Igbo is a tough language to learn, thats why most non Igbos cant speak the language. To be able to speak Igbo in its correct tone, you have to be speaking the language early in life. It will take a lot of hard work for someone in their 20's or more to learn to speak Igbo fluently. |

Rossikki: All the more reason why the Biafra idea is STUPID.
Who will be the primary market of this expansion in Anambra State?
NIGERIANS.
Africa's biggest market, and the world's 6th largest consumer market.
Secessionists imagine that they will be able to sell these wares to the world, and don't need the Nigerian market. But they are seriously deluded. Countries are putting up protectionist barriers to build their own local industries. Others like China, have comparative advantage in manufacturing, and will leverage that to start price wars if need be, lowering them to stave off any competition.
Many buying countries would simply prefer the familiarity of Italian or even China made products, and would shun new, unproven stuff from some little African country.
Bottom line: For these Eastern industries to thrive, and take off to the next level, THEY NEED THE NIGERIAN MARKET.
Secession kills that immediately.
Nigeria is projected to become the world's THIRD most populous nation after China and India by 2050.
That is MARKET on a world class scale which Igbo manufacturers can have FIRST ACCESS TO BEFORE ALL-COMERS, if they play their cards right, and remain in the federation.
That FIRST ACCESS to the Nigerian market is already happening slowly, as groups like INNOSON and others get government supply contracts. INNOSON even supplies the Nigerian Airforce with equipment now.
As we approach 2050, the Igbos could become the richest ethnicity in all Africa, and among the richest on earth, if they remain...Nigerians.
A word is enough for the wise. Since when do you need to be part of Nigeria to sell goods and services to Nigeria? Abeg make we hear word |

We are now trying to find if his Benin lineage is the reason Ojukwu started molesting his child called Bianca after severally sleeping with people's wives and breaking many homes even in Nnewi. Maybe it's a norm in Igboland to be lacking in morals. Onoh's son said his ancestor Ozo Ananefu Ngwo, Nwaenugu Nwaene migrated from Bini to present day Enugu. What you should have asked Onoh's son is how his ancestor managed to migrate with an Igbo name? How can someone come from Bini with 4 names that are all Igbo? Can any Bini man tell me what "Nwaenugu Nwaene" means? I dont know where Onoh's sons ancestor migrated from, whether Bini or somewhere else, but he certainly isn't a Bini man because no Bini man can have the Igbo names "Ozo Ananefu Ngwo, Nwaenugu Nwaene" This is the same laughable thing they said about Ikwerres, that they migrated from Bini, dropped their Bini names and language and in record time, learnt the Igbo language(which is a very difficult language to learn) and then proceeded to give their villages Igbo names. You people will not kill me with laughter |

