barcanista: Arrant nonsense. They are only tring to save TBJ using mago mago. What is the "committee" and probe for? We all know that the man neglected the law and his actions has relationship with the building collapse. Why suspend a probe that has concluded its findings? Since when did Lagos State Govt start being an attachee of the FG? Fashola and his government has embarrassed me and other followers of LASG! This is the same thing FG did on Stealer Oduah, Subsidy thieves, Ali Ndume, Alimodu Sheriff etal.CHILLAX! My friend. It is a case of "The MORE you LOOK, the LESS you SEE! I mentioned the "inflammability" of dealing with issues concerning religious organisations in Nigeria, in one of my previous posts when this incident happened, knowing the way Nigerians hold their "Daddy Pastor" in the highest esteem https://www.nairaland.com/1903875/synagogue-fashola-orders-church-staff/6#26337926 .....and how a Church with such large followership can do damage to a party that crosses its path! As it is, a few things can be "gossiped". 1.) T-Boboo himself knew he is in trouble and would have made efforts to "kill the investigation" using all sorts of dirty tricks, blackmail not excluded. 2.) Knowing Fashola, he would have thumbed his nose up and told T-Boboo to allow the "law to take its course". 3.) T-Boboo would have reached out to his "foot-soldiers" in the Federal Govt parastatals to please assist in "saving our church from persecution by some ALIENS in a Flying Saucer and "the other" religion (you know what l mean by that, right), bearing in mind that Fashola is a Muslim and our people are so quick to introduce religious bigotry into scientific issues 4.) Fashola, being smart as he is, is now KILLING TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE! He knows what the federal Govt, which is a "Committee Expert Extra-Ordinarie", will come up with, just as we all know. Fashola has simply SHIFTED THE BURDEN of being the one to nail T-Boboo to the federal Govt (If they decide to do their work properly as Lagos has just concluded the investigations). On the flip side, if this develops into a fiasco (due to pressure from the S/African Govt and relatives of the dead people), Fashola again, has simply wash himself "clean" as he can rightly point out that he was not responsible for the "results and emanating fiasco" since The Federal Govt has TAKEN OVER THE INVESTIGATION! And he will get the sympathy of Nigerians for that since he has announced PUBLICLY that the Fed Govt has taken over ... from"small" Lagos state! Either way, Fashola wins! **** Gives that Lagos Boy a standing Ovation! Honestly, smartness is probably what l admire most in other people! If "Otuoke-Master" and his PDP misfits were half as smart as a Mouse, they should have allowed Fashola to announce his findings first, blame him for a shoddy work (if the result does not suit their purpose, and by then T-Boboo's members will be poising for a showdown with Fashola's party at the coming Polls while T-Boboo himself can preach everything NEGATIVE about Fashola from now till election time ) ..Then Otuoke-master will simply do another "investigation" which nullifies Fashola's own (or confirms it stylishly, while still taking Credit!) and at the same time satisfies T-Boboo and his throngs of firebrand and intoxicated muppets! That is a few hundreds of thousand Voters in the kitty! Either way, Otuoke-master will win (or would have won)... but as we have seen now, "Abinibi" is different from "Ability"! To Fashola, smartness is "in-born" (Abinibi) To the federal govt, smartness is a virtue it is struggling to acquire since 1914! Lastpage! Caveat: personally, l hate playing politics or religion, with important issues like these and if left to me, anyone found culpable in this tragic matter will certainly spend at least the next 15years (minimum) in Kirikiri jail. We must learn to value life and do things right, irrespective of religion or creed or tribe. |
