I can relate. I've experienced worse with this Gen Z people. You'll call a candidate who is looking for job and the candidate's phone will be on standby DND. One gave me an excuse that she doesn't like calls. She then went on to say that the recruiter is supposed to text her instead of calling. The one that rejected Salary of 80k because no staff bus and the location is Costain to Marina. Funnily enough, the candidate is not working but according to her, she's looking for a job. They want to earn big whilst doing nothing. Invite them for physical interview and they'll say "can't it be virtual?"

Salary blackmail is that act that makes an employer thinks your salary is too much, a gift or just a leakage in the company’s purse. Believe me or not, most employers groan at the point of paying salaries and I understand.

However, making an employee feel they are being favoured for being paid salary is a huge concern. No wonder people don’t get pay rise when they stay too long in an organization.
If you don’t work for your salary, it is a gift from the employer to you. However, if you justify your pay, be bold to ask for your pay.
Be honest, do you justify your pay? If not, close your eyes!

Please joblanders, I need your advice.
Currently, I am a duty/maintenance manager in a hotel and I earn about 100k monthly, the job is stressful as I only spend a night in my house every week, most times I sleep in the hotel because I work at night. I am not complaining about the stress for now, because I am not married.

I got a job as a graduate in a State Internal Revenue Agency, same salary. But I want to seek advice from people who may have worked there before.
Do they pay well?
What are the benefits attached to the job as I enjoy, service charge, HMO, 13th month, Paid leave
As a graduate, what are your thoughts?
If it was less than 100k, would you advise me to go for it?
