Why is Keshi always bad-mouthing his best players?
From Osaze, to ideye, now Emenike?

Is he trying to use these players as scape-goats for his own failures and ineptitude?

I tire for this Keshi o!

bukatyne: @lastpage:

Good day

If God wanted polygamy, He would have created Adam and Eve. Adam saw Eve and said.. 'the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh'....

The fact tha David, Jacob etc. married multiple wives and God still loved them does not mean He approved of what they did. These people were not Christians and are not the role model of Christians. David killed, Abraham lied, Jacod cheated etc. should we say that those stuffs are not sins? If we say they were punished, what was the punishment for Abraham's lie? Issac did same years later and there was 'seemingly' no punishment too
Thank you Maam, for your post!

Let me ask the reverse of that question since God did not expressly say HE HATES POLYGAMY: IF God hates Polygamy, why would he call a POLYGAMIST, "The Apple of my eye"... regarding David?

If God hates Polygamy, why would he refer to a Polygamist like Abraham, the father of all nations?
Why would he speak "One-on-One" with a Polygamist like Moses?
If God hates Polygamy, why would he say of a Polygamist like Solomon, "All these things, l would give thee like l will give no other, wisdom, wealth, health and long life"?

My point is: We cannot conclude that God does not sanction polygamy is HE did not criticise it but the fact that HE loved and blessed Polygamist, says something about HIS TOLERANCE/APPROVAL of them, ...at the minimum! Who then are we mere mortals, to think we are more righteous than our creator?

Yes, God punished some of this great men of God, for "other things" they did that was wrong.
For example, David cheated with the wife of another man (that is not Polygamy, it is adultery!) and arraigned the murder of the husband!
That was core evil, in the eyes of God. That was why he was punished, not because of his Polygamist lifestyle.

bukatyne: Samson slept with a w.h.ore before uprooting the gates of Gaza through the strenght of God even though he met his doom later. What punishment did we see for Samson sleeping with her? He was warned as a narazene not to marry a non-Israelite but he did and what was the punishment?

Divorce was very common in the old testament even though it was not the will of God and He said so in the new testament.

God still uses some pastors even with their shortcomings. We have the case of Karthlyn Kulhman a powerful evangelist in the 70s. She married a divorcee (who left his wife because of her) and stayed with him for about 7yrs while she was still preaching and miracles happening till she repented and left him.

There is a perfect will of God known to Christians when they have the Holy Spirit. The Bible doesnot mention Indecency.graphy, pedophil.e or smoking but every believer knows that it is wrong.
The new testament is actually a fulfilment of the Old, as Jesus said -- "I have not come to abolish the Old testament ... but to fulfil it".
Yes, some things were "modified" in the NEW but the overriding principle of the new testament still remains "Do unto others as you will want them to do unto you" --- In other words, "Love thy neighbour as thy self".

There are loads of things that are not "expressly mentioned" in the Bible as well, that are of good use to us today - Even Jesus (as of the new testament) never spread the Good News using Private Jets but today, hardly will you see a "Man of God" without a Jet! shocked shocked

We all read our Bibles on Tablets in Church nowadays but even Jesus had no Tablet! Can we now say doing so is a sin?

There is a "Moral code" ... and there is a "spiritual code" for all Christians.
Both do not conflict but we must agree that the "moral code" was put in place by humans (e.g, incest was practised widely in Biblical times, brothers married sisters )- but morally, we have come to "agree and make laws" to STOP IT ..... spiritually, it was never a sin!

Homosexuality which is now becoming "morally" acceptable, was condemned back then! It was and still remains a spiritual sin till tomorrow!
Ditto polygamy; It is NOT a spiritual sin (something ordered by God) .. but as l highlighted before, The British and the wider "Western World" have adopted it as a "moral wrong-doing"... for reasons adduced earlier viz property sharing and attendant greed.... but l disagree that we say because God created only Eve, he wanted the man to marry just one wife!