THIS POST IN UTTER CRAP! Though l support "keeping your virginity" if you feel like but the reasons given here are mere conjectures and a figment of the poster's imagination! Imagine saying it is IMPOSSIBLE for a virgin to have STD's! I know of an 8yr old pry two pupil who had STD just by sitting on the same "Water Closet" seat previously used by an adult.... and that was how she caught! But she is a Virgin!! There is a difference between saying "Staying a Virgin reduces the risk of contacting some diseases that are sexually transmitted" than saying it is impossible, abi grammar na your problem? And did it occur to you that married virgins might find sexual relationship with their spouse, difficult, incompatible, or even frigid, due to lack of "prior experience"? We all know how awkward our first experience was... and a few down the line, before we became "experts"! ![]() Now, l am not talking about "multiple escapades" when l say "experience". I think the watch-word should be "MODERATION" in anything we do. Jeez! Lastpage! |
UTILITYMAY: Fresh reports say that Boko Haram group has finally agreed to free all the Chibok girls for 18 sect commanders currently in detention.I wish l have a direct link to the Govt or DHQ! First, the life of the girls, ALL of them are very important. 2.) Boko Haram will not release them until they get what they want in return, that is the whole aim of Kidnapping for ransom! 3.) Except very detailed care is taken, those criminals can change their words at the last minute, (after getting their Commanders) or Booby-trap some of the girls with remote-controlled suicide vests and ...KABOOM! 219 girls in flames and small pieces! ![]() Pls take caution when collecting them. Do the needful pls. Now, if l were in Govt, l will simply identify the 18commanders and find a way of inviting them for "final briefing" before release. We will drug them and once asleep, in-plant/inject GPRS-sensitive micro-chip in them (this units are so small you will swallow one without even knowing you've swallowed anything. "Very bigger" versions are used in your Tom Tom or Garmin and even Smart phone Sat Navs They will be released, we will get our Girls back but we will be tracking their location one by one and listening to their conversations! We wont kill them immediately (using a Drone of course!) but wait until we have collected enough "intel" about their locations, operations and sponsors. We simply blow them at the next "general meeting" or we take them a few at a time. There is another, even better method l want to suggest: Okay, not here again... am sure some of their "apologist" are even reading this one sef! Phucking terrorists! Your days are numbered!! ![]() ****Shuts down Computer before the thing starts doing "auto-pilot" by itself**** ![]() Lastpage! @perfectlyperfect: You beat me to it, just saw your post now! |
MY OWN VERDICT: I have been a "GUNNER" since the days when teams like Wimbledon were Premier League Title contenders (You will agree with me that was in the late 70's!). I am still a 'Gunner" and l will repeat what l have been saying in the last 5years or so. 1.) "Arse" Wenger has been a marvellous coach for Arsenal.... than any other coach you might name, for the fact that he was able to consistently remain "Top-Four" even while the club was building a new stadium, without eternal funding (Though we must all notice that Arsenal tickets and club paraphernalia are the most expensive, world over!) 2.) He has won a lot of trophies for the club in the past 3.) As an M.Sc. degree holder in Economics, Wenger knows how to "MAKE AND MANAGE MONEY". Today, he is a Director and a major shareholder in Arsenal, as a "private enterprise" thus, the more money Arsenal as a club makes (selling their best players, hiking Ticket and souvenirs price, getting knocked-out in Champions League final stages, e.t.c), the more money "Arse" Wenger makes for himself. Selling your best players makes more money for a club than winning the Premiership! FACT!! 4.) The last time Arsenal won anything important (If the F.A Cup, won last year can be considered very important, compared to Champions League or the Premiership)......was NINE YEARS ago! 5.) Anyone with any idea about anything knows that "You cannot be doing something THE SAME WAY and expect A DIFFERENT RESULT"! "Arse" Wenger has done certain things (Tactics, style of play, selection of players, Player Wage structure, trading of players(buying and selling or looking for cheap "free agent", e.t.c) in the past that worked very well and he was rewarded with trophies, for it. But those are in the days when clubs like Man-Shitty, Chelsea, etc, were not so awash with money from their foreign owners. In those days, everything depended on the "acumen of the Manager" but today, things are different! 