Conceptman:If you live in the Uk, operate a church or charity organisation but you live large, drive expensive range of vehicles with that exotic Lamborghini with customised player number advertising your title (PASTOR= PA570RR) then you are asking for trouble and really reckless and stupid. Even the Archbishop of Canterbury wouldn’t do such. The British public would descend on him if he tried that, how much more this pastor Tobi. Ashimolowo of KICC faced investigations of similar incident in the past, lots of Pentecostal pastors have been under investigation over the way they operate their churches of charities. Pastor Tobi is no different and he should’ve learnt from the past and focus seriously on his calling if he truly was CALLED. |
APOPTOSIS:All these silly and unnecessary ‘I too know’ and comments from Nairaland ballistics experts wouldn’t have mattered if she had been shot dead. People have died from shots from crude and locally made guns. Does it really matter if she termed the artifacts from the radiograph bullets, pellets, shrapnel or metal fragments?? This is a woman that has been traumatised by her experience and idiots are here arguing and trying to correct her language. |
Rilley:Shame on all you. That woman would’ve been dead...pellets or bullets. |
jabor4Naija:Those are pellets from a shotgun. Yes she can call them bullets. It doesn’t really make much difference. Whoever did that meant to kill her and it’s a shame that people above were mocking and calling this staged act. Do you have any idea what any of those pellets could do to her if they pierced the skull and hit the brain?? So all of you need to grow up. I’m not a fan of this woman, don’t know much about her but if those were real radiograph of her, she would’ve been the luckiest person this period of the year. Whoever was responsible for that meant to shatter her skull. |
sapele914:Oga, that man shouldn’t be among the best or top 100 individuals to occupy that seat in my opinion. He shouldn’t even be within 500m radius of that seat. It’s an insult to suggest that ‘he is the best that we have’. Respect to him but that position is too complex, too hot and way beyond his qualifications. If he merits that seat, he should demonstrate it. So far, he has only succeeded in exposing himself. His incompetences stares us in the face. The position isn’t one you can easily cover up. The man and his position as the CJN is an aberration. I’m sorry that you can’t see the errors. |
Achuwa1:Nigeria is not circular bro......maybe you wanted to type secular? |
Shibaraba:I concur. It was clearly staged. Same ink, similar writing style, similar type of comments and finally take a look at the signature of the principal and that of the house master/mistress....looks very similar with an H or tt at the end...

The kind of orgasm that produced Nnamdi Kanu and Fela Anikulapo Kuti...People in Sokoto would’ve heard both women screaming from Isiama Afara and Abeokuta. |
truthfulparrot:Lauretta Onochie need to read this. That woman is abusing her talent and education. She need to reflect and work on herself. One day, all these glamour and protections would depart from her. Those that gave her fake canines to attack other people would take the fangs back, she would be kicked out in the harsh weather, denied and abandoned. That applies to all those used by monsters to tidy their stained images. They will all be dumped like the thrash that they all are when their assignments are complete. Onochie like Adesina employs the online space to launder the images of her evil employers who exploit her. She told us that every lie has expiry date while denying that DSS invaded the court to arrest Sowore! It didn’t take up to 24 hours for her fake friends and employers to rubbish her story. Her day of reckoning is coming if she doesn’t change. |
obidark:Keep blaming Igbos while Nigeria decays. People like you have so internalise the ills and abnormalities in Nigeria. I wonder how you see cows in the middle of the road as normal! Are you ok at all. Can’t you see that those cows are serious risks to themselves and anyone using that road?? How do people like you reason? |
Commentor:Okorocha is next. They’ll lure him and let him spend the money he stole before rejecting and hailing his crooked arze in the prison. He is a very greedy man. |
Blingblings:Really? Wait until Dele and his broda Folarin get you at a dark corner...they might sell your head for N10k or under. |
Officialgarri:I don’t know why people like you defend evil. Lauretta Onochie need to reflect and look at herself in the mirror. This woman would one day wake up to realise how silly she has been...guess what? She would blame the devils she has been working with and like the rest of the fools before her, that’s when she’s realise that she’s been used and discarded. Her public nuisance sure has expiry date. |