Thing is, God (can) only create a FIRST, of every living thing and expects that "PROCREATION ABILITY" (which HE gave them), will multiply them.
Even animals were created that way... how come Bingo my Dog they flex for all the neighbourhood bitches and im never do no wrong!
shocked shocked grin grin

Cheers,

Thus, the "real problem" lies with "The Nature of Women"
(I know they like to shift the blame on the man, he is the one that likes to sleep around with women! but like a Poster observed as well, "If women refuse to be a second wife, as in marry a "married man", the man will have no second wife! Its that simple!!).

Women are by their very nature, Greedy, jealous, selfish and dangerous (Just a little "over the top", ..when it comes to the general "human nature"wink!
All women are generally the same and l am not saying this in a disrespectful way to women. l love and respect 'women' (I am monogamous by my own choice, not for religious reason, nor out of fear of my wife or because l think it is morally wrong! )

*Until women STOP seeing "material things" as the most important things in a marriage, (and God knows they never will! grin ),
*until women STOP seeing the Husband as a PROPERTY (funnily, they themselves used to be seen as Chattel or property, a few centuries back!) Until women START seeing marriage as a "social construct" whose purpose is more than just to please one single woman
*Until women STOP putting selfish GREED above the interest of the Children (yes, the 'wicked' first wife and the 'devilish' second wife are both women!)
*Until Polygamy itself is seen from the very perspective of 'Human Nature', as something innate and natural to 'man' whose is a "hunter and gatherer" in nature and by very essence of creation...

Until then, we would continue to have:

(1) these arguments about Polygamy,

(2) Worsening marriage set-ups in an effort to enforce Monogamy (by the first wives bridgage and an effort to thwart it (by some men and the second wife bridgage!)

(3) geometrically rising rate of divorce and broken homes, with the attendant consequence on the children (infact, a time will come when Children would be allowed to have a say in Divorce cases as women still use them as a "punishment" for the man).

4.) Cheating on the part of some monogamist, due to the endless number of divorce and re-marriages, coupled with infidelity, that is so common with some proponents of Monogamy! grin

Finally, let me add that if you think Monogamy is "sanctioned by God" Himself! Why then did he so dearly love "Polygamist like Abraham, David, Solomon, e.t.c ..... or do you think God loves you more than these guys? Stop fooling yourself.

Family › Re: A Thread For "Everything Polygamy"! by lastpage: 11:46am On Oct 01, 2014
Continued......

But let me putting it into perspective:
*POLYGAMY was not the problem.

*POLYGAMY was a natural way of life since creation

*MONOGAMY has nothing to do with Christianity, it is not Biblical, at best, its a suggestion for those aspiring to be Christian elders;... just like CELIBACY is a suggestion by Apostle Paul (But we know how Catholics have turned that one into a Doctrine! grin No disrespect to Catholics.)

*GREED, JEALOUSY and DEADLY AVARICE (which Monogamy was adopted to solve) is still rife in ALL "family-settings", Be it Polygamous, Monogamous, Christian, Muslim and Atheist!.
Its the nature of women! Remember the story of Sarah and her Servant woman, Haggai? undecided undecided

Finally, let me "observe" that even the Brits who "invented Monogamy" have realized that its an aberration in that it goes against "human nature"
.... even though it benefits the GREED and SELFISHNESS of the "first/current legal Wife" (the more reason you will see that the proponents of Monogamy are first wives! Second wives have a different view! Even their "relatives" support it tacitly as long as they are not the first, legal wife! grin )
... The fact that we now have so-called Monogamist, who marry and divorce, only to remarry and divorce a few times in their life-time, makes nonsense of the MONOGAMY POLICY! It also shows that it has nothing to do with Christianity!

1.) Thus, It takes us back to "square one" whereby the women (The current Vs. The divorced wife of the MONOGAMIST), still fight their "deadly battles" over the man's property. They still harm each others children and still tries to undo each other over the man's attention.
These are the "Problems of Polygamy", that Monogamy was expected to solve! shocked shocked But it did not!!

2.) A TRUE Monogamist must marry ONLY ONE WIFE in his Lifetime and must never cheat behind closed doors. Even if divorced, must not marry again! grin grin grin
Now, we have what is referred to as "Serial Monogamy"! grin A form of "cheating monogamy"! The reason IMO, Women, (the "current and legal wife", before being divorced as those before her!) still support Monogamy is because they feel it guarantees them a leverage over the man's "wealth and person".