6.) Today, Clubs like Chelsea or Man City can boast of at least TWO WORLD CLASS players, for every position (or even three or four in their attack line! just look at the "top Striker position" of some clubs like Man U, Chelsea, Man City!) .....of course, these "strategy" costs a lot of money. 7.) "Arse" Wenger on the other hand still thinks we are in the 80's and he is USING THE SAME STRATEGY HE HAS BEEN USING (which worked in the past!) BACK THEN, ....IN 2014! Unfortunately, THINGS HAVE CHANGED BUT "ARSE" WENGER IS NOT READY TO CHANGE! 8.) Every transfer season, he LIES TO SUPPORTERS LIKE ME! He knows he wont buy certain players but just to confuse the supporters, he puts in a miserable bid and then sits back as other "more serious clubs" poach these talented players! Infact, it got to a stage that other Clubs just WAIT until "Arse" Wenger makes a bid for a player..... knowing he wont buy the player, they simply buy that player since they all know he can spot very good talent, like a Customs Dog after Drug! 9.) Occasionally out of panic, Arse Wenger "splashes and flashes" cash on a single player, (like Ozil in 2013, Sanchez in 2014) just to keep the house quiet for a few more years! Football is a "Team Work", you will not succeed unless every area of the Field is covered with GOOD PLAYERS, AT THE SAME TIME! In Arsenal's case, one season they have the best Mid-Field (2009/10) but a miserable attack boasting of Nicklas Bendtner as top striker! ![]() Next season, they boast of the best striker like Van Persie in 2011/12 but the Defence is shyte! Then next season again, they improve their mid-field but sell their defenders (Sagna, Clichy, Nasri, e.t.c). Thus shifting the "problem" from one area/position of the team, to another. Apart from Sanchez, tell me the "World Class Player" he bought this season,, amongst the like SEVEN players he acquired? What l am saying is that, like Man City or Chelsea, if you want to win trophies, you MUST ensure you have not just a "complete team", but have "solid options" on the BENCH! It is called "DEPTH" and Arsenal lacks BOTH! 10.) Finally, l will urge supporters like myself to take a chill and not give themselves "High Blood Pressure" over nothing as "Arse" Wenger's share in Arsenal is rising continuously, his wages are increasing yearly and he is generally feeling cool while 'supporters" are going to bed in agony! Verdict is: ARSENAL as a Club, will WIN NOTHING...... as long as "Arse" Wenger remains the coach. A Leopard (Wenger) does not change its spots and you cant teach an Old Dog (Wenger) a new trick! ![]() Trust me on this (end of season will soon come) .... and you might increase your life span by a few years otherwise "Oyo lo'waa" (You are on your own!) Lastapge! Caveat: feel free to share your own verdict please; no need to start "foaming from the mouth or get abusive" though, that does not change anything at the Emirates. ![]() |

I have read a lot of people calling "themselves" barbaric, blood thirsty, e.t.c.,..... because the people resorted to jungle justice. But should you not take a pause to ask: Assuming the people are civilized, ....and decide to just handle the 'suspected kidnappers' to the Police, as would be done in very civilized climate, what would happen next? Well, l will tell you: The Police will take a long look at them (as they often do with "pulic-arrested" armed robbers) as just PRONOUNCE A HEFTY FINE ON THEM, TO BE POCKETED BY THE POLICE OFFICER! THE CRIMINALS WALK FREE, WITH AN ADMONITION TO "PERFECT THEIR ACT SO THAT NEXT TIME THEY ARE NOT CAUGHT END OF STORY!! I am sure we have seen this scenario play out over and over again. This is what pushes "decent people" to the point of jungle Justice. They have lost interest and confidence in the ability of the Police and our Judiciary, to deliver justice. And where the "system" fails in its duty to deliver justice, it is only logical and expected that the people will themselves deliver that justice, in the best way they know how! So, instead of just heaping blame on the populace, let us first do something about our social and justice system. A o'lefi e'tee sile, ka ma'pa lapalapa (We cant continue to expend energy on ring worm, while ignoring Leprosy! (Yoruba adage). The people's behaviour is the "Ring worm" while the root cause of the problem itself is the "Leprosy"! Most people fail to realize that the world, our nation Nigeria and even to a micro-level of the Family Unit is made up of a "closed system" where the laws of Nature and Laws of Physics inter-play. In that closed