In a heart-stopping act of bravery, a young boy from Nigeria took on a deadly cobra to protect his family. The courageous child, whose identity remains anonymous, sprang into action when he noticed a venomous cobra lurking among a stack of blocks near his home.

The incident unfolded outside his residence, where the boy spotted the dangerous snake while playing outside with his siblings. Without hesitation, he realized the imminent danger to his family and quickly devised a plan.

Armed with nothing but his wits and determination, the fearless boy carefully approached the cobra, keeping his calm despite the life-threatening situation. With steady hands, he managed to capture the snake and secure it, preventing any harm from coming to his mother and younger siblings.

How many able-bodied men would be willing or able to do? shocked

If it's a poisonous snake, then that's dangerous in the event of a bite and the absence of snake anti-venom vaccines.

Lolz you're welcome 😁🙏

I schooled just by his hospital at Gwagwalada Abuja.
Ah! That's good to know. So, I can safely assume the hospital is at Gwagwalada. I'll also check YouTube for as much info about his vaccine. Just to add here, there is a procedure called PRT that is widely used in treatments all over the world as we speak which involves the extraction of plasma with a centrifuge from blood samples.

The blood plasma is then re-injected back into the bloodstream and it aids faster healing of all kinds of injuries or wounds found in athletes and even for those with scalding of the skin or sprained ankles. So, Dr. Abalaka's blood vaccine cannot be strange to the world and I'm really excited about his Triple Cure Vaccine which follows the same principle of blood transfusion.

Thanks again.

*THE ODI MASSACRE:*

On November 4th, 1999….

An armed gang killed 7 policemen in the community of Odi, Bayelsa State. Few days later they killed 5 more policemen.

President Obasanjo immediately wrote the excerpt below to the Governor of Bayelsa state Diepreye Alamieyeseigha giving him 2 weeks to fish out the members of the gang & arraign them in a criminal court.

Many may not know but the gang that killed those policemen were used by the Governor & his party (PDP) during democratic elections in February 1999 to commit illegalities and Obasanjo already knew this.

The Problem was that Alamieyeseigha and the powers that be left them to run riot in various villages, towns and communities in Bayelsa.

After the two week ultimatum, the Governor couldn’t seem to arrest a known criminal & political thug who he used during his elections in February 1999.

So Obasanjo sent the Minister of Police Affairs, Major-General David Jemibewon (rtd.) and Senate President, Dr. Chuba Okadigbo to speak to Gov Alamieyeseigha.

He kept telling the same story but as they pressed the Governor harder, he gave up one name…

- Ken Niweigha aka Daddy Ken

Ken Niweigha (Pictured Below) was said to be many things

-a gang leader
- a career militant
- a highway robber
- a renown cultist
- a kidnapper
- a sea pirate on Nigerian waters.

Some say Ken was part of The Supreme Egbesu aka Egbesu Boys & The Asawana Boys both affiliated with the IYC - The Ijaw Youth Council.

Here -

Ken was also said to be the son of a Police Officer who chased away his father’s wives & used their house as a Command Center for his criminal activities.

For his role in the election rigging, Ken Niweigha was to be compensated but he got used and dumped. With the guns and reputation he had, he began his reign of terror on Yenagoa and other communities.

Obasanjo knew all of these.

Ken’s reign lasted from the elections in February 1999 until September 1999 when a Police Area Commander in Yenagoa, Mr. Thomas Jokotola, CSP, led an operation to dislodge Ken and his gang from their ‘Command Center’ and put an end to his reign of terror.

Jokotola succeeded killing & arresting many of Ken’s associates especially in the ‘Black Market’ area of Yenagoa but as Ken’s gang escaped they met soldiers at Habour Road, Yenegoa & killed all the soldiers.

Two months after that, on November 4th 1999, CSP Thomas Jokotola entered Odi with 6 other policemen on a special operation.

Ken and his Gang ambushed CSP Jokotola and his men.

In the end, all 7 policemen were MURDERED in Odi by Ken and his Asawana boys.

