abeyluve: Becs what we find difficult in Naija, they find it easy over there nd when they come back their cert is more prefered. Let him go nd sit 4 GCE nd pass his MTHAre you remotely aware that even in Nigeria, it is NOT ALL courses that require a Credit in mathematics, to qualify for admission? Is anyone who chose such course and completes it in a Nigerian University, not suitable for NYSC call-up? I think you are just jealous of those guys that schooled abroad! ![]() Ofcourse, they dont have ASUU unending strike, they dont participate in Cultism, Exam expo is almost impossible, bribing Lecturers will land both in jail and study-under-hunger is not their bane! Abee79: *2005 (had been driving for two years then): Thick traffic; then suddenly there was this convoy of mobile police cars escorting a VIP. I managed to get right behind the last escort and they kept paving the way in traffic like Moses and the Red Sea! Andrenaline was in full supply. THEN WITHOUT WARNING, I REAR-ENDED THE MOBILE POLICE HILUX!!! Smashed my left head light. They stopped, inspected their car, no damage. I was about to pee on myself then one of them motioned to me 'encouragingly', "Let's go!". I revved up my Toyota Camry wagon and continued the chase!!!!!If not for the bolded part, l will have sworn you are "the guy" that forced his way in front of me on 3rd mainland Bridge one morning, when l was following those Police Escort! The guy almost ran me into the water, just to force his way behind the escort vehicles. I cursed him (and it stuck! ) because not more than a minute later, the last escort vehicle braked suddenly and my guy rammed them wella! The way they got down angrily and dragged him out for a "cool beating", l just shifted sideways a bit and drove-off quickly, thanking God for that "replacement" because it could have been me! ![]() Lastpage! |
Mine was a very very bad experience! I nearly had a heart attack and really, it was very traumatic for me, for many months to follow. In summary: I bought a brand new V-Boot Mercedes Benz in those days (funny the thing looks very ugly to me now, anytime l see them! ) for my wedding. That has always been my dream; not to borrow someone's vehicle for my wedding.I took three weeks leave from work and just three days to the wedding, l was "recalled" to go back to work briefly for just like two or three hours (I am I.T. back then and there was something they need my help about, ...urgently). So, l was behind this Peugeot 504 station Wagon and we were approaching a traffic light. He sped-up to cross-over before it goes RED and l "turbo" my sleek automatic-gear injector-machine (that car literally jumps forward if you flatten the accelerator and you can feel it give you a slap on your back, as it surges forward!) to follow suit. But alas, the guy driving the front vehicle got "born-again" and changed his mind about racing that Traffic light, ...just when he was on the light and l have just turbo-down my accelerator to follow him through! He stopped with a screech and l used my own car to "shift him forward" across the junction! Well, all my front side, from lights, bonnet to engine, was reduced to a crumble! I cursed those who made the rear-chassis of that Peugeot 504, it was as hard as a rock! Nothing even do the vehicle! ![]() One woman driving-by, burst out hysterically: Yeeepa, Gbeese le'leyi o! Oga'e ma lu'epa ni!! (this is big debt! Your master will kill you for this one) .......instead of offering me consolation! Now, three days to marriage? Devil is a liar!!I just continue to do "buy and replace" for every damaged part of the vehicle, including a new engine. But to God be the glory, the vehicle did the wedding, by fire by force (but im cost me money no be small.... and the vehicle was never as good as the same again) Lastpage! Lesson: Never follow a vehicle to run the traffic lights, if you must.... make sure your feet is already on your breaks and your attention is 100% . ![]() |

Okay, truthfully, its always stressed by "Mummy" Lastpage! )Second, it prevents them from using food as a diagnosis for stress (which leads to overweight, which is what women hate most!) Maybe it's just the "feminazi-stuff", afterall it was developed by "men"! ![]() |
All these silly people complaining about "taking pictures when accidents happen", should just STFU! All of us cannot sleep with our heads facing the same side. Some will help bring pure water to help victims who can be resuscitated immediately Some would use their phone to help contact ambulance and other emergency services I have helped lift people to nearest hospital in my private car from scene of an accident Some would take pictures to alert the public to what really happened so that family members can know where to go for missing loved ones Some would just drive-by and come here to complain that the pictures you took contain "Reg numbers"! ![]() Some would just be looking for "holes" to point out in any and verything... But the thing is: LET EVERYONE JUST DO SOMETHING TO BE HELPFUL when an accident happens. Lastpage! |