system, "Action and Reaction" becomes "Equal and Opposite" such that if one goes up, the other goes down to compensate, in other to maintain a state of "Equilibrum". Let me break it down a lil'bit. In a society (closed system) where the Police and Judiciary do their work properly, where laws are enforced and corruption is tackled savagely, crimes like kidnapping, jungle justice, ritual murder, brazen looting of national resources, political thuggery, e.t.c. ... WILL BE MINIMIZED TO THE BAREST MINIMUM. The people will just hand-over any suspected criminal, to law enforcement agents, knowing FOR SURE that justice will be done. The reverse is also true in another society (closed system) like Nigeria. THINK ABOUT IT FOR A MINUTE AND DRAW EXAMPLES FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. So, like my people will say, which do you tackle first? The peoples behaviour ..... or what makes them behave like that (or what could STOP them behaving like that)? As a people, we must understand that FIRST and FOREMOST, we must make effort to ensure that the "structures" of civilized bahaviour put in place (Police, Judiciary, EFCC, Law and Justice, Customs, SSS, Teachers, Politicians, especially Representatives, e.t.c) all do their job. Naturally, the people will "follow".... as they are nothing but FOLLOWERS. Right now, they are just "following" what they see: A failed Nation! Lastpage! |

shymexx: I honestly don't think there's anything wrong with this apart from the medieval way in which they went about it.While l agree with most of what you wrote, does it not beg the question that Why should Ghana then be a signatory to ECOWAS..... with all its clauses on FREE borders, Free Trade and Movement of people across the sub-region, even with Ecowas passport? If you know you are not up to something, better say so and opt out ......but dont lower yourself to the point of acting hysterically and using such primitive under-hand tactics to give your locals a leg-up the ladder. Thing is, the US is responsible for half of the war and violence world over. It creates wars, then sell weapons to both parties and then goes to the U.N to secure a bogus resolution to finish-off the party it does not like. Take the issue of ISIL (Islamic state in Iraq and Levant). These guys started off as small crooks with an Islamic agenda. In Syria, U.S gave them support and weapons, to topple Assad, calling them "moderate terrorist"! A terrorist is a terrorist, there is no in-between, but the U.S never learns! Since they cant bomb Syria directly, (they ran out of options and support) they are hell-bent on toppling the man, using proxies. In Libya, they supplied weapons to the same terrorists, just to get rid of Ghadafi. Now, with American weapons awash all over the place and the ones the terrorist captured from fleeing Iraqi Army (same U.S arming Shite against Sunnis), these ISIL guys have more than enough weapons, more than so many countries military. Now, America does not want to endanger its own citizens and it is saying "No Boots on the Ground", waiting for some foolish leaders (l did not say Naija o!) to push their own military men forward to fight and die on the ground! Again, as if the signs on the wall were not bold enough, America has voted yesterday to send further weapons to "moderate terrorist" to fight the ISIL, ignoring the fact that Syria and Iranian Armies are in the best position to do this! All in an effort to give weapons to some group so they can topple Asad! The major terror-financing and terror-supporting countries like Saudi Arabia, Quatar, Kuwait, Turkey are America's allies for now. If you ask me, the coalition will fail (you cant win a war by just aerial bombing alone, someone has got to do the "clean-up" on ground otherwise they will regroup very quickly!) and those terrorist would simply get stronger and emboldened. America MUST STOP flooding the terrorist with more weapons. Same failed policy is playing out in Ukraine! Always more weapons! Amnesty International and some of these NGO's are sponsored by the CIA/Pentagon so dont expect that they would not dance to their tune. Our own Govt has to do what it has to do to tackle Boko haram though, l agree that the Nigerian Police is crude, inefficient and uses torture to extract information but who doesn't? America does it in Guantanamo bay, Abu Graib prison and some of its hidden cells all over Eastern Europe Israel does it, Britain does it and we can go on and on. Nigerian Govt needs to strike a good balance between Human rights and Security. We need more of Intelligence-led police operations as opposed to brute force! Lastpage! |