3.)If you took time to read over all the "negative comments" about Polygamy here, you will notice that
(a) THEY ALL HAVE TO DO WITH RIVALRY OVER WHAT BELONGS TO THE HUSBAND (His house, his time, his money, his love, e.t.c)
(b) It is ANOTHER WOMAN (the second or first "woman"wink that is at the root of all the wickedness that goes on and makes Polygamy look bad.
Did we have so much greed, jealousy, wickedness and hatred during the "olden days of our great-great grand parents" when Polygamy was practically the norm? I am talking about up to say the 1950s?

dastranger: Forgive my being inquisitive, Pls I'd like you to provide me the verse where the Bible forbids polygamy.
MY CONTRIBUTIONS: (please dont read if you have an "attention span" problem. Its detailed. wink

Actually, MONOGAMY has NOTHING tot do with CHRISTIANITY!
That l can tell you authoritatively.

The closest the Bible speaks about "Monogamy" are:
1.) Keep the marriage bed "clean". (implying dont sleep with a second woman on your "marriage bed". How you "navigate" that is very open and easy, so its not the same thing as proscribing polygamy)

2.) A Church ELDER should be a man of but ONE WIFE. (Now, this is very specific, it was referring to an ELDER in the CHURCH. You want to become an "Elder", then forget a second wife. Simple. What about the millions upon Millions who have no desire to become church elders or are not even Christians? Hmmm...)

Now, Let me put this here, to set the records straight.

MONOGAMY was "instituted" by the British Empire! THE BRITISH STATE ...not even the Church of England!

By the way, are you aware that the British Monarch, King Edward the 8th, ABDICATED his thrown around 1940, so that he can marry his sweetheart, a second wife? Google it if you want more details! grin grin

The Romans and British were core-polygamist just like the rest of the World was, since the Ages!
Polygamy was the NATURAL WAY man and woman lived together
...... (and probably MOST LIVING THINGS WITH GENDER DIFFERENCE ESTABLISHED by NATURE)

*As men acquired wealth, it was "observed" that women were Cheated out of INHERITANCE, as they were considered, in 'legal terms' CHATTELS or property of their husband (again, you can read up on this on google, am not saying anything fantastic... just facts)

As time passed, this practice of women being "chattels" was challenged, fought against and gradually reversed. Women were given more rights in the family setting.
At the point where they were considered as "private individuals" like men (as against "property" of their husbands) they had to be offered INHERITANCE RIGHTS! This is where Monogamy sprang-up. read on.
Dont forget that it was the "Church" that ruled in those days and there was practically no separation between "Church and State". From the Roman Empire (Catholic Church), to the British Empire (Church of England)

Since they could now inherit, and as you would expect, the "Head of the Household", the Husband, who by then has many wives (women) began to face serious problems! The WOMEN (wives) began to scheme and plan to subvert each other.
Their rivalry and greed took serious dimensions and they began to kill each other and then extend it to their children..... all in the name of GREEDAND SELFISHNESS.

Thus, the British Empire, was in a very difficult situation in addressing these hordes of Greedy women, killing each other for the sake of INHERITANCE!
THE BRITISH GOVT then adopted THE LAW (yes, they made a law) saying that A MAN SHOULD HENCEFORTH, MARRY ONLY ONE WOMAN AS THAT WOULD SORT OUT THIS "WOMEN PROBLEM" OF KILLING EACH OTHER OVER INHERITANCE
This is how the British first, and then gradually Europe and the West (America was created by disgruntled Brits who went to found the "New lands" as American founders called America back then)

The ideas actually put a "brake" on this murderous activities of women and the RIVALRY slowed down.

Onegai: From what I have seen of Polygamy, being a Divorcee is harder but I'll take that badge any day, any time.

If only men knew the lasting damage such an environment leaves on their kids...

If men could be made to understand the value of Self-Control and not cheating, the effect it would have on their kids...