Ok. Thanks for answering my question.
It is a shame though, that you couldn't, despite all the hype about the boy, tell me one useful thing 9r positive impact he's made on Ndigbo. Very shameful indeed. Thought you'd point some positives, rather your strategy was to point to other devils and compare your devil to theirs.
That's a very big flop. Of course you have to compare Kanu with what obtains in Nigeria. An Igbo man who is doing business in the North has nothing to fear from IPOB or Kanu, he has everything to fear from all the armed bandits roaming the North. The people of Nimbo in Enugu state have nothing to fear from IPOB or Kanu, they have everything to fear from the killer herdsmen massacred 20 people there in 2016. The people of Awgu, who are mainly farmers, have no fear that IPOB will go and destroy their farms, they are crying that their livelihood has consistently destroyed by armed herdsmen. In Ohaozara in Ebonyi, they now sleep with their two eyes open, not because of IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu, but because they are routinely massacred by armed Northern elements. The list is endless. So if you ask people who are being killed, displaced, raped and marginalised if Nnamdi Kanu has brought shame to them, they will look at you as if you are a fool. Other groups are out there killing people, burning down communities, raping women, destroying livelihood, taking over peoples lands, and you are asking about an unarmed Kanu who only has his mouth? The day Abacha died, many Nigerians came out on the streets to openly rejoice, was that terrorism or extremism? It may be morally wrong to rejoice at the death of a person because of his religious inclination, but it is legally right. Anyone is free to rejoice at the death of another, it is not against the law What amazes about you Nigerians is that you have have several armed movements out there from Boko haram to killer herdsmen to Niger Delta militants to bandits in the North, all armed and killing people daily. CrimeKsmart: YET ANOTHER LESSON FROM THE NORTH TO SOUTHERNERS Until the majority of southerners learn to be mature, tolerant and patriotic in their reactions to thorny national issues, we shall never get tired of citing the exemplary maturity, tolerance and the legendary patience of the northerners to them. The two pictures below are those of two Nigerian soldiers: one Igbo, the other 'Hausa'. The Igbo, Private Azunna Maduabuchi, shot the 'Hausa' man, Lt. Babakaka Shehu Ngorgi, six times in the back while the officer was on phone talking to his newly wedded wife. Maduabuchi was alleged to have shouted, after killing his boss: "I have achieved my aim". It is to be noted that the slain officer was his (Maduabuchi's) commanding officer at the Boko Haram warfront. I am sure so many people reading this post are reading about the incident for the first time. Please, those of you who have conscience, tell me what could have been the reactions of the Igbo, CAN, southerners and northern Christians, if the incident were the other way round, namely, a Hausa other rank soldier shot his Igbo commanding officer six times in the back for no apparent reason ? Hell would have been let loose, Facebook and Twitter would have been painted red; tonnes of insults, vituperations and invective hurled on Hausa-Fulani, Muslims, prophet Muhammad and Islam. It would be recalled that when Flying officer, Tolulope Arotile was killed in error, in an auto crash by her secondary school ex-mates, some people had already started weaving conspiracy theories, insinuating that she was killed by Muslims, who were envious of her feats as the first female combat helicopter pilot in NAF, until the timely press release by the Nigeria Airforce which disclosed the names of the occupants of the SUV which crushed her, who all turned out to be her fellow Christians. Some people have already attributed the Private Maduabuchi's action to the combat-induced Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), which predisposes troops who experienced war to some psychiatric problems. However, pending the full investigations into the incident by the military authorities, I have my doubts. The young Igbo soldier might have been a victim of the brainwashing, hate speeches and inciting to violence against Hausa-Fulani and Muslims generally, by the runaway and cowardly terrorist, Nnamdi Kanu, which he has been carrying out in his Radio Biafra, especially bearing in mind what the boy was reported to have allegedly said after killing the officer. May Allah have mercy on the soul of Lt. Babakaka Shehu, a Kanuri from Borneo state; and forgive his shortcomings.
#Copied I dont know how factual this story is about an Igbo Soldier shooting his commanding officer, too many fake news out there. What I do know is that the North is neither mature nor tolerant and their idea of being patriotic is being in control of Nigeria. The proof is in the time line of Igbos killed in the North Jos, June 1945- Hundreds of Igbos massacred Kano, 1953 - Hundreds of Igbos massacred May to October 1966 - Over 30,000 Igbos, men, women and children slaughtered all over the North Sharia riots of 2002 - Thousands of Igbos masacred all over the North Maidugri, 2006 - Over 100 Igbos lost their lives in a massacre caused by a Danish cartoon of prophet Mohammed Other situations where Igbos have been killed in the North are: Kano 1980 Maiduguri 1982 Jimeta 1984 Gombe 1985 Zaria 1987 Kaduna & Kafanchan 1991 Bauchi & Katsina 1991 Kano 1991 Zangon-Kataf 1992 Funtua 1993 Kano 1994 Kaduna 2000 Kaduna 2001 Maiduguri 2001 Maiden Crisis-Setember 2001 Kaduna 2002 Jos-November 2008 Beheading of Gideon Akaluka in December of 1996 in a POLICE STATION in Kano Saint Moritz killed December 2001 25. The North can get Senate President or Speaker. That is the only way we can support him. Imagine no Igbo man as President or Vice-President since 1999 and we are talking about justice and equity In Nigeria, a presidential candidate can never pick someone who is from the same half of the country as himself. But I think Ogundipe knew that his own people had no stomach for armed struggle. He knew his people could not fight, so hr went to a ship and sailed away. How could the take control of their commands when they were in the North? How would that have been even remotely possible? The North is not their Region. But Ogundipe and Adebayor were all shoved aside right their in their own Region. How the Yorubas stood idly by and their Military Governor was murdered, their most senior who should have been president was chased out of Nigeria, all of this happening in Yoruba land, and they did absolutely nothing Can you imagine if Enugu had been capital of Nigeria and had Ironsi as head of state and Ojukwu as Military Governor of the Eastern Region. Northerners will go and kill Ojukwu and Ironsi then bring Gowon to come and rule from Enugu? Igbos would burnt Enugu down with Gowon and his Northerners. Ogundipe was a coward just like Adebayo. On the death of Ironsi, Brigadier Ogundipe and Colonel Adebayo were the two most most senior officers of the Nigerian Army. Yet Ogundipe was chased out of Lagos while Adebayo was made Military Governor of the Western Region by his junior, Lt Colonel Gowon. What a disgrace
Yorubas were literally held hostage in their own land by the Northerners, their Military Governor, Lt Col Fajuyi was murdered and their two most senior officers, Brigadier Ogundipe and Colonel Adebayo, who were then the two most senior officers of the Nigerian Army, were shoved aside to make way for Lt Col Gowon who was far junior to them.
In all of this, the Yoruba nation kept mute out of their fear of the North. They let the North steamroll over them without even the slightest protest.
Even to this day, many Yorubas still praise themselves for allowing the Northerners use them as a door mat while insulting Ojukwu who stood up to fight for the dignity of his people |