Okay, enough of the dunce arguments! Lets get serious because the issue is serious. No PDP or APC nonsense anymore. We can discuss without injecting that "Party Angle" to it. It may be important, but its minor right now. I have my own questions: 1.) This Kashamu of a guy has NEVER been to the U.S.A 2.) He was fing.er.ed by one or more, of the accused 3.) A British Court refused to extradite him to the U.S.A 4.) He says he is not involved 5.) American Judge asked him to come and dance to "American Justice" Music. Asked him to buy a ticket ....but refused to seek an official extradition! 6.) Kashamu says he is not unaware that "White dominated Courts" are prejudiced against blacks, especially foreign-blacks 7.) Kashamu was referred to as the ring leader so he would probably get a LIFE sentence if he steps into the U.S, as his "lesser mates" have been convicted as well Question are: a.) Do you think he will get a fair trial in the U.S? b.) Knowing how closely knit (Dog and Tail) the relationship between U.S and U.K is, if he was actually guilty, do you think U.K will refuse his extradition to the U.S.A? c.) As it appears, reading the tone of that American judge, l have a feeling that her mind is already made-up on what to do to this Kashamu dude d.) Is the onus not on the U.S to file an extradition request and then see if our Govt will refuse it or not? They did not file one, till now e.) Is Kashamu not right to feel he wont get fair justice, as a Black man, one who has never been to the U.S and a Nigerian whose said "accomplices" have already been sentenced? f.) Going by cases of 'Black Americans" and the justice they get in America, would Kashamu not be very stewpid to hand himself over and trust that Justice would be done to him? I am all for putting a proven criminal behind bars but l am not for this colonial mentality stuff that assumes Africans are lower animals and should be treated as such. Finally, let us reverse the situation: can Nigerian Govt ask an American who has never steeped foot in Nigeria, to come for trial in Nigeria just on the foot of accusation by someone under trial and eventual conviction? Your guess is as good as mine. ![]() My suggestion is this: Put him on trial in a "neutral third country". Put all the evidence before the judge there and let him/her decide his guilt. Lastpage! Caveat: This is not a a defence of Kashamu's innocence or guilt, it is just my own dispassionate look at the whole issue. The PDP Vs. APC E-fighters can take over from here! ![]() |
segcymoor: I feel your plight perfectly well. On the other hand, u will appreciate labour only in order to avoid 'gbese'In addition to my response above, l think he "MAY" encounter a lot of grief, even much more than he is trying to avoid, at the end of the day for reasons below: 1.) After contract is signed and sealed, what if price of such "Material" rises dramatically, ....are you going to go back to the Client to ask for more money? Most will be very furious with you because they would reason: whether you will come back to "return money" to them, if the price of such material has decreased! 2.) If anything happens, maybe a crack or something, the Client can easily interpret it as "usage of inferior quality of material or even reduced quality, in a product like Cement". You will have to bear the extra cost, as defending yourself on such accusation would have been 'limited' by your insistence on "contractor-managed" business model. 3.) What if Clients goes to market for something else and discovers better material than the one you used, it will then raise questions (as most contract projects always do) of whether you have given them the best for their buck? 4.) If materials get stolen, duped or short-changed, its your loss since you bought it and the Client is only concerned with "final results" on ground 5.) In cases where the Client cannot cough out all the money at once, conflicts may arise as you wont be able to work at your own speed. All these headaches can be avoided by just offering "your expertise and your men", to do the actual building while you just put the customer through on what and what you need, ensuring that you advise them on time so that they can source it ahead of schedule. But l do like Brabus style of doing things in "modules", breaking the whole project into series of concrete but independent steps. Makes life easier for both client and Builder. Just my ten cents anyway. Lastpage! |
