hardbody: If it is to apply the use of Russian Kalashnikovs and bring in bombers to straff and level out villages and kill innocent and harmless old men, women and children, they will all become gallant. 1966-1970 has come back to roost. Apply the Nigerian valour that was used against the Biafran enclave to dislodge the BH. Who said that the military cannot use the same maximum force it used against Biafra to destabilize and decapitate BH? I have no sympathy for anyone up there, including GEJ, Borno State or BH. They are all the same to me. They brazenly killed innocent, helpless and hapless women, men and children. It is not yet time for reckoning, indeed it is not yet morning on creation day. I expect to be called names, but it won't change my views and do not come and quote me and then remind me it is an event that happened 40 years ago, No. There has been no restitution, no apologies, nothing whatsoever. Let the rampaging continue, the blood of over 3 million MURDERED Biafrans calling for reprissals. God no be small pikin....

....And what happened at Odi?.....

Indeed some animals are more equal than others and that explains why there will be more deaths on the side of the military......
Are you even remotely aware that despite this your "BIAFRAN RANT", some of the gallant Nigerian soldiers who are laying there life down for Nigeria and whom you are also insulting here .......are of IGBO extraction?

And when the war is finally won, do you think we should not recognize the contributions of these gallant Igbo soldiers
as well?

I wont abuse you, rather l will implore you to STOP shooting yourself in the leg, it is "self-defeating"!

If and when the "Whites" pay restitution to Nigeria for the Slave Trade, maybe we will consider your request, till then, Support the Nigerian Army 110%. wink wink

mmark12: This is one of the dumbest comments I have ever read. why WHERE are your sources or evidence to suggest Ebola is the result of Lab testing.
for Goodness sake think and analyze the issue, Ebola spread within West Africa because we live in the 21st century ( Modern Transportation) not 11th century.

Stop blaming America and the west for your personal failures (being an Olodo and making Olodo -like statements) and Africa's failures in containing the spread. America is not your babysister that u can blame for your misery.

SirShymex: Sir, I honestly don't think the Ebola virus is a biological weapon,............
...........

I agree with you, Africans need to get busy or die. Life expectancy on the continent keeps dropping every year and it's only going to get worse. And I'd wager that most Africans are either sick or walking dead, but most don't know.

Shalom!
SirShymex,

I have read everything you wrote but dont ot want to quote it verbatim, just to save space.
In as much as l agree with most of what you wrote, l still want us to ponder on a few "salient" questions"

1.) Monkey and rats are not new species in Africa, they have been around for ages. .... and we have been eating them in their various forms of "bush meat". Some people even eat snakes (and it is not unique to Africans alone, Chinese people eat Lizards and all sorts of "bush meat".)
So first question is: WHEN did,... and HOW did these "bush meats" have/develop the virus or when and how did they become "host" to these virus?

2.)As a follow-up question, Ebola specifically, infected humans for the first time in the Congo about 1976. If we take the theory that it was caused by Monkeys and/or Bats, how come that generations of Africans, who have been eating these 'bush meats' NEVER were infected with Ebola, for generations, before that time?

3.) Africans eat everything available! grin Like some one pointed out, if a "country-chicken" starts to misbehave and acting funny (that infection that kills them but first makes them twist their neck and swirl around in circles before they eventually die ... "Kooli" in Yoruba), we simply slaughter it and eat it.... both the Chicken and its infection! How come we did not develop Ebola or some other variants of the Kooli infection since then?

4.) HIV was alien to Africa and probably the whole world until of recent and like all other "incurable disease", why must it have to originate from Africa?...... to be "detected and curable" by the Americans ..al the time?

Now, my apologies but l think anyone who is NOT prepared to at least "examine the plausibility" of the theory that "Africans, due to our own carelessness-induced poverty, have been turned to a 'Human Guinea Pig" for the cultivation and testing of various types of Bio-Weapons, by the West, especially America, is playing the Ostrich.

Some will quickly tag it 'conspiracy theory" but l say, "At least, just look into the possibility", using logical reasoning based on some "coincidences", over time, which could probably give you a timeline that connects the t's and dot's?

One poster, "@Musilimu" (Muslim? shocked ) posted something about Tulane research and no one is researching it to see if the post was even true or fabricated? We are an endangered species and we cant afford to be "sheeple" like most Americans who believe ONLY what their govt tells them, using the Faux news, CNN, CBC, e.t.c, whether true or fabricated!