OP, speak to a 1st wife, speak to a 1st wife and weigh your pros and cons according to your needs, not your wants. I wish you the best, as I am not sure I can accept your decision calmly. I'm the sort to react later: my hypothetical polygamous husband will not realise that 10 years after marrying more wives, I will poison him. And I will not regret it. I know myself, I know what I'm capable of (sad and true). I know what growing up in a polygamous home did to me and my brothers and sisters (how we all struggle to keep good monogamous homes now, because we never saw a peaceful family, we had no good examples)..
Thank you for being HONEST! It is not a virtue you find in most people nowadays!

A lot of men are murdered by their so-called wife using gradual poisoning and it remains UNKNOWN, especially in Nigeria where most deaths are NEVER investigated for HOMICIDE! We are just too carefree and unconcerned about loss of lives.

But let me say that MURDER is MURDER! It is never justified by killing your victim.
"MURDERERS" DESERVE TO ROT IN JAIL; MAN OR WOMAN

If you dont like your husband any more because he decides to marry an "extra" wife, you and every woman is at LIBERTY TO DIVORCE HIM!
That is why l will always be a proponent of DIVORCE, if differences are deep and cannot be reconciled. ...(though not just for willy-nilly purposes or just for the sake of Greed ala money and property!)

To resort to murder of your spouse not only shows your own "VERY INNATE NATURE" ....(you know you never can really know your spouse when everything is going good and dandy!.. But suffer a calamity like loss of work/income, let him/her come into sudden MONEY or POWER or let UNHAPPY EVENTS like Cheating/Second wife/Divorce come into the picture.... and the TRUE NATURE of your SPOUSE will start rearing its head.... and what a UGLY HEAD you will face!) .....
But also shows that you yourself are no better than the person you killed! You have no moral advantage at all.

Lets take the easier and more moral route, if we find ourselves in a situation were we cannot resolve ANY DIFFERENCE(S) with our spouse.

SEPARATE... GET A DIVORCE after, if you need to re-marry and was previously legally married.

fkaz: He told Channels Television on Monday that the aircraft might have been there to detonate explosive devices that may have been planted in the building prior to the collapse.

“We are investigating the incident for the world to know what actually happened. When you look at the clip you will see that it was not just the aircraft hovering. At the point of the incident, there was explosion.

“It is possible they were either dropped or planted and the aircraft will have to come and detonate it.

“The persons in the building said that the noise they heard suggested that it was an explosion.

“Those involved in the act may not have been aware of the security cameras.
“With modern technologies explosive devices could be detonated without a loud noise.

“There were about four explosives that were detonated in the building from the much the CCTv could capture and because we know that there would be fragments from the explosive, we are calling for an investigation,” he said.

How foolish and easily PLEASED DECEIVED my people are?

8.) I want him to STOP reading his speeches like he is a stammerer! he is a PHD for God's sake. Try "practice-reading" it in advance, at least.
9.) I want him to put in policies and follow through, on Agricultural development within the country (like set-up and fund mechanised farm settlements complete with Machines and all modern amenities of life, to attract graduates ready to work)
10) I want him to STOP selling our national Assets (in the name of privitisation) to his cronies! Oil blocks who are not professionals in those field and know next to nothing about managing such Industries. Osode: Young man, you still dont get it do you? I want your generation to correct the 'mistakes' my generation of men seem to have made. I want you to have the same 'natural' sense of Outrage and disgust that you feel if you see a women physicaly abused by a Man, for a Woman who elects of herself to verbaly or emotionaly abuse any man. We are africans. We know the care our grandmothers took to drill the Two Different sets of instructions into their Male and Female children. But it appears that now it is only the man that society and the law now require to maintain that Respectful Reserve.

PS.
When last did u hear a mother beating her little daughter, saying 'dont talk to ur brother like that, dont u know he is stronger than you'
You speak wisdom Bro!

I think, wannabe 'lady's men" need to understand what and whom the lines "women, as a weaker vessel" is referring to.
Until we can all agree on "who is a WOMAN",... not just by virtue of spotting boobs or arze or something in-between, we will continue to go round in circles.