brabus: For so many obvious reason that I cannot recount here, I'll stick to contractor-managed model for now. I wish you knew what happens in the background. We get messed up for things we had no control over and that had to stop. Agreements get breached due to lack of fund, delayed approval, involvement of hungry middlemen/family members (acting as supervisor without construction experience)... and so many more.At bolded: You know most customers, except "Corporate Customers", would like to have control over the material used in their building as that is the only way to ensure that they get the "best quality and value for money", for themselves (No one wants to specify Spanish Tiles, only to then end up with Chinese Tiles, if you get my drift!). Agreed, its up to you to choose your "business model" as you deem fit but l think you will be limiting yourself if you insist that clients must give you the money (in trenches) and then let you manage/expend on Materials, as you wish. Most "private individual" clients will prefer that the builder requests for say, 1000bags of cement and they (client) can then negotiate its price and pay "Checkitout" for example, to supply it. I think your own interest should be that the materials are ready, as at when needed, in desired quantity. Having said that, I like the way you face challenges; l wish you the best, as you move-up the ladder. Poor people like us can go look for "Builders on our level" joor! ![]() Lastpage! |
Hi Qc1 Can you give an estimate, a rough one, of the amount spent so far, please? Just a close one will do. Cheers. Lastpage! BTW: why did you not consider using one of those very thick PVC, Nylon-like material (cant remember what it is called) to cover the foundation (before pouring concrete on the floor) to prevent water,humidity/Capillarity action from affecting the floor and walls? I have seen it used in places. |
Thanks Brabus, I appreciate your quick response and details. But one thing that stands out is that you did not specifically state whether you do "Labour only" jobs or not? i.e you get engaged to "build" and you are paid for the LABOUR/EXPERTISE ONLY (which you supply inform of physical activities like mobilizing workforce, supervision, and "human-related stuffs" ........While the Client BUYS AND PAYS for the MATERIALS needed as at your request (like Sand, Cement, Granites, Wood, e.t.c) When you say "contractor-managed" model is the route you take for now. Does that imply the opposite of what l wrote above? ^^^^ i.e the jobs you take for now are those where you are the one that MUST supply the materials as well as your labour. All the Client needs do is pay you for them, in trenches/milestones? Again, in case you are wondering, l am "being very specific" because a sibling of mine is trying to make a decision about his project and wants my input along these lines. I have a choice of you or two other builders on my "radar" to recommend to him based on a few analysis that l am doing. Cheers. Lastapge! |
brabus: How much?I am trying to get my head around this! If somebody is your client, that means they ALREADY have a "Contract to BUILD a House" with you, right? And they would be paying you an "agreed amount" for such Job (Your Labour l believe) ......while providing money for "Materials needed" to complete job Are you saying that they will have to pay an ADDITIONAL #500,000 - 600,000 if you use Marine boards for their Slab/Foundation CASTING (as their Contractor)? Do you charge your Clients for "Materials and labour" TOGETHER or do you separate your Labour cost, from the Materials which in most cases is provided, by the Client? Reason l ask this is that if for example you say: To build this house for you, l will charge you #20M, does that mean Client will hand over 20M to you and forget about everything else, waiting for you to deliver the house or you will still ask him to pay for say "iron rods" as the need arises? How do you then cater for "fluctuations in material price, variations in expense resulting from unforseen costs" (like if you had to carry sand filling over a longer distance than anticipated, to fill the foundation) ? brabus: Some people have approached us to hire the boards for their slab workHow much do you hire out the boards (boards only in this case), to such people for their own private slab work? (Price Vs Quantity) Cheers and remain strong! Lastpage! |
