I was in Mr Biggs yesterday when I suddenly realized I desperately needed to mess, They were playing Don Jazzy’s Dorobucci. The music was really really loud, so I timed my mess with the beat of the music. I was releasing my mess alongside the music so that nobody would hear the sound of the mess although the mess was very loud too. When I finished, I started to feel better but I looked around and noticed that everybody in the restaurant frowned and was staring at me….. Why? Then I suddenly remembered that I was listening to the music with my ear-phone. I almost fainted!!!
You got jokes grin grin grin but I read a similar joke somewhere about a guy that invited guests over for his wife's surprise birthday. Can't remember the story well but she was blindfolded in a room with guests albeit unknowningly to her and she started passing gas thinking she was the only one in the room shocked shocked shocked. Unfortunately, it was really smelly and you can imagine the shame and embarrassment when the fold was untied sad sad

This your joke sounds like this tongue

kelechiMarie:
Life in Nigeria is generally hard for both genders,so many stereotypes prejudices etc. You cant make these things go away but you can choose to rise above it. I told myself that i'll buy my own car and will live alone before i get married(i like staying by myself)and i'm working towards it and will do it. Most Nigerian women subject themselves to this treatment, say and do nothing about it except rant online. I had a friend who said i was too ambitious for a woman shocked i cleared the fellow sharp sharp. No time to waste with folks like that. To women out there:fight for what you want dont expect it to be handed on a platter if not "express go leave you"
Who are you Kelechi? And how did you achieve this? How did you possibly capture everything I stand for in such a few words?
You hit it word after word. The emboldened summarizes everything I have been taught in life.
Gracias!

truth is there are many others who feel like i do. some people tweeted his wife that she shouldn't open her legs until rooney scores a hatrick for man utd. grin
others were not allowed to stay for that long. he got a 6-year contract at 29. players close to 30 normally get 1 year rolling contract. there's a force out there that wants him to beat that record.
how would it oust rooney?
rooney has been made the golden boy. his mistakes & poor performance get overlooked by the pundits. it only takes 1 or 2 bad games for the others to get slaughtered by the british media. rooney has been shyte for 18 months but you won't find any top journalist criticising him.
Who will not like the golden boy naa? cheesy but for GM police to do that publicly, it shows it's becoming very obvious his time may be up or he might just need a change of environment. But when you start thinking like that, he responds immediately like he did in CL lipsrsealed

That bit got me laughing as I can totally relate to it... cheesycheesy

During my adolescent years, it was my mother making such complaints as her husband my father was always away from home for long stretches due to work...consequently, I would be forced to drive & accompany the mechanic most times just to keep an eye on what he was actually changing or working on.

Now, it's a neighbour of mine complaining about the same thing...she would rather wait till her husband returns in 2/3 weeks so he can do the repairs himself if it isn't something that needs urgent attention. gringrin
grin grin can I blame your neighbor? One thing the corporate world has taught me, "outsource/delegate tasks as much as you can, but never be found wanting if/when you are called upon to do it". I had this friend that the driver claimed was very mean to him. Guess what the guy did one day, he parked the car on 3rd mainland bridge and said he was resigning shocked shocked he no work again. Just because he knew my friend couldn't drive sad Hahahaha she said she had to eat the humble pie to start begging the guy, at least make he drive her reach house. Nobody taught her to go for driving lessons. So for ladies, as much as we want to delegate some task to the men for sanity's sake or any other reason, we should still be ready to take up the responsibility anytime. The chicken can come home to roost anytime.

it's taken him 14 years to get there. my great grandmother woulda achieved the same. cheesy

Remember they say it's not how far but how well...at least he did it, others did not

My grievance is with the youngsters from the academy. From Januzaj to Welbeck to Wilson, I think we are making too much excuses for them angry their performance should naturally oust Rooney.

You're right...less whinning, more living.

The thing is that at the end of the day, the guy was right as she probably didn't know anything about cars except refilling the fuel tank and topping up the radiator with coolant... cheesy

What the guy said was a deliberate attempt to rile her up and may not have being intended as a sexist remark.
Even if it was sexist, it is also the truth that on average, most women know absolutely nothing about how their cars run. gringrin
Lol..

Truthfully, initially, I also didn't know anything about cars but I found out that everyone was taking advantage of me due to my ignorance. Between my driver and Elizade, I could swear they were changing the same parts everytime on that ride. I was nearly gong crazy wth their stories. Nobody taught me to get off my lazy butt and update my brain. But currently, I think I only have residual knowledge sha, my husband has since taken up that job function cool but e no mean say if somebody hit me badly, I no go fit talk or estimate the damage, except I just don't wish to.

grin grin grin grin plagiarism huh You'll hear from my lawyers grin

But seriously, women need to be more assertive, live the talk and whine less...

A lady who came to rant on twitter was trending some weeks back. A guy hit her ride and they both got down from their cars to assess the damage and during their talk, the guy told her he couldn't discuss with her but he would rather speak with her husband since women know nothing about cars. She said she was dumbfounded and just stool still, unable to utter a word till they both drove away and the next thing she did was to come and rant online shocked shocked see me see gobe o

Instead of her to put her foot down with the guy, check the damage, display her knowledge of her ride or call her mechanic on the spot for help...or just do something, instead, she stood there like a zombie unable to utter a word thereby proving the silly guy right that women know nothing about cars. Na online she come dey rant dey look for e-supporters when she had the golden opportunity to make an impression and leave an unforgettable mark on the minds of everyone standing there. It's high time our lives reflect what we preach.

Infact, it was this lady I remembered when I typed what I wrote initially cuz this was about the same thing her e-supporters were saying on twitter.

You should have put your foot down!!! Were you working on the Island or Lagos generally? Cuz if you were, it wouldn't be strange. And those babes are not single cool

I got my first official car and a driver in my mid-twenties. I had the option of monetizing the driver's pay if I wanted to but of course, I did not. say wetin happen undecided I remember one or two family friends expressed their fears (maybe because the driver I got was quite advanced in age) but of course I just laughed it off. There is time for everything in life, there is a time to live by other people's rules and there is a time to take your own decisions and be responsible for the outcome. The time for the latter is now!

@topic - as much as I agree it's not easy to be a woman in Nigeria, I would go further to say it's also not easy being a man in Nigeria (abi is it easy to save for years just to use it to pay dowry for woman ni), and teenagers do not have it easy either. Comparatively, I may even say women have it the easiest in Nigeria compared to other natural groups. That's very debatable though. So what's the solution? If life throws you a lemon, make a lemonade out of it. Whining solves nothing!

And like Raumtedeur said, try being a woman in Saudi Arabia shocked