But l tell you, when a man meets a "real woman" (as in the true and real definition of WOMAN), he will treat her right, worship her and lay his life on the line for her!
He wont do this because he is under any sort of pressure, not because "The Law" says so, not because he is afraid of her, not because he is intimidated by what would happen next, not because some feminazi have told him what to do or because he wants to be politically correct ...

...... but because he has seen in her "A WOMAN"!

All those rules (never raise your hand against a woman, treat her like a queen, open doors for her, treat her like a weaker vessel, provide for her, love and cherish her, e.t.c) are made and put in place, ....in respect of a "real woman".... not some attention-seeking, over-hyped aggressive chancer who thinks its her God-given right to rubbish any man she comes across!

I think its even natural for a man (any man) to NATURALLY LOVE and RESPECT a woman, ....a "Real Woman".
The Love of women has been deposited in the DNA of men from creation (especially through s.ex*ual attraction) and that is the 'simple and only reason' why men in general, still find some of the current generation of women attractive otherwise, (and l hope we are not getting there very soon!) ...men will simply tell women to eff-off, with all the grief that men are going through (as we read about the daily!) in the hands of "modern women".

Mind you, the advent and promotion of Homosexually/lesbianism is even making marriage and association with women, very endangered and l think its just a matter of time before it becomes "acceptable" for each gender to stay with their own type in a family arrangement!

Even the Pope is begining to have a re-think... and thinks Same sex marriage is cool!
grin grin
What does that tell you! shocked shocked shocked
Fingers crossed o, give it another 20yrs from now.

shymexx: What's there to be jealous of in a country still deeply segregated along racial lines in 2014? A country with the highest poverty rate in the civilised world? A country where everything is so racially tensed that the POTUS virtually gave up on speaking on it after his first few months in office during the Henry Gates saga? A country that's just 5% of world's population but has about 25% of the world's prison population as alluded to by its Attorney General, Eric Holder, a few weeks ago? A country with a highly militarised police force as seen during the Ferguson riots? Etc.. Just because a country has big guns to bully other little countries, and the liberty of the Fiat system to print money endlessly, without any repercussions - that doesn't make it civilised. And I just posted this to educate you - stop going on a tangent, and focus on the topic.

For the Ray Rice issue: it's basically sad that we live in an age where everything is controlled by the political correctness of the socia media, and MSM (mainstream stream media). And an age where those in limelight don't have a window of opportunity to make mistakes as human beings - without all kinds of sanctimonious people jumping to conclusions with their harebrained opinions.

Yes, what Ray Rice did is condemnable, and I'm not a proponent of domestic violence, even in its slightest form. But I do support self-defense as a last option, when your life is at risk, or when you have had enough and reached a breaking point. However,in this case, since the woman in question refused to press charges - and both the court of law (an institution that imposes what's right or wrong in the society based on the law) and police force saw the video evidence, and decided not to take any action. I honestly don't believe the society, especially an immoral and imperfect one, has a right to play the judge and the jury - to make the lives of both the accused and the victim a living hell. It's not right.

And with this precedence, we're going to end up opening up a pandora box, that will end up destroying/consuming everyone. Leave people's private lives out of their careers, especially when they're in a profession where being a role model is a choice, and not a necessity. The guy has shown enough remorse - and I can't wait to see him back on the football field, pounding and making sweet runs, and gaining extra yards after contact. He's a football player, not the Pope or your Church Priest.
You know what, when the MOB has nothing better to do and are very bored, they are happy to see a guy, any guy but even moreso if he is black, commit the slightest mistake!
As defined, "The Mob mentality" kicks him and they want the bring the guy down at ALL COST!
Remember how they tried to bring Tiger Woods down?
While l agree that wrongdowing needs to be investigated and punished, the fact that the victim and accused can "resolve their differences" without third party interference, to me, is even better given that they are married couples.

