Politics › Re: Junaid Mohammed: Igbo Political Leaders Haven’t Learnt Any Lesson From Civil War by KosiGee(m): 2:20pm On Jan 27, 2020
The problem isn’t Junaid Mohammed. The problems are the op, Nairaland, the mods and Seun himself who collectively are biased and aggressively pushing ethnic ethnic sentiments down the throats of Nairaland readers.

This is an interview in which Junaid Mohammed characteristically mentioned the Igbos amongst so many other paranoia that plague him.

Amotekun was mentioned so were Gov Fayemi, Supreme Court rulings on Imo, Atiku Abubakar but in all these, it was Igbos and civil war that caught the attention of the op, the mods and mr Seun.

People should how to react to trolls and learn to avoid and distract themselves from being consumed or contributing to public nuisances.

There is a super cop called Abba Kyari who has been celebrated in the media, tracked and solved high profile cases involving kidnappers and robbers, pictured with the criminals he caught.

Are these cases beyond him? Why hasn’t this man cracked this perennial banditry and threats on our roads. Why hasn’t he solved or caught any of the bandits causing troubles in the north?

SecretSpy666:
I registered on this platform to tell my story and encourage other Nigerian youths who may have humble background like me, not to give up.

I did one of the craziest wedding in human history. I can’t stop laughing now as God has changed our story

COST OF THE WEDDING IN DETAIL:
Statutory marriage (court wedding) – took place in December, 2015

The court wedding was contracted at the marriage registry of Kano State, opposite Emir Sanusi’s palace, Kano municipal. Here are what I spent:
1) Wedding Certificate fee N8,000
2) Wedding ring N1,500
3) Clothes for the wedding for both of us (including sewing) N13, 600
4) Two crates of multina N5000
5) One carton of Digestive biscuit N600
6) Transport for both of us (kake napep) N200 (to and fro)

Total: N 28,900

No reception

Few invitees and no much celebrations

TRADITIONAL WEDDING:
I spent about 35,000 including clothes.

HOW IT STARTED

I was posted to Kano for my NYSC in 2014 August, Batch B. I fell in love with this beautiful lady and we had similar historical background. Before I completed my NYSC, I got admission to Bayero University for my master degree programme (march, 2015). I didn’t have what it takes for marriage and there was no help from anywhere. I really wanted to dump her and focus on my study but she never let me go.

She told me she want to go for master too, we hurriedly applied for her during the late application period, she was lucky she got admission to study community health. She took me to her parents who are based in Kaduna but are from Okrika in River state. Her parents are educated and gave me good advice and encourage us to get serious with our studies. The father told me to pay N5,000 as bride price and I spent about 30,000 for a very quiet traditional wedding.

In Kano, we live in a single room (self contain) opposite Bayero University gate, going to school together. I started a part time teaching with Al-Furkaan Science Academy with 18,000 salary and also work it for her to be teaching there too for 15,000 salary. The school management did not know that we are couple. Some teachers there were even trying to talk to her….
After our coursework, as if God was waiting for us to complete the coursework, boom!!! I was called by an agro allied company based in kano for interview. I applied online for the job. I got the job and we were both happy!!!

Three months later, my wife got a job with an NGO working in communities in Kano and Jigawa. Not long after, we moved to a two bedroom flat and got a car. We had a baby boy now and building a house in Otukpo, Benue state.

THIS IS MY TESTIMONY……
Start little and God we increase it…
I was so ashamed then and the people laughing at us them are now coming to begg us for money and support.

Now my wife is saying we should do a flamboyant, expensive, and gorgeous church wedding and invite all the people we invited during the low-key court and traditional marriage...and invite all friends, foes and all the people laughing at us at that time....
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
You spent less than N30k on your wedding but instead of posting photos of the N13k clothes you and your wifey wore on that day, you uploaded photos of other people from the internet!

Are you being serious? You are encouraging and attempting to motivate other potential couples yet you have to steal wedding photos of foreigners to tell your story.

I feel like calling you fraud.
Sports › Re: Asisat Oshoala Scores 4 Goals In El Classico. by KosiGee(m): 9:58pm On Jan 11, 2020
@naptu, I don’t want to keep quoting you as I don’t want litter the space with unnecessary photos.

I have been following female football even before Oshoala started playing football. I’m not a novice to the challenges facing them. I grew up in Enugu and I watched the likes of Oparanozie and Ohale before they became popular.

I never elevated any of Oshoala’s mates above her. I only queried those who were insulting the voting pattern of the Nigerian contingent. I wasn’t happy seeing the way they voted but they had their reasons. Oshoala has won which is good but I want to remind you that I still believe and maintain that she need to raise her game with the Falcons...yes they faced challenges with the NFF, personality clashes within the team, change of tactics and attempts to adapt to a new playing philosophy initiated by former coach Dennerby...lots of issues..

Oga Naptu, Oshoala in recent times, runs like former Tijani Babangida at the twilight of his career.