I am open to "all sources of information" and will take time to read-up on each one, do my own independent research and form an INFORMED OPINION of my own, based on what l have read and deciphered.
But most people condemn and trash information, simply because they dont like the "messenger"!

Many declassified information has shown that Americans have "experimented" on all sorts of dangerous things, from Chemical weapons, to Biological weapons and will go to great lengths to HIDE these experiments, from the Guinea Pigs, who incidentally happen to be blacks, being the most poverty stricken and illiterate breed of humans on earth!!

Some years recent, Dolphins and Whales (large sea animals)suddenly started "beaching and dying" without any explanations, from Nigeria to South Africa, to Spain! Well, there were suggestions that the Americans who were working nearby on a different project in SA, were actually testing new Biological weapons using Sonar! When it became "news", though the Americans never accepted but they stopped their work and the animal death also stooped! Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not

For a nation that has "tested" banned munitions and new variants on people in Iraq and Afghanistan (White Phosphorus, e.t.c), on Vietnamese (Agent Orange) and Japanese long ago, NOTHING IS BEYOND THEM and to just brush it aside can be our greatest undoing.

I do not hate America, l have travelled there a few times on Holiday and am still going, just like l travel to other countries around the world when l have the time, but that does not mean we cant "discuss" them and what they do.

I am inclined to think that the "new" Ebola Virus outbreak in Liberia and Sierra Leone was a "Lab-testing" of a biological weapon otherwise, how come the American Defence Department was involved in the work of Zmapp, if it was just plain, normal corporate research and not Bio-weapons??

Again, l think they just needed to go the next step, which is "human testing", something they cant do in the U.S, by injecting the Virus into the Monkeys, knowing fully well that 'Africans are bush meat eaters" and will unknowingly eat the Monkeys at a stage and the Monkeys will spread it around amongst themselves anyway! wink wink

Now, imagine if America was not aware that "it has a cure in-place", do you think they will allow a possible "INCURABLE biological catastrophe" to be brought on American soil, (rather than experiment with the treatment Abroad orin africa were it originated and people got infected), like they quickly asked the two SafePurse health workers to be brought to Atlanta? NEVER, its not in American nature to do so
If a plane load of WHITE Americans were to pose an "existential threat" to America, they would bomb it out of the Sky without blinking an eye.
I tell you, they knew what they were doing from day-1. undecided undecided

Just like "Security Companies" who manufacture "Anti-Virus Software", it is feasible that they would actually manufacture the "virus first" in the Lab, have enough time to develop a cure and probably "release the virus" to the world through a "third party" and then claim they have done research on the virus and can cure it ...... of course, for a good fee! wink

In America's case, that "fee" would or may not be monetary but global control and dominance!

In war, everything and anything is possible..... and Africa is at war with civilization and dominance.

Someone said, if it were possible to remove TWO THINGS from the World, the world will be a Paradise:
1) ISLAM,as a religion!
2.) Black Humans!!

Now, l am not defending either of the two above but if you look at American policy, subtly, it is trying to achieve both, in a very "humane, democratic and civilized way"! grin grin wink

Anyway, l still cant blame anyone for my own failures, if after so many years l still cant figure it out and solve my problem!
All these my "finger-pointing" is just for awareness alone, it does not solve the real problem.
The solution lies with we Africans looking ourselves in the eye and saying: Look, you don phuck-up big time, NOW SIT UP and TAKE YOUR PLACE AMONGST NATIONS, FROM NOW ON!

That wont be easy, because there are "forces" whose"interests" are "diametrically opposed" to that, ...but we have no choice really!
Patrice Mulumba, Jonas Savimbi, Maumar Ghadafi tried it, Allende of Chile and many more who tried it, got murdered, directly or indirectly by "you-know-whom"?
You wont get any cookies for guessing right. grin grin

Cheers Bro and nice day.

sheikh69: West Africa: What are US Biological Warfare Researchers Doing in the Ebola Zone?

Dear Nairalanders, EBOLA WAS AND IS NEVER a mystery or coincindental there are evil hands working behind the scene to spread the this cup of death especially in africa, pls. share this with me and tell us your opinions;

This is a call for an immediate, thorough, and independent investigation of Tulane University researchers (see here and here) and their Fort Detrick associates in the US biowarfare research community, who have been operating in West Africa during the past several years.

What exactly have they been doing?

Exactly what diagnostic tests have they been performing on citizens of Sierra Leone?

Why do we have reports that the government of Sierra Leone has recently told Tulane researchers to stop this testing?

Have Tulane researchers and their associates attempted any experimental treatments (e.g., injecting monoclonal antibodies) using citizens of the region? If so, what adverse events have occurred?