How would you want the marriage to fare, after he is sentenced (rightly so) and he comes back from prison? The marriage is definitely D.O.D at that point but these two are ready to "sort it out" within themselves as husband and wife .. but the "Mob Wolves" would have non of it!
They just want to see BLOOD! grin grin

And you will be surprised to know that just like T.V celebrities who poke nose into other people's affair, they do worse than the people they condemn.
These "3rd parties" who cry more than the bereaved, are actually the dangerous species who delight in making others miserable Under the guise of defending them) because their own personal life is actually miserable, to begin with! wink

And it is very funny when you see chaps who think it is out of "jealousy" that anyone can criticize the USA in certain areas of life! huh grin
yes, military power (even enviable at that sef) but morally bankrupt than most 3rd world countries and hell-bent on destroying the "few remaining positives" of smaller countries..... hence its tying "AID" to issues like adoption of gay-practice, purchase of arms, opening of local market to flooding by mechanised producers in the West, liberalisation, human rights which itself picks and chooses when to observe and respect (Guantanamo, Abu Graib, Vietnam, Occupy Wall street crackdown, e.t.c)

Anyway, "blackman,... know yourself". wink wink

And the "anger" they showed at his choice made me think they were really offended but l guess a guy like him has "seen it all" so one has to respect his choice.

there's a big difference between fear and respect...u can't punch out respect from your wife only fear

the story making rounds in almost every blog site is how teebillz have turned his wife tiwa savage into a punching bag...brother if that's true...I repeat if* that's true.... then you are not a real man
Do "Real Women" BEAT or PROVOKE their Husbands?

Actually, you should be thanking your Mother for being a "real woman" because she NEVER PROVOKED OR BEAT YOUR DAD! wink wink undecided

dandydaniels: women are lesser beings(fact)....why waste your strength and time beating them? bro c'mon! they are made to be loved...to be bought clothes...jewelries...cars...taken to cool places...pampered...and at night made to sing in tongues to their creator
How old are you sef? Ask women if "they agree to being called LESSER BEINGS"! shocked shocked
While l agree with you that VIOLENCE should be avoided by both Husband and wife..... to now think it is being perpetuated by ONLY A MAN and attach that to "MANHOOD" is sooo NAIVE!

If you want to be seen as a "lady's man", try find other ways to do that instead of castigating men in a general sense.

My prayer for you is not to marry a "quarrelsome woman" as wife ... then you'll know what the Bible said about it "being better to live on the ROOFTOP...than live under the same roof with a quarrelsome woman"! grin grin grin

Thing is: Federal Govt (whose authority is superior to that of State Govt) said it is doing a parallel investigation!

Whether this is a PLOY or NOT, we need to wait for the result of that investigation, to move forward.

To avoid a chaotic situation, Lagos has to "pend" the outcome of its own investigation, for now. But both outcomes need to be made Public.

It is not done in law, to convict a man, pending completion of investigation.

What we need to do is to ensure that the F.G's investigation has a 'reasonable time limit"..... and the OUTCOME MADE PUBLIC!

Lagos State and Fashola's hand has just been tied by our clueless President, once again!

A "SMART F.G" would just have "examined and adopted" the Lagos Investigation, if it has no hidden agenda up its sleeve!

Just a few hours ago, l heard our President, "Dr" Ebele Jonathan, speaking at the UN Assembly!
He BOASTED that we have ERADICATED EBOLA COMPLETELY in Nigeria..... though he offered not ONE SINGLE EVIDENCE! shocked shocked shocked
Crazy, you will agree with me.... and he was just ridiculed all over major media.
I digress a lil'bit:
(By the way, why cant this man READ PREPARED TEXT FLUENTLY? Is he naturally a stammerer? He takes it two words at a time and that makes him sound like some jittery kindergarten trying his hands on his first A,B,C! Could it be that he needs a new reading glasses or maybe he needs to read the speech a few hundred times before facing the public. He does not appear PRESIDENTIAL at all, IMO, especially for the most populous black nation on earth. Abeg, stop embarrassing us joor!)

End digression!
As he was speaking, my mind went straight to this wonderful woman (if l was a Muslim, l would call her the first and only "real martyr"!) whom though a lowly human, l have elevated to the level of that one from heaven who laid down his life for all of us, so that we might live! Jesus the son of God.

Okay, am getting carried away each time l reflect on what this woman did.

otijah: And after she did all that the man still distributed the disease. What about the poeple who worked very hard containing and eradicating the virus? Wht are their own compensation. Make them go sidon abeg
I observed that a few people were talking about money for the family or whether she was the only one who made a sacrifice?.