Their names are…

1. CSP Thomas Jokotola - Osun
2. DSP George Nwine - Rivers
3. St. Emmanuel Bako - Bauchi
4. CPL Ayuba Silas - Kaduna
5. PC Shaibu Zamani - Kaduna
6. CPL Elias Bitrus - Borno
7. CPL Robinson Obazee - Edo

And as earlier stated Obasanjo stepped in and gave the Governor 2 weeks to get things under control

4 days later in Kaiama, Bayelsa on Monday November 8, 1999 to be exact, 3 more Policemen were killed by some people in Odi

Their names…

1. Sgt. Alhaji Atabor - Kogi
2. PC Stephen Abu - Cross-Rivers
3. PC Umoh Ukbo - Cross-Rivers

After the 2 weeks given to the Governor expired on 18th, Obasanjo swung into action…

First He declared a state of emergency in Bayelsa.

Then drafted his Minister of Defence General TY Danjuma to send in Lieutenant Colonel Agbabiaka & 300 soldiers to Odi under the command of ECOMOG War Hero & hyper-efficient killing machine - General Victor Malu.

The instruction was simple - dislodge perpetrators of violence, restore law and order & apprehend the suspected murderers.

The mission was code named Operation Hakuri II, the Navy was also instructed to ensure no one escaped via the waterways, while the Police had the task of containing the civilians.

In less than 48 hours the most of Odi was leveled to the ground.

Only a church, schools, hospitals and a bank building survived the operation. Nothing which had life - man or animal - was breathing or moving.

Everything else was rubble or dead flesh.

What many will NEVER reveal when they recount the Odi Massacre is that Lt. Col. Agbabiaka and his men were ambushed between Kaiama and Odi before getting to their destination.

4 soldiers died.

Lt. Col. Agbabiaka called General Victor Malu to update him about the ambush and asked if he should call of the Operation. Malu asked him if he had completed his objective. Agbabiaka answered “No, Sir”.

Malu told him to proceed until the objective of the mission was achieved and then went to brief President Obasanjo.

Agbabiaka got to Odi and came under what he reported as “Heavy and Sustained fire”. The militants were shooting at the soldiers from built up areas, inside houses and buildings.

The militants were using civilians as human shields. Agbabiaka came up with a tactical assault plan to destroy every building the militants fired from. Many RPGs, Three 81mm Mortars, Two 105mm Howitzers and other high caliber explosives were used to blow up every building. The militants retreated to the creeks. Unfortunately, the Navy did not perform as well as expected and the Police Mobile forces were MIA.

Again Ken ESCAPED!

Below is an excerpt about the Odi massacre read from Gen Victor Malu’s Book - In The Name Of Victor.

Over ~375 people were reportedly killed in the most widely condemned military action since the General Sani Abacha pacifist troops overran Ogoniland.

Senate President Chuba Okadigbo & Wole Soyinka called it “high handedness” and “a callous overkill”.

The force commander, Lt.-Col. Agbabiaka, explained away the massacre to Chuba Okadigo & his team of senators as a 'defensive action.' 🙄

Obasanjo called it “the animalism of the military”.

10 years later, Ken Niweigha was finally arrested in 2009 when he allegedly attempted to kill the Bayelsa State Commisioner of Police, Onouha Uka Udeka in a shoot out at a check point on a Tuesday Night.

Despite being LG Coordinator of the Bayelsa Volunteers (a state security outfit) under Gov. Timipre Sylvia and his subsequent suspension, The SSS had slated Ken down for arrest and prosecution for illegal possession of arms and gun running.

The next day, Ken was led to his arms dump in Odi for evidence collection where the Police were ambushed by members of Ken’s gang and Ken was killed in the shoot out!

In 2013, Justice Lambi Akanbi of the Federal High Court ordered the FG to pay the victims of the Odi Massacre 37.6 Billion Naira as compensation. He gave a 3 week ultimatum.

On May 26, 2014, President Goodluck Jonathan & the FG negotiated an out of court settlement of N15billion and paid the compensation.

If you know Nigerian History, you can literally predict the future.