I thought Lauretta Onochie said that it was staged by Sowore and his supporters? Onochie is a disgusting and an evil person. |
bayulll011:He might turn out a different fighter with a different tactics in Fury and Wilder fights if they happen. I have no doubt about Aj’s talent and abilities. Note that what I wrote was my observations and sentiments. Anthony Joshua took gold in the Olympics...that’s huge. You gotta have skills to outpoint your opponent’s in the brutish amateur boxing where you’d face the best from Cuba, Us and the Eastern Europe. Since the Kevin Johnson’s fight, all the guys he fought after that had either zero loss record or very highly rated. He gave them their first losses with TKOs...he fought Dillian Whyte, Takam, Parker, Klitschko etc and beat them convincingly. If anyone could beat him, I never could predict it would be John Ruiz jnr however talented he might be. I still think Anthony Joshua would beat him again and again if they fight again. I’m only concerned that mentally and psychologically, with all the fame, huge bank accounts and other endorsements, the passion for boxing might have somehow departed or somehow appear to be slipping away. If he comes into any fight with the mentality that propelled him to victory against Klischko, Whyte, Parker, Povetkin, he would rattle and maybe best Wilder and Fury in my opinion, however if he fights like he has done in the last two fights, someone like Fury would out jab and frustrate him. Wilder would spot the weakness in his tactics. It’ll take one lucky swing or a measured delivery of his Bronze hammer to put Aj on the canvas. I hope that doesn’t happen. |
I like Anthony Joshua mainly because he doesn’t thrash talk like others. He doesn’t disrespect his opponents and yes, he is humble but there’s a difference between humility and self belief in getting the job done. He seem sometimes to be lacking in self confidence and belief in executing the job. In his early days, he was a bit cocky. He was arrogant against the likes of Dillan Whyte etc. He trusted his strength, physique and skills but lately, those seemed to have left him. He appeared cagey and unsettled sometimes when Ruiz followed him. He fought like someone who was scared of confronting the opponent, most times he used his reach and jabs mainly to keep Ruiz away, like he wasn’t sure whether to punch and use the hook when the opportunity presented itself. At the end of the fight when Ruiz asked for a third fight, Aj kept praising Ruiz, calling him a warrior. Deontay or Fury would say something like “I would beat you 100 times mate” kind of answer. When Eddie Hearn called Joshua the king of the division and the top dog, Joshua wasn’t even sure of himself. He kept trying to evade that. I see a man who isn’t sure of his ability and who maybe lacking in confidence. I like Ruiz’s boldness. He fought like a pit bull terrier but a fight between him and Fury or Deontay would be like one between a lion and a chihuahua. Those two would expose his weaknesses. Anthony Joshua didn’t take advantage of all the ammo in his arsenal. He fought like someone whose weapon would jam at anytime. |
Nuzo1:That was shocking. I couldn’t believe that she said that. I had to listen again to make sure that I heard her correctly. That was beyond shocking. I’m surprised you are the only one here who listened, observed and pointed that out. I like her boldness but that was not very intelligent. Aisha Buhari and Dolapo Osibanjo support and endorse malpractice and injustice. How can these two women say that they are indebted to the ’masses’ who fought and prevented other political parties and supporters from exercising their rights? That wasn’t fair play. |
She’s fat and seriously need the gym. |
PDJT:Education isn’t all about cramming and filling your brain with endless theories. Ravensbourne is actually a very good school. It’s no far from O2 Arena and it has very good staff and highly skilled individuals in the digital media and design industry teaching and training their students. I know a few people who graduated from there and doing well in their respective businesses. If you are artistic and creative, the university will broaden your horizon and help bring out your best. They are well equipped and you’ll benefit from one to one support from the staff. Ravensbourne is a good University and not one of those mushroom schools run by Indians to make money from desperate students from overseas. |
AwkaetitiBabe:Phew...Thank God. |
AwkaetitiBabe:Do you eat snakes? Would you eat the snake in the photo? |