I will say:
1.) A good name is better than riches; money will finish but immortalising someone's name like this, will live forever. I am not against financial compensation but you will agree with me that the "mentality of money first" as shown by some here, is borne out of our experiencing acute poverty and an uncertain future.
Even if her family were to be compensated financially by Govt, they should keep it under wraps.

BTW: What stops us, me and you from setting up a foundation for her children, in her name? They do it in other climes, contributing small-small amounts which end up into millions, from the sheer number of people involved. wink
That family in Liberia which got wiped out by Ebola would give almost anything to someone like Dr. Adedavo, to stay alive, l guess.

2.) Though other people contributed to clamping down on this Virus, but if we all agree that it was "Captain Sawyer" that brought it into our country, through Lagos, you only need to imagine the kind of Epidemic we would have had on our hands if this Ebony of a woman, did not "sacrifice her own life" just to ensure that we all can be here today, jabbing away at our Nairaland stuff!

Will President Jonathan be able to boast at the U.N today, if Patrick Sawyer was allowed to escape into Obalende or Idumota, just for One hour only, knowing how closely packed Lagos residents are? And its all down to this woman!
I tell you, we dont know what God did for us through this woman, yet!
Peruse videos and pictures of what is happening in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.

The loss is business, loss in lives, the lock-down, the uncertainty, the destruction of the economy, family breakdown, e.t.c... and it is still on-going!

Compare what she did with what that greedy slowpoke of a Doctor in Port Harcourt did (who for pecuniary gain, hid the infected patient in a Hotel and transferred it to his own family) ... and you will realize that this woman qualifies for a Nobel Prize for "selflessness"!

I second the call to name IDH after her. I hope in future, we can put her name on our currency as well.
Better than all those clowns being awarded GCON, OFN and other useless National Awards.
She went beyond the call of duty, as they say in the military!

As for other medical staff who died doing their work, they should also be remembered. Their name could be on a plaque in front of the same Hospital, like the 9/11 memorial park theme.

Hmmm..... I am happy for our guy, so romantic....

This reminds me of that Guy going to Onitsha, from Lagos!
At Bus terminus, he was full of happiness and told the Bus Driver: Oga driver, this journey go sweet so much!

Driver: Well, l hope so, lets just pray that there wont be all those Police people and "harm" Robbers on the way! Onitsha is still very far to be so optimistic and the last trip l did was not child-play at all.

Guy: Noo, this trip has to be it, right now, l am going to buy goods from Onitsha, to setup my own Bizzness for life! More reason why l am very elated. Dont even worry, l will settle any Police that disturb our trip. Armed Robber is not our Portion IJN! I can even buy youa drink at next stop at Oree junction!

Driver: Anyways, lets see how it goes. But l will remember that "settle police promise" you just made o! wink

FAST FORWARD to Benin-Ore road, four hours later, 6pm Nigerian time!

Armed robbers: Come down everybody and surrender your valuables. If we catch you hiding anything, we will kill everyone in this Bus before killing you in a very painful way!

Guy: No way, l cant loose this money to armed robbers, l have to hide it!

Driver: (predicting what "Guy" is thinking about) Heeey Bros, please, dont even try it! Do you want them to kill everyone here?

Guy: You cant do this to me, after all l promised you?

Driver: Its not my fault, l want to stay alive and its just money, wont you make another one later in life, if you are alive?

Armed Robbers: Thank you all for your nice cooperation (**enters vehicle and zooms -off***)

Guy: You are a very wicked Driver, you are this you are that. Very ungrateful! blah-blah-blah

Driver: its not my fault now, how am l to know this is how it will turn out, blame the armed robbers please and stop focusing on me.... or did l not just save your life?

Moral of this "useless story" is: Take caution when investing on a journey whose outcome you dont know and cant control!

When l see things start out so beautifully like this, l always pray that God will "sit in the heart of both spouse", so that they can end the journey on such beautiful note, as well.

I wish them Love and a lot of Endurance as well.