RIP to the murdered officers of 181 Amphibious Battalion and the 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army.
Succinctly stated.

The talk is about treating or curing HIV which Abalaka does.
You speak with a lot of certainty in the last paragraph... Have you ever had direct contact with Abalaka or know folks who have been treated or cured of HIV through his blood transfusion treatment?

It's great you have a screenshot of the exact area of the Guardian article where the gentleman said he NEVER said his vaccine is a cure for AIDS.

I clearly stated the vaccine is PREVENTATIVE and the article link I gave also states that it's CURATIVE against HIV, and two other viruses. Therefore the Abalaka vaccine has a dual role of preventing and curing HIV.

Vaccines on a global scale are usually meant to PREVENT the multiplication of viral loads so there is NO contradiction in my original post.

Last but not least, there is a MAJOR difference between HIV and AIDS. HIV refers to the virus or viral strains, while AIDS refers to the breakdown in the immune system that leads to the development of series of opportunistic diseases such as tuberculosis, hepatitis B, and more. I have been seeing some people mixing HIV and AIDS interchangeably since I first heard and read of HIV and AIDS back in 1984 and with the death of Rock Hudson.

I also must state here that if a person has an innovative or good product, the whole world would stand still for him or her (regardless of any covert or overt interference from any Western government OR Big Pharma).

Is the West gonna dictate to Russia, Japan, Singapore, China or India, what policies or drugs to use for the BEST interest of their citizens? ABSOLUTELY NOT! So, it's left for Dr. Abalaka, the initiator of the Triple Cure Vaccine (which involves the extraction and re-injection of the blood back into the bloodstream in order to get a preventative and curative effect on the viral load) to fully make his formula and facts open with more clinical trials for the benefit of all. Already, he said those he has cured don't want to come out to prevent stigmatization but more enlightenment has to be done by him and others who believe in him.

Can you explain further based on the screenshot below? Because the article mentioned Abalaka stating he cures HIV not "prevent"...

Even this NL article wasn't taking about curing AIDS, I wonder what's the idea of taking Abalaka towards that when that's not the bone of contention. You sound like one of those doctors...

Even if he prevents as you would accept, isn't it like a 5000 miles jump from where we are? I mean look at the what I will call a crude effort of these scientists. I am sure you will mock it if it was a Abalaka..."editing DNA" when someone has an obviously better , faster and less tedious process.

You seem not to grasp how the pharmaceutical world operates even with the latest scams esposed around the Corona Virus.
It's good you have a screenshot of the exact area of the Guardian article where the gentleman said he NEVER said his vaccine is a cure for AIDS. If you check the screenshot I have attached to this very post, you will see where he stated that he has NEVER said his vaccine cures AIDS.

HIV and AIDS are NOT the same and are two different definitions.

I clearly stated the vaccine is PREVENTATIVE and the article link I gave also states that it's CURATIVE against HIV, and two other viruses. Therefore the Abalaka vaccine has a DUAL role of preventing and curing HIV. I was very clear on that.

Vaccines on a global scale are usually meant to PREVENT the multiplication of viral loads so, there is NO contradiction in my original post.

I have NOTHING against innovation and the vaccine itself, so, I don't know how you arrived at the conclusions in your post that I'm against the Abalaka vaccine? As long as it passes or has passed clinical trials to ensure it's fit for human administration, then those who are infected with HIV are good to go!

Last but not least, there is a MAJOR difference between HIV and AIDS. HIV refers to the virus or viral strains, while AIDS refers to the breakdown in the immune system which then leads to the development of series of opportunistic diseases such as tuberculosis, hepatitis B, and more. The one that hurts me is when other customers use their left hand they usually use to clean their ass in the toilet to touch the garri I'm buying right before my eyes and I want to drink some whenever I'm lazy to cook.

Someone of them even wipe their nose, clean their hands on their clothes and go straight to touching garri they want to buy. I get angry with that, so I buy mostly from the main source — people that fry it.

A Nigerian feels like "dirty no dey kill African man," so touching people's food is nothing.

