Christianity Etc › Re: The Insanity Of A Radical Muslim(everybody Should See These) by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 10:27am On Feb 08, 2010
It truly angers me to the point of committing genocide when Radical muslims crowds will decide that their religion cannot be criticized, questioned or insulted when they can do the exact opposite to other religions simply because they believe they are the one true religion (even though it is such a young religion) that every nation must bow down too. They viciously and wickedly attack people of other religions after claiming that they are a religion of PEACE (Bull-Crap)

The true reason why Islam has survived this long despite all the violent, un-democratic, authoritarian, dogmatic trends that are typical of the Muslim religion is simply because they imbibe, violence and intimidation, fear, illiteracy and poverty to instill a vice-like grip (brain-washing) on the practitioners minds. to the point that they will kill children, women and innocents in the name of Allah and remorselessly claim their right to ascend to heaven and receive bounties for all their victories against the infidels (people who have lost their right to be humans in the eyes of God and are now become like rabid dogs that need to be killed if they cannot be converted

I swear, i should not be allowed near a nuclear bomb or some class of people will simply find themselves nuked.  angry
Who cares?
We all know Nigerian Pastors now use private Jets up and down.
I can bet my soul that when Jesus Christ lands his 2nd Coming, Pastors will be the first he'll put to the sword before demons. What exactly in the life of Christ exemplified, have modern-day preachers taught their congregation. Like Fela (of ever-green memory) Suffer Suffer for World (Enjoy for Heaven) These Bastards who claim the Title "Man of God" are simply end-time False Prophets who would rather chow-down the carnal virtues and vices of this world rather than save in Heaven's store where no rot or worm will visit. They prefer to store up riches here on earth claiming Bible promises rather than admitting the fact that they are just bleeding their dim congregation of their monies.

Besides tithes (Ceremonial and Prophetic importance) why would you ask your flock to make sacrifices that put the livelihood of their family at risk, using the widows mite as an example, Gawd! these Bastards have turned the Bible inside out to leverage on every line they can twist to their evil ends

May you all perish by the double-edged sword of Jesus Christ and burn in the eternal lake of Hell-fire suffering infinite pain and damnation.

It is unfortunate that Christians and Muslims are of the same ilk. focusing on Religion (Dogma and Ceremonies rather than of Faith (Belief and Practice).

No mind me. i was just being sarcastic.  wink I wonder what Festus Onigbinde and James Peters have to offer to Nigerian Football what value can they raise their finger to. we have their likes constantly being recycled but never dumped. same thing with our dear country Nigeria.

Naija,  grin we are an optimistic lot aren't we ,

So let me see, you get a foreign coach with how many months to the World Cup and expect him to turn Yakubu Ayegbeni into a goa-scorign machine or convert Shittu into a Striker and Mikel into an attacking Mid-fielder. No doubt a foreign coach will bring fresher ideas due to his experience in more technical leagues, but he cannot change chickens into eagles. yes he may make them a tad bit braver, but that is as far as it goes. There is too little time to bring about the World-Cup beating team we are dreaming of

IMHO
Christianity Etc › Re: Please I Want To Know The Relevance Of Virgin Mary In Christendom by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 9:28pm On Feb 05, 2010
@poster incidentally we (I mean "Christians"wink value the messenger rather than the message. so every one who can be loosely associated with divinity or God or Jesus can rightly have relevance in the heavenly scheme of things. So there you have it, she was fortunate to be Chosen by God to bear his Son (soon to be savior of the known Universe) and she did have children after that, lucky for us the known civilized world was pre-occupied with Jesus. I dread what the world would be today with several saviors from Mother Mary. So it is, she sits on a throne by herself as the Queen of heaven and God as King (Joseph must be turning in his wooded grave) and of course Jesus as Prince of Peace in a world that he prophesied would at the turn of this century be catapulted into Chaos and damnation not unlike the scenarios of Hell and Hades of ancient lore.

She is very relevant for the a particularly sharp=sharp ethnic minority in Nigeria famed for their lack of scruples and constant need to by-pass the norm to 419 their way to success grin She can conveniently open the back doors for a fee if St.Peter does not let you through grin

In my life - God has been good to me because i have put him first especially in the area of my finances and i understand that everything i have belongs to God.  I have been prospering even though their is a recession in the U.K

Please understand - God love towards us is unconditional irrespective whether you acknowledge him as your provider or not - But one thing is for sure recognising you are a steward provokes the heavenly system on your behalf. which one would you prefer the failed financial system of this world or God's guaranteed system
If only we could have 5% of Christians just like you, the impact would be 7-fold, rather than the blind, delusional and rightly deceive lambs-to-the-slaughter we have today. Good point made wink

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Pastor Adeboye Must Win A Nobel. by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 8:38pm On Feb 05, 2010
We can rightly make mockery of Daddy GO (what a memorable brand it has become) and his ilk; I am sure they think nothing of it. I cannot tell you how it amazes me that we hold intelligent, insight-revealing discussions about the absurdity of modern Christianity/Islamity grin and how far sunk to the depths it has dragged and degraded society (ancient and modern) world-wide, .yet we are getting literally millions of converts from both sides further deepening this self-retarding sense of righteousness and hypocrisy that the poor masses have willingly (but blindly) rooted themselves into.

