Nonsense updates. So Kogi state government said that there is no Covid-19 in their territory and so it is.
Even Cross River is not reporting for class and nothing is happening.

My own na Brazil vs Germany 2014 world Cup. The match was so thrilling with Brazilian fans crying openly in the stadium.

Was similar to Baryern Barca match but was very memorable to me

Why do we find it hard to support each other my Naija people. What does it take to click the link, get the info and then back to nairaland.

You will see white people gathered at a show cheering someone that is singing wack not that they so enjoy the music but just to support and encourage him.
If the clicking on his blog will help him grow, then click and support him.
Nairaland is already grown hence we should support other platforms to also grow.

Not just Nigerians, I’m afraid...
The ENTIRE WORLD is due some pain, some more than others though.
>

I’m afraid that Nigeria doesn’t have money to share among its citizens, because Nigeria is actually a POOR country (as much as people do not want to face reality and our rulers behave otherwise). In many of those countries, laid-off workers are only getting benefits from unemployment INSURANCE (which means they made payments from their wages), and in other countries most citizens actually pay their full taxes as and when due, giving the government more revenue to build and sustain a social safety net. Here, everyone is looking share money but no one contributes.
>
I'm not in support of our dilapidated tax system but I tell u, the money we generate from our natural resources can take care of our current and unforseen problems if well managed.

How much is talked about taxation in Saudi Arabia and other oil rich nations. They basically takes care of themselves with proceeds from oil not to talk of other abundant natural resources here.

THE HEADLINE IS A TAD MISLEADING....

Access Bank outsources most of its NON-BANK functions (such as security, cleaners, etc.). Those people are not employed directly by the bank itself, but rather by third-party subcontractors. It is these services that Access Bank intends to rationalize, which would end up presumably disengaging about 75% of such contracted persons. Doubtful that more than a small percentage of actual Access Bank core staff will be disengaged (albeit there are probably several areas of duplication post-merger with Diamond Bank that might be trimmed during this crisis).

Either way, some people are due for pain and an uncertain near-future...
Perhaps all those generous Access Bank Covid donations should have been reserved for these folks. Good luck to all.

He mentioned '' teller staff'' whom are a big percentage of the workforce of banks and are always the first hit whenever banks want to lay-off staff.

Fg is simply foolish..there is nothing with having multiple jobs so far u fulfil your roles...that's how it is done abroad, many people take different jobs
There is nothing wrong in having multiple jobs but in their case, their is something wrong. It's same as doctors in government hospitals operating their own private hospitals. They rarely care much about their government job because it's government job, and many a times normally diverts patients to their private hospitals for property attention and care.
Same applies to these lecturers. They have one or two private universities where they work with utmost seriousness and usually care less about their primary employment. They are always not around in their offices or at lectures because they are out there hustling.

I so much hate and detest this narrative of Lagos Abuja returnee.
All of us in Abuja and Lagos should be all gone if what all these dubious thieves in power implies are true.
So Abuja and Lagos Streets and environs are laced with corona virus that anybody that steps in becomes infected. Criminals in power looking for avenues to loot.

Nonsense!

That’s why you have a government, all the payroll taxes and profit taxes, excise taxes, import and export duties, bribes, money from lobbyists government earned from them is for times like this. Look at what the government is doin in other countries.

You guys should stop demonising private firms all the time, without them we won’t be better than Somalia cos our government is useless
Don't mind him. As if it's easy to run an enterprise. Clubs as big as Barcelona are cutting players wages to as much as 70% and he is here typing balderdash.
A whole Liverpool is enrolling their players to the national scheme and so forth.
I earnestly encourage those that can pay in full or some percent to pay their staff but all in all running a business or private organisation is not easy.

He said if the month of April is treated as leave for all staff. Implying that for the rest of the year, no staff will go on leave again.
It's a nice thought and for organisations that have their staff at heart, its a good suggestion.

70% of the infected persons are returnee from either US or EU countries and you mentioned malaria or Hunger as cause of their ailments.

Why do we joke with everything in Nigeria?
Oga u lie. As at two days ago 25% were returnees from foreign trips. 34% is their close contacts and 41% unknown source of contact.
So it actually came into the country from returnees as is the case with every other countries but ur figure of 70% of the case from returnees is fallacy.