She runs faster than the ball, runs into opponents like a blind person, sometimes showed lack of spatial awareness, tried so many times to take on defenders when a simple pass would suffice, shoot terribly amongst others.

Oshoala is a good player but hasn’t been with the Falcons in recent years...simple. Pinnick, NFF, coaches have their blames but your darling Oshoala need to be a Super Zee not just with Barca ladies but with the Falcons. We like seeing her bang in 2,3,4 goals with the Catalan women, we her fans also want to see her score like that against Bayana bayana, Ghana and Cameroon.

Asisat Oshoala is one of only two African women to score in two World Cup competitions. Here's her goal against Sweden in 2015.

Goals by Asisat Oshoala, Francisca Ordega and Ngozi Okobi give Nigeria a 3-3 draw against Sweden.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mefYtjq5drM
Once you are obsessed with someone, the person can never do wrong. I have followed her since her days with the likes of Glory Iroka both for club and country...I thought Iroka was going to be the best Nigerian female midfielder...reminds of Iniesta with her passes...

Look for Falcon’s matches between 2017-2019, watch them and pay attention to Oshoala....she might be a super Zee for clubs but she’s a horror to watch playing for Nigeria within the last two years.

Watch her against South Africa, Ghana, Cameroon and even against Equatorial Guinea.

She’s not the only but the entire team. If I was to vote based on individual performance with the national team, Oshoala would be lucky to get a vote. Yes she was that horrible except you are not being honest.

Go back and watch the matches if you have time not some clips that make her look good.

All the awards that you ignored, including being highest goal scorer or best player at two nations cup tournaments speak for themselves (and that's only a tip of the ice berg. I've not included her performance at qualifiers between 2014 and 2016). The problem is people that only started following the Falcons in 2018 and do not know what happened before then.
Oga Naptu, lots of respect to you on your contributions both on sports and music. You are an encyclopaedia no doubt but you’ve been very patronising of mediocrity.

I’ve been following football longer than you can ever imagine.

I’m the last 2-3 years, Oshoala and the rest of the girls have been horrible in the green and white shirts.

For a team that battled the all mighty USA women and lost with just 1 goal with a red card to Nnodin and also played well against Dennerby’s girls in 2015, you’d expect better performances and improvements on the current squad.
Oshoala’s laurels were over 4 years now. We can’t be dwelling on past glories. Criticising her isn’t born out of hatred. Throwing up photos of her holding best player awards or golden boots of 2015 won’t hide her poor performances with the Falcons.

She is blessed with pace and energy but those haven’t been of benefit for Nigeria in recent times. She is good but need to improve her game.

If Oshoala has been amazing as you said, Falcons wouldn’t have struggled against the likes of South Africa, Ghana and Cameroon during the World Cup and Olympics games qualifiers.
She has been a shadow of herself playing for Nigeria and that’s putting it mildly.

The likes of Okobi Ngozi, Francesca Ordega and Oshoala have been abysmal and horrible playing for Nigeria in the last two years. These three has done well for Nigeria no doubt but truth be told, Oshoala especially has played very very badly. Most times, you’d see her running aimlessly or shooting like someone who hasn’t played the ball before, Ordega would finish a match, jump into social media to exchange bad languages with trolls and fans who criticised either her fashion or bad performance.

Playing for Barcelona women has lifted Oshoala game but I still maintain as a fan or hers and Falcons that she hasn’t really been playing well for Nigeria. I think it’s been a combination of hard luck and bad choices in the field. She gets selfish when she was supposed to pass to a better placed player or she fails to convert sn obvious chance.

She was great in the under 20, she scored for Nigeria in the last World Cup but over all, she hasn’t been great with the Falcon. The good thing is that many of her fans have poor memory.

Stop being mischievous. You should query the Nigerian reps and the reasons for their voting pattern not to single any particular individual or group of people out.

Oshoala has been amazing for club but same can’t be said of country. Have you watched her playing for Falcons?

I would vote for her without hesitation if I was there, she won the award and people shouldn’t be making a mountain out of a mole hill because of the votes she received from the Nigerian contingent.

Why is Israel in possession of nuclear weapons while the USA don't want the Iran to have it
Remember that the way Israel is hated in the middle East is the way Iran is extremely hated in the middle East too because of shiite
If you call Iran terrorists remember, Israel is also killing Palestinians every week
Please don't tell me Israel is a Christian nation because there are more Muslims in Israel than christians while Palestinians also have Christians

So,if you are answering my questions, please be intelligent
Nuclear weapons are not toys and gadgets to be played with or found in the possession of fools.

Iran lacks the mental capacity to harbour and possess nuclear capabilities.

It had just demonstrated their incompetence and justified reasons and suspicions why the whole world should fight against their nuclear weapon ambitions.

Iran should allow independent investigation of the catastrophe that they caused few days ago.

Ghadafi’s Libya paid a huge price over its involvement in the Lockerbie bombing interns of years of sanctions and eventual payments to families involved in their terrorist madness.

Somebody got to pay for this. Iran and it’s Mullas should be squeezed so tight. They are accident waiting to happen.