Everyone is talking about DISCIPLINE in the ARMY, about how INSUBORDINATION AND MUTINY IS PUNISHABLE BY DEATH, about how LOYALTY must NEVER BE QUESTIONED but let me ask: DISCIPLINE: Is it an act of "discipline" to steal soldiers allowance, make them go to war on empty stomach and in tattered gear? Where is the discipline when Top Army brass steal and sell soldiers munitions to the Enemy? Where is the Discipline when officers snitch on one another and their strategy, to the enemy? Its either there is Discipline .... or there NO DISCIPLINE! Army cant have it both ways! In "Disciplined Military Outfits", the Life and wellbeing of a Soldier is of top-most importance to EVERYONE, even to Civilians. We have come to understand that our own Nigerian military top-brass are so corrupt that they dont value the life of their service men, who rae faced with death, killed like chickens by the enemy, deaths which are avoidable IF THERE WAS DISCIPLINE AMONGST ARMY TOP BRASS! The INDISCIPLINE is at THE TOP... not the rank and file. If these guys are to be executed, then their C.O and GOC and other top brass needs to be handed over to Boko Haram .....for Justice! Source the Geese, ....source the Gander! The POT does not accuse the KETTLE of being Black now? ![]() "Silencing a Problem" does not wish away the problem, .....if care is not taken, those Top Brass would soon realize that "A king is nothing without his lieutenants"! Finally, let me quote two famous lines to summarise: "Those who make peaceful protest impossible, make violent overthrow, inevitable" "When INJUSTICE becomes LAW, ....RESISTANCE becomes a DUTY" Nuff Said, let those who have ears, listen! korel9: Nigerians need not to worry nah.God is not a God of foolishness! "Heaven" only helps those that help themselves FIRST! We are pushing our Luck too far! "OLUWAGBEMI that is using cobwebs to climb Palm tree will soon realize that he is pushing his luck too far"! I say we will hold Fashola and Jonathan responsible for avoidable deaths, if this country relapse into wide-scale infection in the next four weeks. Statistics, especially for a country with such porous borders and bad facilities, point in only one direction: CAUTION! CAUTION!! CAUTION!!! These children will not die if they stay at home for another MONTH..... but if just ONE of them is infected in a School, we are looking at over a Thousand DEATHS, not just within the school but within the wider populace. PREVENTION IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN CURE! I know the GREED of all those involved in this decision making will not allow common sense to prevail but l enjoin each family to make a wise decision, KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AT HOME FOR THE NEXT FOUR WEEKS AT LEAST! WAIT AND SEE HOW THINGS PAN OUT FIRST, LIFE HAS NO DUPLICATE O! Just my 10cents. Lastpage! |
date1816: I think now everyone can see the bigger picture of BOKO HARAM sponsors.Let us assume ALL you posted above are TRUE! Question is: Is it CAN or Ihijerika or whoever you say is blaspheming ISLAM, the one who goes around KIDNAPPING 250 YOUNG GIRLS, BURNING AND BOMBING HOMES/PEOPLE, RECITING AL_HAKRUBAWA WHILE BEHEADING ANOTHER INNOCENT PERSON? Did we see any of those people you mentioned doing that or ISLAMIC TERRORISTS LIKE BOKO HARAM AND ISIS (DEGARSH)? Those people might be guilty of other crimes (like corruption, looting, e.t.c) but dont muddle things up or use them as scape-goat. Please spare us the stories, Guns and bombs dont kill people by themselves, ...People use Guns/Bombs to Kill People! |
obailala: We know that whoever the culprits are (APC or PDP), they would never be punished if they return to Nigeria. The only favour we ask from South Africa is to just lock the individuals up like they did to Henry Okah.Better still, they should use the money to buy Ebola tinz (Tents, Body Suits, gloves, Gas mask, e.t.c) ..... and ship them back to Nigeria! It is our money, only that our leaders stole it and we know better what we need it for. ![]() Lastpage! BTW: If a country like Nigeria is buying ARMS, it has to be done OFFICIALLY, through wire transfer from CBN to the sellers bank. The explanation given by the accused sounds like some people want to purchase WEAPONS FOR 2015 ELECTIONS! ![]() |