150-freakin million Nigerians who undoubtedly lay claim to the world's 3rd largest nation of Christians, 6th largest Muslim population in the entire world. and yet we have clearly witness the hypocrisy of religion in our everyday lives, as also we have seen the cavernous deception that our Religious leaders and vile and utterly sinful politicians have regularly fed to us, yet, still yet all we do is talk or better yet. seek God's face from under the thick, acrid smoke of self-delusion, ignorance and utter helplessness.

We can do better haba, haba! if we still believe in prayer (I doubt God believes in it anymore -in Nigeria's case i.e) we should pray for the death and destruction of all political & religious leaders Muslim and Christian in Africa for creating and sustaining an environment where we always turn the other cheek or worse, maim and kill and amputate in the name of some god who has obviously left the scene.

Sorry for my rants, i need to go back to sleep grin

i cannot believe the sheer depth of absurdity that politicians genuinely manufacture as reason and logic every waking day. it is jarringly profound and astronomically stupid. to realize that this is the sort of society that we have found ourselves in is akin to living in Satan's hell each waking moment because you cannot do anything about it except go to church or mosque and pray, Simply fascinating.  grin

Computers › Please Advise - Reliable Internet Provider For Home Use by lagerwhenindoubt(op): 12:10pm On Feb 05, 2010
I know this kind of request has littered NLSpace since 2005 but all i see people saying their option is the best and they can vouch for them. on the basis of this i have tried out and recommended several ISPs suggested on Nairaland with regrettable results.

Here are the ones I recommended for use Corporate and Home use with regrettable consequences

1: Accelon (Corporate) - Poor link speeds, false claims to available bandwidth/speeds and upgrade- scam (you upgrade and very little happens)
2: 21st Century (Corporate) - Inconsistent performance, quality slowly degrades over time and they blame the client for viruses or p2p programs (thereby putting your job at risk and making you look incompetent)
3: Hyperia (Corporate) - Inconsistent performance, quality slowly degrades over time and they blame the client for viruses or p2p programs (thereby putting your job at risk and making you look incompetent)
4: Linkserve (Home) - Poor link speeds, false claims to available bandwidth/speeds and upgrade- scam (you upgrade and very little happens)
5: Emperiom- Inconsistent performance, quality slowly degrades over time and they blame the client for viruses or p2p programs (thereby putting your job at risk and making you look incompetent)
6: Netcom VSAT (Corporate) - Expensive for the quality they give you and poor technical support/poor customer service and the performance slowly degrades as they ask you to upgrade to get better performance (not that you have more computers than when you started)
7: MTN (home) just too horrible to even consider (128/128 or 256/256) is all a big fat lie. NCC should look into ISPs that lie about what they can deliver
8: COBRANET (home) the Navini option used to be manageable, then they came with the UGO modems, now quality is all flushing down the toilet.

Please people, give me a recommendation because my competence is being called to question simply because ISPs lie about what they can deliver.

Please suggest internet provide for home use or else One Big Oga will recommend my Sack grin
Sports › Re: Give Three Reasons Why Amodu Should Remain Or Be Sacked by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 7:07pm On Feb 04, 2010
I was a keen hater of Amodu Shaibu (I so hate his looks, tactics and reason) up until the last game with Algeria, and after all is said and done.

He has consistently dumb-founded even the most avid follower of attacking/productive football with his win every-which way but just win strategy (just too consistent to be called luck)

With a competition that had the likes of Cameroon, CIV, Mali, Zambia and Algeria (Favorites to reach the semis) falling out despite their incredible performance. I'd say Amodu has risen to the top in spite of the odds, Why he should remain.? He has succeeded with;

1: A team that boasts of the most bench-warmers in the international circuit.
2: A team that struggled with form, injuries and insufficient (sometimes inappropriate) use of incisive attacking/defensive options
3: He has not lost (yet)

All the reasons advanced by Amodu haters (like me) are purely based on our loss of passion for the SE (with reason) and our frustration over our consistent failure to reclaim our birth-right  grin in African Soccer. (After all a nation of 150 million soccer-loving Nigerians should have a harvest of talent to source from)

@poster, at least it is just one month, the B.Astards! owe me 3 months at 15k per month on EVDO modem.

