First thing first, I didn't say that I hate women, I hate people telling me to respect women because they're women.

That has been the most illogical thing I have come across in recent years.

People should be respected because they earned it not because they've a vagina.

Back to the issue at hand, if a marriage ends because a man surprised his house help then the marriage has no genuine foundation, possibly shouldn't have existed in the first place.

I have seen families where the house help is like a legitimate member of the family, eats with them and sometimes wears same clothes with the kids.

I understand the point she was trying to make, yours too but people who take little things like this one here seriously bore me.

Sometime ago, someone posted on Twitter that she can't continue in a marriage if her mother inlaw serves her husband food without passing through her.

Something she suppose wash hand join if she dey hungry ni. Why do we make mountains out of molehills?

A lot of females said that the mother inlaw was wrong.

Get this correctly, because a man is married, his mother mother can no longer serve him food. Maybe that was his favorite food. See the madness?

For someone of us who won't marry from our state let alone local government, that means that we will no longer eat some local dishes that our wives do not how to cook.

I spent a good part of my childhood days in my Aunt's house, now there's this local food that I don't joke with and this woman knows this.

Till today, once I am in the east, my Aunt will cook the food and bring it to my house.

That's going to stop if we should continue all these unnecessary Dos and Donts, I mean if a mother can't serve his married son breakfast then who is an Aunt to do so.

Telling a religious person not to do what a prophet /pastor said is like advising a teen in love. It's a waste of time. They prefer to learn from their own mistakes.

There is this lady that I met in a church sometime ago, I was invited by a close friend and they're close so we connected.

Got talking one day and she told me how the pastor has been rejecting all the men that wanted to marry her.

This lady is educated, gainfully employed and has businesses but a pastor is the reason she's not married.

After listening to what she said were the pastor's reasons, I told her to quit the church because the pastor has his own plans.

Secondly, she's beautiful and has large things in the right places so the pastor obviously wanted some but she didn't listen.

Long story short, the pastor asked her to bring oil and other things for cleansing so that her husband would locate her.

She was asked to strip during prayers and she complied, he bathed her and told her to lay down on the table so he could oil her body ;she obeyed. The rest nah story.

She did quit the church but that was after the pastor collected some.

The woman in the OP will still do what the prophet said but on a different date so that Poco won't know.

2 days after I found out and going through emotional turmoil. I resolved to do the Christ-like thing and give the marriage a chance. I spoke to her at length and tried to convince her of her folly. It's one thing for a woman to cheat and another thing for her to cheat proudly and rub it on your face, it's not for me to tell you what to do but one thing is obvious, your marriage is gone.

Trying to salvage it for the sake of the kids will end in more tears, trust me on this.

It's akin to postponing the major pains because it's either she leaves later or she will remove you from this earth so she can have her way.

Stay away from her.