brabus: Our clients will only pay the cost of hiring the boards. We take care of every other things. Thanks Brabus. I kind of like the use of the board better than buying 1x12 planks for same purpose. Makes your work really neat. *How much would your client customer pay you (since you are his builder/contractor), for each board (your rent rates, trying to see the cost advantage over normal planks)? *On the other hand, should you not include this "rent cost" as part of the cost of erecting the building being that it is yours to use, to do the job better? Originalsly: Hmmm.....so this guy know he can't die now since his job is not yet done. Even Christ didn't know his hour of death. This guyat a higher level. He should go help or heal the ebola victims. The fear of Ebola is the beginning of wisdom! ![]() This Ebola outbreak alone should make any "right-thinking and logical minded" Nigerian understand that these so-called Pastors/MUGUNS are complete con-men, scam-artist and FRAUD! Ebola Cure would have been the perfect selling point for them, if truly they posses any "Spiritual Power" like they claim in all their Outreach and Crusades where "unverifiable healing" take place in large numbers! ofcourse, its unverifiable and any fool can lay claim as long as the audience/members are gullible enough to swallow it! Teh other day, Pastor Bene Hign was "caught on tape" when a woman who has no illness was claimed ot have been healed of Polio and out of a wheel chair (only to turn out that she is a staff of those exposing the scam!). But what l like about this Palestinian-born American scammer is that "He owned up and said; Look, l am not perfect, these things happen. I am wrong". If he were on eof our Nigerian Pastors, he would still be working hard to pull the wool over our eyes, not minding how absurd he comes across...... Just like T.B Joshua is doing right now! SMH! justi4jesu: What about the Strange AircraftI tell you, these our "Mugun of the Gods" (MOG) have perfected the "Art of Deceit" ! They know God will not come down IMMEDIATELY to REFUTE their stewpid CLAIMS .... So they make more and more outlandish claims for the stewpid "members" to swallow! ![]() But Kudos to Fashola, he knew how "stewpidly-fanatical" Nigerians can take the issue of "My Church! My Pastor" to, thus he is being very DIPLOMATIC in telling that scammer Pastor to "Let the Law Operate" ....... else before you know it, some dimwit wannabbe "Pastor Joshua-is-my-father-scumbag" will start accusing him of trying to "destroy Christians" in Lagos, ....not being a Christian himself! ![]() BTW: That Pastor, his Engineer and others involved needs to face "Justice in a law court if it is conformed that there was NO BUILDING APPROVAL for that Construction he is doing (as in raising the height/no of floors of the building). 40 dead and counting is not to be swept under the Carpet in the name of "Gawd said Touch not my Anointed" ![]() Lastpage! |
brabus: All FORMS for this project were HIRED at a fraction of the cost of what our client would have spent on woods and the quality of work unmatched. Another great reason to build with us brabus: They are marine boards. We used South African boards for the foundation (I BOUGHT them from a company that lost a road contract) and Chinese boards for the slab.Nice work Brabus. I really appreciate your neatness, speed and foresight. Can you shed more light on the highlighted part of your post above? Are you saying YOU BOUGHT them... and the CLIENT RENTS them from YOU? Am a bit confused here! BTW: Whats the dimensions (L x B) size of each of those board? Cheers. |
o42austino: stop talking what u dont know,no good military pilot will like to eject from his plane he will try everything within his power to land d plane successfully and remember in Airforce, once ur good with an Aircraft, ur name will be written on the aircraft as a dedication and respect to u so u will not eject from such plane but try to land d plane........ and if YOU?PILOT cant "land it successfully", you will..... CRASH WITH IT, right? I think BOKO HARAM-SUICIDE has become a STAPLE FOOD for some of you! ![]() If Pilot is alive, he can always fly another useful mission, in another plane! Him get family and it costs a lot of money and effort/time to train a fighter pilot! BTW: l think our greatest problems are that of MOLES and SYMPATHISERS WITHIN OUR MILITARY, coupled with the most corrupt Govt. Lastpage! |