It's the women that always do this. They'll touch everything at the market, but will never buy if the price goes up by just 10 Naira. If you caution them, they'll finish you with badmouth.

This is probably why some rich men eat semo and the other pounded ones instead of garri every old, young, unhygienic, and dirty people have touched.

Some buyers self, when they're tasting the garri, they put their mouth in the basin so that the rest their moth could hold will fall inside the basin. cry
This is insightful.

Global standards have to really be set in all Nigerian markets with the collaboration of the market leaders by ensuring that food or phytosanitary inspectors go round the markets in a discrete manner so as not to arouse suspicion and get the obstinate ones among the food and fruit sellers NOT covering their food items, (or NOT wearing disposable nylon gloves) arrested and penalized for violating sanitary rules.

The punishments could be in form of community service such as cleaning the environment after prosecution in a mobile court.

HIV/AIDS Cure
How the West deceives Nigeria – Jacob Abdulahi
By TONY ICHEKU, Abuja
Monday, November 26, 2007

•Dr Jacob Abdulahi

Since 1998, Dr Jacob Abdulahi has been singing he has a cure for HIV/AIDS, but he is a sad man. He is in despair because there is a grand conspiracy behind the so-called search for HIV/AIDS cure. He contends that the Nigerian government is being led by the nose by Western powers and the United States of America (USA) in believing that the dreaded disease cannot be cured.

If not, why has the government refused to accept my claims that I have a cure? He asks. He spoke extensively with Daily Sun about his HIV/AIDS cure and the controversy on whether the disease is curable or not.

Abdulahi, a holder of M.Sc Immunology was unequivocal in his assertion that cure for HIV/AIDS is possible.
"But is the US interested?", he asks sadly. In 1998, we had 25 patients, who were treated between August and November with Winniecure. The people concerned were close friends and relations with known locations. In November 2005, we did the viral load for the 25 persons, and 20 were viral negative, two had viral rebound, one was 250, the other was 230 copies of the virus, three had invalid results.

In the USA, if viral load is not more than 100,000, there will be no ARV administration. Indifference really, It is true that the former governments were not interested in what we are saying about the treatment or cure for HIV/AIDS. It is as if the Federal Government was being controlled and being lured by the Western powers, especially the USA government. All the Anti-Retroviral (ARV) drugs are manufactured by the USA, and they visually control the issues on HIV/AIDS, including distribution of condoms and other campaigns on HIV/AIDS. And most of the non-governmental agencies (NGOs) are initiated and controlled by the Americans, talk of USAID, GHAIN, and the rest of them. And the money they are pushing here is to sustain the campaign by the NGOs that there is no known cure.

They make sure the campaign gets down to the grassroots, and the NGOs in collaboration with government agencies control the campaign. The past government of President Olusegun Obasanjo was not interested in the cure. In July, 2000 after the National Assembly Public Hearing on HIV/AIDS, only myself and Dr Abalaka were recommended, our drugs were recommended for verification. The US government sent a five-man delegation led by Hon. Jim McDemott, from the Congressional Task-force on HIV/AIDS to the public hearing and they also met with me and Dr Abalaka.

When we showed them what we were doing, they expressed satisfaction. But we parted ways when I refused their offer that I emigrate to the US. Even the money that was released for clinical trials by the National Assembly was not extended to us. After the National Assembly Public Hearing they said they have set up a Presidential Committee, and when we met with the Committee, members said that there was no financial backing for out project and since then, nothing has happened. What do we mean by the cure that we have been heralding since 1998?

To me, there is no disease that has no cure and to many Nigerians, especially those who read the holy books such as the Bible and Holy Koran know there is no disease without a cure. And before that disease comes out, God must have revealed the cure to somebody. That is what we are saying that HIV is curable. We have shown some people who had tested positive to HIV and after our medication, they become negative. The people have come out to testify in the media, but nobody takes us serious. I say, the past government was not interested in seeking the cure for HIV/AIDS because here at the Winners Medical Diagnostic and Research Institute, Garki II Abuja, its about four kilometers to the office of the Minister of Health, so there is no information that they want about what we are doing that they cannot access.