The research program, occurring in Sierra Leone, the Republic of Guinea, and Liberia—said to be the epicenter of the 2014 Ebola outbreak—has the announced purpose, among others, of detecting the future use of fever-viruses as bioweapons.

Is this purely defensive research? Or as we have seen in the past, is this research being covertly used to develop offensive bioweapons?

The third document is found on the Sierra Leone Ministry of Health and Sanitation Facebook page (no login required), dated July 23 at 1:35pm. It lays out emergency measures to be taken. We find this curious statement: “Tulane University to stop Ebola testing during the current Ebola outbreak.”

Why? Are the tests issuing false results? Are they frightening the population? Have Tulane researchers done something to endanger public health?

In addition to an investigation of these matters, another probe needs to be launched into all vaccine campaigns in the Ebola Zone. For example. HPV vaccine programs have been ongoing. Vials of vaccine must be tested to discover ALL ingredients. Additionally, it’s well known that giving vaccines to people whose immune systems are already severely compromised is dangerous and deadly.
Thank you for having this insight.
Our people are to "emotionally excited" to take time to pause and think on salient questions regarding this outbreak.... and the "actions/inactions" of some foreign powers.
We are so quick to label "new angles to a story" and everything else as "conspiracy theory", which is a very good excuse of "mental laziness".

Like someone pointed out, we have been eating this animals for ages ..and nothing happened simply because the animals were NOT INFECTED.
The Questions therefore are: HOW DID THE ANIMALS GET INFECTED IN THE FIRST PLACE? FROM WHEN CAME THE VIRUS INFECTION?

Could it be from a laboratory experiment gone-wrong?, or a deliberate testing of a biological weapon or even a subtle attempt to reduce black population or arm-twist us into submission?

I really feel sorry for the black race! If you think the caucasian race have been divulged of their "hatred for and supremacy against" the Balck race, you need to think twice.

But the Black race needs to wake up and understand that it needs to "adapt" ...or get extinct.

Culture › Re: The Difference Between Customary Law Marriage And Statutory Marriage. by lastpage: 2:25pm On Aug 11, 2014
I just wonder why MARRIAGE should be all about SHARING OF PROPERTY OF THE HUSBAND! shocked shocked shocked
What even makes us think the Man should die first (so his property can be shared) , before his wife?

Again, looking at our custom and traditions (compared to what is being suggested here) leaves a family behind, property or no property, it is the DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY OF HIS FAMILY TO TAKE CARE OF HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN. No "ifs", .. No "buts".

In the Yoruba tradition which l represent, the wife is "assimilated" into the family by transferring her to the next junior male (though she and the man has a first right of refusal, and l support refusal if she does not intend to re-marry again or is advanced in age) in a system called "Suu'loopo".

The children of the deceased then becomes the immediate responsibility of that junior male and other members of the family.
For example, l lost a senior brother early in life, who has three children and a wife. The wife was supposed to become my "transfered wife" according to our traditions and custome but I have asked the wife to re-marry (whcih she has now happily done and l am her father-in-law so to say! grin grin ) but the children which she sired with my elder brother have been "adopted" by myself!
I pay there school fees just like l do my own biological kids, they call me "Dad" and you can hardly notice any difference between my "biological" kids and them. My own kids have accepted them as siblings/brothers and we all live together happily.

That way, they are not exposed to some "paedophile man" their mother may later engage/marry (now, dont get me wrong, she finally married a gentle man and with my consent too); They know that this "Daddy" is their own "flesh and blood", not some stranger! They also know that we are not just "tolerating them" in the family but they are actually members of the family because we all share the same bloodline!

I discipline them exactly like l do my kids and they will never have it across their mind that "he caned me because l am not his biological child"! NEVER!!

As it is, if l compare the suggestion of "legal marriage" as a GUARANTOR of PEACE AND STABILITY when the husband dies, l think you guys are completely WRONG!
Mind you, my deceased brother had properties (two houses, cash and vehicles), ...... his assets are well maintained, IN TRUST for his biological children (house rents minus maintenance costs, into bank account, cars have been sold and resulting cash banked, e.t.c).

