Why use foul words all because you want to make a point... You should indeed learn how to argue intelligently.

And by the way, Qibla is just for direction and that is why all believers all over the world face d same direction. Muslims don't pray to the qibla unlike those who choose what they created as an intermediary BTW God and themselves. How interesting?

You are deflating your pent-up anger, she?

first, tell me the meaning of the word 'Ogidan' before you start the British link.

grin

nobody needs another person's worldview to be happy.

That's for sure.

I believe you don't have to like what I like. Keep being yourself.

your likes will reward you.
gringrin grin it's more of disgust than anger.

Lol! Is that a rhetorical question? You don't know what ogidan is? But of course, I am not interested in any British/yoruba connection, I only said so cus I can if I wanted to...It's easy to connect one people to another people by picking out words to revolutionize

Ok, so you are saying believing that hebrews are your ancestors makes you happy? It's not about historical truths but "what makes me happy", "what I like". You see where you getting it wrong?

History and a people's origins is not "what makes me happy" or " what I like" but what records say, cultural and linguist features can also be effective

You came across as a an impressive smart guy who is very conversant with world history and cultures....an expert of some sort. Are you not?

Please go and read about the Priesthood of Aaron and the connection to Irunmole. Like i said in other post, im no expert on these things but im not dumb either...i pick bits and pieces along way. They took esoterism out of Judaism and coined it Qabbalah. My guy, why do you think im telling fulaman and calimari to come to Yoruba if ghey want to relearn their history and culture? In fact, Jews dont have their authetic sprituality anymore, they must study Yoruba as well if they want to reenact the rites of Aaron. True talk my brother. Yoruba spirituality is deep, everybody have lost their divine template template but us.

I am not the one that speaks, the resources at my disposal will always speak.

I will always align myself with the truth of the Yoruba tradition and be clear and transparent. cheesy

gringrin now I don't know how to reply to that.

What resources? Revolutionary meaning to words? This is what anybody can do when trying to link a people with another people. You would be surprised how I can link yoruba origin to the British Isles

What will really get people's attention and make even Olorisas applaud is to show how our hebrew language turned into a Niger - Congo language similar to neighboring languages of Igala, Igbo and Edoid languages.
How we lost knowledge of Yahweh and resorted to veneration of 401 Irunmoles
How we lost knowledge of the mosaic law
How we lost knowledge of our Semetic mythology that we wrote in the Tanakh(Bible) and chose to recreate a yoruba one
Why we are so similar to our neighbors in west africa but not Semites of Asia

You don't have enough evidence to even convince yourself that what you are saying is truth. You just love this hebrews so much that you would do anything to identify with them. . I perfectly understand what that is like.. its only just very disgusting. If you want to talk about tradition as you claim, what happened to the many beautiful prospects of the tradition, our knowledge of the universe?. . I like how lawani talked about yoruba ancients knowing that the earth is spherical like the moon..these are traditions people want to know not unproven and obnoxious ancestral connection with the middle-east

who said the quran is not a new book compaired to those others? the fact here is its not edited even once in history, but all those scriptures you mentioned are being edited always

see: http://www.gotquestions.org/Bible-corrupted.html

As most skeptics and atheists (as well as a number of
well-educated religious believers) know, the Bible is a work
of humans. As such, just as any other book, it has been
edited and revised quite a lot over the last couple of
thousand years.

n order to prove my point, I would like to reference an
excellent article on this topic from the Slacktivist blog over
at Patheos.com titled “Mischief follows in partisan Bible
translations”. The basic point behind this article is that
contrary to the claims of various fundamentalist factions
that the Bible is unchanging and inerrant, it has in fact
been edited quite recently. Specifically, the evidence proves
that the Bible has been edited for partisan political
purposes on the issue of abortion as recently as the late
1970s (which is within the lifetime of many readers
here!) Read this excerpt from the Slacktivist article for
more on this:

I am not buying the fulani tale sir,

you seems to favour Ogun other than Oduduwa, (I know you will find a place for Oduduwa now). Imagine everybody coming up with their version of Yoruba history, then it becomes no history but creative writeup.

It is better to be a medium through which Yoruba tradition come alive than seek to make the icon of history larger than live.

All other men tell their stories on the realm of men, but exactly what the profit would be if our forfathers were magnificient skygods I dont know.

Magnificient tales does not translate to true history, hence I prefer to echoe Yoruba traditions and make relative meaning from it.

I think this is better than being after an idea that need a novel idea and a novel idea and so on to sound convincing to nobody in particular.

Let's allow the traditions to speak for itself, then we can be students of tradition than being the makers of tradition.

If I am to introduce any idea, it has to have root in Yoruba world with closest meaning.
This is interesting. I love this ur post. .if only you stay true to it and stop linking yoruba to hebrews and other Semetic people of Asia, which our traditons, Culture and language have no links with

I thought you were joking but your subsequent posts show you may be serious. The first Ife people landed on Earth from outer space led by Ogun. They were a group of dare devil ancient astronauts who were tech savvy enough to land here from another human civilization in the universe, billions of such must exist littered all over the universe at various levels of advancement. Then after that, various other races used to land on Earth, one was named the Nephilim and were mentioned in the Bible. Genesis 6 1 to 4. Ifa is full of references to people coming from Orun.