Winniecure Dr Jacob Abdulahi since 1998 has maintained that he has discovered the cure for HIV/AIDS. He explains that HIV is an immunological disease which targets immune cells. According to him, there is a principle we drafted eight years ago which is used in treating some virus induced incurable disease and it is called: immuno-therapy. We looked at the architecture of the body. The body is meant to cure itself, drugs do not cure per see, but only reduces bacterial, parasitic, fungal or viral load within the system after which the body takes over the healing process. When a person is infected by HIV, the immune cells are attacked, but the infected cells appear normal as it does not die immediately. It begins to replicate within the infected cells preparatory to taking over other cells on liberation from that infected cell. This continues until more cells are attacked.

At infection, a proteinous material known as histo-compatibility complex appears on the surface of the cell, to indicate or serve as a marker to the cyto-toxic cells or natural killer cells known as CD8 for it to be destroyed. The destroyed infected cells are mopped out of the body system through a process called phagocytosis. What Winniecure does, is to empower the natural killer or cyto-toxic cells to recognize and kill the infected cells which contain HIV virus and then remove them from the body. Winniecure has cytokines and chemokines. Cytokines help the natural killer cells to recognize infected cells. Chemokines help to mobilize the natural killer cells to the infected sites. The body needs additional help to act in this manner and Winniecure provides that help.

This is a workable principle to cure HIV. The body must recognize which is part of itself and which is not. Auto immunity will set in when the body cannot recognize self. When drugs cause this to set in, we call it drug reaction. Winniecure is a drug of nature.
We have 80% cure rate, ordinarily, we have about 95% success rate. We have 80% cure rate and 95% success rate, and that is why critics, government, nobody can stop us based on fallacy, we have records, we can be proved right or wrong. Its a big deception to infer that the Western powers and the US fund our local NGOs to sustain the campaign against HIV/AIDS. Its our government that imports the ARV. What the West does is to give with the left hand and take back with the right. All they are doing is to keep their economy buoyant. The NGOs campaign that people should go on ARV because it is the only hope for people with HIV. I do not know in monetary terms the amount involved, but it is one big business.

In those days, they were buying generic ARV from India until they discovered that it is not comparable to the one made by the parent company, Pfizer in the USA . It is a business in its entirety, all over the world. I was recently in France to meet with some companies that were interested in obtaining exclusive right to distribute our drug in Europe or buy the patent for the drug. Winnicure has a cure rate of over 80%, and there is not even a cure rate of one per cent anywhere in the world. For the past eight years, we have been saying that we have a cure for HIV/AIDS, but our government has not taken interest to put the claims to test or prove whether it is true or not. Killer drug really, ARV is a killer drug, it is highly toxic.

About two months ago, South Africa outright rejected ARV and they gave Pfizer three months to defend what they claim that the drug is doing vis-a-vis what they have seen from the test they did on those taking ARV. It is either the liver is almost completely damaged by the drugs whereas they were not having any liver problem before they started taking ARV or the kidney is almost gone whereas from the baseline tests they did, they had no kidney problem before they started taking the drug. ARV is just like ogogoro, or kai-kai, the person taking it feels he is very strong, whereas if you look at the lung and liver, the liver is degenerating, they are emanciating, but they still feel they are normal.

Looking at the other internal parameters, it is usually abnormal. It is only Nigeria that is not ready to say or accept the truth. If you take ARV for 20 years, it cannot reverse a person’s HIV status, and the ARV cannot be administered on people still having their immunity intact. If the immune system is still functioning, ARV can not be administered. The minimum immune level is 460, it can be up to 1,450, so between 460 to 1,400, ARV will not be administered, even at the minimum CD4 count of about 250 cells/ul, it will not be given. ARV is given when the CD4 is less than 200. The reason is that the person must get to the level of having AIDS before the drug is administered.