It will become useful to the children in future, when they need a large sum of money as time goes on but by my own "policy in life and our tradition", that his money and property is "haram" (in ShayCOW's voice grin ) to me, NEVER TO BE TOUCHED!
At times, l am wondering what would have become of the "children and assets" if everything was left to his wife, after his death? undecided undecided

There are areas of our "customs and tradition" that may need "fine-tuning"
....like l have to "fine-tune" by insisting l will not marry her, rather, she should take her time to look for somebody she loves!
But what annoys me is this WHOLESALE CONDEMNATION of our CUSTOMS.... as this author is trying to do. angry angry angry

We have left what we are supposed to be doing, in terms of cuture and traditions (to make things work fine) .... and rather chasing after "rules and machinations" that we think will protect us and give us what we want!
And what we have saddled ourselves with is endless court cases and very dangerous level of hatred and bitterness, even amongst supposedly "family members of same blood!".

Oyinbo (white culture) is not always right, ..not for us anyway, In most cases, those rules are put in place to cater for their own "culture and mentality" ...just like we Africans have rules/laws that have been created and used in since time immemorial.

But White people have been able to convince us (we are just Stewpid, the blame is not on them, its on us) that we should jettison our own culture and traditions that were designed for us and our environment ...... and to start using there own (which works for them).
The result is the level of divorce and family upheaval we have in our midst now.

The "Black man NEVER learns, l tell you".

davitogreat: Your just typing nonsense. My comment had nothing to do with feelings. Or licking ass.

It's all about facts. If the Americans see it fit to share defense funds with Uganda, ghana and Rwanda. ( countries with very questionable corrupt/shady governments and institutions)

Uganda- very corrupt. Government has history of abuse. Also history of using child soldiers.
Ghana- very corrupt and is a poster boy on how NOT to run your economy
Rwanda- though Rwanda has made great improvements economically Kagames government has also been very oppressive towards opposition and anyone who speaks ill of his government. Has played a role in assassinating journalists and opposition members in Rwanda and even outside the country.
Plus lets not forget rwanda and uganda have been caught assisting rebels who are destabilizing the congo.

So with all that What makes it right to skip Nigeria? Jonathan with all his faults is not as bad as the leaders of these countries.

nigeria is one of the worlds leading peace keeping nations and a country that does and has done a lot for Africa. So it's logical to work closely with such a country if one is looking to further peace in Africa.
Meen, l MUST commend you a lot!
You are one those very rare Nigerians that dont THINK ONLY in ONE DIMENSION! kiss kiss

That you "observed" the trend whereby some Nigerians are so quick to condemn their country and trash it, just to appear politically correct, is kudos to you.
First, there is nothing wrong in saying the truth,.... and no one will get any medal for stating that we have a corrupt, looting successive government.
Having said that, some things just dont add-up (l can remember our discussions on the refusal of Obama's America to allow the Zpulla drug, to be "tested" on a few confirmed cases of Ebola amongst Nigerians rather suggesting to us to go and build-up our STRUCTURES FIRST and as further "palliative", that he would rather support us in setting-up RAPID RESPONSE FORCE!).

Well, has he put his mouth, where his money is, now that the opportunity to "palliative" us has arisen? NO!!
And that should make any "thinking person" to understand that his statement back then was just a ruse, a tactics and complete deception!

Anyway, the bottom line is that we have to get our acts together, ....... very quickly!
Blaming "them", though correct ... will still not get us anywhere.
our salvation lies in our own hands.

Even more importantly, l am looking forward to the day when ALL our discussions on forums like this will be based on ONE SINGLE IDEA:
BETTERMENT OF FATHERLAND!

In doing so, we will disagree to agree but we will NEVER trash our fatherland, rather, we will offer opinions and suggestions to improve our land.

So, how does Mr. Obama want us to "build infrastructures" (health infrastructures like good hospitals, enough drugs, train more Doctors, medical research labs, sustained funding of the health and educational sectors, e.t.c) first, before releasing this drug to cure people who are dying in their hundreds, and maybe thousands daily, in the nearest future?

Where is the TIME to do all these things FIRST, before releasing the drug for immediate use?
Thus, we can all see that his "advice" is actually a silly excuse for blatant refusal to save African lives. he prefers they all die, as many as possible! Now that is shocking!

I doubt if an Islamic, boko haramic country which we all vilify, can do worse than this!

so, Obama is not ready to help us, he prefers we all die..... or wait, he said he has a "palliative" (some thing to cushion/reduce the effect of suffering) of our death from Ebola! Lets listen o!!
Palliative

As a palliative, President Obama announced plans by the US to spend $110 million annually, for three to five years, totall ing $330-$550 million, to help African nations develop rapid reaction peacekeeping forces..

See what l am saying?
A "rapid reaction force" is needed to forestall trouble in member nations. for example, if say Nigeria is being overrun by Boko haram or if there is a coup in Ghana, the "military rapid reaction force" would be called into action immediately, to fight and normalize the situation.