Awolowo Road Office in Ikoyi, there is this IT guy who acts as if he knows everything to do with computing and he obviously is unaware that all he is doing is following rudimentary trouble-shooting steps that are remotely connected to the problem he is facing. He said it is impossible to install EVDO using VISTA, but i did and used it until i missed a month and my account was disconnected. after paying subscription, the password could not be activated for some reason and that was how the F.oool kept telling me to pay each month so they can login to re-activate the password. unbelievable. in the end i just dropped the device/reciepts with dem.
They tell you to write a letter for a refund to their head office. I did but the bastar.ds did not even think it polite to reply. grin one day as I drive past their mast at Ijora, I swear i will throw a rock at it angry

embarassed I must say this. I hate Amodu, I hate his in-game tactics and over-all strategy, he reeks of amateurism but I am well and truly embarrassed by his consistent Wins on the soccer arena. Since the qualifiers up to the 3rd place match with Algeria. He has made me eat my rancid words (everyone of them) though I am still not convinced, He will make a believer out of me yet. grin The guy is an expert at dumb-founding his haters.

Against arguably better sides like Cameroon, CIV, Algeria, MALI and Zambia, this guyhas clawed his way into the 3rd place, no small feat considering the quality of the teams in CAN2010,

NFF should stick to him as they have said before, "We will swim or sink with Amodu"
Politics › Re: Reuters - Al Qaeda in North Afica Offers To Help Nigerian Muslims by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 12:24pm On Feb 02, 2010
My people, Nigeria is destabilized already, the only reason we seem to be at peace with the craziness around us is that we care very little for our rights and have calmly accepted our position as the accursed citizens of a wicked nation. The Americans do not need to lift a finger to destabilize anything. from Ekiti to Anambra, you will see obvious signs of recurring disunity and instability even among ethnic brethren. We (Nigerians of all Ethnicity) have no common interests to fight for except that out of 150 million people, at least 99% of them are strikingly POOR (IMHO) surely we cannot have more than 1 million Nigerians who earn at least N200k per month (after-tax) or have a rented house talk less one they own.

We are just ripe for any dubious elements the likes of Al-Queda to use for their aims. after all over 140 Muslims and Christians have not prevented religious crisis nor nurtured good governance over the past 40 years. at least a natural disaster can be explained, we create our own disasters ourselves and look to God or Allah to save us (someday). can you imagine how much a gun-runner stands to make should Nigeria go into an internal armed conflict? $$$ millions. We are just ripe for the picking cool

Please is there anyone out there to assit me with my project,I was told to build a bank database and its really confusing me.I have so many entities, so I am not sure if my E-R diagram is correct, is there anyone out there who is got a knowledge of this, Please help me out
From your post, I get the feeling that it is actually a school project. it is vague especially when you did not give us some idea as to what Design requirements and specifications you are to work with.

There is also the E-R diagram that you have implied you have difficulties figuring out. can you ALT-PRNT Screen and upload or can you send the Schema in an xml file?

There is also the title "Bank Database",  is it a database of Banks in Nigeria!? huh or a data-warehouse to aggregate specific Bank activities and numbers for the purpose of BI. what are your goals for the project.? You have given us very little to work with here, hence my feeling that it is actually an academic.

Please clarify what you want to achieve exactly, does not matter if you get free or paid assistance, you can get tips/help/professional advice with your project. if it warrants actual work then you may have to negotiate with whom-ever you choose to work with on a fee  grin

grin grin grin One of the reasons I love Christianity, you can blame the devil for all your sins and get forgiveness from God. If it rains enough for a good harvest, "God is ever-faithful to his loyal disciples" . if it rains too much to cause a flood and ruin the harvest, the "Devil is on the prowl". If we work hard at getting a Job and succeed, "God rewards us with his kindness" When we lose the Job? "He is preparing us for Greatness", when we cannot find another Job after a long while after much Fasting and Praying "The Devil is delaying my destiny"

they didn't play well, i dnt know if it is because they thought that zambia will be a push over. Clearly this people taught them how to play footie. This guys are very fast with the ball, it was obivious that they(S.E) lacked ideas and they couldn't match them for pace. I thought that zambians will wear out as the match progressed but no it was the opposite. The S.E played with experience, but this is the dullest match i have ever seen the S.E play.
I kept praying that they won't score, because if they had scored, I dnt think the S.E had enough gas to fight for an equaliser.

4-3-3 cannot work with yakubu playing as the arrow head, he can't run, he can't and won't make space for himself and others, instead of using his size to his advantage his size is working against him, he is slow to react, infact he is too heavy to be playing football, rugby or wrestling would have have been a better option when he was considering his career Grin

I dnt know what the S.E. were hoping to achieve by playing like this, Amodu was just moping with not to do that will change the match. this is the first time am seeing amodu with a paper and pen, wetin him wan write abi him dey form mourinho Huh Huh If we win this cup, it is by the efforts of the players not amodu.

Anyway we won and we leave to fight another day,
My sentiments exactly,  we have somehow come up tops without a shred of conviction that the SE is a solid African team capable of playing cohesive and attacking football. but then again, they have been consistently proving me wrong with their unimaginative, dumbfounding formation and change strategy and awe-defeating out-of-form players. we truly are a wonder in African football. I think Zambia deserved a win though what they made up for in cohesive, attacking football, they lacked in clinical finishing, (They had us out at sea 3rice during the second half)
