it is, Igbos will definitely treat South South better..." like a father treats his child, right?
The first 2 paragraphs of what I wrote shows that Igbos don't actually need South South to build a great nation.

Rwanda is one of the fastest growing economies in Africa today. It's a shining light in Africa as at 2019. It is a landlocked country like South East Nigeria, has a landmass a little less than South East, and they don't have crude oil. Yet it has surpassed Nigeria in many indices of development at the moment.
I said this to let you understand that Igbo land can definitely do well as a country without South South.

I talked about treating the South South right because you insinuated that Igbos will marginalise them assuming they form part of Biafra. You deliberately forgot that I first mentioned a rotational presidency. What I meant is that assuming Igbos even try to lord it over the South South, they will still be fair on them.
Call it father and son whatever, it doesn't matter. There are over 40 million Igbos in Nigeria. The most populous ethnic group in the South South (Ijaw) is less than 5 million. There is no other ethnic group in the SE/SS that has up to 10% of Igbo population. What it means is that at every point in time, there will be more Igbos in any sector than any other individual tribe in the South South.
South South isn't an ethnic group. We shouldnt forget that. For instance, there is very little in common between Efik and Urhobo, Annang and Itsekiri, Ibibio and Ijaw etc, yet they are all part of the South South.

leave SS alone and talk Biafra Bro.. we know say una love for SS is because of what's there. Remove your five states and nobody will even know something left.....

we all know if SS eventually joins Biafra agenda Igbo's will never allow another tribe rule them in biafra . and funny enough SS has more states that what we know as Biafra .
So if SS and SE leaves together as Biafra there's still gonna be hatred and tagging SSas evil if they grip power from the Igbo's......
Abia, Imo and Anambra have some crude oil, which even though it's not very much, will provide more revenue to the 5 SE states than the share we get from the present FG. Also, take note that the largest natural gas reserve in Africa is in Imo.
Let me remind you that in the next 20 years, most developed nations would have jettisoned petrol and diesel engine cars for electric cars. Crude oil will soon become nearly worthless.

Biafra as a nation will thrive on technology and industrialization. Aba and Nnewi have a lot of industrial potentials that are being stifled by Nigeria. Moreover, there are many more Igbo men in diaspora that will be ready to come and invest in Igbo land (Biafra) if the nation is born.

If South South are to be part of Biafra, there will definitely be rotational presidency between the various regions of Biafra. No matter how bad it is, Igbos will definitely treat South South better than the North treats all of us. Igbos have been co-existing with Efik, Ibibio, Annang, Ijaw, Urhobo etc people for hundreds of years even before Nigeria was born.

i really wanted to keep this sunday arguement or insult free but you ignorant people forced my hands

section 145 of the constituition says the president only needs to transmit power to Acting president only if he sees it fit that he cant perform his role as a president by not been able to discharge the duty of his office and he claims he would discharge his duty for the 10 days from london, just like a working visit to other countries.
:

Section 145 of the 1999 Constitution says: “Whenever the president transmits to the president of the Senate and the speaker of the House of Representatives a written declaration that he is proceeding on vacation or that he is otherwise unable to discharge the functions of his office, until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, such functions shall be discharged by the vice-president as acting president.”
You wanted to keep the argument insult-free by calling people fish brainers? Are you for real?
These were your exact words:

we have a vice president and federal executive council, if only secondary school goverment was made for every student, and curriculum covers the basics of democracy, then presidency wouldnt have to explain and re explain to fish brainers how stuff works.
What's your point mentioning that we have a vice president and FEC when the president didn't transmit to the Senate thereby handing over power to the VP?

Can you explain what you were driving at with your earlier post I just quoted, and can we please keep this insult-free?

So explain your reasoning

Countries that have not achieved that should do what?

Kindly explain

I really want to know how your mind works
Nigeria needs to build more power infrastructure. They need the best deals possible, need to assemble the best brains in electrical engineering, power plants construction, power transmission and distribution etc. All these will be made easier when the person at the helm of affairs has experience in that field.
When however you've achieved self sufficiency in power production, you don't need to make as much investment anymore. The system become self sustaining even without an experienced leader in place. At that point, you need more of an administrator to control things not a technocrat.

The best Minister of Power Nigeria has ever had was Prof Barth Nnaji, and he was very effective cos he had a lot of experience in that sector. A power minister who has no experience in power sector cannot make much input by himself. He will only rely on the advise of others.

My dear, I just don't understand. That's the root of their marital crisis. Couples shouldn't be apart except when there isn't any other option, and it shouldn't even be for long. Even when it happens, they should endeavor to spend quality time together as often as possible so that they won't give the enemy room to infiltrate their marriage.

And for one generator you supply to nassarawa 50 is being supplied within Lagos. There's no doubt Lagos is the biggest consumer of many imports. Therefore even with your instance we can still say Lagos generates most of the revenue.
Lagos probably has a population of about 20 million while the rest of Nigeria has a population of approximately 180 million. Are you telling me that Lagos is a bigger consumer of any product than the rest of Nigeria put together? A very significant amount of the imports cleared in Lagos go down to the South East, South South and the North.

If Lagos becomes a republic (though unlikely), then the ports in the South South will be developed to handle imports for the rest of the country. Many multinational companies that have their headquarters in Lagos will start building other headquarters in other parts of the country. At that point, you will understand that Lagos is rich mainly because it is servicing the entire country.

Nigeria doesn't have enough doctors, and also there are too few standard hospitals. Ideally, each local government area in Nigeria should have a standard tertiary hospital in the class of teaching hospital, federal medical centre or multi-specialty specialist hospital. At worst, let one of such kind of hospitals serve 2 LGAs. If we had such, that's when the government would have known that there aren't even enough doctors.