We asked for EBOLA ANTIDOTE .... Obama said "NO", but offered us "MILITARY SETUP " instead!
Hmmm.... this is getting more interesting!
"Africom" was set-up in Africa, by the same Obama, to fight its wars on perceived enemies within Africa. Thus, turning Africa into one of its forward-operating base, where it can launch aggression against African and non-African states!
But thats not enough, we need to set-up more "military structures' says Mr. Obama, that is the MOST URGENT THING we Africans need right now!

And dont forget, it is America's military industrial complex that will supply the weapons (and we will have t pay for it or even borrow to fund it!), so America stands to benefit a lot from this instruction!

Now, if you still dont get it, Mr. Obama is saying, in Governor Oshiomole's voice: Africans, ...GO And Die (GAD)! shocked shocked
Obama is saying l dont give a hoot about how many thousands have died or how many more thousands of you are going to die, I am only interested in selling military weapons to you!

Well, trust me, Obama will get his wishes! Many thousands of Nigerians will die form Ebola in the next four weeks or so, judging by the escalating level of cross-infection. That is Obama's first wish for us.
Obama will also get his second wish: GEJ will borrow $3 Billion to buy weapons from Mr. Obama, to fight Boko Haram (No wonder some think that the Boko guys are actually be funded and trained via a CIA operation, afterall, America benefits from spreading war all over!)

If by now, we dont know our "true friends" from our "hidden enemies", then we actually are no tfit to live and we deserve to die in thousands, as Obama has wished
.

Less l forget, its not his fault, it is the position we put ourselves. Too bad.
Let us all fold our hands and die one after another, like some infected poultry during the bird flu scourge! Too bad.

But it is also within our power, to THINK and ACT by deploying all our resources and intellect at this Ebola scourge.
As a nation, we can use this unfolding episode to "change our history for good, forever.
We can let future generations of those that will remain, "wish a prayer" for us, knowing that we responded with courage and determination and we changed the course of our destiny.
We can get to WORK immediately ..... or do we prefer to die silently, just as Obama wished for us?
The choice is ours, only ours.

Somebody should tell Mr. Obama, that we will remember his "advice", when the time comes! That he can bet on.
Health › Re: Ebola Latest: US Rejects Nigeria’s Request For Trial Drug by lastpage: 9:38am On Aug 09, 2014
But what did Obama say, despite all these?

redcap: The United States of America, yesterday, dashed the hope of an early cure for Ebola Virus victims in Nigeria when it refused to share the trial drug with Nigeria. US President Barak Obama says it would be premature to share the experimental drug with Africa.

The Federal Government had earlier reached out to the United States.....to request for the drug for treatment of EVD affected persons in Nigeria, but President Obama turned down the request, saying it would be far more beneficial to focus on prevention instead..
So, Obama now thinks this is the best time to lecture us on "prevention"?
We are talking about thousand dead, tens-of-thousands infected and dying..... and we need to save their lives right away!
But Obama feels they should be allowed to die "first" ... while we "focus on prevention"? Is he insane?
Is Obama telling Africans that we cannot concurrently TREAT and PREVENT at the same time?

Minister of Health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu and Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran.....that the Federal Government was awaiting the response of the request it made to the CDC on Tuesday.

redcap: Addressing the 50 African leaders at the US-African Summit in Washington, President Obama stated that it is “premature” to send an experimental medicine for the treatment of Ebola to West Africa, as he lacked enough information to approve the drug that was already being used on two American aid workers whose conditions were said to have improved by varying degrees

“We’ve got to let the science guide us and I don’t think all the information is in on whether this drug is helpful. The Ebola virus, both currently and in the past, is controllable if you have a strong public health infrastructure in place.

“The countries affected are the first to admit that what’s happened here is the public health systems have been overwhelmed. They weren’t able to identify and then isolate cases quickly enough.

“As a consequence, it spread more rapidly than has been typical with the periodic Ebola outbreaks that occurred previously,” he remarked.
I hope we Africans see how we are ridiculing ourselves? Especially of those of you Nigerians who feel more "Americane" than the American itself?
Even Obama, with African roots, feels we dont deserve to live!

Recall that the same Obama did not express any negative concerns when just TWO AMERICANS were about to die, he allowed the 'experimental drug' to be used right away!
he did not remember any "SCIENCE" by then but when tens-of-thousands of Africans are dying, he suddenly became a "science lecturer"! huh?