IKEMBA NNEWI: That should happen......watch Lagos Crash...Yea.... Let them "destinate" to Onitsha Port.... and then they will need to Truck the goods BY ROAD to their Stalls at Alaba, Idumota, Aspamda and Ladipo! This Lagos must crash, by fire by force! Carsonv: E.g. If u sleep with someone's wife, the result may look like this: you won't get married, your business or income source crashes, you contract some terminal disease, nothing works for u, no more progress...one spot every year, your children will be wayward, your car will get accident, your wife will die etc. The list is endless.True Talk! Thing is, whether you accept it or not, when you sleep with another man's wife (or husband), YOU ARE PLACING A CURSE ON YOUR OWN DESTINY........ one way or another. When the effect starts manifesting in your life, you may have actually forgotten about the deed, as it happened a long time ago! ![]() To before warned, is to take heed. Lastpage! BTW: What about the married woman who opens her leg for another man to phuck her? isn't that shameful? In my place, if a married woman gets bleeped by another man and then goes back to lie with her husband, except she does not attempt to conceive again, she will either confess first or die in the process of giving birth, as the baby will be stuck between that her legs! ![]() I bet you, our ancient traditions had ways of checkmating this vices except that "civilization and modernity" have been used as excuse to tarnish our tradition. |

fabulous4u: your foolishness is legendary. ^^^^You are a slowpoke, just like your foolish leaders! Tell me, where will the electric power to run the plant come from? Just answer the question and stop ranting like you are high on local gin. Indeed, MO.r.ON just took on a new meaning! ![]() I hope you are using one of the forty laptops, right? Arrow! Lastpage! BTW: What govt privatised was the "distribution sector" of the electricity sector, .... not Power Generation! As long as we can only muster 2,000MegaWatts as a country, l dont see any Nissan or Toyota ASSEMBLING (not even manufacturing) bicycles in Nigeria, its a pipe dream from an "local Gin-infested brain" . |
Kachi188: Not too long ago, we announced a new National Automobile Policy. I am happy to note that the policy is now attracting great interest in our country with the consequential benefit for job creation and savings for our nation. The announcement by the Nissan Corporation that it will be investing in our country by way of manufacturing its brand of cars in Nigeria is very heart warming. With the confirmation that Nigeria ranks fourth in the world as the fastest Return on Investment (RoI), I hereby call on other world class automobile manufacturers and other businesses to also begin their journey to establish factories in Nigeria as we have a well trained and hardworking work force, at home and abroad, ready to add value to the growth of businesses and our country. GEJI am really disappointed in this "drunken" Leader, once again! If some illiterate Soldier-President made the above assertions, l will excuse him but this is coming from a supposedly "Doctorate Degree holder" of a Nigerian University, for crying out aloud! ![]() How is it possible for Nissan or any automobile company to start manufacturing vehicles in NIGERIA OF TODAY? Anyone who has seen pictures or video of vehicle MANUFACTURING/assembly plants (even if unlike me you have not even entered inside one), would quickly realize that almost everything is AUTOMATED and ELECTRICITY DRIVEN. Now, for a Nigeria that cannot even power homes (l hear power generation is something like 2,000MW for a population of 160-million people!) for four hours in a single day, is the President going to "BORROW" electricity from Ghana or will Nissan build a Power Plant as well, just to produce vehicles in Nigeria? Can somebody in his "Forty laptop Crew" remind him that FACTORIES NEED AND USE ELECTRICITY TO FUNCTION? ![]() I hate it when we publicly announce our foolishness to foreigners and l detest it even more when it comes from those in power! This nonsense of building cars in Nigeria ended when Volkswagen of Nigeria (VON) and other "vehicle ASSEMBLY" plants dies in Nigeria, some decades ago. One might ask, "who is fooling who"? Is this Nissan, fooling the President or the President, fooling his dumb followers? Either way, it does not wash one bit. If he is not dishonest, let him just focus his attention on one single issue during his 2 + 4 + X-years of Leadership: ELECTRICITY GENERATION. Solve that and let the next administration tackle another issue. Multi-tasking does not seem to be located anywhere near the medulla Oblongata of our Leaders, so let then just focus on one project at a time. Lastpage!