Igboid: How exactly does this question change the fact that majority of minorities want no referendum in their region?
Are you trying to make yourself a Luggard and British who now decide for people where to belong?
Can you not see how empty your argument is?
Irrespective of how these people became Nigerians, they are now comfortable and happy with that tag and have not given you the mandate to give them another tag. You are playing Luggard (the same luggard you malign ) by trying to force referendum or your Biafra down their throat. They have rejected your Biafra. Show self dignity for crying out loud, move on! Are you this brain dead? What are you up-to when you keep forcing things on a people that have repeatedly rejected it? Stop making enemies for Ndiigbo. Stop clowning around already. This a very simple to understand. We are all in a Nigeria that nobody agitated for, nobody consented to join and nobody was asked through plebiscite or referendum if they wanted to be part of in the first place. So anyone coming from the point of Nigeria is coming a point of inferiority. The Biafrans(IPOB), on the other hand, are coming from a position of superiority because they are agitating for Biafra, both in the SE and SS, and they want that Biafra to be created for only those who give their consent via a referendum. So as a Nigerian who is coming from a position of inferiority of an imposed country, you have no basis to argue with IPOB who are coming from the superior position of a Biafra created by democratic referendum If Nigerians feel that IPOB is dragging some areas into a referendum they never asked for, then Nigerians should agree to immediate dissolution of Nigeria that we were all dragged into with anyones consent. If Nigeria is dissolved, then we can start talking about who wants to drag who into what But to come from the position of an imposed country to question those who want a country created democratically is a non-starter. |

The minorities are comfortable in Nigeria on the majority. Let them be. Scotland referendum was agitated for Scotland by Scottish people and was conducted only in Scotland.
If IPOB is not going to agitate for Igbo cause, Ndiigbo will reject you too, like the minorities have. You are becoming a liability to everyone. Did anyone beg to be part of Nigeria? But we are all part of Nigeria. Since nobody agitated or begged to be part of Nigeria, it then follows that any organisation can agitate for any part of Nigeria to have a referendum.