So, now it has suddenly become "premature", in Obama's thinking, to save "African lives", right?
Anyone with even the tiniest of "grey matter" would easily see through the wickedness of this act of Obama but lik el have said many times, ITS NOT HIS FAULT AT ALL, we sold ourselves cheap, to his type!

Next thing now, he would probably start blackmailing African, especially Nigerian govt, like a wannabe terrorist, if they are to be given the drug!
This is the same country that we consider as a friendly nation, right?
I know some stewpid Nigerians wont "see and read between the lines", they are just too daft to take note

Background:
1.) Africans have failed Africa! Our leaders, our professionals and our citizenry have ALL failed woefully. We are now in a situation where our SURVIVAL is based solely on the GENEROSITY of "Wolves in Sheep clothing", so-called "friends" who are worse that declared enemies! But they are not to blame, we are the architect of our own doom since we have neglected our own development and ruined our own lives with corruption!

2.) As it is, there should be a total ban on foreign travel for ALL Nigerians, both rich and poor, mighty and lowly, ...for two reasons
(a) Travelling is the easiest way to transfer the disease to other nations who are yet to be infected
(b) Those who have the responsibility to develop our Research and industrial base, our Universities and education system, our health sectors, e.t.c but chose to LOOT THE MONEY and use it to buy houses abroad, MUST NOT be allowed to run-away from Nigeria! They must partake in the mess they created. From the President to Ministers, to Retired Generals and thieving public servants, ...ITS PAY-DAY for EVERYBODY.

3.) The disease has already infected a sizeable number of Africans, over a thousand had died and many more are in the throes of death right now and many more will still die! So, this Ebola scourge qualifies to be called a pandemic but the good/bad thing is that it is ONLY AFRICANS that are CURRENTLY being killed! America, Obama and the American company know this as a FACT.
Thus, we asked that the experimental drugs which had already been administered on TWO AMERICANS, and showed "promise", be extended to save the lives of many Africans and Nigerians in particular.

Did they get any apologies for what is now happening in their country? Nonsense, man! That whole country of Liberia could not be blamed for the man's blunder and for Nigeria's failure to act sooner against EBOLA being imported into their country. The President of Liberia and its government are having a crisis and have no adequate resources to contain such. So each one to his own. Nigerians are just good at complaining and blaming everyone. MKSON: Several years ago, Ebola virus erupted in Africa, killing thousands without restrain or cure. The medical world was perplexed. A great man of God by the name John G Lake came to the rescue. Laying hands on infected people who were not to be touched. The slightest contact with any secretion from an infected person is all it takes for transmission. But with bare hands, cleaning secretion and curing every victim, John G Lake along with his Holy Ghost filled team, brought to an abrupt end the spread of the deadly virus. When asked by the medical world how he did it. He had this to say: I have the life of God in me, every virus that comes in contact with me dies. He asked them to get an innoculum from an infected person, observe same under a microscope to ascertain viral activities in it. They did and confirmed living and multiplying virus. He then asked them to put the innoculum on his palm and observe under the microscope. This time there were no more activities. ALL WERE DEAD upon contact with him. What a life! Every child of God has this life! He that has the Son has this life! That higher life that put out Ebola in the days of John G Lake will do the same through you in your day! At the Name of Jesus, Ebola will bow out! Stop the fear! Let this message of hope and faith go viral and the Ebola viral spread will stop! Don't disdain the ever living words of Jesus: And these signs shall follow them that believe, in my Name, they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing (Ebola virus included) it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hand on the sick (those already infected) and they shall recover - Mark 16:15-18.
John G Lake and team are long gone! But I am here, you are here! We can save our world!
We have the life of God in us!
Spread the faith!
Stop the fear!
Spread the life!
Stop the death!
Yes you can!
The world belongs to you!

Only God in his mercies will save us all from this deadly disease.
You are a bloody LIAR!

The two in question are Spanish citizens LIVING AND WORKING (on humanitarian basis) IN LIBERIA AND GUINEA..... which is where they contracted the disease.

As a responsible Govt, the Spanish govt flew them out to Spain for better treatment.

Spanish: The Ebola virus has spread to Europe. A Spanish priest infected with the virus in Liberia arrived in Madrid for treatment today. 75 year old Miguel Pajares (pictured above) had been working as a missionary in Liberia when he tested positive for Ebola at the San Jose de Monrovia Hospital in Monrovia. A medically-equipped military jet was sent to Liberia yesterday to repatriate Pajares.