adamooye5: Later that evening the mother of two typed a message on her mobile saying: 'Thank you for a wonderful evening. Only wish we could do this more often'.So, it is an "ordinary date", right? If it is "ORDINARY", why did she not inform her husband that she will be having an "ordinary date" with a male friend? Again, she wished they could do THIS more often!... That "THIS" can mean anything and when it comes to SECRET affairs between men and women, that "this", if kept secret usually means SEX! .... and that explains why she wants Mooooorrrre! ![]() But the most annoying part of the whole story is when people do EVIL/BAD THINGS ..... and dont get caught, it is fine But When they get caught, even serial armed robbers will tell you IT IS MY FIRST TIME! Its ALWAYS their first time, right? ![]() Anyway, good riddance to bad rubbish. if you want to cheat, just get out of the marriage, finito! Its your right to gallivant about but it is also your duty not to emotionally harm your spouse who trusts you and hold you in high esteem. Lastpage! BTW: Just reverse the situation and let it be the man that was caught, this same woman will make life HELL for him. |
I guess all these Nollywood actors now come to Nairaland to create topic for themselves (like this one) but dont want us to know how vain they are, when they show and tell us silly things about themselves. uken73: But op, these are 2010 pics of the said car which you had in your previous posts. Why don't you post current pics of the car.Kudos to you jare! Abeg, go and dash people in Motherless babies home, they would use it to transport whatever donations they receive! ![]() |
Oahray: You guys advocating the 'saturday-for-sabbath-or-face-the-consequences' theory need to know this. True, Sunday isnt the sabbath day, but Saturday isnt the Sabbath day either. The Jews used the moon for their dating and not the calendar we use today. The first day of the month was the 'day of the new moon' (Ezekiel 46:1; Isa 66:23), and wasn't counted as a working day... The first working day (1st day of the week) was the day after a new moon or a sabbath day. Count 6 working days... The seventh was the sabbath. That way the sabbath always fell on the 8th day, 15th day, 22nd day and 29th day of the month (note that it is 'day' not 'date'). If you doubt this read your scriptures and try looking for one sabbath day mentioned that didnt fall on any of these days.Let me "conclude" on what you have said: Jesus Christ has ABOLISHED THE SABBATH DAY PRACTICE. Since this is about 'christianity', did anyone of you not read it in your Bible where the Pharisees l think, wanted to "test his knowledge" of God and in doing so, trap him? Jesus was asked whether it was okay to "work on the Sabbath day" (Knowing that the Law of Moses says they should not work on Sabbath day). But Jesus, in his heavenly wisdom, responded by throwing a poser at them: WHICH ONE of you, if you have 100 sheep and just one of them fell into a well on a Sabbath day, will not attempt to retrieve it? of course, none of them signalled they would leave it there just because its a sabbath day, .... showing the hypocrisy surrounding their charade of a sabbath day! ..And by so doing, Jesus has shown that it is not wrong to work on a sabbath day (any kind of work, even phucking na work now, abi?) and by "ALLOWING WORK" on a sabbath, the idea of "sabbath" itself becomes OBSOLETE! Thank God for Jesus joor, He's my sharpest dude. ![]() Lastpage! |
And Jesus said, if u have no sin...be the first to throw a stone to this woman..I believe u all are conversant with that story in the bible...we are all humans and in one stage or the other in our lives...we have all made mistakes. OP...the most important thing is that u have acknowledged ur mistakes and u have really turned against em...majority of men here all lie to get attention from ladies..and we all know very well that these ladies are also the cause of this lies...but that's not the issue here! This is my advice to u: get a pen and a paper...write a heart touching letter to her..stating all this facts here...tell her every truth against all the lies u told her in the past...then @ the end...let her know that u are not telling her this truths for her to stay back with you cos u know u have really wronged her....tell her that if she wants to move on with her life...that though it won't be easy with u bt that u will understand...still let her know that u love her and that u will be happy if she can accept u as the true u so u both can fix and make up all the loop holes since u said she's ya fiancee! I believe that if she really loves you...she will forgive u...love is all abt sacrifice and forgiveness! Wish ya all d best!