About 75% of People Living With HIV (PLWH) are not qualified to take ARV, some until five years later. Only about 25% could be qualified to take ARV. But in their campaign, as if anybody with HIV can take ARV, but it is not automatic. The reason is because of the side effects. Not every PLWH can take it. ARV is a drug taken for life, when you start, you do not stop, and if you begin taking it by 6p.m, subsequently, you must take it at 6p.m not 6.30p.m. The drug is given almost at the point of death, when someone’s immunity is battered and the person is beginning to manifest symptoms of AIDS. Therefore, if it kills that person because of the side effects, the toxicity level, they have not done anything bad. But if it prolongs the person’s life, fine.

They have achieved their aims. That is the reason they give at low CD4 count, and majority of PLWH are not on ARV. The essence of what we are saying is that we have a solution, ARV is not a solution, it is only to help those who are about to die. The PLWH who are not put on ARV are simply told to go and live positively, or to go and take a good diet. They are only campaigning that it is advantageous to know your HIV status so that you will not infect others. But about 80 % of PLWH will not be qualified to take ARV till four-five years later. Those who testify that they have been taking ARV and are okay are those who have eaten deep into the money given by the foreign NGOs, they have access to these funds.

Some of them have no jobs, no means of livelihood, I know some of them. Concluding, Abdulahi, who did a stint at the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD) said that he had already begun talks with the Umaru Yar’Adua’s administration through the health ministry and expressed hope that Mr President’s scientific background, his preference for rule of law and sincerity will help advance his scientific quest and pursuits and possibly ensure that Nigeria emerges as the nation which disc.overed the cure for HIV/AIDS.

Your comment is HIGHLY misleading!

Kemi Adeosun did NOT commit ANY crime or offence over any NYSC exemption certificate. It was when she arrived in Nigeria with her husband from Britain (her birthplace) at over 30 years of age (after her 10 years of marriage) that someone suggested that she could apply for the NYSC exemption and that was how she fell into the hands of a syndicate that specializes in issuing out exemptions. The NYSC Director General at that time actually stated that Kemi Adeosun officially applied for it because the application was in their official records but a different altered document was given to her through a third party. Many Diasporans have fallen victim to syndicates in Nigeria who scam them while applying for driver's licences, and other official documents.

Kemi Adeosun took it upon herself to voluntarily resign because that was the honorable thing to do and that is the custom in her country of citizenship and birth, England.

As a purely British-born woman of Ijebu parentage from Ijebu Waterside in Ogun State, she first visited Nigeria on a holiday at the age of 18 years but never returned until after the age of 30 after she had gotten married to a her current husband. For up to 10 years after her marriage, she was still based in England where she was born while her Nigerian husband was flying in and out of the UK to take care of his business dealings in Nigeria while she worked FULL time in a very senior position at PwC.

It was in the course of relocating to Nigeria to be with her husband because of marital pressures of long distance that she resigned from her prestigious Price Waterhouse Coopers senior executive job and came to Nigeria.

INFACT being a British woman with their family house in England, Kemi Adeosun had NO need for the NYSC exemption because she, her siblings and parents NEVER lived in Nigeria (after the parents migrated to England in the early 1960s) and Kemi had ALL her education from Nursery, Primary, Secondary, and University in England.

She had granted a 3-page Punch newspaper interview when she was the Commissioner of Finance in Ogun State (years before the NYSC certificate issue) where she gave a full account of her family history.

Irish Prime Minister, Varadkar Announces Resignation Over 'Personal, Political Reasons'

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar says he will step down as leader of the country soon as a successor is chosen.

Varadkar in a resignation statement outside Government offices in Dublin on Wednesday said he is also quitting immediately as head of Fine Gael Party, part of Ireland's coalition Government.

He will be replaced as Prime Minister after a Party leadership contest.

According to Associated Press, Varadkar said his reasons were "both personal and political."

"When I became Party leader and Taoiseach (Prime Minister) back in June 2017, I knew that one part of leadership is knowing that the time has come to pass on the baton to somebody else, and then have the courage to do it. That time is now,"

"I am resigning as President and leader of Fine Gael effective today and will resign as the Taoiseach as soon as my successor is able to take up that office."

"I'm proud that we have made the country a more equal and more modern place," he said.