tonye33:It’s hard for me to imagine anyone cutting that up, cooking it and shoving it inside his mouth. |
tbaba1234:He messed up on the first goal but you and other posters are not being fair on him. Enyimba was awful in the match. They failed to register shots on their opponent’s goal. Afelokhai was the reason Enyimba didn’t concede up to 6 goals. Did you not see his point blank saves? |
Dedetwo:Yes, he is a legend and from a legendary family. Mother was an activist campaigning against the colonial government. Father was a clergy, a school principal and the first president of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Ransome Kuti was a minister of health. Beko, his brother also a medical doctor played mighty roles campaigning against oppressions from the military governments. He was a human right champion. Wole Soyinka is Fela’s first cousin. Fela was sent to England to study medicine. He could easily had become one but he chose a different path. I mentioned the school of music to argue that he actually went through a proper pathway to become one. He studied music, wrote music, composed it, played instruments. He could teach music, he knew when someone sang out of tune, he could be a voice coach...something most musicians couldn’t do. He shared lots of attributes with Dr Laz Ekwueme. Fela could easily had become a music professor at Unilag or Unibadan. Fela is a legend. The world celebrate him. |
andrewbaba44:Good day for Iheanacho. Welldone him. Everyone is hugging and congratulating him. He deserve it. |
Thread title says :Innocent shooting of civilians. Innocent civilians shooting, Shooting of innocent civilians. I’m confused this afternoon...where is grammarnazi? |
homesteady:It wasn’t funny. |
Patrioticman007:You have a problem, serious one and you need help. What has Igbo got to do with this thread or the one you quoted? You are the first to introduce tribalism and hate into this thread. |
gregyboy:I know that. Btw, the name mentioned was Edosonwan not Esosonwan. |
bigtt76:I think he is a very talented young man. He is very creative and is part of a group of young professionals who design and fabricate other machines. This boy was at the University of Leicester I think or some university in the Uk under sponsorship years ago. I think he struggled with some core modules, lost interest and dropped out but before that, he was part of the team of undergraduates that competed in some auto design competition. His team won that competition. He has passion for designs, I watched a programme about him. I think he is amazing but he needs to improve on his machines as they could pose serious health risks to users of those products. One of his designs was a maize processing machine. I watched in horror as the operator was forcing the maize cobs into the machine with his hands, he could easily harm himself in the process. The boy is a gem. I think he needs to work with some bigger companies or research groups. |
Sanchez01:Thanks for your beautiful input. I have actually watched a programme on Tv of some guys who make livings by diving at incredible sea depths scooping sands with buckets and selling them to builders. I can’t remember what ethnicity they were. It was a dangerous practice and it was reported that fatalities have been recorded. These guys sure have adapted to their environment and way of living but I don’t really believe that ‘throwing’ or even dipping a newborn in the river would determine a ‘freeborn’ or bastard as you called it. That is not possible sir. It’s dangerous and a serious red flag for safeguarding issues. I think Ijaws and other riverline people should tap into their bond and adaptability with marine life and bring international success to themselves. Maybe they need to move beyond their comfort zones. |
ijawgirl:How come Ijaws have not been winning gold medals even in All African games. You wrote that it’s part of your custom to ‘throw’ the baby inside the river!!!...and if it floats, it shows that the baby would be a good swimmer. What happens when the baby fail to float or drown? If you guys practice that, I think there should be a massive campaign to protest such cruelty and abuse to children. If ijaws have failed to develop better lung capacity or even gills to adapt to your marine environment and triumph in international swimming competitions, then your post isn’t worth it. Kenyans and Ethiopians are natural born long distance runners, Cubans have a tradition of boxing, Chinese practice karate and they have all made names for themselves in those areas...how can you be praising Ijaw man and his bond with water even before he could blink but nothing has come out of. I doubt if the Ijaws are better swimmers than Urhobo, kalabari and other riverline tribes. |