WRONG ADVICE! Never put ANYTHING that portrays you in bad light .... in WRITTEN FORM! Does she normally go out on leg? with a car? by Bus? - Any tire marks around the period she disappeared? Any strange face noticed by anyone (the most trivial of info has cracked some nutty cases!) - Does she have a "male friend" since coming to Naija? If yes, chat him up properly (he is not a suspect, at least not yet...) - Go through the clothes she wore, check the pockets and her handbag, for small papers, lookout of address scribblings. - make more copies of her pcitures and post at strategic places like Bus stops, junctions, near beer parlor and "joints", near Cinemas, casinos, e.t.c (very public places). - USe twitter and FBook (l hate those platforms! ) to disseminate this search to as many as possible. - if possible, give a copy of her pictures to officers on patrol on major highways, who knows, she may just be "travelling" to somewhere! ![]() I pray she is found but lets get to work .... as we pray along. Its a COMPLETE MISS! I do understand that some living "abroad" cant avoid it (socks) and each time l see them, they remind me of some "Ojuju-Calarbar" as my son would say! ![]() I mean, such dressing looks utterly ridiculous! But if someone does it in Nigeria (with our warm weather!), l can only conclude that such person is insane because even those in the village, even a masquerade (Eegun Ijebu) knows not to don a socks on native wear. By the way, how did we come about that item called "socks"? Is it not the Oyinbo (Onyebeeke) that brought it down to us? They, had A NEED FOR IT, that is why they use it, .... to keep their feet warm and it later got accessorized and funky! ![]() Anyone with a little sense of fashion (you dont have to be a fashion freak, mind you) knows that some things just dont go together. For example, l see guys wear checked Shirt and checked/lined/patterned Tie! If you must wear such checked/lined shirt, please know that it is a "dress sense" that you must put on a PLAIN TIE. Socks on any native attire is a No-No! But there is a trick which l use when yaawa wan gazz: If you can get your trousers/bottoms of the native to completely cover and eclipse the socks such that no one knows you are putting on a socks, then game-on! noblejames: Politics aside, I mean PDP or APC whatever, I'm just thinking about the woman at the center, I mean God works in ways humans cannot comprehend and that is why He is God. Come to think of it, what if this woman was obedient to the law and stayed at home? Whatever that is going on now will not come in existence. Another thing, what if Osho saw her and had pitiful wish on her and said woman don't do this again I understand you are widow so be careful go your way, nobody would have known that he met her. What if the PDP didn't make it a political issue? And what if there is nothing like social media to broadcast what happened? Just because Osho said go and die, which is just like a common language among Nigerians, I mean an everyday language. Now go and die has become "go and live". My advice is that whatever that happens on our way we should wait and see what God wants to workout of it. "For all things work for good to them that love God and .............
God bless u and bless u and bless..I tld some one dis now..the ways of God are not the ways of men..God can change our lives in anyway he chooses..wats ur name on fbk let's be frnds..I like pple like u..mine is smith iceboxberry..asap
Hmmm.... First, let me say l appreciate both of you above. I can relate with your post in every sense THOUGH l beg to disagree or hold a divergent angle to your own perspective on the issue. I am going to do these in the same line of "What if's" that you both used: I know we Nigerians are very emotional, sentimental and religious and we like to take solace in "Na so God want am" but.... What if Edo state (and Nigeria as a whole) has a welfare system whereby small stipend is paid to widows like this woman, to take care of their needs, will she have need to do road-side hawking? What if the market stalls in Edo state have not been allocated to cronies and friends who resell them at exorbitant prices, would this widow be in a position to be told to "Go and Die" as a road-side trader?! What if the widow actually felt so bad about this "personal insult and encouragement to suicide" ... and she "Go and died" (suicide)? What if poeple like Oshiomole, who wield power for the sake of power, have empathy and sympathy for the millions of widows in their state and have put in place measures to assist then financially, would it have taken "social media-opprobium" for Oshiomole to know his statement was acutely wicked? What if this woman has been offered a job by Edo sate Govt, before this episode, will we be here praising Oshiomole for his "Go and Die largesse"? What if the Governors convoy has run-her-over as some Govt convoys have done to some people, will you be thanking God for her life now? What if we live in a society where crime and criminals like thieving Politicians are severely punished, dont you think Nigeria's resources are enough to cater for such widows for life? after all, less endowed nations take good care of their widows and veterans while ours die in poverty? Finally, what happens to the other million-widows who are not "fortunate enough" to be rapaciously assaulted by the "Oga at the Top" ..and given a token for taking it on the cheek? Should they await their turn (or verbal assault) and be disobedient to street-trading laws or should they just die of hunger? Success is not built on a platform of "trial and error" but by a continuous application of focused and guided "policies" which can only be implemented by those in power. God gave us ...and made us "higher animals", with superior intelligence than Goats, for a reason: He needs to be allowed to rest (after 7days work) so that we can do some "basic thinking and decision making" ......ON OUR OWN! Lastpage! |
Niyinficient: know this: CRITICS DON'T MAKE THE BEST LEADER! Let us be constructive in our criticism of any thing. Make a critic a leader and he will do worse, let us learn from our mistakes as Oshiomole has done and let us commend any good work done by anyone without bias or sentiment, neither nepotism nor tribalism! God Bless One Nigeria. Make una sleep well! Nigerians of Life!!!Hmmmm....... Omo Naija! ![]() Try and read-up just a little about the background of OSHIOMOLE ....as NLC Leader and tell me if you still agree that "CRITICS DONT MAKE A GOOD LEADER"! oshiomole is an epitome of "good leadership", right? ![]() I no fit shout o, since you included your "Detailed C.V." in your post! ![]() Lastpage! |