Varadkar, 45, has had two spells as taoiseach, or Prime Minister — between 2017 and 2020, and again since December 2022.

He was the country's youngest-ever leader when first elected, as well as Ireland's first openly gay Prime Minister.

Varadkar, whose mother is Irish and father is Indian, was also Ireland's first biracial taoiseach.

Smh. If it's since last year, Stanbic will not just be informing their customers now. The effective date is April 1, 2024. There's free float and enough dollars now in the market. Most people are bidding for dollars at lower value now.

They will be tracked down, arrested and prosecuted. Most BDCs have lost their licenses and their collaborators on Binance are now under the radar of security agencies.
Very soon, even people will be chasing naira with USD. For most Nigerians, if they are are to be paid in Nigeria today, they will rather collect naira than USD because of the stability now in the forex market unlike before.

Smh. You shah love to stress yourself unnecessarily when all you need is to ask for clarification politely. The effective date is 1st April, 2024, that's a day after the 31st March deadline to file tax returns.

From April 1 henceforth, it will now be across board. It's like the policy that mandates linking your BVN to NIN, the Federal Government is yet to fully effect it but some banks can still open bank account for you without NIN. When the CBN announces final effective date, it will now become a general rule and standard. Kapish?

FreeStuffsNG:
Nigerian banks are now requesting that customers applying for forex transactions via a Form A must now provide at least the last 3 years tax clearance certificate.

Nairametrics confirmed this from an email notification from Standard Chartered Bank to its customers.

According to the notice, effective April 1, 2024, all Standard Chartered Bank customers who use Form A for applications are mandated to upload their TCC for the last three assessment years—2021, 2022, and 2023.

This requirement applies to both new and existing Form A applications processed on the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) trade monitoring system (TRMS).

The bank emphasises that all submitted TCCs will be verified in collaboration with state tax issuing authorities before the approval of any application.

What You Should Know

Form A is an application form designed by CBN to pay for service transactions (invisible trade) that allows customers to make payments for services such as school fees, technical fees, dividends, airline tickets, loan repayment, judgment debt, personal home remittance, PTA, BTA, among others.

Banks, such as Fidelity Bank and Stanbic IBTC, have earlier released similar circulars to their customers. Urging them to submit their TCC to get approval for foreign exchange requests, such as Form A applications.

A Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) is a document that certifies that a company or individual has settled the income taxes due for the three preceding years of assessment.

It is a prerequisite for official transactions conducted by a company in the public sector, such as when tendering for government contracts, or when remitting foreign exchange through the banks, among others.
Company TCCs are issued by the FIRS; while individual TCCs are issued by the relevant State Board of Internal Revenue (SBIR).

The primary purpose of the TCC is to serve as evidence of compliance with tax obligations, ensuring adherence to the stipulations outlined in Section 85 (2) of the Personal Income Tax Act, Cap P8, LFN 2004 (as amended).

In January 2023, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) said that taxpayers can get their Tax Clearance Certificate in a single click via its flagship Taxpro Maxsolution.

This is a really naive take from you
You really think those who profit from the ARV business will readily support him?
I have a vast knowledge of what life and the universe are all about, so, cut the "naive" reference you made in you post out.

I've known for many years about the extent to which some governments and big corporations can go to protect their own self-interests and that of their shareholders... Big Pharma included. If you read the book entitled, "Rogue State," then you'll gain deeper insights into some of these facts from the government level.

We know based on credible research findings that most of the active ingredients in the drugs we take are still very potent years after the expiry dates, but billions of USD worth of drugs are discarded from hospitals and elsewhere annually in the U.S. so that more drugs purchases running into billions of USD can be made and because the Big Pharmas and the FDA have a rule for discarding drugs that have expiry dates.

What I was simply telling the gentleman I responded to on this thread is that if the Nigerian, Dr. Abalaka is very certain about his Triple Cure Vaccine (which is just simply based on taking blood samples from an infected patient and the blood samples are returned via blood transfusions), then the world would have NO choice but to align with him.

