RomanceRe: The Hate For Women On This Forum Is Appalling by Kevsmart88(m): 11:18pm On Sep 27, 2020
Theslumflower:
I've seen ladies:

1. Borrow money to give their hustling boyfriend because of love
2. Sleep with richer men to make sure their boyfriend get that one strong deal that will change his life because of love
3. Go against their parents rules just to be with a guy because of love
4. Take oaths with a guy just to prove love
5. Leave a wealthy suitor just to be with their broke boyfriend in the name of love. Etc.

You will never see women brag about these things. But guys will always play the victim and the "no money no love" card on women. Y'all should use this time you waste on wailing and actually pray for a good woman.
Valid submissions and facts you just stated. It's not always one way traffic all the time guys. Yes, the present crop of women are basically manipulative in nature but truth be said, there are loads of good gals ( Nigerian) out there.

Best decision you're about taking now. Channel all that energy into developing yourself and finding your feet. At the right time, the right woman will be attracted to you without putting so much of an effort...Often times, we relegate the most important things in life for trivialities, who even says one must have a girlfriend before finding a wife? Love don't cost a thing bro,all we have now is relationship based on interest and what we stand to gain esp in our geographical setting where dating has automatically become a means of livelihood for some.
RomanceRe: Bbnaija- From Frodd To Ozo Is It Safe To Say Igbo Men Are The Most Romantic? by Kevsmart88(m): 10:19am On Sep 21, 2020
I will personally term it as an insult to attach that guy to the Igbo race. Romantic kee u there. Take a close look at ibos achieving great things all over the world and tell me if any of them prioritised a pussy over their ambitions. We are known to be relentless and uncompromising in our quest for success.

RomanceRe: Whats The Creepiest Thing You've Seen That You Haven't Shared Anywhere? by Kevsmart88(m): 11:29am On May 10, 2020
Had this weird experience years back. Travelled home with family for the Christmas celebration. Mum insisted I attend a vigil with my cousins in their church against my wish. An hour or so into the vigil I got fed up prolly cos I wasn't feeling the whole thing, decided to walk back home alone. It was few minutes to 12am and I headed home. The church was a bit far from home and I had to take a long and lonely path. Halfway into the journey home, I started feeling uneasy like something or someone was behind me, I looked back and saw this creepy old and very short man and I just knew I was in for a bumpy ride. The scary part was for every one step I took, the creature was ten steps closer to me, at that point I knew it wasn't business as usual and I took to my heels..Be a man, no be when you jam wetin pass man....

PoliticsRe: The First Project By Julius Berger In Nigeria 1965 Was In Lagos (Throwback Pic) by Kevsmart88(m): 9:52am On May 09, 2020
Reading all these comments just goes to validate an already overflogged subject of discourse-Nigeria has never been and will never be one. Ofcourse you can't merge people with different ideologies and expect them to cohabit peacefully. But the more painful aspect of the whole drama is the fact that this generation which ordinarily you would think educated and exposed enough to shun the ethnic undertones and forge a formidable partnership for a greater good are the chief propagators of this nonsense called ethic bigotry. Enough has been said already, Lagos belongs to the yorubas and that's final. We Ibos never learn. The future is bleak, call me a prophet of doom if you so please.

Exciting read...Really enjoyed it cos I can relate to everything you said. I used to manage one and believe me, it was fun all the way esp when the winnings came, how they bug me on phone as if I owe them millions, lol. You didn't add the ones that never have cash to stake but can convince you of the outcome of any stake all in a bid to see you stake for them too, or the ones who have the history of America's origin but have never crossed seme border, lol. What of the next bill gates, Elon musk and dangote who have the blueprint for success but have never made a million themselves, lol... The list is endless, i miss those days, was so much fun.
RomanceRe: Hear My Story, And Learn From It! by Kevsmart88(m): 5:52pm On Apr 28, 2020
Making mistakes in life is inevitable but learning from the mistakes and putting the lessons learnt to good use paves the way for any venture to be termed successful. Last time I checked, there are still people with enviable relationships, no need to demonize the female folk, it's a phase every emotionally stable young man goes through. Pick yourself up, focus more on your career, forgive her and move on. Someday you will find your soulmate and you will only reminisce on these events and laugh it off with a glass of chilled wine with your spouse. When life gives you limes, turn it around and....you know the rest. Peace brother.

Had this camaraderie that He could tell what I was capable of from a distance, an enigma i must say but above all a perfect gentleman. Never lay your hands on a woman he would always say for only a weakling does so...Learnt there's more to a man than just the whip cut muscles and baritone. Suffice to say I'm an exact replica of him, maybe not in looks but mannerism...

Did she mention the lady's full name anywhere in this post? No, so I don't see any defamation here. undecided
You think so? You aren't aware every mobile number attributed to any user is registered with a name and traceable in cases related to crime and so on. Furthermore that lady could be exposed to fraudsters and her safety isn't guaranteed. I may just drop your number and say you scammed me then watch the police swing into action. You don't just go about posting stuff on social media cos you feel aggrieved not minding the consequences of your actions. If you're one of those thinking cos it's a faceless forum, you can just go about typing gibberish and denting people's image, you're definitely on a long thin. Pray you don't bite more than you can chew, then you will understand why your accounts are linked to your Gmail and mail to your numbers..