A Spanish nun named Paciencia Melgar working in Equatorial Guinea has also tested positive to Ebola and will also be repatriated to Spain.

The priest and the nun belonged to a Catholic humanitarian group that runs hospitals around the world, and had been helping to treat patients infected with the virus when they were infected.

Calm down, l feel you as well.

I noticed a few things which l think are very UNHEALTHY for us as NATION and a PEOPLE:
I have quoted a few people to illustrate my points!

1.) It is only in an "association of foolish people", will EVERYONE AGREE on EVERYTHING!
It is in the 'divergence of opinion' that knowledge is shared and wisdom assimilated. Dont expect everyone to agree with your opinion, the foolish man at times, is the one who will recognize what the wise and experts have overlooked.

2.) That someone does not praise the military is not an indication of being a supporter of Boko haram or wishing evil for our gallant men in arms. At times, it is the "frustration" of what is going on that causes certain reactions from certain people.... and they could just be right!

3.) Except you are dishonest to yourself, you will agree that we could have managed the Boko Haram Insurgency BETTER! like everything we do, we do it well but we leave the best and most important part to the last day! The more we "expose" shenanigans in our military and civil service, the better our services will get. We cant all be "YES-MEN" like Reuben Abatti! (No pun intended).

4.) All of us cannot join the military and the fact that somebody is not in the military, does not mean such person is a coward or inferior or does not contribute anything to the society! Military men get sick and gets treated by Doctors, they have family at home that get schooled by teachers, get paid by banksters, get fed by farmers and get sold groceries by shop operators! Everyone is expected to contribute their own fare-share to society in their AREAS OF COMPETENCE AND SPECIALITY! So quit asking people to go join the Army, just to prove they are not cowards or contributing something.

5.) When others raise an "alarming point" like "gallantsoldier" is doing, what we need to do is CALM DOWN and ask him to provide EVIDENCE of his claims. It is on the provided evidence that we should "comment", not attack his person or start using abusive words on him. I tell you, the person that exposes corruption is more beneficial than the person that "flows with the tide".
I understand that we all are in the same boat, as far as this war is concerned but we can and are not expected to contribute the same thing or speak the same words or act alike.

@gallantsoldier has witnessed 'corruption' and want changes,
@brownlords
has witnessed 'sacrifice' by our boys' and wants encouragement,

does it not occur to you that both of you have the same objective but you only difference is "approach", which is not necessarily wrong but just different?

@Aresa mentioned soldiers being drafted to Osun politics. Is it a "false claim" or why are you attacking him for saying so? Even the Minister for Defense, Musiliu Obanikoro said so with his mouth a few days back and we can see the soldiers on ground! tell me, why not use the Police, *why use soldiers for "state elections" if not a miscarriage of priority and political brigandry, when we have enough policemen to do the job?
*Is it false that we have "avoidably" lost too many people to Boko?
*Is it false that soldiers are complaining about kitting?
*Is it false that there have been "untrue" claims from the military?
*Is it false that Nigerians have been lied to, over an dover again, concerning this Boko palaver?

Why then do we attack those that "express the truth" as they know it?
Are we saying we should all become "sheep-people" (sheeple), unthinking and swallowing whatever we are told?
Is that how to contribute to national development in a state of emergency?

Dont forget, there are traitors and saboteurs within the military itself, who are selling military kits and weapons to the enemy boko Haram, or is that a lie as well? It is these ones we must expose and shame, so that our boys can go into battle with confidence.

Now, lets get this clear, "discouragement and saying the truth" are NOT the same thing!
We can say the truth and still encourage our troops, infact, by highlighting their needs and ensuring they get it, we are encouraging them the more, than merely heaping praises, for real or imagined successes!
Let us encourage our troops, let them know that we are solidly behind them 110%, let us offer opinions and advice ... but in a constructive way! Let us volunteer information that could help them strategically, especially on movement and activities of Boko members in our communities.

Long Live Nigeria, Long live Nigerian Army, Long Live Patriots who would not be silent in the face of "avoidable mistakes", Long live 'Die-hards', your encouragement of our troops shall not go unnoticed!
Like Ebola, like Boko Haram, we shall defeat them, God willing.
Let us sheath our "verbal swords" and stick together as one.

Infact, you stated that the fact that the problem was most women chose to HOLD-ON TO THE KIDS OF A PREVIOUS MARRIAGE, KNOWING FULLY WELL THEY WANT TO "MOVE-ON" .

So I am wondering exactly how that relates to this.