Abalaka too stated in several articles that I've read that he NEVER said he can cure AIDS but that his treatment prevents and reduces the viral loads of an infected patient. More clinical trials with lab mice and more have to take place so that they are fully fit for humans, but the man himself admitted that he is being careful to release his FORMULA so that it doesn't get stolen by a pharmaceutical company.

=>https://guardian.ng/news/fresh-controversy-over-abalakas-hiv-cure-claims/

My point is that in several global industries and niche business sectors, we have business cycles and product cycles. YOU either innovative or die! Many Western companies have liquidated and made way for more savvy innovations and inventions from even non-Westerners. NO force can stop Abalaka if he truly has a cheaper solution for managing these triple viral diseases using his blood transfusion vaccine. Period.

Awesome? ... same way the splitting of the atom was hailed as awesome. ... thinking of all the good that can come out of it. The man who did it later regretted ... his technology was used to make the A Bomb ... which was used to kill millions. CRISPR has already been used for worse ... it is the technology behind the COVID-19 mRNA shots that manipulate the immune system... triggering widespread auto immune/blood problems and deaths. Basically... the technology can be used to progamme how your body works/ to hack the body the same as one programme a virus to hack a computer.

Two minute research... how the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine works .... and they tell you.... it instructs the body to make a spike protein like the virus. .... that's the CRISPR technology programming your body on what to make. Soon with transgender .... men will be growing breasts on request.

There is nothing new under the sun .... if you are genetically modified... are you a "pure" human? According to the Bible ... why was the world flooded?... and who were considered "pure"?
@Originalsly,

I get where you're coming from.

We live in a world of DUALITY and energy vibrations. Many things we have on the face of this planet can be used for GOOD or for BAD.

We live in a world of hot and cold, males and females, light and darkness, etc. A laser beam or a hand gun can be used for good and bad, likewise a knife, rake, hoe, axe, etc. Even WATER can have positive and negative effects on humans. Too much or too little of everything is bad.

So, it's hoped that this CRISPR Gene-Editing technology would be used for more good than bad and for the benefit of mankind.

In any event, I've always maintained in convos that we live in a world of cycles... And economic cycles leading to recessions in many countries will continue from time to time. Only those who are prepared or have learned punishing lessons from past economic downturns or are savvy investors would smile until the economies rebound.

If 60 Murder detectives in London are to lose their jobs and police stations are being sold off in London to save costs then there is serious fire on the mountain and any immigrant who thinks their job is secure is on a long thing.

In the UK many years ago getting a civil service job or NHS job was seen as a job for life and it was unimaginable that police officers will be fired or police stations sold to save costs but this is happening in London of 2024 and that tells me that the UK Government is hiding the extent of the belatedly announced recession (which might actually be a depression in my opinion).
Succinctly stated.

The Russian-Ukraine War, the monthly U.S. interest rate increases by the FED starting from March 2023, and Brexit are some of the unintended consequences of this so-called recession which in any event leans towards a depression. In any event, the world will have to live with cyclical economic recessions or depressions because of the increased economic interconnectivity among countries.

America too is headed for a recession with hyperinflation in full swing, and only those who have a keen sense of economic history and are investment-savvy will benefit from the changing world order.

Many Nigerians have really abused the care worker scheme in the UK. Some are charging up to £10k to sponsor their fellow Nigerians and then they don’t have work for them or give them 10 hours a week, meanwhile the poor person is unable to legally work for another organization because they are tied by work permit.

And they have sold property, borrowed money etc. to fund this. By the time they pay £10k for certificate of sponsorship, pay for visa fees and NHS fees they are probably spending over £20k to end up with a shitty job with shitty wages or worse not even enough hours to pay basic bills.

On top of all that the pay for care workers is rubbish especially when you consider the work involved.

I know many Nigerians who went to UK on student visa for masters, MBA etc. who can only get care work after graduation because most companies are not willing to sponsor for work visa and there is a shortage of care workers.
It's just crazy! Due diligence is so far away from the thinking of a lot of folks. All that money spent to come over to the UK could have been better spent on other ventures with good ROI.