You should have concealed her number for God's sake. Your husband's infidelity or Randy nature should be your concern, not the young lady.... Call your hubby's bluff, this is a sensitive issue and shouldn't be handled on social media. That's what you get when aged kids get married...
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Worst Interview Experience? What Happened? by Kevsmart88(m): 1:28pm On Apr 24, 2020
anykey:
Mine was funny though.
It was during my 6 months internship programme, and i was linked up to a company on the island. After passing their tests, i was called up for their interview. On to say i don stay house for close to 2 months, i wanted to get into this company by all means. So i got very nervous when i was told i was the next to be interviewed.
I got in the hall and i saw four men, my heart started racing, my head went blank. I was asked to introduce my self, i just talk am some how how. Then one of them asked me the capital of nigeria.
I said kampala. They all started laughing, in short one of them started choking on the laughter. They had to bring water for him, after he calmed down, he continued laughing. I was so embarassed. Then the choked man said, mo like Bobo kampala yi. (he likes me). They asked the question again though, and i told them the correct answer, they understood i was nervous.
I got the job though cos i had internal links, but na kampala them call me throughout my stay there.
grin you're a crazy dude
RomanceRe: Can You Relate With These Pictures, What Do They Remind You Of? by Kevsmart88(m): 10:05pm On Apr 23, 2020
The good ol' days...when happiness wasn't hinged on material possessions. When mediocrity was frowned at by all and sundry and people spoke with one voice in condemning evil. When we cared less about where you came from and even made jokes in rhythms about our different ethnic groups and still ate from same plate during festivities. Days when we had high moral standards and kids were informed ofthe importance of mutual respect. A lot has changed but I will ever remain grateful to have witnessed the 80's and 90's...

Beze992:
Honestly I'm as amazed as you are, one of the mysteries of life I must say. How they will extol the virtues of their wife, and in the same breath ready to cheat on her with any willing woman.
I don't think any human with self esteem intact will love to deputise or play second fiddle except you have an ulterior motive which is the case often times than not. How can you spread your legs for a man that speaks so highly of his wife at home, common sense should tell whoever indulges in such affairs that it's merely short-lived and bereft of love. It's now a norm to date married men as some of the ladies now see it as an upgrade on their lazy asses. Spits! Let me reiterate that a day of reckoning is inevitable for whoever indulges in such despicable affair, you can't wreck homes and contribute to the growing number of troubled kids and probably expect a different treatment all in the guise of married men love better. Relax and watch with bliss how your future husbands will also love whatever's in skirt in your streets. Karma never disappoints, turn a new leaf if you're reading this....

There are certain things even the highest form of education can't explain. No need arguing about the existence of these creatures. A man who has seen so much talks so little. Not everything is explained in your learning textbooks and handouts. There are higher forms of life, the spiritual supercedes the physical. Hope not to see that which will rent your heart to pieces, for the dark feeds on fear.

RomanceRe: It's Not A Crime For Women To Be Of Financial Assistance In Their Families. by Kevsmart88(m): 1:22pm On Apr 15, 2020
xendra:
but how come una brain dey sleep when its time to realise that a man has hands and legs too to be useful at home and help with chores as well.

I can contribute to finances, cater alone for the kids and the house and still be responsible for Bill's while the man just brings what he has and keep extra for his street wores who don't know what the broom in his house looks like cheesy cheesy una try o... and many women wey no know themselves don dey agree with una. but divorce has not stopped increasinggrin

you mentioned family finances, how many families have that? most men don't want their women to know about their money until they nolonger have it, then they want the woman to come and suffer with them

if I see you are doing right but things just aren't working I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE, But if when you have I have no idea and you squander money giving to random people and side chicks cheesy cheesy oga I wouldn't say anything but when it's time to drink garri you must go and bring those friends, relatives and side chicks to come suffer with you together or I too will disappear
It's quite understandable the point you're trying to make here. It's not a taboo if a man does chores neither is it a crime if the woman helps out with lil expenses at home. It all boils down to perfect understanding between both partners. Times have changed, some women earn even more than their husbands and it will only be to the benefits of the kids if the woman eases the burden on the man by rendering some financial aid thereby giving room for the man to look towards investing for the future. Truth be told, it takes longer time for kids without a good financial backing to scale up the ladder when compared to other kids who have some investments to kickstart their career. In the end, both partners will bear the brunt of the decisions made in the early years of marriage. The more reason folks should look beyond good looks when choosing a partner.
RomanceRe: Caught Married Women Cheating by Kevsmart88(m): 8:00pm On Apr 14, 2020
I don't think there's need to play the gender card here, cheating should be condemned for what it is whether perpetrated by the man or the woman. If you ain't comfortable with your spouse, no need going on with the deceit,I mean to what end will you keep leading someone on. I guess greed and insatiable nature of humans won't let them make good decisions even when the consequences/aftermath effect of these decisions are glaring even to the blind. It always ends in tears and regret.

I assisted a lot of people financially and otherwise...i touched souls and blessed people with my talents by grooming them up..young, old, known, unknown...

Few years later, tides turned against me, I fell seriously sick and my business crumbled, the people I helped turned a blind eye...

I called to seek for assistance from some of them but they turned me down....but I'll be fine...

I wish I NEVER MET THESE PEOPLE.
I know how this feels, my heart is broken....I just hope you get better but I wouldn't mind being of assistance in any lil way. If you wouldn't mind, drop your details...

Lots of lessons to extract from this piece, enough of the threads on nairaland bashing women all the time. We need more of this to serve as life lessons to the younger generation. Seun if you're reading this, it's high time you put a stop on so many denigrating threads flooding nairaland about our women cos that's all we read on romance sections these days. Be strong fella, keep the hustle real and diversify, be present in that young hommies life cos that's the perfect gift she left you painful you didn't call back to hear her affirm the legitimacy herself. Finally when the time is right, find a woman that will give you the peace you seek and fill the void shola left....peace bro!