Olisa Metuh, I'm a Buhari supporter but I agree with you that things are tough right now.

However, if your party headed by Jonathan didn't loot the treasury while he was the president, things wouldn't have been so bad like this.

Secondly, if jonathan had won second term, it would have been a disaster For Nigerians and this wailing you are wailing now would have been doubled!

The 2.1Billion that was paid to Dokpesi and the 10Billion Naira jonathan asked dasuki to change into dollars and paid pdp delegates, don't you think these monies would have gone a long way in fixing our Economy?

Jonathan sold oil for over 120usd and there was nonthing to show for it and Buhari is selling for less than 40 usd and you want The Economy to be okay over night!

Finally Mr Metuh, I saw one of the trains jonathan bought less than a year ago broken down in iganmu sometime last week.

How do you explain a "Brand New train" already broken down so soon?

Olisa Metuh, socrates said an unexermined life is not worth living.Exermine you self first before criticising Buhari.

Pdp killed this Country.

Nigeria will be great again!
Why do you think Nigeria's problems began with pdp? What did the military rulers which include buhari do?

Nigeria has always been a state with so much trouble and failures. . 1966 went from bad to worse and it has been at that level ever since, so blame the leaders who ended a promising parliamentary republic and plunged nigeria into a country of failures

DuduNegro and prexious...are you guys for real?
Imran,Ur, Giesi,Geese,Jesse...all lumped up and transliterated to Yoruba?
Kai, the black man really has been eaten up with inferiority complex!
And macof I've followed your posts for a while now...no word of reprimand for these low self esteem guys?

I'll pose these same questions I put at those silly Igbos who toed this same line:
1) When did Yorubas hear about Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and from whom?
2) If the British had not come to West Africa and the Islamists had not come to Kwara/Oyo...how would the Yorubas have heard about Abraham?
3) What is the oral or written history of Jerusalem, Abraham, Solomon, David and Moses in Yoruba land before the Islamists or whites arrived?
4) What was the oral or documented history of Egypt, Canaan, Jericho, Samaria and Libya in Yoruba land before the Islamists or whites arrived?

That should be a good starting point to draw the line between creative histories, historical improvisations and plain outright silliness.

Mind you, all known cultures who had any dealing with Middle Eastern peoples have written or oral verifiable histories...complete with dates, historical personalities and factual events as others remembered them. The Ethiopians still had the Book of Enoch complete with them even when a single copy could not be found among the so called Jews of Europe. The ruins of Axum are enough evidence to link her ancient inhabitants to Egypt. Why do conquered and colonized Africans who were literally told the story of Mohammed, Jesus Christ and Abraham...want to invent histories around peoples they never knew or heard about?
Bro, I've been active in protecting the yoruba pride. I can't stand and watch inferiority complex and religious sentiments destroy the yoruba nation

If you watch my posts well, you'll see I ask questions that none of these wannabe hebrews have no answer to

Yoruba are hebrews yet we left our beloved Yahweh and resorted to veneration of 401 Irunmoleshuh We have no knowledge of hebrew ancestorshuh No records of our journey from the middle-east

That's why I say afrocentrists are the second group of people(after African religiotards) damaging african pride and bringing shame to our ancestors. .. rather than concentrate on Africa, they cling to non black people and claim they built their civilization

Muhammad(s.a.w) is already protected by Allah, because of that, He cant read and write anything in His whole life, How can He luckly come with a book that never wrong? Hmmm rethink bro

Muslims are not worshipping kaaba, its just an order from Allah almighty that we shall have one unique qiblah, a direction to face when praying, so that muslims will be one single Community around the world..... Or do you have any proof of we are worshipping it?

7. How can that be possible bro?
Dont you know that previous scriptures to quran (attaurah-first testament given to prophet Moses) and (ingeela-second testament given to Prophet Jesus) and quran are from one single source? Where have you been when those books mention the quran that its surely coming since before it come to this world?

Mesopotamian civilization told of Mankind being formed from the blood of the Gods and clay of the earth. Adama ( Adam ) means " from red earth ( clay ) " or " from blood " in Hebrew and other eastern languages.

I'll try addressing some. ..
If you call I and my ancestors idol worshippers for using images to express ourselves then I will call you a bigger idol worshipper..cus you make use of a giant black cubicle, you pray towards it 5 times a Day and worship it during hajj.

The quran is not the only book to be claimed to be divine and completely accurate with powerful prophecies, every "holy book" is claimed to be divine and completely accurate with powerful prophecies. I don't know what is accurate about "the sun resting in a pond every evening" as Surah 19:86 says
The quran is a new book compared to the books of the eastern religions I mentioned, and they've remained unaltered..there's nothing spectacular about the quran