But you would agree with me that in "most cases", (we are looking at like 90%) fathers DONT get custody even if they fight like mad to get it .....mostly because in the West, it is the father who gets chased out of the house (where the family is "settled" - children schooling nearby, friends, church/mosque, e.t.c) and most judges would reason "taking the children out of their comfort zone" will upset their stable life".

So by default, mothers get the kids. wink wink

What are the aerosolised organisms abeg?
From Aerosol spray : Like our mosquito fleet, e.g Sheltox or Raid; When liquid is atomised, in very very tiny particles such that it looks like "air".

The Ebola virus, which are also very microscopic, can now "RIDE" on this tiny air particles by adhering to them.

For example, When someone with Ebola Virus sneezes, (if you've ever witnessed the force with which such sneeze gets ejected from the nose!), the virus gets ejected along, like a "spray", into the environment and can float around as air carries the "sneeze" around.

Such action is similar to how "pressurized gas" in a fleet (aerosol container), carries the liquid mosquito repellent/killer around the house and it can deposit them on flying insects like mosquitoes, ..and kill us them! shocked shocked shocked

I hope this helps?

It is NOT "choosing to re-marry" that is the problem, divorced or not, she is also entitled to love!

The problem lies in the fact that "most women chose to HOLD-ON TO THE KIDS OF A PREVIOUS MARRIAGE, KNOWING FULLY WELL THEY WANT TO "MOVE-ON" AND THE FORMER HUSBAND SI DESPERATE TO HAVE HIS CHILDREN BUT DUE TO GREED AND LOVE OF MONEY (CHILD MAINTENANCE, WHICH IS HARDLY SPENT TO THE TUNE OF 15% ON THE CHILDREN), THEY CHOSE TO BELABOUR THEMSELVES WITH THE CHILDREN WHILE MARRYING THE NEXT PAEDOPHILE AVAILABLE!

They cant take care of the children but when marriage breaks-up, they quickly "pack the children to their side" like the quarrel was between the father and his Kids, as well! https://uk.news.yahoo.com/man-killed-girlfriends-child-deadly-kick-140042453.html#2d96xEx

Yahoo: A man who kicked his girlfriend's young daughter so hard she was thrown six feet across the room has been jailed for life and told he must serve at least 17 years for her murder.
Dean Harris, 20, hurt Amina Agboola so badly that her liver was torn in two, jurors at Cambridge Crown Court heard.
Harris, who had been going out with the two-year-old's mother for five months, killed Amina because he was frustrated at her soiling herself, prosecutors said.
The little girl was found by paramedics lying "like a rag doll" at her home in Scott Drive, Yaxley, near Peterborough.

Harris, who was found guilty of murder earlier this year, was left alone with the toddler last November despite social worker warnings that he had a history of domestic violence and was dangerous.

Amina's mother, Sarah Racqueman, was earlier given a suspended sentence after being acquitted of causing or allowing her daughter's death but convicted on two other charges of neglect in connection with other children.
Detective Inspector Alan Page, of Cambridgeshire Police, said: "This was a horrendous case.
"There can be no justification for using violence against any child and Harris will have to deal with the consequences of his actions for the rest of his life.
"While no sentence can ease the pain felt by Amina's family, hopefully they will now be able to start moving on with their lives."

Amina's father, Reuben Agboola, said afterwards he was "pleased" with the sentence.
"However the grief feels like it has no end," he said.
"I think about Amina constantly. I still cry every day.
"I go through the motions of living but inside I am somewhere else thinking about my daughter all the time.
"No one understands the pain except those people who are experiencing it.
"My heart reaches out to every parent on earth who is suffering the loss of a child."
And little girl is of a Nigerian father, if you notice!
Its not by force that you must hold on to the children/child, if you dont have the time and attention span to take care of them, just to punish the father and collect extra money that end up on clothes and jewellery!

dont8: Why are most of our Military Officers so aggressive nowadays, it's a cause for concern for the authorities.
It is a carry-over from the days of "Military Dictatorship" whence they see themselves as LORD to only themselves..

...and see civilians as "BLOODY" sub-specimen to be dehumanised and brutalized.
This is a career and policy-ingrained behaviour in ALL our ARMED FORCES!

Just imagine, killing each other over "girl friends"?
They are not killing each other over who will #BringBackOurGirls first or who will #bringShekausHead first!

Again, imagine if they could do this to each other in public (not a war situation), what do you think they would or could do to an UNARMED CIVILIAN?

Only Nigerian Military ...... So indisciplined ....yet they are the first ti try to discipline a Civilian!
Charity they say, begins at "home".

Mtschew!
